Allen are back live on Tuesday January 16 but over the last year or so we got some great feedback on the master classes all the videos are on YouTube on our talk birdie to me channel go and check him out but we thought we’d pull out some of the most popular ones and
Have another listen I was talking about Cory Connor earlier and his bunker shot and how he decelerated on his bunker shot on the last hole he did get away with it though he had to tough two down the slope and uh at the national John lyus he had a
Wonderful bunker shot on the last had the ho hold it to try and force a play off with with Tom power horn but the whole idea about the bunkers in this master class is acceleration you were talking earlier Mark about acceleration that Brad Hughes loves to talk about in
The golf but in bunkers it’s so important obviously you need to set up correctly a little wider stance hands point at the belt buckle don’t get the hands pointing forward or get any sha length because we want to expose the bounce knees bend a little bit bit more
But then on the back swing and the follow through want a little bit more his wrist hinge Gary Player he likes to talk about Set uh lighting the match I don’t if you’ve ever heard that T through the ball he’s lighting the match he’s really accelerating through the
Ball and then following through I think most golfers out there that do play in your local courses tend to decelerate because they’re worried about hitting the ball too far don’t worry the club open the face up expose the bounce nice acceleration through the ball follow through and I guarantee you’re going to
Hit much better bunker shots and the ball will get out and hopefully not go over the other side of the green you might even get a little bit of with some acceleration indeed which is the a a dream oh yeah yeah they dream about it
I’m going to post a video a little later on about how to do all that as well Beautiful niiko Hearn and Mark Allen they’re back on Tuesday January 16th for another big year of talk birie s we’ll see you [Applause] then
