I compare one of the hottest 2024 launches TaylorMade Qi10 Driver against the 2023 Stealth2 Driver in a head to head battle to see if the new version is better!! I compare looks, feel, technology and of course performance.

This new driver from TaylorMade is one of many golf launches along with Cobra Dark Speed, Callaway Ai Smoke, Ping G430 Max 10K to name a few.

So we’ve just seen the release of the brand new tailor made Qi 10 driver lineup and this video we’re going to put it up against the one it’s replaced the stealth 2 so we’re going to see if 2024 is better than 2023 so I have done a full review video of the new Qi 10 you can go and check that out for more indepth test tech review of the three models that available in this video I’m going to use the standard model so the qi1 up against

The stealth 2 so this is a light for light comparison I’m using Fuji cor Ventus TR velor in a 6X 41 and a/4 Ines in length Golf Pride MCC midsize plus4 grip same shaft for both of these heads both 9° set at 9° this is equal as we

Are going to get it so we’re going to start hitting some with the stealth to going to compare maybe the looks the feel and obviously the performance more importantly so we’re going to hit three with each and Alternate it and we’re going to start off with the stealth

To oh that’s good strike little bit of that left hand side very solid feel to that as we know with the stealth 2 so obviously very pronounced with the red face you know we we saw that it was a bit of a different concept when stealth

Came out stealth 2 then became a little bit more forgiving than original stealth and we are seeing now or Taylor Made A claiming that the qi1 is more forgiving again it’s another good strike very similar line to that first one that’s a good strike as well a

Little bit straight to B flight that one a little bit higher might just spin a touch more maybe on that particular flight that little left to right shape yeah okay right so let’s switch over q i 10 hit three with that just want to jump in quickly there appreciate everybody

Who’s watching the videos but up to 80% % of my viewers who are watching are not subscribed to the channel so I really appreciate you just take a couple of seconds hit that subscribe button ring the bell away there and then you’ll get a notification to any video that lands

On my channel You’ be one of the very first ones to watch it appreciate your support as always okay so just before we jump into hitting some shots let’s do a little bit of comparison to just how these golf clubs look so turning them over and looking at the sole of the golf

Club first obviously we see a lot of red black with the stealth too weight positioned slightly into the heel towards the front of the driver with that then weight at Central at the back something very similar that we see in qi 10 again the weight in the same position

We see speed pocket again that weight in the back little bit of obviously different color coding in terms of the bottom of the golf club but still got all this carbon and maybe looking like there’s a little bit more carbon in the sole of the QI 10 against the stealth 2

Then into that playing position and for me this is where the the the biggest difference is between these two drivers in terms of a look a much cleaner look in q i 10 against stealth 2 obious we got the red back sort of lipstick in stealth too stealth in emboss sort of

Quite large in the heel but quite subtle but obviously this red face against the black really stands out and when you move it into Qi 10 much more subtle now with a blue face not red now blue and that just is a bit more subtle against

The black so it doesn’t jump out as much a little bit more alignment a at the top and we lose that edging around the whole Golf Club on its Crown this Affinity Crown now 97% more Carbon on the crown the golf club and for me gives it a

Better look a cleaner look in there very subtle qi1 logo on the back of the driver and you don’t really see the carbon shining through until you look really closely on the look side of things I think that’s an improvement from tailor made so same shaft in 9° set

At 9° let’s go with qi1 oh that’s a cracker it’s a stunning ball flight very straight on that particular one launch 11 yep Spin 2 94 four it’s a little bit lower toe but a very straight ball flly on that one that wasn’t quite as flushed as the first

Shot maybe that spin might just climb a tiny bit Yeah felt that a little bit lower in that face on the strike there just losing a little bit of distance just really through that spin number but accuracy wise very very straight and that’s the big talking point with the

Qi1 is this moment of inertia this is a higher moment of inertia against the stealth 2 make it a little bit more forgiven on those M hits a little bit more resistance to twist in on those slight offc Center hits and again that wasn’t actually

Flush to be fair that was a little bit high toe but again the flight is pretty good so shaft now back into the stealth two head another three shots oh that’s ripped okay back into Qi 10 and the final three shots with the stealth two I think to be honest between the two

Drivers they both feel very very similar mentioned the looks I think of the biggest difference between these two drivers obviously we’ve got some internal claims that Taylor Made saying it as well sometimes really difficult to test that isn’t it but terms of the feel of the carbon face feels very similar

Between the two okay we’ll hit the last one with a stealth too before we hit the final three with the qi1 then we’ll look at a few Numbers that’s a bit up that left I think we’re just maybe seeing a bit of a pattern of more of a left shot and to be honest when I sit that down and I don’t know whether this is because of the red face but to me it looks like it’s more

Loft on the golf club because it’s a brighter color maybe and it stands out a little bit more but it also also looks a little bit towed in uh against the qi1 which for me sits a lot lot squarer okay final three with qi1 that’s lovely what a lovely ball

Flight just look to be a little bit more spin on that shot sometimes with that que out there just sort of climbs a little bit yeah I’ve had a couple High Spinners that felt a decent strike there but has just sort of climbed a little bit

Okay that’s a lovely one to finish up on with the QI 10 okay let’s go and check some numbers out stealth 2 versus qi1 okay so I just obiously want to compare strike as well cuz we know that can make a big influence in terms of what how

This ball sort of launches and Spins and obviously ball speed as well so this is a heat patch on all nine shots hit with the stealth 2 driver and then when going I click that onto the nine shots with the QI 10 you can see it’s pretty much

Identical on that strike location if we then look at the bird’s eye view inside on view of the ball flights again all these white ones is with stealth to and then we look at where we at at Qi 10 you can maybe see just a slightly higher

Profile on that ballf flight with qi1 against the stealth 2 and then when we look at the averages there between the two drives see Club head speed absolutely identical same length shaft everything weight Etc ball speed wise can see 1633 up against 626 so a tiny

Bit quicker on an average with the QI 10 again sometimes just sub as a strike and just change that around so pretty identical there uh launch touch higher spin um fraction lower there not a lot between these two golf clubs in all honesty obviously there’s a four yard

Difference of carry total there and three yards nearly four yards in terms of total distance and that’s just going to come through a little bit that ball speed slight adjustment of that spin and launch is going to make the difference there so you know if I think if you put

These into a rot in terms of distance they’re going to be absolutely identical the other column I’ve just added in there as well which just to sort of see where that flight was cuz we saw a little bit more of a left flight with the stealth 2 against the qi1 so I want

To check my delivery on the L angle so my Dynamic Li is 52.4 De 52.8 so pretty much identical with those two drivers so really that more left by a shot with the stealth to’s probably come in from that slightly closed uh Club face position at a dress post your comments down below

Let know your thoughts between those two drivers is qi1 on your radar to try for 2024 love to hear your thoughts as always hopefully we’ll catch up you all very soon

  1. Thanks Michael – great comparison. Do you think the QI is noticeably more forgiving? Also – is that the grip you normally use throughout the bag?

  2. I put the demo Qi10 standard up against my TSi3 and a used Stealth2 in the shop, and both TM drivers flew so much higher than my TSi3, but weren't any better on dispersion. Comparing them directly with a titanium faced driver, and they both felt like they were made of plastic. I hit one freaky high toe with the Qi10 and it went 34 yards left. I thought it was never going to land.

  3. Wow I’ve never really heard of a driver being cut down to 41 inches. Is this done just for testing purposes to get consistent strikes? Because that seems super short.

  4. I hit the IQ10 today, and I can say with the weight all the way to the draw side (in the LS) it feels a lot more stable. And I was still able to hit a draw with it so idk I got +10 ball speed from switching. I like it 100% recommend

  5. Hi Michael great review I currently have the Stealth 2 HD and love it after seeing this you just saved me 800 dollars Canadian thx lol mind you i am still looking at the new Callaways Ai Smoke and the Ping 10k but i have a feeling that i will be sticking with my Stealth 2 HD work well for this 59 year old cheers from Vulcan Canada

  6. Hi Michael one BIG problem with your reviews – they appear to be tailored for YOU and therefore yes I agree what a great drive you can hit but it does not help me. Try addressing the average club golfer which would require a slow swing speed a moderate swing speed and off course your Mr wonderful swing spped

  7. Great videos on your channel. One small suggestion . . . Audio quality isn't great. Sounds over-compressed.

  8. Hej. Michael! I did what's you asked about for, subscribing your channel! But I did it already years before when i started watching yt. You should know, there are only two cha8i ever subscribed without the hope of winning golf parts like a river or a set of of irons. And that's your channel and the channel of Dan Hendriksen. Till today i gets what I expected always from you, s neutral, fair and competent review of golf parts. It seems that'll your intention is true information and not smelling a hyped product or brand. Thanks therefore! But i hope the day is will comeback ans i win a set of nice looking bladed irons on any yt channel – maybes you do some days a give away video? Such a event brings subscribers, also celebrities like Robbie Williams; but that's no your style I think…. Cheers! All the best for you and i hope you get much more followers and subscribers because you deserve it.

  9. 0:41 41 1/4" in length? Did you perhaps mean 45 1/4" length? OK, you did correct this in comments to 45 1/4" As I thought. Nice review as always.

  10. All about Fake!!! Check your own video from last year. Stealth2 vs. TSR2. And compare the Stealth2 results from 2023 like for like 2024 . Honestly i cant believe this. You loose a lot of performace in one year Michael.??? Really???

  11. Suggestion: to try an external microphone (not connected to your jacket). The ruffling sound is pretty jarring when you cut to it.

  12. Seems you lost a lot of distance with the TM compared to the Ping, Staff Dynapower etc. Another hyped up Ho hum TM product……

  13. Great review. Proves that the only difference in golf club’s these days are the millions that are put into the marketing campaign.

  14. The impact sound off qi10 is so much more outstanding then stealth, very surprising
I thought stealth would be half decent at least

  15. Al stick with the stealth 2 drver do you think that the company s are bringing clubs out far too much 🤔

  16. I have hit both. Qi10 is clearly more forgiving and generates slightly more ball speed. Qi10 looks better too.

  17. as a data nerd I'd love to see some additional data points like AOA, the spin rates seem a touch high for a 9 degree core head

  18. I’d still put my Rogue ST Max up against anyone. Paradym was a rogue ST with a paint job and stupid people still went out and spent $200-$300 more for the same exact driver!!! 😂😂😂

  19. I'm still playing the Sim 2 Max. I see the same characteristics as you see with the Qi10 in that off center strikes can spin up quite a bit. Makes for a bit more dispersion than I'd like. Not seeing that the Qi10 is going to be a substantial improvement.

  20. Thanks your your honest revieuw. Makes clear that i am keeping my stealth2, i see no reason to change it to the QI10.

  21. Thanks for your review, watching it (and others I’ve seen) would suggest there would be little if any benefit in upgrading from my Stealth 2 to the Qi10.
