Would you “push the red button” for Class A cricket? Each to their own, which is essentially what Western Australia said following Matthew Renshaw’s conspiracy selection last week. Kim Hughes felt particularly sick, poor bloke. Steve Smith’s going to open – it’s trappings where trappings are needed. But can this team go bulk? The Australian family populace can – they’re turning out in such numbers at the Bucket on Bonce League, where the top 4 is locked and Warner rode a helicopter. We assess Shaun Marsh’s career. TLDR; my kingdom to render others’ pigeons. Finch and SOK get their flowers. There’s a genre-leading catch in the Super Smash, NZ dusts Pakistan, India does so Afghanistan, Virat does Novak. We look again at India v England, before #AskTGC ponders “prospective” women, unrequited interest, and Brian Lara.

  1. Bancroft will probably come in when Khawaja goes next year so its all a bit of a storm in a tea cup really. Although if they then go with Pucovski then we may see WA cede from the federation.

  2. S Marsh was a brilliant ODI player. Was the in form batter for acouple years there and looked so comfortable in the white ball format. Then somehow looked like the most nervous starter I've ever seen in the test arena.

  3. One thing I think you guys missed out, Shaun Marsh's career average in the IPL is 39.95 with a Strike Rate of 132.74

  4. It's a bit funny that there are people in WA claiming NSW bias when the whole point of moving Smith to 1 is to get Green (a Perth boy) into the side.

Not to mention Green isn't just decent with the paddle, he's a bloody good fielder and freakishly tall, which just so happens to be a very good combination for Test cricket.

  5. These guys are just woke knobheads aren't they
Its one thing to be woke,i consider myself woke but woke knobheads is different
They are so far gone they cant see the obvious hypocrisy here
Why is Australia changing everything to keep smith as the opener?
Thats the exact thing cummins said he wont do in the wc 2023
They got nothing to answer on that except weird politics
Also the reason this team is doing all this politics is because of the ball tempering scandal
    Just to look good

  6. BOYS!!!
Great ep as always! Always the bright spot of a Monday morning is a new TGC episode upload!

  7. 1:06:10 so glad that shot got a shout out. I have never seen anything like that, period. The cleanest, most sublime flick off leg stump I will ever see.

  8. "The best since Bradman" carries as much weight as "The best thing since sliced bread". Steve Smith, "best since Bradman"….😂😂😂😂

  9. You could make meme material out of the line "I nearly vomited" and use it multiple times like you do for punter 😂

  10. At 1:23:00 time stamp , Ian is right about Rohit not good a t20 player. He is good in odis. But in t20 WC he has been dismal. This includes t20 2022 and 2021.
