Click into gear today uh as part of an awesome group I think we were 30 under par the three of us combined ludvig was 10 and cam was eight so uh really fun day two obviously great guys great players so um yeah it’s definitely round

I think that can sort of um you know knock off the the winter rust what clicked so well today that had in the first three days probably um my Approach play clearly was better today um I think that’s been the one thing you know especially if I look back

At my stats this week I haven’t been able to to really get the ball close to the holes I don’t know if I’ve been misjudging the wind or you know just sort of making some mental errors on on sort of Club selection what have you um

But today I kind of was a lot more dialed in with my Approach play I did I went to the range after my round yesterday and I put in a little bit of work and just sort of you know not not a new field but just sort of you know got

Back to just exaggerating the feels that I need to make my swing work the way I wanted to so I think that was an important session last night it was nice to see that kind of transfer for me today on the golf course how cool is it

To have the course record here at caloa yeah I mean listen this is a golf course that all the greats have come to all you know the the it’s the Tournament of Champions right so all the great players on the PJ tour do come here so to have

Uh you know equal lowest score in history is quite quite something and uh today was the kind of day you’d want to do it on but obviously there’s been lots of calm days here through the years and um yeah to have the opportunity I actually wasn’t sure what the course

Record was I just asked I had a p you know 35 40 footer on the last hole which I did leave short but um maybe I wish I’d have known at the time but yeah um 61 great round and um like I said something to build on now for the rest

Of the year have you played you played Wy before right yeah Wy I’m a bit more familiar with than this tournament finally enough I probably not played it many times but maybe four five five times in my career and uh really like it uh I think it’s a it’s a good old school

Traditional golf course some cross wins can play quite tricky at times um so yeah I think it’s a totally different test to to caloa last one on W what what do you like most about the the challenges it presents um as a as a golf course in general not

Just after this one um I think that it’s uh it’s sort of it’s a golf course that suits the whole field you know some golf courses are bombers paradises for example and I think that uh Wy kind of gives everybody in the field an opportunity to do well an opportunity to

Win um but I think it obviously early in the season you got to be mentally sharp uh you know Fairways are quite small Bermuda rough always presents a challenge so um and if it does if it is Breezy it’s a tough golf course so I think uh if you can come in there

Mentally sharper than the rest of the guys I think you you know you have an opportunity to do well thanks Justin cool thanks
