So good round out there today what was kind of working well for you on the course yeah it was a good round you know just played really solid all day you know I think I only made one bogey on the 10th hole um just kept the ball in
Front of me stuck to our game plan and uh you know hold a couple pots when we needed to and made a bunch of pars which is always nice around here has there been a difference today in then the last couple days out there uh not too much um
You know obviously you know you make that turn to 11 you know you kind of you kind of want to just make a bunch pars out there with you know it’s always some wind out there so um not a whole lot you know we we uh were’re sticking to the
Same clubs off te’s for the most part and um you know just trying to hit a lot of Fairways and a lot of greens um so I mean last year you had some good success in this event and even AO you played well as or something about kind of being
On the islands you think you play well here or anything specific uh I wish I could tell you I I don’t know I mean it’s you know it’s kind of peaceful just kind of you know out there seeing the ocean that I mean the color of the ocean’s beautiful the waves crashing is
Always nice so you know I got got a buddy on the bag and we’re keeping it light we’re laughing out there and uh yeah so far it’s been a really fun week keeping it light out there is that kind of something you think you mindset you’ve had coming into this year overall
Or kind of what’s been your thought coming in this year uh yeah for the most part um you know I’ve been working pretty hard on my mental game with my uh mental coach Brian Kane and um you know it’s nice to see some uh some good stuff
Coming from it you know trying not to get too high when things are going uh good and not to get too low and things are going bad just trying to uh what we call it stay in the green light and um you know I think I’ve done a really good
Job at that so far and uh you know whatever happens tomorrow we’re just going to we’re going to try to stay in the green light as much as possible is there anything kind of specific you do out there to kind of stay in the green
Light as you say um you know not a whole lot there’s you know there’s a there’s a couple things we you know we work on you know I mean you know you can get upset over a shot it’s just you know how quick you can get back into that that green
Light we call it and and you know be focused for the next one and um you know I haven’t really uh you know I haven’t really got too high or low on any any shots so far so um yeah just going to kind of stick to it you know tomorrow’s
Going to be fun it’s going to be a challenge and uh you know I’m looking forward to it you’ve been playing a lot of golf coming into this event or you take some time off I took some time off yeah we got a little girl at home 6
Months old and uh you know we built a house and moved into it two weeks ago so I’ve been uh been kind of being a handyman around the house as of late you know I got a couple rounds in with my dad and some buddies uh you know before
I came down here but um I wouldn’t say it was a uh normal preparation for a tournament before but um you know my my game felt good coming in and uh yeah it’s feeling good been an adjustment with the six Monon year old in the house
It’s been it’s been a little bit of adjustment yeah it’s been great she’s an amazing baby uh you know my wife’s like a super mom I keep calling her she’s uh she’s awesome while I’m on the road and but yeah the baby’s amazing she sleeps I
Don’t know where she got her sleep from definitely wasn’t for me but uh yeah she’s been it’s been a lot of fun with her bill I root for the bills yeah it’s going to be a fun game were you able to watch uh the yesterday uh we caught the
Last uh last quarter of it yeah it was good good to see him playing well at the right time how do you feel about the Chiefs uh I mean obviously I think they’re the team to beat um you know at least in that division so uh you know
There those games are always pretty electric so I think it’s going to be a good game but I I think uh I think the bills will come out on top
