Guys welcome back to the channel and welcome to a very special video today I have a very special guest Brook Henderson thank you for joining on Theel we’re at a beautiful golf course and um we’re just going to do a we’re going to play a match stroke play straight up I know I probably hit a little farther but you’re still you’re still you’re still a way better golfer so I think I’m giving myself the best

Chance possible but um thanks for being here what driver are you hitting oh yeah well thanks first of all for having me I’m looking forward to it um yeah so the new tailor M qi1 I’m super excited I just got it yesterday so far I love it

Um so I’m excited to put it in action so you’re hitting the regular one and I’m hitting the ls I saw Nelly was hitting the the max oh was she did you did you hit that one I actually I’ve only hit this one and I just took a couple swings

And I was like I like this one so I put it in my bag and I haven’t gone back but I feel like you know when you find something that works for you you just you just go with it yeah that’s super cool but we’re going to do a traditional

T flip serit go first B and Brooke gets the honors thank you this hole guys it’s really straight away kind of what you see is what you get there’s three pins on these greens because this is you know we’re out here for tailor made and they

Doing all kinds of content you know cont getting the content we’re going to go front right and then we’ll pick another one on the next hole what’s your kind of thought process when you’re like you know first t- shot so normally you know you like to play a lot of practice

Rounds gets a feel for the course kind of know your surroundings and things but you know today I’m just trying to pick a small Target there’s not much win right now which is really nice but kind of identify the factors and conditions and pick the trunk of that really tall tree

And hopefully that finds the center of the Fairway little cuy but it looks like it should be in the Fairway maybe 15 ft right of your target a little more a little bit I think the ground SL to it a little I feel very tight and you have I’m going to be

Aiming way left but whenever I’m tight I always cut it so we’re going to hope it cuts and get something in the Fairway oh go I don’t know what’s over there not sure you see it down yeah I think it’s just over there in the dirt like in the

Wasteland all right well that’s the old swipey cut but Brooke is in the Fairway and I am not so she has the advantage right away so these are known as cart cans in the YouTube or so you turned Pro in 2015 uh yeah technically 2014 um yeah my

How old were you then I was 17 17 wow turn pro is 17 how was that like you weren’t even out of high school yet yeah well I graduated a semester early um which was good so I got to just you know live the tour life right away but I

Didn’t have status on the LPG course so I had to like Ray qualify and ask for sponsor exemptions so in that way it was a little bit stressful but it all worked out really well that’s awesome and and you’ve had like you’ve had some some really good success on the lpj tour and

I I followed along it’s it’s it’s been really neat to see your progress but what do you feel like I mean at 17 going out there there’s so many people who are you know they’ve been on the tour for 10 years when you’re at 17 what’s that like

As far as like you obviously you knew you were good enough but especially going into Monday qualifiers was it like you said it was stressful but what does that process kind of look like yeah I mean Monday qualifiers are kind of tricky cuz you have one shot you know

And you got to go out and go low so I feel like in one way it was really great mindset cuz you had to make a bunch of birdies and you had to goo so you know every time out you were trying to be the

Best you can and I feel like that has really helped me since then um but yeah like I gave up a scholarship I decided that I was going to skip school so that was also a little bit stressful like that’s the ultimate bet on yourself yeah

For sure but awesome but like I said it worked out really well and it’s been a lot of fun out here for the last like eight or nine years I love that I love that 50 to the wind what are you playing that uh there seems to be a little bit

Of green in front I might just play the 50 number and play a little left to right he that was a great strike y front right yeah I missed the Fairway and like I don’t even think this is determined as a waste area this is like construction

Site yeah construction site I think this is like the part of the course they told us not to show got a tricky one 133 y i just up over some trees yeah I do not think that I have enough Club I’ll try it I don’t want to walk back to the cart

Ricky just gave me a short game lesson too so I’m feeling confident if I missed the green 50° wins into off the left play a little bit right or whoa one thing you got to know about me is I I don’t know left and right there you go I

Have I have like minor form of dyslexia that was a pretty good place to miss it if you’re going to miss it don’t want to miss in that bunker so yeah I know you got up the hill yeah all good how was the short game lesson oh it was

Fantastic yeah that’s like a part of my game that I struggle with the most is you know 100 yards in I lose way too many shots so he’s he was a good person to talk to about it yeah cool wow that’s horrendous those are some dirty grooves

Just short I knew I didn’t have enough Club but I left myself in a pretty good position Brook is perfectly pin High I’m pretty sure she’s probably going to cut that but this thing is breaking to the right the whole waist but I got to I

First time here and I’ve been pretty impressed with like the the level of organization I know it’s like absolutely crazy so what they are able to actually do is incredible I agree yeah but cool to you know meet new people and see the other athletes I know it’s it’s been

Really neat we me and Grant have been looking forward to this all year cuz we knew we were going to get to do some stuff with top players in the world which is just really neat so hopefully you guys enjoy this and hopefully we can

Do more of it never seen it before this is a Cobalt and I I firmly believe it’s the best Ranch finder in golf um I’ve been using it for I think I’ve been using it for three years now and it’s crazy I just absolutely love it it’s so stable

And it’s like completely unnecessary but I can shoot things at like 2 200 yards really which is like I I don’t know any other the golf range find that can do that but I absolutely love it and it’s just like they’re really they’re not

That big yet but I think they will be in the future we’ll see how long is your sister been catting for you that’s pretty neat yeah she’s been catting she just finished her eighth year so she going so I’m like pretty close to your entire care yeah the first year she CED

Off and on a little bit but then the next year she was full-time that’s awesome is that really is that a is that a like what’s that like sister Dynamic caddy I I love it yeah cool she’s older than me so she’s always looking after me

Yeah and just it’s nice to have somebody you trust so much you know for sure 125 caddy says 18 yards of wind 18 yards over the bunker oh 18 yards over the bunker so you’re you’re a professional caddy so what’s what is like I’m always struggling with like okay this is 10 mph

Wind it’s 124 what’s it playing it differs for every person I feel like so that’s why wind is sometimes is difficult to judge because you know your ball play how much spin you get is going to be different than what Brook has to play trajectory and all those things

Place that’s you like to hit it like a low ball flight high ball flight yeah I prefer like just obviously the stock that’s ideal but I don’t mind hitting it low um I tend to hit quite a few knockdowns especially when it’s windy yeah that’s awesome well you have honor

Still oh I do yeah I better get Going it went up in the air a little bit thank you’re putting I know there’s not much room left of it there’s room right of it 124 I think I feel pretty confident about pitching wge kind of 1 135 1 maybe 5 138 try to hit just kind

Of a low one in there so it didn’t get affected by the Spin that’s good it might be a a little short looks really good thanks I think we both have Birdie putts on hole number two here part three Golf Course is like brand new yeah brand new

Like it’s not even open yet yeah we’re we’re we’re the like the first people to ever play on this golf course and it I I don’t know if I’ll ever come back but it’s pretty cool yeah it’s awesome we both got birdie putts here I think that

Was that shot was playing maybe 150 maybe 150 but um birdie putts here on the second Brook is just out these pins they kind of got them on the side of slopes today when it comes to putting it you like a big feel putter or you like

Yeah I say like all parts of my game very much feel try not to be like very technical just try to yeah trust instincts and go for it yeah that’s awesome yeah when I when I’m putting I’m thinking about Speed Line humidity temperature you know if I had

Enough coffee that morning like there’s so many things got to go It’s actually pretty good speed just a little short you can pick that up that’s good yeah it’s you’re not missing that one it’s like a foot and a half all right birdie put for me this has to be breaking a little bit it out uh you can

Leave it in on this one it’s fine this is breaking a little bit left I got some leaves here see if I can make this go to one under par looks good oh man what a putt thank you that was I felt really good about

That yeah that was is a great try I saw your putter gri it’s like Square I’ve never seen that before it’s pretty cool I’ve never seen that before but it looks like really really neat yeah is there what kind of LED you to that well actually uh Lydia Co was using it last

Year and she’s an amazing putter I played with her and she was making everything and I needed to switch so I was like just get me exactly what she has yeah that’s awesome and that’s the is that the new spider yeah it’s brand new yeah the the spider tour yeah I love

It the weight and the feel of it feels great what’s like what do you feel like the best part of your game and like the weakest part of your game is uh normally ball striking is the strength of mine um so I love it you know being out in the

Fairway and trying to give myself opportunities for birdie yeah I’d say short game is definitely where I can improve that’s like that’s like me I said you have to have a good short game if you just hit greens all right our third hole of the day par for it’s like

300 yard straight in straight into the wind maybe off the left a little bit you going driver yeah I’m going driver I’m going to try to go up that right side and see what happens wow I think that’s almost exactly what you’re were talking about I wasn’t

Trying to do so hopefully it works out okay you’re going to have you’re going to have about 83 yards in okay perfect going to try to hit just a little peeler up the left side and cut it back towards the green I want to hit a good drive I I

Don’t need to hit this too hard though that’s a low heel ball it’s in the Fairway I’ll take it yeah big rip well I was wrong you have about 50 yards yeah this is nice I mean tricky pin position though it’s in a little Bowl

44 I’m just going to take a little look over here and see how much room is there you do a 60 56 I do 60 and then this is actually 53 oh okay and then I think this is maybe 49 oh okay yeah so I’m a

Little bit weird I do 54 and 50 I don’t like a and I do 58 I don’t do 60 I just don’t like I don’t know what it is when I see a 60° it just makes like I like to open it and feel more L but I don’t like

Sitting at it and for a while at Majors I would use a 64 dee oh my gosh and the thing was wide open was that you just I mean what was the purpose of that just the greens are like so fast and firm and I just needed like a little bit extra

Spin when I got in tough spots so it gave me a lot of confidence but it took some getting used to it for sure I haven’t I haven’t hit a good drive yet and she hasn’t missed a shot yet I mean that’s a tap in so I need to get this

Close and try to uh try to make birdie put the pressure on you yeah you really did that’s a great shot from there there’s not much like area to land it but I got a little 58° I’m definitely going to give that one to the brook yeah you had a really tough

Shot with this huge Mound right in front down the hill breaking to the right probably two cups it can’t be too hard I knock this in for birdie keep the match all square wow that’s clutch thank you I’m glad it hit the hole that speed hey that feels good all

Square we got a par five coming up good pretty yeah good you too is awesome that’s a hole you don’t want to not make Birdie on true it feels bad if you don’t you make a part it feels like a bogey we have made it to the final hole that’s a

Great those was really two good birdies to keep the match it all square we have a par five to finish on which I love finishing on par fives um that bunker is 295 there’s a lot of room to the right to the left of it see I just did it yeah

You did um it’s like 295 but uh Brook still has honors and it is a power five so you know anything can happen feel like you have the advantage on this one uh if i h a good one I had a good one see that hand out coordination yeah

Know that was that was impressive you play any other sports yeah I played hockey oh going up that’s cool I I I’ve never played hockey and I’m so bad on the ice oh really like I can skate but I have to use the uh the skates with the

Uh claws in the front whatever they’re called the figger skates really I can’t skate with anything else that’s so funny it’s weird I don’t know why but I can only only skate with the ones with the claw in the front I feel like being Canadian you kind of grew up wearing

Skates so it looks fun it looks really fun it can be really fun yeah I was really happy I played hockey growing up because I feel like it taught me a lot like yeah I was a goalie though so didn’t transfer too much but no it was a lot of

Fun uhoh sit ball it might creep into the bunker I think it’s short it’s not a good Miss I think get short of the bunker though that hurts yeah but you just hit it so straight well that one wasn’t so straight but normally it straight it just it was just

Straight on a little bit different line than you wanted yes it’s it’s just it’s absolutely amazing it’s like I mean all the best players in the world all do that like watching Ricky and and Brooke they just like they don’t miss starting just left of that bunker I may be able

To cover I don’t know where exactly the wind is down I I should be able to cover it pretty easily that looks really good I think that was a pretty good one oh fa yeah yeah I think that was hit pretty well good time to hit good time

To hit a good one so you’re like approaching the well not quite you’ve been on tour for 7 years 8 years no this would be year 10 coming up oh year 10 so wow year 10 on tour it’s kind of like some of your goals and how far do you

Want to take it right yeah I mean I’ve been I’m really grateful for the success that I’ve had so far um last year this year like 20 23 I only won one time I was the season opener okay and then I kind of went dry for a little bit so I’m

Excited to kind of get that next win hopefully sooner than later yeah if I could kind of get back to winning multiple times in a season that’s kind of Ideal I’ve been it there for a while that felt pretty good so yeah that’s probably the main goal going into next

Year yeah that’s awesome how how long can you see yourself play uh yeah I’m not really sure I mean it’s a little bit different the men’s um side versus the women inside like the men I feel like can play Forever MH really long time but

Um we’ll just kind of see I mean the body feels really good and I feel it’s still a lot of fun to be competing against the best in the world so I’m going to try to go as long as I can and have a success that’s awesome I love

That so I’m I’m pretty far out I’m 260 uh I do have the wind helping which is nice so hopefully I can get it within you know short chip range that would be ideal especially since my playing competitor hit a really long ball and it’s easily going to be able to hit the

Green it too so I definitely need to make biry Now I think there okay yeah all right 1079 yards what are you playing here uh those are the oh my plub is 7 MB yeah MB so I have like a combo set 456 or MC and then 789 fishing wedge or MB oh yeah those are really nice right I like them

I’ve tried to play it more forgiving iron because these are obviously really hard to hit for sure they are and I could I might go to the MC’s but for some reason like if I play a more forgiving iron in my like scoring clubs I just my distance control gets so bad

Because I think it’s because I even with these clubs I still swing pretty fast and so like I’ll hit shots that’ll go 20 yards long and then other shots will be 30 yard short cuz like the spin is just all over the place and I’m like I can’t

Handle that I’m going to hit an eight iron try to hit a little all started at the right side of the green see if this comes up where I want it to not bringing it in either not at all it looks like I found grass though

It spun Up Against The Wind that was just not a good quality golf shot thank you no easy birdie yet not yet I mean you’re in better position than I am yeah the match is still alive it’s good though I’m glad it’s competitive but

We’ll see if we can get up and down make a couple birdies I’m okay with the tie you know that’ be a win for me what about you cple birdies to finish that would feel good is the wind kind of like helping you here uh yeah I mean a little bit a

Little bit right to left if I aim a little bit this way it might hold it up which would be helpful do you try to hit like high soft shots or you low spinny or um I I switch it up I guess this one

I feel like I’m going to have to come in pretty high just because of this big slope here see if I can knock one close put the pressure on you this is I have a feeling this is going to be really good he’s got lot of G to work

With oh I got a kick oh that got a kick forward it’s really good little bit little bit left well I’m actually kind of glad this stayed out of whatever that is I’m almost right up against a call it a little bit short Brooke has 10 ft for

Birdie maybe I’m going to try to go a little bit lower and let this release I got like a weird little bowl there so I got to make sure and just get through that what a shot nice thanks wow feel like that chipping lesson really works something

Happened because I couldn’t get up and down from anywhere all right this is a big putt all right right here to tie the match to tie the match or that would call for a like rematch at some point so oh it just stayed straight a great
