Hey everyone welcome back to the channel and today we’ll be discussing the 2024 American Express PGA Tour is coming back to California after a couple tournaments down in Hawaii and this is going to be an exciting first uh tournament here in California with the America with the
American Express it is played at three courses the Pete dat Pete die Stadium Course which hosts two of those rounds then you have one round that’s at the linta Country Club and then the last one is at the Nicholas tournament course now when looking at all three of these
Courses they’re all par 72 courses and they’re pretty short as well uh with that being said there are far four par fives on each of these courses which players should be able to take advantage of and scoring will be low this week uh with that being said there’s virtually
No no rough this week the wind should be be down uh with it being in California should be very nice weather to play golf and hopefully get some nice scoring conditions as well um last week we had a great tournament in the at the Sony Open with Grayson Murray getting his first
Ever win on the PJ tour and this tournament has had some surprise winners uh in the past so it’ll be exciting to see if anyone can pull that off and if anyone can and take down the top players with shuffler returning this week shley Klay Justin Thomas and Etc so without
Further Ado let’s look at the field this week and our prices on DraftKings sheffler is the number one highest priced golfer this week no surprise there he’s the number one player of the world uh behind him you have Xander choffle at 109 and Patrick cently at 108
And then finally our last 10K person is sunj a at 101 out of that range I’d say sheffler is the easier favorite uh to choose from uh I think K and shley are going to get a good amount of ownership uh just because they’re always pretty popular um
And have a lot of success at this event uh one name I’m looking at is sunj at 101 um he’s priced high and considering his price I don’t know if a lot of people are going to click him this week considering um you have people like
Justin Thomas Jason day Tony F now Ricky Fowler who are below him who are probably more recognizable uh for the Casual player so I like sunj this week uh just off of first glances uh if we look at the 9k range we got Tom Kim at 99 Justin Thomas 98 Jason day 96
Uh minwu lee 95 Sam BMS 9400 Tony feno 933 Ricky Fowler 92 JT Poston 91 and Chris Kirk rounding it out at 9k uh instantly what uh sticks out to me is Min at 95 um he is one of the hottest players right now um
And he I believe this is his first time coming to the course uh but he is just a great wedge player great putter great allaround um game coming from Australia and I think he’s going to be the next rising star on the PGA tour um he just
Has a lot of a lot of excitement to him and and the PJ tour kind of needs a new guy to um help keep that fun lot fun going um with everything going on with Liv uh I think it’s important to get these new characters involved um on tour and he is
One who’s going to be great uh yeah 95 I like his pric this week I think people might think he’s a little bit too overpriced this week um and it might be difficult to click his name but i’ like him in this range with who is
Around him uh the other guy I’m looking at is JT Poston uh he’s just been on fire recently he had a great final round uh let’s look at that yeah he has 61 his final round on Sunday at the Sony um just been absolutely killing it T3 T5 and a solo 6
Um to start the season and Chris Kirk is someone I’m interested in again um obviously won the century played well at the Sony um easy course killer uh great great putter um good around the greens accurate uh and this course doesn’t necessarily play to those who
Can bomb it um or it’s not necessarily for those who are shorter either or don’t hit the ball as far it’s pretty allaround so Chris Kirk I like this week as well if we go to the eight 8K range uh wendam Clark 8,900 Eric Cole 8,800 Shane Lowry 87 SE
Kim 8600 Cam Davis 84 Adam hadwin 83 a b 82 Taylor Mony 81 Andrew putam 8K and rounding it out Daniel Burger returning from injury is priced at 8K of this group there really isn’t anyone that’s screaming at me um Eric Cole 8800 I think is going to be
A a lot of people are going to play him this week um considering last last week he was n mid 9k I think and now he’s dropped his price um he’s just a birdie maker easy course you know um if we look at his results yeah I Mean fourth at the fortnite T3 at the Shriners T2 at the zoza T3 at RSM and two top 15 finish is I mean he’s it’s kind of hard not to play him um definitely I would say he’s more of a cash game play than tournament play
Because I think he’s going to be highly owned in tournaments but yeah Eric Cole 8,800 I’m in on him this week uh siuk Kim former winner here I believe um 8600 hasn’t been playing great but he tends to kind of break out out of nowhere um I don’t I think he will be
Pretty low owned this week um Adam hadwin struggled um to make the cut he just missed it on the number last week uh I could close it out um yeah Adam is looking he he his price increased since uh last week um and I think people might be off
Of him this week considering his miscut last week so he could be a bounceback candidate um and then the other guy that have some interest is Taylor Montgomery um he’s been playing a lot better and last season started hot and then didn’t you know play great the rest of the year but
He’s had 12 straight rounds in the 60s 15 out of his last 16 and 18 out of his last 20 have been in this or you know 70 or less so he’s someone I’m looking at this week as a tournament player if we go to um the 7K range starting off will
Zator 79 Bo Hustler Alex noren TL Taylor pendrith all 78 Billy horel Keith Mitchell Aaron Ry 77 you got uh Thomas dietry Davis Thompson Adam shank Tom hogi 7600 and then you got Nick Taylor Rio histon and Matt or Eric V wow Eric Von ran Matt coer Nick Taylor and Rio histon at
75 um last year this is the event that Davis Thompson exploded for I don’t know six Eagles eight Eagles some absurd number um ultimately didn’t win but just made a mockery of all the all of the holes I mean he just played out of his mind um through those first three
Days um so I think he’ll get some popularity this week from that I think a pivot would be actually Thomas dietry um Euro guy who’s came over to play this uh play on the tour um pretty consistent guy um I don’t know if he has the upside
To win this event but I like him as a pivot I guess off of Thompson if he’s going to gain some steam if we go back up to the higher 7K range zorus is a tough uh tough buy just cuz he’s coming back from injury putting looks very
Shaky but his ball striking is good um I just don’t know if he went if he can contend in an event like this like as a birdie maker um I think he’s more suited for lower like 15 and under type uh wins and anything over 15 15 under I think is
Doesn’t fit his play style um Bo Hustler is very interesting at 78 but I think he’s going to be pretty attractive this week um or a big click same as Keith Mitchell I think he’s going to be clicked a lot this week um so I don’t mind I don’t mind Aaron Riot 77
Um out of that group yeah if we go down to the lower 7K range Ben Griffin 74 Matt Wallace 74 Justin Su and K H Le also 7400 7300 we got Alex SMY Christian Baden H uh Nicholas lindheim Austin ekro and Brandon woo 7200 we got Mark hubard Sam Ryder Matias Schmid Sam
Stevens uh Matthew pavon then we got Lee Hodes Michael Kim Ben Kohl’s chest Hadley Ryan Palmer Grayson Murray at 7100 and at 7K we got s Hong Kim Doug Yim Dylan wo Grayson sake Patton Kaz and Garrick higo this group has a lot of interesting names
Um one that sticks out to me is Alex SMY again again I think he’s underpriced he did miss last week mix missed a cut last week but he missed on the number um so I like him to bounce back this week uh I think Baden how is going to get steam this
Week uh Nicholas lindheim he withdrew before the Sony um but has been playing decent uh he is coming over from the corn fairy tour um and has some PJ tour starts before uh Sam Ryder is someone I’m looking at this week uh he’s a birdie
Maker he’s been on under 70 in his last four or eight rounds um he can get hot with his approaches and the putter so I like him this week and uh Paton kazy is someone I like this week but I think he is starting to gain momentum and ownership as a popular 7K
Guy so if I were to pivot off of him I would probably say Garrick higo higo is someone who can get hot with an instant um the metrics are kind of all over the place uh but this course could fit his style um he can do it all you know putt chip
Drive the ball you know knock a club close but many times he’s decent or you know above average in two out of the four three out of the four and one is holding him down um so I I like him as an interesting tournament play at 7K this
Week and if we go down to the 6K range um I am going to look see if there’s anyone that I have interest in um I’m sure Carl Yuan will get some will get some ownership T4 and a solo fourth and his last three starts um Robert
McIntyre and Alex Bor um he made the cut last week at the Sony which is good for him this is a course I would say that Um would be interesting for him because he’s good with his wedges and he’s good off the tea um but if he can find you know the Fairway McIntyre at 68 I think is a nice play or at least has upside um alandro tasy he’s a corn fairy tour person who
Has joined or earned his card for the PGA Tour this year made the cut last week um and had his best round in his final round last week um so I like him as a pivot this week trying to think Johnny Vegas at 66 um veteran he missed um by two strokes but
He’s been playing better um and he’s been returning from injury so I don’t hate him this week Nate Lashley 66 seems too cheap especially for an easier course um but then again he’s has to make some putts and KN it close so he he’s Boomer bus this week Davis Riley
6600 that’s crazy for him because he’s a PJ tour winner from last year Um yeah I don’t I don’t hate him either Joel Damon Callum tan uh vjas he’s been hot you know I mean there’s a lot of players down in this low 6K range that prob in a normal tournament probably would be 67 $800 maybe higher you you got Hayden Buckley who’s you
Know returning from injury Kevin shman shz Rey I mean yeah Harrison andic Cott uh Zack Johnson Andrew Novak yeah I don’t down here snaker Ling mer I’m sure um Michael BLS in the field this week so like down here I don’t mind any or some of these players Martin la bad like a
Excuse me excuse me I don’t mind any of these players down in the 6K range as like a oneoff or if you’re trying to stack the top and you need a couple lower players I mean there are players down in this range that can make the cut I’m going do
Well um but yeah overall I would say sunj is one person I’m looking at this week JT Poston Eric Cole Taylor Montgomery uh Aaron Ry Nick Taylor let’s go Sam Ryder Paton kazy I would say those are some of the guys I am looking at this week um and yeah this is
