Start with that game Minnesota at Detroit Atlanta New Orleans Tampa Bay Carolina Seattle Arizona Chicago Green Bay Dallas Washington and Rams ners unlike yesterday’s we we have most teams that are mostly playing their guys this week so um yeah a little bit maybe more I don’t know legit start sit questions
In this game anyway Dave let’s talk about that weather sure and that uh I don’t know is it a nor Easter something it looks like there’s a big storm that’s going over the Northeast uh Baltimore and New England appear to be the two places where it’ll be the worst the

To go to the Patriots Jets game in windy snowy weather in week 18 well first off you’d be living in windy snowy weather so it probably wouldn’t be much difference for like the people who live there and 45 minutes means you probably still need like three hours to get to
The game based on how traffic goes there um right no it’ll be a 45 minute drive you you you’ll beat traffic weather I’m saying for I’m not even gonna add time to your commute like I’ll give you that it’s a 45 minute commute door Todo so that’s not even a
Big issue but it’s not nothing but I mean you said you said this when I was giving you um bleep for go for like still watching the Giants and you said you only get so many of these so I know I would go if I were a big Patriots fan

We know there’s no quarterbacks for them that already been detered in the ruled out a bunch of dudes the Rams ruled out kyen Williams Cooper cup and I believe Tyler Higby and Aaron Donald uh yeah I’m just thinking the offensive guys okay the 49ers have ruled out Christian
Mcaffrey uh Amari Cooper’s already said he’s ready for the playoffs so he’s not gonna play this week as well um the Chiefs I would assume are not going to play Pacho who’s already been on injured report this week and Miss time I would assume they’re not going to play Kelsey
Unless he’s going for his three catches to get or three 16 yards whatever it is to get to thousand yards sorry but just to simplify I think what we know is that we can’t trust any of them from a fantasy standpoint right the I would say
Of the five teams that you listed the usual guys you should plan to be without the the the tricky ones would be the guys that have incentives or milestones in the case of Kelsey he needs I think Keith said it was 16 yards away from a
Thousand um does that mean he gets a 16 yard touchdown and that’s it and that would be probably a top 10 tight end for that week um does pukan nakua need his three for 48 or whatever it is to get to his Milestone to break the two rookie
Records that he’s chasing could that be you know a 50 yard touchdown as we saw he had a you know Breakaway reception last week against the Giants you know so those are the things that you risk with some of these players that will be potentially on the field but in the case
Of the two that I mentioned they’re going to have backup quarterbacks and probably not play very much so those are the things you have to be concerned about Like Beckham to me is a tricky one because he’s got a lot of money on the
Line if he if he if he’s able to reach his incentives but why would they risk playing him he’s Mis practiced for for a good portion of this week already so those are the ones that you say I don’t even care like if they go off fine I’m
Just not taking the risk of of trusting those players yeah and then the other one I wanted to bring up was this report from NBC Sports Washington about the commanders JP Finley just you know he just say he was getting Vibes that the commanders could be resting some players
This week so uh any thoughts on that they want the number two pick yeah that’s very possible let’s see who has it now uh they have it now okay so if they lose I mean after watching penck why would you not want it oh I don’t I mean is he really gonna

Back um khil Herbert has a back issue he’s been great the last two weeks so we’ll keep an eye on that must start guy if he plays Y and Alvin cha still out so I think right now you got a plan for Jamal Williams against Atlanta Raheem moer still out of
2023 oh actually I guess he didn’t score an all 2023 be his first touchdown of 2024 there you go uh moer did not practice right still out most are still out yeah and he so he’s tied with mcaffry neither of them scored last week so yep he could he could have the touchdown

Awarding me the championship wow our league Constitution is pretty clear on scoring and it says um that uh points scored by bench players is a tiebreaker if necessary however it’s silent in regard to stat Corrections and the length of time in which scoring May retroactively be changed the website we play on says
The deadline for all weekly scoring or Stat corrections made by the system during the season is the Saturday following the week of the game in question I mean so that basically means it’s valids that correction right it matter time the yeah it is the website still lists the commissioner team as the
Winner and Champion despite the stat correction showing the result as a tie what should I do accept the win offer to split the pot what would you do we’re a tight group of friends playing together since 2006 the commissioner is a great guy I’d like to shout out Dave Brown for

Out uh he’s a good Flex I mean you saw 19 carries and four catches last week and that was in the game where chimra actually started so he’s probably looking at you know 15 to 20 touches they should be playing with the lead uh again has not scored a touchdown All
Season which is amazing after leading the NFL with 17 last season so we’ll see if he’s able to find the end zone this week uh you you mentioned this yesterday we’ll see if Kendry Miller maybe gets some action if he’s healthy but that’s hard to count on at this point so it’s a
Must one game for the Saints I would assume that they’re going to lean on their veteran as much as they possibly have to if Kamar is not there and then there’s always the TM Hill factor maybe he gets a little bit more involved but I think Jamal Williams is looking at 15 to
20 touches that makes him to me a safe Flex option for this week that’s where I have him is in that Flex range more so in nine and half and full PPR uh I still feel like the Saints offense wants to run it through Derek Carr and so that
Makes me a little less excited about Jamal Williams who’s really been first of all limited play all year and then he really just hasn’t been good when he has played um would you start Jamal Williams if C is out or David Montgomery Montgomery uh Montgomery for sure Tampa
Basa Carolina start or sit Baker Mayfield Panthers allow the fourth fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks and how about this they have not allowed more than 219 passing yards Panthers here since week six starter S Baker Mayfield uh he’s a starter but not to the same level that he’s been the last
Couple of weeks I think the thing you look at is again who’s who’s avail ailable to you you know so I’m not starting uh the only one I guess I would consider would be Tyrod just because of how he’s performed and his matchup but of the backup quarterbacks the at least
The the new backup quarterbacks no I wouldn’t I wouldn’t get cute and go that route so I think just in terms of if he’s gotten you to this point and you’re in a league that doesn’t have quality players available like Derek car should be better um Gino Smith for example
Should be better if he was but in in the case of Baker you’re just hoping that a is healthy and B he can perform well but I think Rashad white goes nuts in this match right he has a $1 million contract incentive if the Bucks win the NFC
South he also has smaller incentives if he finishes in but that doesn’t matter how he plays I mean it just matter right no no it’s the smaller incentives like he’s got to finish top 10 in like a bunch of different categories and he’s already like in the top 10 he’s just got
To stay there I would imagine it’s a 200 yard two touchdown type game so low ceiling High floor for Baker and he was turnover PR last week too so it wouldn’t be surprising if it’s 200 200 two and two I was watching last last I watched
Uh I was watching Mike Evans I just want to see like what’s is this guy how is he doing it he’s just so good but uh man what a baker Mayfield was pretty bad I’d say for the first three quarters he was on fire in the end the fourth quarter of
That game and I forgotten he had that deep ball to Trey Palmer they were driving for another touchdown down and if he didn’t stumble I mean he maybe could have scored on the play and then he ended up fumbling and losing the ball uh he just like went to the ground and
And fumbled I mean week 17 was kind of a blur for me but they got they got pushed around by uh the Saints and that hasn’t happened to them very much lately they really erupted in the in the fourth quarter and they ended up losing I think
By eight but um you know they had that drive that could have ended up in points if not for the Palmer kind of unfortunate fumble when he was just running by himself and falling down anyway uh Seattle’s at Arizona is the starting Seahawks running back we assume
It will be Ken Walker going to have a huge game against Arizona if it’s shanet by himself then I think there’s a chance if it’s Walker then you don’t know how they’ll split the touches again the fact that Walker’s hurt is is clearly a problem for what we’ve seen
From him the last couple of games I think the thing that you know is a little alarming to me and this this maybe goes into next season to is p Carroll on his radio show this week said we haven’t gotten enough from our Run game and he he he spoke about that he’s
It’s not just on the running backs he said you know upfront we just haven’t been as physical and you know the things that we like to do however he explained it you know in terms of like he referenced Marshon Lynch and all those things the not not Lynch in particular
But how they ran the ball those those years and so is that a an indictment on the offensive line or more concerning is it an indictment on Ken Walker and I don’t think it is based on what he said but it’s just something to consider and
So if shbnet goes out there and has a huge game and let’s say they missed the playoffs so we don’t see anything more from them next season what does this split look like going into 2024 yeah that’s a good question Shan my question for next for this game right so
Shanet if they both play it’s gonna be a mess and there won’t be one guy that you’ll love and jam is right if Walker’s out then shanet is a must last week shanet continued to dominate on third Downs all nine other third Downs he also played all of their snaps inside the
Five so well he also played the the entirety of of the fourth quarter right because because Walker was I don’t I don’t really look at what the the splits were for them last week because Walker was was out basically almost the entire second half Walker’s always going to be
Out on in the two- minutes he’s always gonna be out on third Downs if it’s a passing down um but but he’s really dominated carry since he’s come back from the injury so I I still I I mean I feel like that’s just part of it like
Really hasn’t been a lot of times I don’t know if there’s been any maybe one or two games where both of them have been healthy and shonet’s had a lot of carries it just doesn’t really happen so I wonder if Walker gets you know 15 plus
Carries if he’s if he’s playing oh if he plays this week he’s the one you should rely on if you have to make a decision on the two because that’s just kind of how this rotation as you said has has operated plus it’s a great matchup to
Run against you know so the Cardinals while they’ve given up receptions to running backs we really haven’t seen the the pass catch role there when except when they’ve been chasing and so that was what the case was last week they were chasing points so I think the case
Would be for this week Walker plays still a number two running back on the low IDE Walker out Shan is a borderline number one running back for me like I I like him that much he’s he’s a top 15 guy well he’s just gonna get the opportunities right great match yeah
Okay Chicago’s at Green Bay Dave what the heck do we do with the Packers wide receivers you have to wait until uh You’ got the practice report all settled but if if Reed plays he’s the best one of the bunch he’s a number two wide receiver I think Watson would be a boom
Bus Flex I don’t see how you could feel good about dobs if they’re if Reed and Watson are both playing and then you scrap all the rest if Watson ends up not going then you move dobs up but to me Reed is the best receiver that they have

Addison was last yeah what’s the difference between Dell and Addison just out of uh dell was at 15 points per game so he was the the best uh Reed and rice were almost neck and neck at like 13 and a half in that range one was slightly
