Great round today um you know um those 17 and 18 are considered scoring holes but obviously very different um so uh and you did well on them today so uh can you talk a little bit about about those holes yeah those were crucial holes uh you know to finish up the day and
Hopefully get in the last group I hit perfect shot on 16 hit a little cut six iron up in there and made a really tricky Putt and then 18 that kind of hit a bad Drive got a good break and hit a beautiful six iron again onto the middle
Of the green two putter for birdie so that was that was huge I imagine um it’s somewhat nerve-wracking to have such a crowded leaderboard but is it fun in some ways too yeah I mean it’s it is what it is I’m I’m trying to just worry
About myself you know if I go out and shoot a good round tomorrow it’s going to be tough to beat so there’s a lot of great players and a lot of players within handful of shots of the lead so it’ll be difficult as usual obviously the conditions Monday were way different
But would you say to today was pretty similar to yesterday or is there some subtle differences yeah I mean there there were times where the wind was blowing it kind of laid down at the end of the day um not expecting a ton of win to win tomorrow but uh I really enjoy
Playing this course I I’ve always I always have and I’ve always felt like I I could someday win here and hopefully that day will be tomorrow thank you you enjo events where your everybody else this yeah it’s it’s it’s a tricky thing because you you can’t be staring at the leaderboard all
Day cuz if you if you make a bogey or a few Pars in a row you can go from leading to 12th in a second so I got to go out tomorrow and should probably shoot another pretty low one to to win when did you start feeling comfortable
Playing in in the lead and having a chance to win probably not till the last couple years I it took me it’s my 14th year took me about 12 years until I felt like a veteran out here and I I do now I I didn’t feel like that even 2 3 years
Ago but you know now I sort of feel a lot more comfortable like days like today felt totally fine I I expect to be nervous tomorrow but I definitely have felt better in these situations how many perfect shots do you feel like you hit today because you said
