We so privileged to host the Ninth Annual Louis 57 Foundation golf day at pinle point I think over the years because it’s well organized and and people from all over South Africa sporting CBS uh they all year they had a long year at the office so everybody is
Relaxing and I’m in such a Scenic and iconic pinle point and obviously because of Lou is such a nice guy and and we doing a lot of good work so it’s very popular on on on the charity calendar of the year it’s it’s our biggest event fundraising event that we host annually
Amazing initiative you know and that’s why we are you to support that you know every sort of small part we can play to to to to help and you know make people’s lives better it’s it’s amazing and uh yeah for me it’s just you know great to
Be here and hopefully play some some good golf yeah I think it’s always nice to be a supporter of Charity and uh you must try and give back where um sport has been very good to us and uh whenever you can return the favor we must do it
It’s always a a big date for me in my calendar and uh definitely I will be here next year as well for all the guys and the organizations for today what a lovely day here at mle by at Pinnacle we’re just enjoying the day and just giving back just thanks a lot to
Everyone uh with the organizing just incredibly well done it’s been a beautiful day on the course and uh golf has been going really well thanks to pedri and the guys for everything they did today um wonderful weather we can’t ask for better weather and uh yeah we
Are by standard Banks stall today and they’ve done a awesome job for us so yeah great golf hopefully we can keep on playing like this we always come down here on holidays so to play in this golf day is such a great day and with the
Weather today I’m sure it’s going to be a a blast a lot of uh sponsors involved every year the network of of sponsors growing year by year um ping is our main sponsor of the day for the prizes so thank you to Ping South Africa then obviously Standard Bank we doing a lot
Of other projects um with standard bank and then uh you’ve seen a lot of wet holes on the course um so everybody is joining and and having fun you know we got lot of lots of projects going on we got the feet together schem with Princess Charlene’s Foundation of Monaco
And and lots of other things that’s happening um Standard Bank has been really good with projects we’re doing with local schools there um so you know it’s been it’s been a real um eye opener for how people want to get involved and help and um I hope the guys just have a
Good good fun day at Pinnacle yeah we’ve been involved with the Louis 57 Foundation now for the past 5 years and for the past year we’ve really been involved with with the foundation where we’ve arranged of golf day and uh we we’ve also been involved with this golf
Day for the past 5 years throughout Co we’ve also been been involved um to because we’ve we could see that the brands can connect with each other and uh we’re also building our brand in In the Garden Route and K as Standard Bank and that’s why we want to be involved
With the foundation and also with a golf day like this and it’s all for the Good Good Charity that we can also support and uh we just want to say thank you for that we can be involved with it uh Foundation 57 has four uh registered beneficiaries leol land Academy which is
A special needs school for kids diagnosed with autism and down syndrome then we supporting uh kids with cancer then also which is very close to our hearts is a feeding program which we do in this region I Papa 57 we also obviously because of Lou golf have a well-known Golf Academy Academy
57 also with the golf development program and there’s quite a few well-known guys coming from the academy like the Christo Lum Jordan dumin Martin Foster alri um po just to name a few you know it’s great to to um see these guys come through the foundation and and
Really um working hard at the game and and playing some good golf and and you know the big thing is they a great bunch of kids and um I still call them kids and they’re a little older but uh but it’s um it’s it’s a nice feeling to um
To know I’ve I’ve helped a little bit with with just getting their career on the go but you know they they good enough players they’ll they’ll definitely make it oh it’s so fun giving back and being part of Lou the foundation and the academy and everything he’s tried to achieve the
Last couple years um off the golf course so it’s a privilege for me being here a privilege for me being part of it uh enjoying Lou uh obviously he’s not here he’s playing macious but uh it’s obviously just it’s just a privilege for me to be part of what he’s U what he’s
Doing the course Louie and and Petri and his whole team in mosay this year contributed greatly uh they not only contributing to sports stars and up upcoming sports stars golf players in our region but they’re also contributing on a social level to our community and uh over the past year they’ve been also
Involved with Standard Bank uh contributing towards one of our local schools Garden Primary School uh we in collaboration with ourselves um and other in these civil companies uh we’ve established a sports field for that school so we’re very very proud of of his contributions and plowing back into our Community
