Well Frank Rocko was one of the fastest modifi in practice earlier in the afternoon and now he comes into the chors light SK modified 100 an event that he’s done pretty well at he’s solid in extra distance events and tonight they think their car is very good the
Reason he likes these races he says because I can get to the front be patient in my way getting there and it’s always the good guys that get up to the front so the cream always rise to the top and what a better opportunity to determine the 500th feature event winner
Of the 500th event here in SK modified competition and then do it in this special extra distant event Frank Rocco thinks he’s the guy who’s going to go to car Victory Lane at the end of 100 it started back in 1982 when Charlie Savage was the champion then Bo gunning wanted
An 83 Jerry Pearl an 84 in 85 Wayne Dion in 86 and Ted Christopher won his first sk title back in 1987 so Christopher with seven titles he is starting in the top 10 in ninth position so now it all started back in 1982 for the 500th time
The SK modifies are getting ready to Roar at the Stafford Motor Speedway let’s go to the man who has brought you the finishes of most of the first 499 the voice of the Safford Motor Speedway B Dodge well it was jackar Root’s dream but it was more than that it was an
Inspiration it made promoters it made competitors stand up and pay attention to what Stafford did as an industry leader ladies and gentlemen the SK modifies are about to go green on the 500 start for SK modified racing from the Stafford Motor Speedway we’re green and racing it what a start on the
Outside for Brit Anderson as he took everybody by surprise roaring way into the lead down the backstretch Britt Anderson overcomes Josh Sylvester to take the lead Jones is right there in the third spot here comes Malave we haven’t heard much from him in recent weeks but he’s looking racy already he
Says he’s had a great car not great walk in fifth place is Todd Owen leading on him is Dan Avery at car number 10 they rocket their way to turn number three look at Josh Sylvester making an aggressive move to take over the lead Josh Sylvester BEC trouble and turn
Three three cars pile up against each other literally up on top of one of the cars looks like an SK modified totem pole underneath the Car Quest sign it is the Gallow machine that won last week on top of Frank ruk’s car and then there is
A third car involved as well and we believe that the third car is perhaps the 20 machine so it is the 20 car we’re being told now and that of course is the burill race car and we’re not sure what happened there is a ton of fluid on the
Racetrack but what a difference one week wow has made for the Gallow operation those are three of the heavyweights in the division right there Gallow and Rocco have won races this year and baral has come close on a couple of occasions so let’s see what’s going to happen as
They head off turn number four the field is doubled up paired off in rows of two like Gladiators about ready to go into the arena center stage the green is out and the leader of the pack Still Remains down at turn number one car number 70 for Brit Anderson but look out here
Comes Josh Sylvester High wide and handsome down the backstretch Anderson looks like an arrow being shot out of a bow on the outside Josh Sylvester can he make it work on the High Grove in the Stafford Tundra Chris Jones is a factor as he pesters the back bumper with the Brit Anderson
Car down the backstretch they are wheel tohe and side by side it is a battle for the lead Sylvester running strong in the outside Lane meanwhile Here Comes Malave he goes to the outside of the Jones machine and Dan Avery also coming to the front of the field car number 10 a Josh
Sylvester wears him out and takes over the lead a Malave still there with Jones Here Comes Owen and Avery meanwhile Woody pitkat among the top 10 cars car number 40 priest is also coming to the front with that number 40 car well malav is all over Chris Jones like chocolate
On a clondike bar as they head down the backstretch oh trouble now Owen goes around in front of pitkat spins and pitkat becomes the victim of circumstances a chain reaction Zack Sylvester goes around brainer there’s Trouble behind him too underneath the Town Fair Tire sign three cars together
The Montan car is one of those cars and I believe the gretti and I’m not sure it might be Brad hella Matt is the other white car the white back end of that machine boy both members of the team getting a trouble on the backstretch first Owen and then in the aftermath of
That Brad healwa in car number nine that’s a one thing with a 100 lap race if your car is just 90% normally you might uh keep it out on the track but not tonight because you have nothing to lose as you see Owen get turned around
And then get H he got cleaned out by the 52 a pitkat well literally the car almost looks he was right there to the inside of Dan Avery and the back end just went around on the race car it almost looks like it it had something in
The suspension or a tire went down because the back end just snapped around Bob ready to go back to green Chris kado looking the field over green flag is out and once again Sylvester does a good job and the inside Lane looks racy meanwhile Here Comes Jones up to Second
Avery could be the sleeper in this event MCH Avery said give him a few races he’ll be back on top of his game back in the lead is Chris Jones so Jones was able to jet stream his way underneath the 21 of Sylvester the battle for third
And fourth between Dan Avery and Ted Christopher who was in a hurry Ted Christopher’s already moved into the top four he started in the ninth spot ruko comes back out but he isn’t a factor he’s just going along for the ride meanwhile down the backstretch we’ve got Ray gretti spinning again gathers it
Back and it looks like we’re still going to stay under green and yes we do so we are still under green flag conditions Malave has slipped back just a bit and look at Kid Rock Keith Roco has moved on to the fifth spot with car number 88
Where did he start he started back in the 15th position map so let’s see what Ted Christopher can do against his teammate Dean Avery that is a fight for the number four position Avery he’s going to attack he tries to go down low against Josh sylvesta
A lap car might be an impediment to Chris Jones he is able to Scorch his way on the outside and Avery has opened up some daylight between himself and Ted Christopher he certainly has and uh then we’ve got Rocco right there as a big factor as well the number 20 car comes
Back out from behind the wall and that’s Jeff burill but he doesn’t seem to be up to speed whatsoever but there is definitely a lot of speed going on as Avery has now moved into second Dan Avery up to the runner up spot Teddy Christopher is up to third joshh
Sylvester shuffled from the lead back to the fourth spot and here comes Keith Roco challenging in position number five so Rocco trying to excavate his way underneath the 21 car Sylvester has a spot all over him like dimples on a golf ball as Keith Roco in car number 88 but
He can’t quite have the Finishing Touch now he might as they Thunder their way on the backstretch Keith Roco has moved into the fourth spot and trying to follow his lead is Bren Anderson no question about it as they work their way off and down to the line it is still the
Leader of the pack Still Remains Jones believe it or not the 20 car the roof just peeled off car number 20 down at pit roadm not a good night for a convertible by any stretch of the imagination here remember Cal Shandon said his Dark Horse was going to be Eric
Burnt Eric burnt who has run the outside on occasion here has run the outside to get by Brit Anderson and he moves into sixth place so burnt is a man in a hurry in the silver number 54 meanwhile Teddy Christopher gave the back bumper of the
Jones machine a little tap to let him know that he’s there Avery now is still running right there with his teammate as Rono still sets currently in the four spot little further back in the field another good battle that’s going on is the battle between Malave and the number
70 car and that of course is Brit Anderson those two have been uh duking it out lap after lap Ryan priest was strong earlier he settled back in at the bottom of the top 15 so the top three cars could fit inside an onion ring the leader Chris Jones Dr Evil bottom shot
Ted Christopher it wasn’t Swift enough that time but Christopher is just getting warmed up Eric burn is starting to challenge Keith Rocco for the number five position sure is and that’s a good battle right there as they continue to do it now pulling out of line to make a
Bid for it TC Ted Christopher takes over the lead jump Jones shuffled back to Second Avery saw Christopher do it gretti is the pick car as they come up on lap traffic off the turn meanwhile the Bulldog almost gets shuffled back well will gretti be an ally or an enemy
To Ted Christopher it turns out to be none of the above he stays down and both Christopher and Jones are able to tap dance around the 16 car so does Avery so does Roco so does burn as everybody is able to navigate their way around famous
Raymond no question about it and now Kid Rock pulled out a line and tried to get down underneath Avery it just didn’t happen that circuit by off the second turn a whole different ball game and Avery is still your third place car Eric burnt looking good we’ve got trouble
Gretti has had his share of problems all night long in 17 circuits he is well comes to a speeching halt beneath the techet sign and now pulls away but I believe he’s got front suspension damage with car number 16 Matt we’re going back to green 17 of the 100 now complete and
Ted Christopher is a man in front lost a year ago in the Kors light 100 in a close battle against Keith Roco this time will’ll try to get the upper hand against Chris Jones it’s Jones who gets the jump look at Chris Jones like he was fired out of a grenade launcher while
That story was about to unfold Kid Rock went from the outside to the inside he’s running to the inside of Jones and that’s the battle for second Kid Rock muscles his way to the inside Jones is shuffled back in the outside Lane and there is a oh trouble now car number
Three Malave sideways sliding on the racetrack what a save for Jeff Malave wow he went into John Deere country and lived to tell about it as he came back out onto the track in seventh place what a save mariana rivera could have done better than that but the yellow does
Come out the caution flag comes out we there might be some dirt on that third one area unbelievable Jeff Malave was sideways about 3/4 the way down the front stretch the car went sliding onto the grass it was completely sideways came back up on the racetrack and he
Just turned left then right and he was back magic and he didn’t lose that much ground on the racetrack believe it or not let’s see what’s going to happen we’re about ready to go back to green flag racing as ahead off turn number four 18 now up on the big board and
Again the green is out and Kid Rock is trying to go to the outside of Teddy Christopher they are almost side by side as they come off that second turn mat down the backstretch Christopher still the leader of the pack but Chris Jones wants to disrupt the rhythm of the ada8
Car of Rocco Here Comes Jones getting sideways is able to get it back but he loses some momentum no question about that down into turn number one remember we talked about what Dr Evil was driving it to the edge he is we talked about him earlier and Dan Avery’s now broken away
From that pack off the turn here comes get rock Keith Roco takes over the lead Deja Vu Matt a year ago 12 times the lead change between these two guys this is the first time tonight I don’t think it’ll be the last this is where we came
In last year look at Christopher trying to retaliate Rocco blocking the spot but he can’t block it enough Here Comes Christopher not enough adrenaline to pull off the move that time and while that’s happening you know who’s passed the most cars on the racetrack Woody
Pitkat he went down on Pit Road with a tire flat and he’s now back among the top 10 cars now here is lead change number two maybe Matt as they come off turn four looking for some giddy up as Christopher can’t get enough but turn one has always been Christopher’s
Favorite let’s see if he can rustle the lead away and he does so there is lead change number two this is rling brother there’s in action between Christopher and Rocco no question about that look at Malave a little further back in the field he’s battling with Josh Sylvester
And there’s Woody pitkat 23 laps are up on the board Black Flag is being issued we’re not sure we believe it is the five car the back eye machine is getting the Black Flag mon Santos and the 70 are trying to get back to Pit Road as we
Speak as the lead is well it is still held down by Ted Christopher but the big question is for how long take one eye and check out the battle for fourth and fifth between Jones and Eric Burt also in there in Jones’s hitp pocket is burnt
Sylvester is there also making a move is Jeff Malave and Woody pitat here is Rocco on the outside trying to do it difficultly and it is Rocco taking over the lead so that’s lead change number three three lead changes in 25 circuits not really 25 because he took the lead
On lap number 15 so in 10 laps we’ve had three different lead changes that’s just the beginning stay tuned there’s more to this story look at the Battle of Woody pitkat and Josh Sylvester that’s currently taking place further back in the field that’s the battle for seventh
Map caution yellow comes out just as pitat was able to get the seventh spot and we have a problem in the rule section it looks like Adam scava in car number 05 bringing out another yellow three lead changes 10 laps and it looks like those two guys haven’t even
Started to sweat yet so in one quarter of the race already they SWA the lead back and forth three times right now let’s see what happens as Ted Christopher tries to get the jump on the outside he does can he make it stick out there well they’re still side by side of
Wheel tohe Kid Rock starts to inch away they come off the turn down the backstretch and Keith Roco is now the brand new leader again meanwhile look at Dan Avery he still isn’t about to be shuffled off that podium in that third spot little further back Eric burn still
There Woody pitkat and Jeff Malave Malave is another driver like pitat that has had more lives than a cat tonight as he’s been able to really become a big factor again here comes lead change number four Matt coming up as Christopher got the best on the backstretch so it’s Christopher to
Wrestle the leadway from Keith Roco that is lead change number four Dan Avery the Poise of a veteran right there in car number 10 there could be Armageddon surrounding him and you would never know him by the poised way the Avery is driving trying to hold off burn Roo they
Stack up as that is Chris Jones in the middle or is it Todd Owen in the middle of turns one and two is the Jones machine and the 79 car I think is another car that was involved in that jingle and the 79 car stopped on the
Race track pulls away and I think yes we do go to Yellow as Jones is in a very precarious position a Black Flag the number 79 car four different lead changes among the dynamic duo at the front of the field so uh let’s see what’s going to happen is uh we go back
To green and Ted Christopher still to the advantage you know before some might have thought that Cal shonet had well maybe it was a long shot when he talked about the Bulldog I don’t think so mat remember in the 150 lapper last year how competitive burnt was right now he’s
Nipping at the heels of Keith Rocco he wants a piece of second as they stormclaw their way into turn number one burnt has leverage underneath Roco can he make it stick out there right now Rocco trying to Pinocchio his way into second and burnt they don’t call him the
Bulldog because he likes to surrender there’s no question about that he currently sits in the third spot fourth is still Dan Avery and fifth is Woody pitkat Here Comes Rocco could be another lead change Ben it sure could be and guess what down the backstretch it is lead change number
Five and here is Kid Rock it’ll be official when he crosses the line on lap number 32 Rocco is the new leader and all over his back bumper like a trailer hitch is Ted Christopher burnt is a factor Here Comes Christopher he didn’t want Rocco to have the lead for very
Long as he will make a dive bomb move and it works lead change number six and TC is back on top so six times these guys have swapped the lead we’re not talking about leaders of the event we’re just talking about swapping the lead
They have done it six times 33 up on the board and it is still Teddy Christopher in command Woody pitkat Now setting his sights on Dan Avery that’s the battle currently pitat pulled out a line almost made a bid for it Avery slipped up the
RAC trck just a bit but what he pick at was in BR bear Grill’s country into Wilderness Here Comes Rocco another lead change that is number seven and Christopher trying to retaliate quickly can’t do it and now Christopher is vulnerable to Eric burnt c number 54 wow
It has been seven different swaps for the lead between the first and second place car and it all happened on lap number 15 we’ve got a yellow We Believe leave that might be fluid on the racetrack that brings out the caution and we’ll give you a recap in just a
Moment so Keith Roco has got his groove back and the lead it hasn’t been a two-man show burn has been tough Dan Avery has been steady Kurt brainer has snuck up underneath the radar screen and Woody pitkat has been on the comeback Trail as we get ready to get back up to
Speed well the green is back out and again Ted Christopher moves in and takes over the lead that outside Grove has been very friendly to anyone who’s been there Rocco holding off Christopher for the time being but Christopher has a good run going there here he comes
Outside trying to do it the very difficult way and on the tundra he just can’t get enough bite to the rail Keith Rocko Kid Rock goes up high and then kind of blocks the position the leader has the right to do that that’s what they say Christopher settles back into
Second and here comes burn he’ll pull out of line setting in the third spot Woody pitkat and brainer battling for position number five and right there with him is Zach Sylvester we haven’t talked much about Zach he was on Pit Road for a couple of times and backy who
Was overheating is not doing that as we speak lead change guess which one it is number eight and it is Ted Christopher back in the leag and now burn trying to get between Christopher and Rocco as he wants to be part of that lead changing process but he can’t get there pitat is
Able to hold off K brainer so that’s an intense battle ble for fifth Here Comes Sylvester as he pulls even with Kurt brainer as once again the buzzers were flying over the 51 car earlier tonight and right now he has become a contender as he nudges his way past Kurt brainer
Well all that’s been happening Woody pitkat is really starting to apply the pressure to Dan Avery that’s the battle for the fourth and the fifth spot further back in the field we see Foster battling with zervis that’s a battle among the top 20 cars back to the line
They come Ted Christopher Your Leader Rocco in second burn is in third fourth is apry fifth is pitkat we’ve got a yellow Spin and turn number four I believe it’s a 25 car of Shawn Foster so that will be yellow number seven it comes out on lap number 40 no question
About it we’re about ready to go back to green flag racing as they come off turn number four scoreboard shows the 13 as the leader when the caution came out well Christopher was very smooth that time here comes burn trying to jack knife his way underneath Rocco Rocco is
Just too tough on the backstretch as he just hurricanes his way even with Christopher it’s amazing how good the outside Groove is has been in this race Ted Christopher still in command Kid Rock goes from the outside to the inside to try to apply the pressure again
Meanwhile it is Woody pitkat that is moved down underneath Dan Avery to take over the fourth spot Zack Sylvester and backy are still factors in this one as well off the turn and back to the line Christopher still the leader 42 and counter Christopher starts to uh pull
Away now remember Mark bakai is not on the lead lap he is down a lap and he is at the bottom of the leaderboard Woody pitkat trying to shuffle his way underneath Avery Avery has just done a masterful job I don’t think he’s been
Out of the top five yet he might be in danger of that happening however because he might be the victim of a Zach Attack Here Comes Zack s fer trying to Barnstorm his way into the top five remember when they spent all that time on Pit Road making adjustments those
Adjustments have paid off and you can see that in the performance of Zach Sylvester leader Still Remains Christopher Rocco still in second burnt is still in the third spot pit Kats up to Fourth Sylvester Zack Sylvester is in five Avery first time tonight out of the
Top five on lap number 44 just six lap shy of the halfway marker back eye is down a lap or so due to remember when that car was leaking fluid on the racetrack M as we might have a bulle in at the front of the field as it looked
Like Rocco was about to get the hammer on Christopher that didn’t happen Mark baky is one lap down to our leaders he has finished 44 laps while everybody else has finished 45 and Now 46 so again we see that Ted Christoper is still the leader of the pack
Meanwhile a little further back in the field Malave and Brainard are all also threading the needle trouble now we’ve got one around it is Shawn Foster who spins he’s got the Luck of the Irish tonight because that could have been a serious situation as we go to Yellow as
Foster has spun between turns one and two and Sean Foster has had a roller coaster night here this evening as they head off turn number four picture perfect start green flag is back out Christopher shown as the leader on the board Here Comes Kid Rock again winds it
Up tight in the outside Lane we’ve had eight swaps for the lead between these two and I think number nine is just around the corner mat is Roco showing Amazing Firepower on the outside here he comes Christopher lunges backwards and Keith Rocco lead change number nine nine changes among these two meanwhile Here
Comes bird for the first time going to the outside of Teddy Christopher and where is Woody pitkat he’s right there in this dogfight battle for the lead pitat muscled his way into the third spot and car number 52 is Factor number three so here comes pitat as he barrels
His way underneath burnt who falters to Fourth Sylvester is fifth burnt doesn’t take kindly to the fact that he’s been demoted a position he goes on the attack meanwhile those old two adversaries are at it again as Rocco leading by about an arms length over Ted Christopher no
Question about it kid still the leader of the field and meanwhile Christopher is running R in his tire tracks this time when they come to the line cross Flags in the air now indicating that 50 circuits are now complete 50 laps to go halfway down and halfway to go let’s set
The top 10 for you Keith Rocko is your leader at the halfway Ted Christopher is second Woody pitkat is third is fourth Zach Sylvester is fifth Dan Avery is six Jeff malab is seventh Brainard is e Josh Sylvester is ninth and Ryan priest is currently 10th that’s the way they’re
Running 51 in counter but the top two cars could fit inside a blunder Christopher inside position could this be another lead change not yet but turn number three has always been a power move for Christopher here he comes trying to Barnstorm his way back into the lead another lead change that is
Number 10 now he got to give it to Roco as he led by about a molecule and now Christopher takes over well there has been 10 lead changes is between these two swapping back and forth the record was 12 a year ago let’s see if they’re
Going to break that record I say they are because Here Comes Keith Roco to try to take it back for 11 he wants to pull within one right now and here he comes as he is able to Scorch his way underneath Ted Christopher new leader backstretch let’s see if he can clear it
And he does by a big margin Keith Roco is back in front on lap number 54 11 times they’ve swap the lead they’re going for the record 12 was the record a year ago will they be able to do it for the 10th I mean the 12th time as they
Head down the backstretch Ted Christopher pulls out of line Bonsai mov to the bottom off the turn their wheel wheel and side by side Rocco and Christopher back at the line it looked like it is lead change number 12 cariv with 13 back in command and pitat has
Moved ever so closer to the top two here comes Rocco he doesn’t like to be in the runner-up position these guys are racing as hard as they can and there’s still 44 laps to go this is going for the Gusto down to the bottom of turns one and two
Here’s the tiebreaker will it be 13 lead changes and Counting between these two drivers yes it is 13 different times they’ve swapped the lead and Kid Rock is now the leader again there’s ‘s a big gap between burn and Avery for the number four positions we have yellow and
Chris Jones is on the backstretch along with Anderson in the 70 car as uh we have a break on lap number 57 and I think we needed that to catch our breath because lead change after lead change and Keith Roco has the upper hand now but we still have 43 laps to go
Almost an entire regular Friday night Fe amazing yep 13 different times they I never thought we could outdo last year and guess what the race isn’t even 23s over yet and we have and while there’s a lot happening on uh the backstretch Brit Anderson decided to go down and uh visit
With Mr Jones thought twice of it about halfway down and Zach Sylvester’s car is now being pushed behind the wall talk about a heartbreaker let’s see what’s going to happen as they come off turn number four four there’s the green and again it looks like we’re going to have
Another swap for the lead here coming up pretty quick I think nope Rocco takes back the lead Here Comes Teddy Christopher up on the wheel Bonsai moved to the bottom works his way through the turn they’re closer than most people Park but at the line it’s still Roco in
The lead you know Rocco was able to pull away on the start which is a good move except that he left the bottom open for Christopher and Christopher almost got the notes of his car underneath the 88 pitat running strongly Kur Brainard a little deeper in the field is being
Chased down by Ryan priest so priest who was raised on extra distance races is trying to get into the top seven there’s no question about that leader Still Remains Keith Rocco meanwhile Christopher well there’s a little bit about a car length and a half between first and second Woody pitat is now
Knocking on Heaven’s Door as he’s right there behind Ted Chris Christopher little further back as you said perhaps another Heartbreaker for the night is the back eye machine remember when that car overheated earlier it’s among the quickest cars on the racetrack it is running fifth on the track but in
Reality it is one laap down and it’s 14th if he could be the recipient of the lucky dog he could be a factor yeah he could be right up among the big boys Jeff Malave is starting to breathe down the tailpipe of Dan Avery some Malave
Going to work as he tries to Fireball under underneath the T car not not enough bite that time the plot thickets at the front Keith Rocco out in front and I think Christopher is about to get the leverage that he wanted going into turn number one how many times in the
First 499 SK races has Ted Christopher gotten the lead with a daring move going into turn number one meanwhile still making a bid for it as they come off the turn and back down to the strip and it looks like the black flag is the five
Car again the back eye car they believe is leaking fluid on the racetrack and that was the initial problem when they brought that car first down on Pit Road what a heartbreaker for that young talented team as they come off turn number four leaders to remains Keith
Roco out in front so the top three cars could fit inside an inner tube Christopher almost had position down low but Rocco was able to fight him off pit cat also in the neighborhood then we have a big gap between Eric bur and the fifth place car of Dan Avery and Avery
Has to be concerned about a pestering like a mosquito is the 40 of Ryan PRI here’s Christopher could this be lead change number 14 Christopher is giving it everything he has as they go into turn three but Keith Rocco’s giving it the same they’re wheel tohe they touch
They shimmy and they shake they come back to the line and yes the 14th different swap for the lead has just taken place and now Ted Christopher is back in command and maybe that time the back bumper where Christopher’s got a little massage from the 88 of Rocco as they
Exited turn two pitat is in the neighborhood followed by Burnt but the men who have put on the show so far the 13 of Christopher the 88 of Rocco who goes to the outside may be setting up that crossover move in turn number three he’ll go from high line to the inside
Line Bonsai moved to the bottom guess what lap again 15 times the lead has changed between these two on lap number 68 Keith Roo back in command Rocco is getting tremendous Bite coming off the second turn and that is what is enabling him to pull off the bottom shot let’s
See what Christopher can do with car number 13 down to the final 31 laps and the tandem of Christopher and Rocco have pulled away from the third place car of pitkat no question about it they are still still starting to string it out just a bit but nobody is giving an inch
In the battle for the lead it is still Kid Rock the leader of the pack this time when they come to the stripe lap number 70 now completed into the record books little further back in the field it is still a good battle going on between Malave brainer and now Shawn
Foster has moving in with that pack of cars 70 laps in counting in this 100 lap event for the SK modifies Here Comes Christopher he’s making a bid for it again looking to make it Le lead change number 16 for the D dynamic duo that runs at the front boy Kurt braer having
A good run he says in 2/3 of these 100 lap races he has not finished that time he was able to get underneath Dan Avery I believe that’s trouble foral Ben nope that is the Malave machine car number three off the pace rather suddenly as he’s trying to get it down off the
Racetrack as Jeff Malave is now up high on the racetrack thought he was going to head oh down the front straightway we’ve got one up in smoke it is the number 39 car for Jones that literally smoked up down the front straightway and then spun to the bottom
Of the racetrack Chris Jones already three laps down and then that happened as he looked like the smoke monster it lost that TV show so 72 shows up on the board for Jeff Mal’s car is stopped between turns three and four staring him down Chris kado looks him over again as they work
Their way off the turn green flag is out back to the line they come and it appears that kid rock is still the leader of the pack meanwhile Brad hella goes sliding down through the center of the infield no harm done no foul there as now Woody pit Kats being pressured by
Bert who’s another competitor that just refuses to be out of the top three and that time Chris ER was able to get back to the bottom Groove where he does his best work pitat getting a challenge from the Bulldog Eric burnt the torpedo their way off the corner look at Eric burn
It’s almost like he is uh being pushed by a tornado as he gets the nostrils of that car temporarily ahead of pitkat but then pitkat takes over the number three position pitkat goes back into the third spot priest and Avery they’ve got another good battle going on that’s for
Positions number five and six and Josh wer isn’t to be counted out as yet he’s currently among the top seven cars as he now applies the pressure to Dan Avery off the turn and back to the line they come Kid Rock still the leader Ted Christopher still in second 25 laps to
Go 25 laps to go remember what Kid Rock’s owner said the final five is going to be what you’ll want to pay all the money to see as we go down to the wire in this one so Rocco who does not have a rear rear view mirror but he
Knows who’s behind him he can feel him as they go into turn number two Christopher trying to Crowbar his way underneath the 88 what about Dan Avery tonight still running in seventh place he’s part of the gerol generation at se at 55 years old he is making a fine
Showing tonight but we know the drama is at the front of the field when will Christopher strike it is just a matter of time and Keith Roco knows it sure is and that is exactly what you’re seeing we’ve got a yellow there is a car up in
Turn number four that is uh stopped up next to the wall a right front tire has definitely went down on that race car and uh that is unfortunate as we go back to Sylvester yes it is the 51 car has another problem and uh we’ve said that a
Few times tonight is uh after that car almost blew up car number 88 is the leader on the board as they work their way back to the line Christopher trying try to gain some momentum in the outside Lane down to turn one it’s still Keith Roco and now
Look at Woody pitkat Matt pitat is all over Christopher like the tomato juice in a Bloody Mary he is running hard Christopher runs harder to protect his second spot and while Christopher and pitkat here battling Rocco might have one of his biggest leads of the night no
Question about it and look at Josh Sylvester he refuses to give up tonight because he is now among the top five cars as priest now has to settle back into six pitkat holds off bernt off the turn they come back to the line and it is still a great battle going on between
Pitkat and burnt nobody’s given an inch but that’s good clean racing at its best 79 they’re going to be on lap number 80 Matt when they cross the strike you talk about forward bite Josh Sylvester might have denture cream for tires as he is running strongly in the number five
Position Kurt brainer trying to move up against Dan Avery those two guys have been together for almost the entire race and for the first time all evening there’s a little bit of a comfort zone between Keith Rocco and Ted Christopher it might not last for very long no
There’s no question about that a woody pitkat is well aware of the fact that those two have been swapping the lead back and fourth mat and uh pitkat is in what we would call the catbird seat if anything happens between the dynamic dual in front of him he’s going to be in
The right place at the right time now there was a race earlier this year at the Topson Speedway where Keith Rocco led the final laps Ted Christopher was in second and Christopher came out of nowhere to take the lead and the win on the final lap and Ted Christopher after
It was over said it was one for experience that experience paid off will that same scrip play out tonight as Christopher might be waiting until the uh single digits are on the scoreboard to make his final move sure is it’s going to be an impressive one there’s 83
Laps now in cting a little further back in the field Tommy Bulls just went around Shawn Foster to uh pick up another spot there that puts Bulls solidly into the top 10 currently as we speak and I think Rocco might be thinking about that race and how
Christopher was able to get the best of them on the final lap and we’ll see if he changes his strategy pitat is pulled away from Eric burnt so the best battle on the track is for fifth and six that is Sylvester in Priest and here comes brainer trying to Scorch his way
Underneath Dan Avery well he tried it just didn’t work that time by but he’s right there within Striking Distance starts to work over Avery again Avery’s car was a lot stronger early in the event it almost appears like perhaps his tires might have went away off turn number four leader Still Remains Keith
Roco Ted Christopher still second Woody pitkat is third burnt is in the fourth spot Josh Sylvester great run among the top five Roco and Christopher ran almost The Identical lap time on the last time around as Rocco was 100th of a second faster let’s see what happens this time
As they swirl their way across the line Keith Roco was a time of 19073 Ted Christopher 19147 so Rocco is pulling away no question about that but uh the big question is is Teddy Christopher saving anything for the last fire in the gun it’s a come off turn number four it’s
Still Kid Rock the leader of the pack braider now is still battling lap after lap with Avery he has enough power to be able to set up the move but not enough power to complete the move you might say the same story when it comes to priest
And Josh Sylvester this time when they cross the stripe lap number 89 we’re moving into what they call the comfort zone we’ll call it the danger zone and the home stretch in the Coors Light 100 what about Tommy Bulls currently running in Ninth Place if he could get a top 10
Finish it would be one of the best top 10 finishes in his long career they launch their way across the line Rocco still leading by about a fire truck over Ted Christopher but Christopher is not evaporating he is still a factor as they blister their way into the third turn
They literally start to string it out from the competition here Woody pitkat was running with them just a few laps to go now he’s about well six car Lanes behind them nine laps in counting as we work our way down to the wire distance between first and second about the same
As second and third and third and fourth and fourth and fifth that’s the way it’s starting to play out in the final stages of this event well Keith Rocco after 15 lead changes was able to save some rubber for the final laps as he continues to try to pull away from the
13 of Christopher who would have thought that after all that intense race in that Rocco would have saved something for the final handful of lapse Here Comes priest he’s down underneath Josh Sylvester that is for the fifth spot off the turn priest had it at the line by a bumper
They are wheel tohe on side by side priest moves into five Sylvester drops back to six boy that was some forward bite there almost like it came out of a Jaws movie great run by priest to infiltrate the top five Rocco stretching out his advantage in the last lap he was
18.9 so unbelievable finish actually it was 19.19 still fast Christopher a little faster but he’s going to have to be a lot faster to track Roco down remember on the last caution when Kid Rocks owner said the final five is going to tell the story well his car and Keith Rocco is in
A zone of its own at the front of the field 15 times they SWA the lead there’s less than five circuits remaining in this event and they’re running right now almost identical lap times bad news for Christopher pitat trying to get a Podium run he’s currently in third followed by
Burt but at the front of the field a black flag is issued to Jeff baral Here Comes Rocco as he whiplashes his way off the corner what an impressive finish for Kid Rock no question about it he is the star of the show three laps in counting
As we work our way down to the wire Keith Roco is in a zone of his own he is gone at the front of this field trouble down the front straightaway Raymond gret’s car comes to a screeching halt to the top side of the racetrack car number
16 it looks like we’re going to yellow and we do it’s not over with yet mats guess what oh it’s on lap number 97 in which the yellow has been uh distributed Raymond gretti my may have been a tire that uh went could put on that number 16 car he is marooned in
Turn number two we are going to have a final three-lap Rumble to the register between Christopher and Roco so just when Roco was able to run and hide the yellow flag has uh made it a race again and you know what we say so many times
You are only as good as your last restart 500 starts and this will be the 500 time the SK modifies Ted Christopher slight advantage to the top side now it’s Kid Rock to the inside look out here comes Woody pitkat challenging for second down the backstretch they’re
Wheel to Wheeling side by side pitat trying to Ravel Rouse his way in a second he does the 52 is in second two laps to go does pitkat have enough to track down Rocco Rocco pulling away here comes Christopher bottom shot trying to evict pitat from second down the
Backstretch Kid Rock pulls away Woody pitkat pulls his strategy off to move into second This Time by the White Flag is out one lap to go Rocco extending his lead over Woody pitkat Christopher has to worry about Eric Burt Here Comes Keith Rocko after 15 lead changes he
Will Roar his way into turn three for the final time off turn number four 500 SK starts the 500th victory will go to Kid Rock Keith Rocko to take down the win Woody pitkat great run to finish in second and rounding out the top three the amazing Ted Christopher finishing in
The fourth spot is Eric burn and Ryan priest to finish in position number five what a run tonight for Dan Avery as he will claim six Josh Sylvester in seventh Kurt braer in eighth the Never Say Die kid Tommy BS finishing ninth and rounding out our top 10 sha Foster Adam
Scor will finish in 11th Kirk zervis will finish in 12th 13th Position will go to Raymond gretti Mark Buckeye to finish in 14th and Brad hella in position number 15 then it was John monano in 16th Jeff baral in 17th Jeff Malave in 18th Chris Jones 19th and
Rounding out to top 20 will be Zach Sylvester Vincent and glaz to finish 21st Brit Anderson 22nd Nicole morillo 23rd Ronnie silk 24th and Toto in 25th Frank Rocco never got it going tonight only competed for three laps finishing 26 and Matt Gallow was a first lap
Casualty he finishes 27th so last week’s winner finishes 27th tonight what about Keith Rocco is uh he really saved something for the end after it looked like he gave everything he had against Ted Christopher he was able to give it some more in the final 10 laps the
Victory is about to start our 500th Car Quest Victory Lane in the SK modified Division and to tell you about it is Joost Keith Roco made his way to Car Quest Victory Lane in the chorus light 100 back-to-back wins in this event certainly will help him in the national
Championship Chase for the wheel and allamerican series but how about that race between him and Ted Christopher he’s just about set to climb out of the car ladies and gentlemen it is a winner of the chorus light 100 Keith Roco has done it once again in 2010 and Keith an
Aggressive battle throughout the event between you and Ted Christopher it’s a wonder at the end of that how you’re able to just pull away and dominate over the past couple of past 10 laps or so how are you able to save that much at the end yeah you know uh just can’t say
Enough for Troy race cars uh that’s what they’re made to do is race long races and uh showed it here tonight but uh it was a lot of fun racing up with Ted uh early in the race it was uh was almost like it wasn’t even racing out there it

Earlier on in the day now they could take a little bit of a breather and realize that they have won tonight and they have found Victory after being so nervous early on as the event unfolded and we talked about that throughout the event Woody pitkat he certainly had a
Tough day today was able to battle back from early trouble on Pit Road Woody pitkat you’ve done a great job behind the wheel this year but your crew seems to be doing just as good of a job with the repairs that they’ve been able to
