The Garsen Max grip has a ridge down the top of the grip, rather than a flat section. The ridge encourages placement of the thumbs on the sides of the grip, which stabilizes motion in the wrist, elbow, and shoulder, joints. This creates a more efficient putting stroke because of the stability in the joints, and the player can be more relaxed when in this position.
