Good yep um brenon overall how did you kind of characterize the week yeah I guess I was just knocking the rest off uh came out a little hot and then had some struggles on the weekend but I usually look back and say uh did I drive it well you know use my
Wedges well and Putt well and I had a really bad putting day Saturday and a really bad driving day today and otherwise I played great what was maybe the difficulty at the driver today um you know just you make bad swings that’s really all there is to it and the
Fact it didn’t didn’t come all the way didn’t didn’t make it all the way home yeah exactly um next week Sony obviously completely different place than than than caloa what are the challenges that you enjoy maybe obviously are quite different than this what do you enjoy
About Yi so much well I think it uh it requires accuracy off the tea and um Elite wedge play because when you do get the ball in the Fairway uh with a wedge in your hand you need to make birdie because the scores are pretty low over
There so uh you know it’s a flat walk as well um and so after this week you know it’s just a couldn’t be more of a different golf course and you know it suits my game you hitting driving it straight and accurate short iron play
And putting does it helped to go play a course that’s so drastically different like that after playing caloa well you know we’re over here in warm weather with pruta grass and wind and so those are you know the three things that we take next week and I think the guys that
Played here um have a distinct Advantage from uh having those those three elements versus coming out of the cold or wherever you’re live in um so yeah I mean I think everybody that played well here that’s going to Sony is going to be in a great spot I was fascinated by your Georgia
Football stuff the other day thank you for that uh when you see Chris out there in the lead uh how much fun is that for you personally yeah I guess you’re really excited you know I played with him the first two days and he played played so well you know he’s he’s coming
Out of the gates really strong now at least two years in a row he usually always plays well at Sony Open and last year he uh played really well I guess he finished second last year so um you know just another great start here in Hawaii
For him and um gosh I guess he was six under again today through 11 so he’s playing well and he’ll have a good chance to finish it off how much do you like uh obviously it’s great to be here it means you’ve done well right how much do you like
This golf course you know for the the way it the golf course is well it’s a fun Golf Course to play because it does gives you reachable part fives and um but for me you know it it seems a little bit like there’s a couple holes
Where off the te um you know I might hit a good drive and it runs into the rough and that’s a disadvantage for me and um you know it’s it’s pretty pretty open so I wouldn’t say it’s a golf course I look at and think I have a distinct advantage
On but um it’s always a great place to come and uh it’s a fun Golf Course to play you feel like year by year your chances get better if you come back next year yeah yeah I mean I think you keep learning about the golf course and
Learning what to do and um for me it’s just important that the plays dry and it runs kind of like it did this year thanks yeah thanks Brandon
