Excited today for you to share a little bit more about you and your story so that other people can understand more who you are um I’ve had the privilege of getting to know you and you’re more than just a beautiful face um you’re a woman that has purpose and heart and an
Amazing mom and um just giving back in the community and so it’s an honor for for me to represent you and to have our company behind you um so today I just want wanted to uh kind of go into a little bit more about you but first off
Will you tell everybody what you do and um what are your titles yes of course and thank you so much for that I mean I don’t think there’s anything easier than being interviewed by my own manager so this is great I feel good uh but thank
You again uh so first and foremost I am a mother um I’m also a luxury real estate agent for the appenheim group in corono delar um I’m also a speaker I talk about my story and I’m a coach so Kayla some of your coaching um what are some of the things
That you help people with um tell us some of those Services yeah so I think the best term really is I’m a transformational coach I basically help people through personal development going through their mental illnesses overcoming adversities and relationships wow I love that where do we sign
Up we all need this and I I think it’s super important too especially when you’re in business as well cuz that all ties in at the end of the day so um transformational is definitely the best term I love that and you’ve been really moving forward with your speaking which
Is awesome um so I know you’re starting to speak on bigger stages and you are open as a keynote speaker which is great um so I think that people are going to love to hear your story today and we’re going to we’re going to dive into that
Soon but before we do that um you mentioned your a luxury real estate agent so um how did you come into this like did you a lot of people struggle to find their their purpose and what they’re going to do and a job um tell us
About that process how did you come to want to become an agent well I sure did not wake up and said I’m going to be a real estate agent or I don’t think any of us are really born to think that we that’s what we want to do unless of
Course you’re born into um a family that is in real estate and that’s what you’ve known your whole life but um I my first career was 10 years of being in the beauty industry so I started off as a cosmetologist I did hair I did makeup and then I adventured into Barb
Being a barber um and that was fun and great and everything but as a single mom with no other provider um it it was I loved it but I needed more I needed to make more and I knew that I was met for more and there’s no one in my family that’s
Involved in real estate at all so it was something that I stumbled upon through my highend client hair clientele and they were you know doctors and lawyers and Real Estate Investors and and they all kind of told me the same thing like putting that seat in me like
You should check out like real estate I’m like I don’t even own a laptop how am I going to do that you know like it was so Random sure so I just decided one day to get my license and just see where it goes and I just continued I got my license
And then um I uh assisted for a top producer and then I learned from there and I realized I’m actually really good at this wow I love this yeah and I and I think it really comes down real estate just is basically relationships I was always very good with people I always
Like had that passion for people and helping people and transforming lives really of course I’m doing it on a much higher level but I just didn’t know even while I was doing hair I became a therapist too wow hearing all their stories and helping them guiding them
And it just through hair I realized whoa I have a passion in this and then that’s what led to real estate wow yeah and then you got on with a huge group right tell us a little bit about that like who you’re practicing your agent with you
Know agency with yeah so um I started at one brokerage before I joined the appenheim group so that brokerage was great it was more of like where I obviously you know learned and I had mentorship and you know I was doing really well I was the only woman in the
Office for a very long time it was in San Clemente California so the very Southern of Orange County and I loved it um but I noticed that I was in a smaller Fishbowl and I realized that I was growing and I wanted to get into the luxury world and they basically said oh
No no no no you shouldn’t do that you shouldn’t go into the luxury World they were trying to tell me that people on that first it’s it’s way too competitive um basically saying there’s no room for me um the other thing was the the people are different and I’m just
Like I don’t know what that means but I still want it and so I just knew that I was growing in as too small of a fishable and so stumbled upon the appenheim group and I realized there’s no ceiling and so um I mean now I have a my biggest listing
Which is 28 million so I think I’m 28 million that’s awesome now do you just do Luxury real estate or do you also help people like of all different you know like pricing for the homes and range like what kind of a range no and I and I think that is a common
Misconception with a lot of people especially um you know of course the show but we’ll get into that but um because it is a luxury brokerage no I mean I just few months ago I just closed on um a 500,000 no $600,000 condo in lagona Hills awesome so it’s just
Like the number the paychecks are great when you’re in the 2820 million properties is great but it’s it’s for me personally everyone’s different the Fulfillment comes from helping families and the majority of families can only afford a million 2 million 3 million and that’s really the bread and butter the
Luxury is great and it it’s it’s fun um but it’s it’s it’s not as fulfilling as like you know so I do I do do both I love that and it goes back to your heart which is to help people and so helping families like you said of all different
Price ranges I think that’s really good um so let’s talk about the exciting part of you going from you step into real estate and then you get this incredible opportunity to be on a hit reality show selling the OC and um tell us about that how did that happen yeah long story
Short um they found me on Instagram and I thought it was spam so I was like okay whatever you know like I didn’t take it serious and then they eventually found my email and the bottom of the email had their signature and it was done and done
Productions and I googled it of course and I was like this is real yeah wow this is real what and I was so confused cuz like I heard of selling Sunset but I’ve never watched it yeah so um initially like when they asked me I asked them do I need to leave my
Brokerage to join the show they said yes and I’m like I’m not interested because I’m so loyal sure and I was like I’m not going to leave them yeah and and but then as time went on cuz this was during covid time so everything was like super
Delayed and stretched out so I didn’t know this but I had time to think about it and as time went by things started happening at my brokerage that I knew it was time for me to move on and so I was like you know what Let
Me Entertain this let me let me see what happens so I did and it was a long process and long story short I found out later that there was tens of thousands of agents that interviewed and they only chose nine and I was one of them yay I
Love it meant to be it me to be it was crazy so now you get on this show and it’s pretty crazy and um people who have seen it know you know it was um had a little bit of drama um a little bit yeah
What was it like being or what is it like cuz you’re still filming and you’re still on the show as a main character how um what is it like what are the highs what are the lows that’s a loaded question um highs I would say um first of all it’s
Once in A- lifetime experience it it was so new and it was so fun and regardless of the drama and everything else going on at the end of the day it is so fun cuz it’s such a different experience and you learn things about yourself and about the industry and it’s just like
It’s fun and then I also had so much fun with like my outfits and stuff some of them I’m like oh yeah I killed it some of them I’m like I did not think that through but it but it’s it was fun and and I stepped into the
Lowe’s um is as a grown woman I have never been surrounded by an environment that is so dramatic and kind of toxic in a way yeah um so it was me going in with my natural state of like we’re all GNA be friends and we’re all gonna get along
And I love you and I was so like open and and ready for this new experience and come to find out a lot of the cast members are not like that are not like me they’re not real they’re not authentic like myself so it was it was
Like me trying to learn to navigate and being in a sense kind of forced to be around certain personalities that I would never put myself in or around in real life so it was learning to navigate through that um but honestly even though that that was just
Like a low it I learned from that and I Grew From that sure um and learning to uh not take things personal um season one I I got it was tough I mean I’ve never had a group of girls bully me like that ever um not even like in cool like
That kind of says a lot about them but anyways um but I think learning to not take things personal and just staying true to myself and just really just not caring you know I think season one I I think all of us in a sense cared so much
Because we were so um I think a lot of us kind of had a wall going into it because it was scary for a lot of us and it was new I think even season 2 and season 3 I could tell that we’re more like comfortable in who we are and our
Characters on the show and and really stepping into that sure now obviously on the show you guys are all selling real estate and um you’re really shining and you know ringing the bell and selling houses and like you said you’ve got this big house right now 28 million but what
Would you say like why would people want to you know hire you as an agent as opposed to all the rest of them on the show okay so that’s a great question I think my hard work really goes a long way um my authenticity and my true
Genuine want to serve other people and make them happy um a lot of people on the show I will be honest a lot of them were given their business a lot of them were given their business and I was never given anything and I think that really
Sets me apart from them because um not all of them but most of them um I think that sets me apart because there’s just something about someone that is not given anything ever but they will bend over backwards and more to make sure that you’re happy and the transaction is
Done correctly and gets across the Finish Line yeah yeah well I think that goes right into you said you know you weren’t given these properties and it also goes into the next question that I have for you in the sense of you weren’t really given much in life either and you
Had to do things um on your own um even being a single mom at a very young age now I know the story but would you mind kind of diving into that right now and just tell us a little bit about what happened what was your childhood like
And um that experience that you had getting you know being a young mom yeah so my childhood that’s that’s a book in a movie but I’ll give you kind of Cliff Notes um it was tough it was really hard um I had two different households um
With my dad and my stepmom and then my mom that me and my sister would go back and forth and it was the Christian household but I’m just going to say that kind of the hypocritical Christians where they tell you we go to church every Sunday they talk about God and not being
Judgmental and all the things but when we’re home that’s all that was happening I was just being judged and punished for even speaking and it was just that was tough and then I had my mom and she was basically the Antichrist like she didn’t believe in God but she believed because
Her question was well if if there’s a God then why does all these bad things happen to good people and that was her way of looking at life and it was a very dark household she did drugs she was into alcohol um I’ve I’ve witnessed things that I should have never
Witnessed um as a little girl I had my first cigarette my first drink when I was five it was very dark and so going back and forth between these two different households at a very young age I learned how to lie I’ve learned how to cope and suppress my feelings and I
Couldn’t speak to either or cuz no matter what I say or do it I will get in trouble and um I kept everything inside and then I was going through this with my sister my sister that that’s that’s a different story that I won’t share but
We were I was also in a sense kind of protecting her and she was the older one wow so I’ve always had something stronger in me I’ve always had a voice voice in me and that pissed off my mom so she would say things to me that you should
Never say to your daughter and it was just a t of War my entire childhood life it was it was tough then I started kind of seeing the light in high school um my mom kind of started going away at a very at 10 years old I
Actually um yelled I got fight with my mom and I said I want to live with my Dad so me and my sister split my sister was living with my mom and then I was living with my dad so peace more peace started coming into my life when that
Happened but in high school that’s when Freedom started rolling in and I started kind of smelling the flowers I’m like dancing at school and really coming into my own and then at the age of 17 I got pregnant and um my parents did not accept that and being Christians they
Didn’t want an abortion so they said to find an adoption family and um stay home or keep your baby and leave and as a 17-year-old sheltered girl growing up the way that she has how where am I going to go first of all second of all
How am I going to do this being a single mom yeah um you’re still a child to child having a child right so I did find an adoption family it was someone at my high school and um 7 months pregnant something very empowering came over I didn’t know what
It was at the time but now I’m that I’m older and wiser it was the power of God the love of God basically saying you’re going to keep him we’ll figure this out so I just came to my parents and I said I’m keeping my son wow and they Bas I
Don’t remember much after that cuz I feel like more trauma are rolling in but they all I remember is they just say okay and they put me in the car and they take me to a shelter and they basically sign me off oh my gosh yeah so traumatic yeah
So um and then I think a lot of people hear my story but they don’t know really what happened with the with the father so I go to the shelter but when you’re a minor living in a shelter and your parents sign you off they still have
Legal rights over for you so they didn’t allow me to to visit anybody or have anyone visit me except for them and my sister of course they’re not going to come and visit me right so my sister just turned 18 she too was sheltered her whole life right we kind of had a
Similar um up upbringing um so she was out just living her life and I had to call her and convince her hey please get me from the shelter I need to go to my son’s father’s house and tell him what happened I literally disappeared none of
My friends it was a summer going into my senior year I didn’t have a phone no one knew what happened to me I just disappeared um and so I show up to his house I think weeks later um I can’t remember the time frame so I show up to
His house he opens the door and I’m like my parents keep me on the house I’m living in a shelter and for me how I look at it is I just lost my entire family and I don’t have anyone else so I looked at him and said let’s get married let’s
Do this family thing I’m 17 wow and I was like basically screaming yeah help sure and he looked at me and he started crying which I thought was like happy tears turns out he looks at me and he says I’m getting married and she’s pregnant and from that moment
My my my I just there’s not I don’t even remember how I got back to the shelter like I’m I’m wow that’s like I hit it just the trauma just it was bad it was really bad um and it’s like rejection everything abandonment was the biggest
Thing for me it’s like no one loves me I’m not worthy um and I just I didn’t have anything um except for my son but I also started um you know the mental illnesses were happening since a younger age but everything just started like compounding yeah yeah and then um eating disorders
And then I I couldn’t eat and the doctor said you will lose your child if you don’t eat wow and I forced myself to eat because of course I didn’t want you know and I was just I just remember being on automatic and um I was just existing and
My soul was gone and then on my 18th birthday well 4 days after I turned 18 I had my son and the rule was you go back home for a couple of weeks after you have her baby and then you go back to the shelter so I did that I don’t even
Remember staying with my parents um I think I shut the whole world out sure and then um because I was no longer a minor I then was transferred to another shelter in Orange and I was 18 and all the women there were in their 30s and 40s so they treated me like
Their little daughter or your little sister and they showed a lot of love but I was still just trying to get through it yeah so you bounced around from this these shelters with a baby and wow and then well doesn’t stop there my gosh I mean
We’ll we can get deep into it later but um and then you know shelters don’t last forever right and then I was homeless because long story short I moved in with some people that I shouldn’t have and um it became abusive drug use wow physically abusive and then that’s when
I said I’m done I can’t do this anymore and I let that go and I was literally live sleeping in my car in the streets of sanana with Jordan in the back seat and just fall and I was too prideful to call my parents because the last thing I
Wanted to hear was I told you so and I’m like I’m going to figure this I’m going to figure this out I made a choice I have to figure this out and so um I mean I called my Thea kcha which doesn’t doesn’t know a word of English and I
Just basically tell told her like let me stay with you just for let me give me some time to find a place move all my stuff to her house next morning I wake up my stuff is gone my own family’s friends like literally robbed me so everything I ever owned was
Gone it was bad and then um from there I just started renting rooms from Craigslist and I’m not even going to get into my experiences with that cuz it was very dark can imagine but when you’re someone that is Young and looks like me and is
Single mom you know yeah I mean I’ve dealt with sexual harassment being robbed several times and it was just really hard oh my gosh Kayla I’m sorry that you first of all like had to go through all this it’s really that’s really difficult and a lot for one
Person to be able to handle emotionally um how did you get through all this I mean your strength to keep going and like look at you now and for people who maybe are watching and are going through some of these very similar situations you know struggling financially or um
You know whether they’re young or single moms or um you know being abused in the relationship anything like some of the things you went through I mean what got you through and and how and how are you getting through now oh my goodness um well it was a
Process yeah um I think it still is I think all of us you know will’ll never be obviously perfect we’ll always I think everyone needs to accept that life is a journey and you have to learn to fall in love with that journey of of learning and peeling back layer after
Layer after layer because it never ends and it never will but that’s okay um well first off the first and foremost thing that I needed to do was heal and when you are in a situation like myself where you only have yourself and a child that you’re trying to
Raise you have to go through the healing process yeah what does that look like it was I didn’t really start healing until I stumbled upon spirituality that’s when I opened this Pandora box of a whole new world I never knew about I didn’t understand what that
Meant so I was like what is this and I it really it got me to a point where I hit rock bottom and I think sometimes people have to hit that Rock Bottom where you become so like desperate where you’re finding like something needs to change Y and
When I realized that that that needed to change was within me the whole time that’s when my life turned around I had to isolate myself um and it and that was in itself was so difficult because I was so desperate for just to be loved and
Find love and have love and just someone just accept me please just accept me sure when you’re coming from that place your whole life being isolated is the scariest thing in the whole world and I just I had to be isolated and I had to look within and I know that sounds like
Oh foooo it’s so true because everything that I was searching for the happiness The Joy the love the acceptance everything was all in myself the entire time and that in itself is like for anyone to wake up and understand that that selfawareness it’s like unfortunately that doesn’t happen to
Everybody so when you when that hits you yeah it’s time to go to work and that’s when I started isolating myself reading books um and here’s a crazy part I didn’t it wasn’t until later in my life then I got therapy but for anyone listening to this get therapy that that
It took me too long to get into therapy because my whole life my parents basically said like you need therapy like you need help there’s some there’s something wrong with you and so I looked at therapy as I’m accepting the fact that I’m crazy and there’s I’m such a
Flaw like I’m so messed up in the head I’m never going to go to that but even the best people in the world go to therapy totally you know what I mean so it’s like absolutely um and then and then surrounding yourself with the right people I was surrounded by the wrong
People for too long and um that’s super important having that support system sure um and and God and something happened to you like you had kind of a a moment right like an encounter can you can you tell us about that I know it has to do with your faith
And with god what happened the one that I told you recently yeah oh my God it was so powerful so when you think you’ve like done a lot of work there’s always more there’s always more to do exactly and I think it was God shaking me and said you’re ready for
What I have next for you and so um he spoke to me one night and um I just closed my eyes and I was just sitting in my bed and I was just sitting there in silence and he basically showed me my future and it was so beautiful and I saw
My husband I saw my house I saw so many beautiful things and then I started crying because I started crying because he was showing me what I can have but then he was showing me that I’m not going to get this if I continued to live the way that I was
Living and the way that I was living was without him wow so that the next very next day wow I had I was I literally went on the beach cuz that’s where I really ground myself and I was like I I’m committed I am committed and since
Then s 723 wow he has been opening so many doors for me and I just I want to cry thinking about it because it’s like I love this it’s powerful he’s amazing and it’s like he’s so forgiving and this whole time he’s been protecting my son
And I even when I didn’t know it understand it or believe in him and the crazy part is that he’s always had a relationship with my son I would put him in Christian school cuz I knew there was an importance with that wow because if
He does if my son doesn’t have a father at least he needs a heavenly father so I knew like he and he would go to church every weekend I didn’t I would stay home I would mostly sleep because I would be working so much but and my son was
Non-judgmental and my son’s godmother that came into our lives was non-judgmental and she would basically say you’ll you’ll come when when you’re ready you’ll be ready and I was like yeah okay and then and it was until really recently I realized oh I’m ready it’s amazing what
Happens I think when you surrender you know and so many people I feel like struggle with letting go of you know some of the things that like we all hold on and we wrestle you know with that everybody’s got something right could be food could be alcohol could be sex drugs
Whatever it is and we hold on so bad and it’s like but it’s until we really let go and completely surrender and just almost like cry Uncle you know then God can come in and take over and has all of us and then it’s it’s like you’re you’re
Struggling but then once you give in to it he comes and he just like you said he Embraces you there’s no judgment he’s a father it’s like finally my daughter and my son has come home says he in the Bible it talks about that prodigal that
Came home and he puts a a robe around you and a ring on your finger and a crown and um and then look what happens I mean in your own life it’s like you got aligned back with your father in Heaven and then all of these doors start
Opening for you right in your life and now you’re you’re sharing you’re helping more people you’re using your story to empower women and um and just people all over and and I think it’s just absolutely amazing what God has done in and through your life and how you’re at
A place now to to give back um let’s talk about some of the things that you know I think you went through all this pain but now you’re at a place where you found your purpose and through the pain you really want to give back you want to
Be a light in in the world in your community um what are you doing what are some of the things that you’re doing right now and wanting to do to to give back and to help we’re going to hold that thought really quick cuz there’s something I
Want to add to the last thing you said CU I think this is really important for people to hear when I recently recommitted to God it wasn’t because I hit rock bottom and I think that’s really important for people to hear because yes people surrender to him when
They hit rock bottom that wasn’t the case for me it wasn’t until things were great for me but I felt like I was stuck and I’m just like I’m doing a lot of the things that I know I should be doing I’m I’m I’m in a really good place best financially
Emotionally mentally even physically but I can’t seem to get over this Plateau you know and then and then that’s when he spoke to me and he basically pushed me off the cliff you’re ready let’s go so I think that’s so important because it could be in any
Place in your life that that you could accept him and surrender to him it doesn’t have to be when you are Rock Bottom at your worst it could be when things are going so great but you just can’t seem to figure out why it’s not like like you know there’s more but you
Just can’t seem to figure it out it’s because your relationship good yeah really good point I’m glad you made that yeah so Kayla now that you’ve um you know experienced all of this you’ve gone through the pain you’re finding your purpose and you’re wanting to give back
Um what are some of the projects you’re working on now and what are you wanting to do oh my gosh I have such a long list but um you know I’m doing a lot more like speaking on stages and then along with my coaching um and also going to
Write a book awesome yeah that’s in the works and then um a movie love it which is huge love it um and then uh opening up a women’s shelter because coming from someone that used to live in shelters I found that there was a lot of flaws and the flaws were
Basically you know you come in you do your chores you have a curfew you follow the rules and then you know your time is up and you go into the real world so what ends up happening is these girls or women are not being taught real life lessons and working through their mental
Issues yeah so excuse me mental illnesses I don’t want to say issues because it’s not an issue it’s just an illness that you have to work through so learn teaching women how to manage money get a mortgage on a home like doing things that are actually
Going to allow you to to make it in the real world um because I’ve seen too many women come back and the shelters and and there’s just there’s that flaw that is missing from the system that I’m going to come in and change I love that and
That’s one of the main reasons that when you and I sat you know at the beginning and we were talking about working together that I said I really want to get behind you and what you’re doing because like I said you’re more than a pretty face and um you have a a great
Heart and you really want to make a difference and especially when I heard about what you want to do taking your story writing about it writing a book that can Empower women Inspire women you’re coaching you’re trying to help people um but also you know doing a
Movie and um that’s going to really be inspiring but then opening a shelter I think for women would be so incredible and I know I would be honored to to be a part of this journey with you and I’m excited I told you you know just watch and everybody listening is going to
Watch and follow you and follow your journey to see what happens and what doors God opens for you because um you know you’re you’re putting it out there now and you’re stepping into it and and knowing like who you are and your purpose and I think that God’s just

Platforms yeah but mostly Instagram mostly Instagram yeah and you’re sharing a lot more in your stories and um and bringing people into this and your journey um so my my last question which I know is the most people are going to be the most interested to know because
As your manager I get asked this all the time and on Instagram and social soci media and um it’s just a little we’re just kind of throwing it in um as an extra is um are you seeing anyone right now are you single are you in a
Relationship that’s that seems to be the question like a lot of people ask me that all the time I tell us yeah well um I’m I am single I am single yes awesome um are you wanting to be single are you wanting to be in a relationship what are
You looking for no I’ve never wanted to be single I think it’s really important um for people to also understand this you’ve heard just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to my story there’s so much more that’s why we got to write this book in movie
Um I had to do a lot of healing a lot of healing and that took a very long time I never wanted to be a single mom and I think a lot of women out there say single mom and wear it like it’s a badge of honor I don’t agree with that
Um I never wanted to be single but I think I’m definitely in a place where I’ve done the healing I’ve done the work I’m still doing it um and I’m ready I am ready to you know find find my husband I’m just going to say it find my husband I
Love it put it out there I love it and what what are some qualities that you’re looking for in hus okay’s see let me take out this laundry list just kidding sure you have a list right do you have a list um well I mean the most important thing really
Is his spirituality and his relationship with God I think that comes number one yeah that’s so important and um I think and we maybe we can go into this later or further today why not but um it’s really important for people to understand masculine and feminine energy and Me growing up the
Way that I have my entire life I was living in my masculine energy the survival mode The Protector the coping like being strong and you know suppressing my like I was just in my masculine energy and it wasn’t really until recently I realized whoa wait a minute because even though I’ve haven’t
Really been in fully committed relationships I would date but the men I was dating I realized were in their feminine energy but it’s because I’ve been in my masculine for so long the single mom the provider the hustle hustle hustle I didn’t realize that that’s what was happening and so I was
Attracting all the wrong men for so long um and it you know it finally I’m I’m in a place where I can still get stuff done in my feminine too and I think this is important for a lot of women out there single moms CEOs right owners like
Boss babes I hate that term but you know what I mean um they have this great successful career and and and they’re doing well in life but their love life is off and they can’t seem to find that man you know and um that’s also what I teach in my
Coaching the difference between masculine feminine energy and then what it comes down to what you want sorry I think this went into like a little bit of my coaching But to answer your question I’m looking for an alpha alpha masculine man strong man that will allow
Me to continue to go on the path that I’m going which is serving and helping the world basically I like to call myself the mom of the world the mom to my son and to the world I love it allowing me to still continue to do um
That but also can come to me and say you know like I got this you don’t you don’t have to work but like I I’m working because I I want to I want to be in my feminine and be able to give and and care and nurture the world um and for

This book here courage and crisis and what that verse kind of means to me and what I’ve really kind of learned and and when when Jesus kind of speaks to me in that in that verse to me is you know we have to go through trials and tribulations before we
Actually could see the light right that’s to me that’s really what that kind of means means um obviously you’re one of the most spiritual you know you’re a very powerful spiritual leader in Europe um Pastor welcome welcome to the platform welcome to the podcast thank you happy
To be here yes absolutely now talk to us you know we want to we want to we have the opportunity to have you know three different points that we want to talk about right experiencing experiencing and surpassing crisis at a young age which we’ll get into a little a little
Bit into your story um as a senior pastor and as a life coach and then understanding courage through the midst of Crisis right so we could kind of start off a little bit talk to us a little bit about your I guess the beginning of your journey as as a
15-year-old Maxim what was yes you know it’s um life was very interesting and I think that many times we can understand the purpose only in hindsight the closer we are to the problem or to what we’re dealing with currently it’s the more difficult to see the meaning behind it and it’s very easy
To when you find yourself in crisis it’s very easy to feel discouraged lost um to feel like nobody ever went through this it’s only me but you know we learn in life that most of the incredibly successful people who impacted history went through a lot of pain and
Pain is one of these things that really helps you in the long run to discover your power and your purpose so for me growing up in in the hood literally alone at 15 years old my mom had to run to another country to hide from a abusive boyfriend who almost took
Her life was an experience of really learning also to trust in God because honestly courage comes from somewhere courage is a product of faith and if a person loses faith in God or faith in themselves or faith in the good or even faith in other people uh then it’s going to be very
Difficult to be courageous courage is the ability to face your fears and to act in spite of your fears in spite of uh the opposition so I remember one night coming back home and finding that in this uh record cold winter that it was the pipe for the
Dirty the dirty pipe of the house had exploded and the whole floor was covered with fces and stuff so there am I at 15 and I had to literally shovel that thing out but the time you know it was getting darker I didn’t have electricity so I
Realized I’ll never be able to get all of it out I might as well put some snow and create a snow path to the bed where I was sleeping and I created a snow path to the bed where I was going to sleep remember laying down in that bed
Covering myself with eight blankets and just the stink of it was incredible but at that moment I was thinking about if I am really called to be the person that I believe I’m called to be this is going to be an incredible Story one day so I think that finding courage in crisis
Also has to do with looking at your life through the lens of whatever moment you’re in now it is not all your life it’s part of your life and your experience now is your story tomorrow so when you share the story one day like I’m sharing this story with you now you
Have to ask yourself the question what kind of hero am I in this play what kind of her am I in this movie called life how did I act in the midst of this crisis because life is full of Crisis it doesn’t matter if you’re an entrepreneur
Making millions of dollars that I coach these kind of people or you’re a politician or maybe you’re a celebrity people know who you are everybody goes through crisis from the single mom to the man who just bought the newest Bentley is going through some sort of
Crisis and so if this is all around us if if crisis is actually life why one big crisis all the time then we might as well learn how to live it how to act within it and how to live in a way that is really honoring to our values our
Faith and our vision so a time of Crisis is a great time to also create a vision for your life and to look for the deeper things of life to think that a large percentage of the Bible was written by a man named soul of tarses who we know as Paul the
Apostle and this onethird of the New Testament that he wrote a big part of it was written from jail wow it just gives you a perspective of what a crisis can do in your life it’s very tough for us in the Western World to understand that God’s purpose
And Providence many times comes in the form of pain and problems so anytime God wants to do something in your life he will actually allow pain and problems and for many Christians especially in the west that sounds like a contradiction because we’ve been thought about h a one-sided gospel and we think
That as soon as I believe in God all things are just going to fall into place and my life is going to be perfect but that’s not true because sometimes God will have you go through stuff he will have you go through pain and only in hindsight you can understand that this
Pain had a purpose so think about this we have a man that God wanted him to be uh the ruler of the world at his time by the name of Joseph so he posed the question how do I get Joseph from being in a tribe living somewhere in
Canaan to living in Egypt and on the right hand side of pharaoh so God created a whole plan well he’s going to be betrayed by his brothers then he has to go to prison then from prison he has to stay for three years in prison and
I’m going to call him in the third year to sit on the right hand of pharaoh but we think that oh no it wasn’t God it was the brothers or it was ptif for’s wife or it was we are trying to interpret our life as coincidence coincidence coincidence coincidence but
I like to say that coincidence is when God decides to stay Anonymous so you’re looking at as a coincidence but it’s not because Joseph looked at his brothers in uh the 45th chapter of uh the Book of Genesis and he told his brothers it was not you who sent me
Here but God God sent me here to preserve life so in hindsight he could see his life as the purposes of God in pain you know Paul the Apostle was in jail in uh 16th chapter of the book of Acts the Bible says he was thrown in
Jail in Philippi I’ve been to that jail Cale like tens of times I brought people to that place it’s close to where I live in Bulgaria it’s like three hour drive wow so to think that Paul the Apostle wanted to go one way and then the Bible
Says the spirit of Jesus did not let us go there and then he saw a vision he was on in modern day Turkey in tras and he saw a vision of a Macedonian man telling him come to us calling him he crossed from Asia to Europe and what happened the
First thing that happened Pablo was he was beaten and thrown in jail in Philippi so God had him in jail but we don’t like to think that God will allow you to be beaten and thrown in jail do you know that the most um amazing part of that
Story is not that he was in jail or that he prayed and sang with Silas in the middle of the night and the jail was shaken there was an earthquake and the Bible says all the saes were open but none of the prisoners ran none of this
Is what amazes me what amazes me about this story is that when the jail guard decided to take his own life Paul stopped him and said we are all here most Bible scholars believe that this man the guardian of the jail was the first pastor of the Philippian Church oh wow
So when you think about it God had a man or two men Paul and Silas beaten thrown in jail didn’t allow them to go and preach to another place because he wanted to call the man who was the governor of the jail to become the pastor of the Philippian church so
What I’m trying to communicate is that I learned through my life that it’s all about Jesus your story everything you do everything that happened to you everything that happened to you actually happened for you because it’s about your testimony right and if we think about the great stories of the Bible any story
That’s worth sharing had a lot of trauma in it and a lot of pain the moment the moment you realize that your pain is your testimony it becomes so much easier to process it and find meaning in it last week I was speaking at a a large
Church here in California and I called a woman and I gave her a word I said everything you went through you had to go through it because you’re going to help women now who are just like you who went through abuse well after the service the woman reached out to me she
Said I was kidnapped she said I’m a Survivor of human trafficking what you told me is so true but then I wouldn’t be the minister of the Gospel that I am today yeah if he I if I didn’t go through all of that so what I’m communicating in the book is not just
That God is using crisis many times in our life but in a very practical and um contemporary if I can use that word way how to actually create a game plan it’s like a guide book so you have to make a choice this is how you make a choice
Right you have to create a vision for your life this is how you create a vision or maybe now you find yourself I talking the book in a moment where you maybe reached a certain level of success but you’re losing the meaning you’re not you’re not finding meaning and that
Happens to a lot of my secular clients that I work with who became wealthy and achieved a lot of things but feeling they have the feeling that they’re lacking meaning in their life right so how do you find meaning how do you find your purpose how do you find the right
Partners how do you find the right um how do you find the courage yeah how do you find the courage one of the questions that I know some of the people may be listening to this they may be going through something in their life they may be going through
That crisis and they can’t find the courage MH right in your in your journey how was it that you found the faith mhm how what what was that what was that Journey like for you in terms of like when when you were going through the crisis MH right what could we give maybe
One or two nuggets to people that are going through that crisis right now that want to come back to the Lord that want to come back to the faith yeah but they just can’t well anytime you are anytime we’re talking about faith we can talk about different kinds of Faith because I
Believe there is faith in God there is Faith in yourself there is also faith in good and we have to believe in good uh or the ultimate good and there is also faith in others there is Faith in people if you just think about a a faithless
Life nobody has that right like I was sitting with a multi-millionaire who um I gifted a Bible so when I gave him the Bible because of he his respect for me he said listen I’m going to take it but everybody would think I’m crazy you know
I’m an atheist I don’t believe in God my family doesn’t believe we we actually don’t believe in anything he says he he then looked at his daughter was there he asked her and the fiance do you believe they said no we don’t believe in anything he says listen the whole region
Here we are like atheist we don’t believe in anything we grew up in communism it was like forbidden to believe and I started laughing in his face he was like why are you laughing I said look around we are sitting in a project that cost a100 million a100
Million and I said how did you decide to build this cuz he had a festar hotel wow a bunch of houses a golf course then another training golf course at the foot of the mountain beautiful place said how do you have how do you decide to do that he
Says well you know this is near where I grew up so I would come here and I would imagine I would say wow you would imagine so I see I said you would see this he said yes I would see this I said where were you seeing it said I would
See it in my head I would just see it in my imagination and I told him and you are sitting here and telling me that you don’t have Fai you don’t have faith you went and took a loan a100 million loan to build this thing and you’re telling
Me you don’t have fate we are sitting now in the clubhouse having lunch at your five-star hotel and you’re telling me that you don’t have faith do you realize that you have a lot of faith nobody has a faithless life even people who say there is no God they still have
To have faith something there’s a so when you decide to fly somewhere what do you do first you believe the website they told you they’re selling you the tickets you don’t have proof you just went in gave your card details and then they send you just a text that yes this
Is your flight time right you’re flying to to La then you saw this a boarding pass and you thought it’s true you believed you actually went to the airport then a person sitting at a desk you never met that person took your back and your belongings and you believe that
Person that he’s going to take you back to the airplane MH then you went to the airplane itself and you actually believe that there is a pilot who went to Pilot School you didn’t go and check his license you sit in the plane and you’re flying and do you realize that all of
This takes fate so even us sitting here we are believing in the chair we’re sitting in we believing that the microphone’s going to work we are believing that the cameras are running we are doing everything by faith so it’s just that if we follow the natural logic of
Fai we always come to fate in a supreme or or Transcendent or ultimate good so the faith in God is unavoidable in the world we live in today if we exclude God from the equation we’re excluding good from the equation the ultimate good if we exclude the ultimate
Good then there is no judge between good and evil if we there is no judge between good and evil then we are going into lawlessness if we’re going into lawlessness and there is no moral law of good and evil then we’re going into Anarchy and if we’re going into Anarchy
Then we’re going into complete evil and complete darkness so even the the the greatest agnostic or the greatest atheist wouldn’t believe that we all have faith so I believe though that faith has to become a matter of the heart and not just a matter of the head
For it to be effective because faith in God faith in good faith in people or even faith in yourself can be just head knowledge maybe you read it somewhere and still good but it’s not a hard thing in your heart you are doubting so Faith could be emotional Fai fate is also
Physical like is there a physical manifestation of faith of course so a person who has Faith look at me look how look how how I’m standing yeah I’m standing as a man of Fate yeah if I’m standing like this I don’t have faith so Faith you can
See it in my body right right but Faith you can also hear it in my emotion you can feel it right fate is an emotion many people don’t get that but Fai is physical faith is solish fate is emotional but the real powerful faith is spiritual it comes from your inner being
It’s a conviction and it’s a gift of God so the Bible tells us in the Book of Romans that to all of us was given a measure of Fai so there is not one person watching this podcast that doesn’t have faith because the Bible says to all of us was
Given a Measure of Faith now somebody says how much is that fate enough because the Bible says that if you have this kind of spiritual fith even if it’s as small as a master seed and a master seat is one of the smallest seats like
I’ve seen a master seity is so so small if you had such small Faith coming from your spirit you could move a mountain of obstacles and problems so that is to say that all of us have faith and all of us have more than enough Faith it’s just
That faith is not enough itself Faith needs action and I think that that’s so powerful I I know that those that those words are so powerful and that’s a way of life is a way of Faith right so on this podcast which is obviously Speak Life speaking with that faith and moving
With that power and moving with that conviction I think that that’s so massive thank you for sharing those words we really appreciate that kind of transitioning a little bit you’re also not only an author uh a senior pastor of one of the fastest growing churches in Bulgaria right but you’re also a life
Coach MH talk a little bit about the lifestyle of a life coach and also balancing that with you know being a pastor a senior pastor yeah what is that lifestyle like well you know it’s very interesting because when I was younger I would think that it’s impossible to be a
Minister and at the same time to be a business person or I could not bring together the idea of me wanting to be almost like a mother Teresa or you know loving on the poorest of the poor and helping these kind of people cuz that’s where I come from and
At the same time to be like a Nelson Mandela or H Steve Jobs or a innovator or a leader entrepreneur an entrepreneur so it was almost like I had this contradiction and that’s one of the reasons that for a long time I didn’t want to be a pastor because I thought if
I am a pastor then I could not serve people who don’t have my fate or I could not help people who are of a different opinion or whatever well then what really helped me is I found a man who was the coach of some of Hollywood’s greatest of all time and also a
Businessman an entrepreneur but a spiritual man a very powerful uh speaker a very powerful spiritual leader and evangelist so when I I saw this man something clicked in me at the very young age where I thought if he can do it maybe I can do it maybe to be a
Pastor doesn’t mean that I have to be overweight uh looking sad with a wife that is looking also very sad you know that’s like the pastors that I saw so I was thinking if I am a pastor I have to be overweight I have to live in a beat
Up House Drive a beat up car and have a beat up wife you know I’m honest so I didn’t want that because I that’s not how I imagined my life so I always imagine being an amazing father I always imagine having children having an amazing family like from my list of
Values I believe there are eight areas that are the most important areas of life I call them success areas one of them is family for me family has always been like a great priority even to this day and it was tough for me to imagine that I would be
A father and my kids they would be struggling or I couldn’t afford for them to have a normal lifestyle because that’s where I come from right I wanted my kids to have a better life than me and I couldn’t see how this would work so at some point I realized that God
Didn’t gift Joseph just to save his brothers and Jesus didn’t die only for the people that believe in him Jesus died for the world and Joseph was the savior of the age Pharaoh called him it means the savior of the world he was not called just to save the 12
Brothers and his father and his family he was called to save the devil worshippers in Egypt CU God still thought those were also his kids that’s a radical idea but it really helped me understand that if i a servant of God then I will serve to all the
Children of God and I’m a servant in the business world but I’m also a servant in the spiritual world and now I’m in a place where to me that’s no contradiction it’s no contradiction that I do business deals it’s no contradiction that I um am wealthy or
I’m uh governing a large amount of resources to me that’s part of my life and it’s a responsibility and it’s also a blessing because with much more resources we can help much more people yeah you know I always wanted to help people but when I live without electricity and running water I couldn’t
Help many people CU I couldn’t help myself right but now that you know I have a much better life I can also serve much more people give much more to charity and really push the mission of the gospel and the mission of Jesus so for example many of my secular clients
All all of them know I’m a pastor and so I always tell them when we go deeper into coaching I always tell them listen I can give you the principles or I can give you the person and the principles so what the self-help industry has done is that they took the
Principles of Jesus and the Bible like seven habits of highly effective people all of these is the Bible yeah is the principles of Jesus but they just remove the name the person because a person creates contradiction a person maybe you like them or you don’t but a principle is a
Principle right makes sense right so maybe you maybe you don’t like me so much but you might if you read my principles you might like my principles although you don’t like me because facts have no feelings as they say so I always tell my coaching clients I can give you the principle
Without the person or I can give you both the person and the principles it’s up to you and you know that’s as funny as it may sound I have some that’s said no no I don’t want the person I just want let’s go into the principles don’t
Go into religion just help me fix my marriage or help me fix my finances or help me get my organizational culture to the next level and then that’s what I do because we’re not going to take the message of the gospel and force people into believing it but do you know how
Many people uh through the years because we create Rapport we create trust they start seeing the results they see my life they see my family they see my joy and the way I am uh behind the scenes of life and they say wow I really want what
You have and then I tell them listen it’s not only the principles it’s the person of Jesus who will really transform your life and that’s why I share also in my in my book is not a tool to kind of convert or evangelize people it’s really a tool to guide you
Through your life and crisis but I also share about my faith because I wouldn’t be the man I am today if it wasn’t for God if it wasn’t for my relationship with him and if it wasn’t for really his power yeah uh and mercy on my life I
Think it’s I think it’s massive you know and guys please pick up the the book courage and crisis and and what I would say is you’re really a living embod of your core values your your core principles your core beliefs and when you’re able to now coach clients or
Coach individuals or or CEOs and entrepreneurs you know they could really see how you’re living your life you’re a living embodiment I mean you’re in great shape you have the the lifestyle right but beyond all that you have the core principles yes right now we talked about
People as well right let’s talk about characters or people in the Bible right is there somebody that you correlate with or somebody that stands out to you in terms of a character a specific character in The Bible Well I would think that I really relate to every single character in The Bible because
Every character in the Bible is Jesus and let me explain what I mean by that before people go crazy on theology here in the comment section um every character in the Bible is a type and Shadow of Jesus so if you think even of somebody who didn’t finish that well like a
Samson Samson was called to be a great deliverer and then he had a woman women’s problem we know that about him but then he dies in a very tragic way the Bible says in his death he killed and won over more enemies than during his life well if you just take that
Bible verse out of the Book of Judges that’s what Jesus did in his death he overcame many more enemies than during his 30 years of life or if you look at the life of one of my favorite Bible characters who is Joseph Joseph is a complete type and
Shadow of Jesus number one he’s betrayed by his brothers Jesus was betrayed by his brothers then he’s thrown into a pit Jesus was in the pit his blood his his clothes are soaked in blood Jesus’s clothes were soaked in blood then he sold in slavery into
Egypt Jesus went to hell and then Peter says that Jesus spoke by the spirit to the spirits in prison in Tartarus the Greek word our Bible hero Joseph was in prison in the third year Joseph Rose from prison on the third day Jesus rose from the dead when Joseph
Rose from the dead he was on the right side of pharaoh when Jesus rose from the dead he was on the right side of the father when Joseph rose from the dead Pharaoh gave him a name that is above every other name he called him the
Savior of the age when Jesus rose from the dead the Bible says he was given a name that is above every other name that in his name every knee might bow and every tongue confess and listen to that after that Pharaoh gave a gift to Joseph
He gave him a gentile wife and God gave a gift to Jesus he gave him a gentile Church his bride his wife the only part of Joseph’s life that is yet to manifest is when he revealed himself to his brothers to the Hebrew boys Israel to to
This day don’t believe in Jesus the Messiah they still expect the Savior but the Bible says they will look at him whom they have pierced and this would trigger the greatest end time Revival so every Bible character let me go further everything in the Bible is about Jesus when you go really
Deep into it so for me Jesus the God man he’s the greatest yeah we will never be like him but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t try that’s what we call sanctification the more we want to be like Jesus the more we are like Jesus we’ll never be completely like him
Because he’s the only that is like sinless blameless perfect Lamb of God but the more we strive to be like him the more we are Sanctified In His Image and and then the Bible says that one day when he comes we will be just like him
We will be transformed in a image just as his you know you’re sharing this story with me you’re sharing these words and I could just imagine the crisis that he went through yeah the crisis that all of these characters go through mhm the courage that they have to have mhm right
And I imagine myself being an entrepreneur as well sometimes we go through through Tri trials and tribulations we go through crisis right talk a little bit transitioning into again back into kind of how you started in executive life coaching yeah right H how does that practically like
Practically uh I have a small social media agency I have another business where we do uh production for people you know Studio production we do also online events and a few different things that I’m involved with I like to invest in real estate but with the coaching it was
Very natural because I started preaching when I was 15 years old so some of the leaders that I have today in my community of Awakening I have been coaching or mentoring them for over 15 years if you can believe that yeah so many of my leaders that are doing great things are
All people whom I have coached for 15 years or more and then I also had some people who are from the secular world who are just looking for help whom I helped and at some point I realized Pablo that it’s only so much time that I
Have and if I’m going to work with you for you to be much more successful in your business and you’re going to make a bunch of money out of that I might as well do it professionally and work so that your results are great but also get
Back so that I get back what I’ve swn and get a Harvest on my time because if I wanted to just do let’s say uh only Ministry then I’m doing Ministry for free 247 right but if I’m going to work with you and give you a large portion of
My life for you to become a successful entrepreneur and you’re making a bunch of money out of that then we should be partners in that business-wise so that was a trans transition that I made for many reasons one of the reasons is that you can only work with so many people so
When we talk about coaching I don’t coach like everyday people right the people I coach are either Executives or business owners or celebrities entrepreneurs singers people who are already moving at a higher level of success or that’s their vision for their life and then of course I coach so many
People for free because this book or or for $20 because this book cost like I think like 20 bucks and for 20 bucks you’re getting basically coaching with me which is like unheard of and then we have all this content that we’re doing even this talk that we’re doing um we
Are not looking to profit in any way from that but we are doing it to serve people right so I believe that we should make money invest the money in uh in good increase our resources the more we have the better and also use our resources to give back and reinvest into
Other people who are up and coming like yourself to continue the work of God because the work of God is a generational work you know many people talk uh like negatively about resources or about finances but I always tell them if you ever see a church somebody who loved God and had
Money build that church right it wasn’t built just by somebody praying yeah people actually went roll their sleeves and build it right and somebody paid the bill in the end so I like to think that I’m not only building spiritually but I’m also building materially and I’m also building people in their emotions
Wow I like it today I had a coaching call with a lady that I’m coaching she’s from Sweden and we were on Zoom talking and I asked her so when you woke up this morning from 1: to 5: how are you feeling emotionally she says two and a half
Maybe I said how do you feel now after our coaching call she says five wow so to me I want to serve people Spirit soul body and Bank in every area of life that’s beautiful that’s I’m sure we could sit here for hours we can continue
