Welcome everyone to the road to Millions adien Corbin from wagertalk.com I’m hoping this is the most important show that we do of 2024 no free picks uh you know we’re not going to do bankroll reset day we’re going to only look at 2023 in review and we’re going to look to

2024 and we had we had a great 2023 as you’ll see we’ll go over those stats but more importantly I want to focus on what 2024 has in store for us things that we think we can take advantage of things that are changing in the market and some

Personal things that Corbin and I are are working on um with everything so um just buckle up and I hope you guys can take away some some things for this one Corbin has a nice surprise for me he has goals for me uh so uh well we’re going to have some

Fun with this for sure but we do want to make sure that that we’re constantly learning and adjusting to the marketplace and making sure that our betting Style um fits and so let’s just uh jump right into it um our annual special is up Golf Plus Auto Racing

Corbin let’s just go over these these stats so this is about perfect man um we’re hitting 57.4% we want to be over that 57% Mark 1.9% Roi is great and we won at 100 units we came up just short at 9 9.88 so yeah so we’re looking really really

Close to this 2000 play Mark I believe that’s uh just over uh 2,000 plays which is a great mark because it’s a long enough sample size to say you know are we good long-term uh you know betters and yeah 1,183 wins 878 losses and 10 pushes like I said

57.4% and we have 90.8 units with a 1.9% Ro so that was 2023 I would say just looking at these numbers I’m very happy man I’d love to be over 100 units uh it’s yeah I don’t know if it’s we’re we’re since we changed our unit size I I I don’t know

If that’s going to help us or hurt us get get closer to the 100 units I actually think it’s going to help us we’ll go over some things that uh we think we’re going to adjust but really proud of 2023 and we want to kind of look look at

What went well and what didn’t go well so all let you start Corbin because I’ve got yours here first so why don’t you go over what you think went well for us yeah so as you said obviously quite a few things obviously went well to be up

That many units uh the first one is the tennis Majors we go on about it all the time but I I think I did really well at the tennis Majors this year you look back previously I think I’ve been doing tennis Majors for about two and a half

Maybe three years at this point I’ve only ever lost one and that was not even the year just gone it was the year before profitable in all four this year made decent profits in at least three of them uh small profit in one of them all good so yeah still crushing the majors

It’s my probably my favorite sport and part of the year are those tennis Majors uh the darts World Championships that just just happened uh finished plus seven eight units about that uh hit one of our futures that will come on to shortly that just went really well another profitable one of those those

I’ve made a profit on every single one of those I’ve ever bet so that’s great uh NFL worked really well particularly the last couple of weeks uh as you can see the 42 and 22 run and that in included some really brutal losses uh we had one just gone the Cowboys where we

Needed them to just get half a point well a point more could have easily happened if uh the Lions didn’t go for two three times and uh just kick the field goal or if CD lamb doesn’t fumble and they kind of mess themselves up we had so many of those close losses in

That stretch as well so it could have easily been better but far and improved from where we started the year with NFL in certain aspects uh the Futures I think the Futures are probably one of the things that go under the radar the most if you look at our futures plays

Darts we went 3 and 0 soccer I think like we’re highly profitable in every single one of these Futures that we’ve ever done we probably need to play them even more which will come on to the crossports and the parlays are probably actually the biggest thing that we

Discovered and I think went well this year the crossports where we can take a piece from two or three different sports that we love in a weekend and make one solid play as opposed to just being forced to put them with bits like bits that we don’t like as much in those

Sports has helped massively such as when we’ve put a golf top 40 and a F1 driver to finish in the points and then a CFL part all together they’ve worked really well and then uh soccer another profitable year and soccer loved where we went this year find uh found player

Shots to be a hugely successful Market we weren’t really using those uh back in 2022 so that was a good Discovery that’s probably my main things that went well for me at least this this year so I want to touch on Futures because this is not just one sport it’s across the board

Exactly you look at our NBA Futures we’ve got a couple that are I mean they’re just they look they are so on P one of them is like Chris Paul Under 12 and a half points average per game I think he’s averaging nine um you know so

You know that looks great NFL Futures we’re going to cash some of those MLB was profitable and they’re so overlooked but we’ve turned a profit almost every sport every year that we’ve done them I was going back and looking and this is even the major sports like

MLB NBA and NFL and these are sports that are tough to end the year profitable so imagine just at the end of the year if you’re like oh and we get eight units of Futures oh and we add 12 units of Futures onto the end of it the

Bottom line and I would say it’s a results based business like right okay we had brutal losses but it doesn’t matter like this is black and white you win or you lose it’s one of the nice things about this business is you know there’s it’s just the units are what

They are and the Futures have looked like such a great play and I mean the the funniest one Corbin that we had was leis Hamilton yeah under what was it like three and a half four four four and a half wins he ended the year with a grand total of

Zero a f hero and okay but just take that take that one play how how many times dout throughout the year are you going to get a gift like that not it’s it’s tough but we’ve seen with these Futures that there’s just so much value in them and people Overlook them and it

Is one thing that I really want to focus on this year now obviously we’re going to end up cashing you know cashing out on some of these but we’re going to have the start of the Formula 1 season yeah we’re going to have the start of the NBA

The NHL and the NFL season all those are coming this year along with the restart of of you know darts uh in the winter and soccer and that comes so Futures I I just see the value in it I’m with you 100% and just just just think

About like that that that that uh F that number that we were at 90.8 if we turn a profit in all those Sports and even if we just make like six or seven units just think how big that number is at the that’s just like adding

20 units onto the end just with the futur so I I’m with you 100% And I think the push back on Futures is like well you know you got to play and then it’s money just sitting there and it’s who cares if it wins exactly exactly that we

Judge our we judge our bank rle at the end of the year we’re not like taking the money out if like if you were one of those well well we don’t advise it but if you’re one of those people that’s constantly withdrawing money moving it around depositing then that’s completely

Different but where we have our road to Millions where we just leave it in there and it just increases by the end of the year we’re not going to go oh we waited a year to make that money and that money it’s all kind of just pulled together in

One place so it doesn’t really matter how it gets there if it takes a couple a day if it’s a play the next day or if it takes six months to get there it’s still at the end of the year going to rack up just the same so

Yeah uh the other one I would piggy back off of his crossboard parlays when it’s it’s weird because we don’t want to we don’t want to use like the daily sports like I don’t want to use an NBA play and a crossboard you know MLB or you know NHL or some of

Those but when it’s golf season and Formula 1 season and as we learned uh Canadian football is like a gold mine for crossport parlays on some of those you know money lines that you can throw in there UFC is a good uh a good spot I agree completely that crossport parlays

Are we we did great with them last year and I can see absolutely using more of those this year I I I thought they were fantastic and I thought we did a great job of using them and seeing where the the value is and I think it’s going to

Be even better this year so I I I was really happy with how we used Canadian football and how we started sprinkling in Formula One and some of the some of the other ones so I’m very high on those as well and yeah the player shots uh

I’ve noticed you’ve been doing more of the player shots and they just add so much value to those same game parlays and some of those other you get these guys that fire off a bunch of shots are getting great value at like one shot on

Goal so um I’m with you 100% on those but really Futures and the crossport parlays is uh something I’m really excited about um on this slide so uh what didn’t go well I’ll let you go first and then uh the bottom part is kind of some things that I uh that I

Want to get away from yeah so F1 uh whil we as I said it didn’t go bad but I feel like we could have done so much more I think we turned a small profit in there but there were so many races where we lost by such narrow margins all those

Results aren’t reflected because they go into the crossport parlays but overall I feel like we could have taken advantage of a lot more SP Sport uh spots in Formula 1 this past year and hopefully we will going into this year and then the darts uh we mentioned how well the

World Championships goes at the start of uh 2023 I think it was we were playing some of these uh lesser tournaments or the small smaller tournaments and it wasn’t really working out so that’s what didn’t go well but I I have some plans and ideas to try and turn that around so

We can still make darts profitable outside of that one or two tournaments this year so uh it didn’t go well nasar uh man it’s one of the sports that brought me to wager talk and I’m finding it unbal at this point like years ago it was it was predictable and now

It’s not you have these new cars and the new designs are not great for racing and so what happens is it’s tough to pass on the track so you have guys rolling the dice in the pit stops you have last second cautions right towards the end of

The race and we got up to a terrible start I got to tell you I’m glad I abandoned NASCAR because it just it was not a good year for the NASCAR betting I I mean I think I started off like one and six or one and seven and it was just

Like we’re losing these plays right here at the end or we’re losing them to very strange circumstances so I could see the writing on the wall I’ll monitor NASCAR this year but it is just not it’s not the the honey pot of profits that it used to be unfortunately um golf is kind

Of in the same way with Formula 1 like we were profitable in both of these but it it just should be better and I had some had some plays that were just very strange um I lost some guys uh to not make the cut just in some really brutal

Fashion towards the end of the year and I should know better now that when you’re you’re taking bigname guys to make the cut they’re going to make the cut at the beginning of the year when they get towards the end of the year is when they you start seeing injuries and

You start to see fatigue and uh then there was the add the whole live drama to the sport I think we’re going to have a little bit more clarity uh with some of these these golfers so even though it’s profitable and even though I’m happy with turning a profit golf I have

Very high standards and it should just be better this year so uh I expect to bring in more on Golf and yeah golf is a great s for crossport parlays like you said some of these guys to finish top 40 and even top 20 are just great parlay

Pieces so we should you those um NBA player props were disaster in 2023 and I got to be honest I crushed it means we crushed it during the covid season and it just hasn’t it hasn’t been there since you’ve got injuries every single day to deal with other people are doing

Fine it’s just not great for me so I think I’m done with NBA player props unless something changes I don’t see a point of adding it to our portfolio if it’s not even if it’s break even it’s not worth it because it’s eating up time it’s eating up resources and you’re

Putting your bankroll in play so even if it ends up like just barely breaking even it’s not worth it and it’s okay to go away from things that AR that aren’t working it’s one of the things I’m going to harp on uh when I’m looking at

2024 um what didn’t go well whenever I got away from playing streaks like whenever I would try and pick like something that dayto day and oh well this situation and this situation I preach it all the time like if you’re playing a certain player play him 10

Times you’re going to try and go seven and three or eight- two every time I would get away from that it would burn me and when I would stick to the streaks it always worked out when I found the right spot so uh as long as I stick to

Those streaks and you’re seeing in some of the NHL player props that we’ve been riding for the last you know couple weeks we see that it works um UFC main cards uh it’s going to be one of my biggest changes in how I bet a particular Sport and we’ll talk about

That here in a bit but the UFC main cards man especially on those pay-per-views they were brutal to try and predict so many just crazy happenings you have bizarre judges um you get these guys and it just felt like Corbin when you had these bigname guys

When they make it to like the main pay-per-view the fights were just different like it was like oh I don’t want to get get knocked out so I’m going to fight different than when I was on the prelims I thought the main cards were really really hard and I just

Wonder where the value has gone in those because it just felt like very very different year for UFC betting um it felt like when we did the prelims like and some of these guys that you know are not in the spotlight it felt like those were actually easier uh

To predict so um those are some things that did not go well that we’re looking to improve on so uh Corbin your gambling goals so one of the things that that Corbin and I did was we each made our own individual goals that we want to

Work on so uh Corbin’s going to tell us some of his and then I’ll tell you guys some of mine so Corbin what are your Su of your goals for this year yeah so the first one is quite obvious I feel like everyone probably has this gambling go

It’s just to increase the bank rle and just the increase the unit size not necessarily just with gambling as well like obviously we’re winning so it’s increasing but I’d love to be able to try and put in a a lump sum to just speed up the process almost like all

Depends what you can afford I’m not saying just go and lump like five grand people can’t afford for example but if I I’m going to try and find a way to try and afford to be able to uh just increase the size and then let it grow

At a faster rate with the road to Millions uh piggy back in off what we said before more Futures they just work so well all sports you mentioned a few of them there but like the win percentage on them is just so so high that just need to keep playing more of

Those basically uh I need to be tighter on not doubling up and over and exposing myself if I have a parlay piece that I love sometimes I throw it in too many parlays quite honestly and as much as you might think it’s the best parlay piece or you might love that particular

Spot or you might like struggle to see how it’s going to lose there’s always ways like there’s always an injury or a crazy circumstance or something that can trip you up and then suddenly that’s a load of parlays wiped out on one particular piece so that that’s probably

The most important one for me quite honestly uh another is to get ahead of these Sports quite often I am doing them like one or two days in advance I need to start trying to get like five seven days in advance just to get a better

Picture of what I have going into that that weekend that’s kind of hard to do with some of the sports I do cuz like tennis there’s never any lines or matchups two days in advance let alone more than that so just trying to see the sports I can get slightly more in

Advance or at least pre-plan and prepare myself for uh tennis I I’m still number one at wager talk want to remain number one uh I want to try and improve my success on some of these smaller tournaments and particularly get more aggressive in the major I’m already

Quite aggressive but I I feel like we could make even more and have an even bigger success in tennis this year uh and then uh third uh in the total uh units made for this year at wager talk I’d love to stay top three and get more

Consistent as the year goes on uh everyone strives to be more consistent and not have the Peaks and troughs as they say for winning and losing so if we can try and stay more consistent and stay in the top part of way talk I would love that so they’re my gambling goals I

Love it I just looked it up lifetime we’re at 60% on Futures love it that’s that’s just oh that is just so much so many units added on um to you know at the end of the year so all right uh well we’ll come back to a couple of these

I’ll go over um uh do you want to go over this now do you you want to go over that one now uh no we’ll do yours first we’ll do yours first and then we’ll come back to what I have okay that’s the surprise I haven’t seen it yet I didn’t

See it there so um okay avoid the big losing streaks you touched on it um this is the biggest unsaid or like thing that just doesn’t show up in the stat sheet it’s kind of like when a player is like a locker room guy when it like there’s nothing on the stat sheet

But avoiding the big losing streak is so so important like you’re going to take losses we’re going to lose 40% of the year we we know that it’s just statistics but it’s can you not take the 30% loss in one week like can you not just get creamed over the course of two

Weeks and really lower the bank roll that is so big because we know we’re going to win like we’ve proven that we can win over 57% of the time but it’s when you lose can it just not all be at once and can we identify when losing

Streaks are coming because at one of the things we always say around here the best way to make money is to not lose it so we we have to accept that losing is going to be part of it but we have to work extremely hard to make sure that

The losing streaks don’t wipe out a big chunk of the bankroll in a very quick period of time and that’s one thing that I don’t think people talk about enough is just saying you know like we’re we’re going to go up like that Plus 90 units that wasn’t a straight line you know

There’s you know there’s you know dips and everything we want to involve we want to try and get out of that that big big dip and I got to be honest with this new system that we’re doing with the units I think that’s going to help us

Big time I think we’re going to be able to avoid that uh patience patience patience if it isn’t working stop doing it um NBA done just it’s just not it’s not going to work and I need to be I need to be patient with it but I also need to

Abandon ship like I was so happy we did that with NASCAR I was so so happy like it wasn’t working and I paper traded and I monitor NASCAR throughout the year and it just wasn’t working so you know just I’m not going to I’m not going to force

Anything and it’s the same with NBA like I will continue to paper trade NBA and keep an eye on it but I just don’t think it’s going to work so I need to be patient with um I need to be patient with the plays that are working and

Stick to those and I need to get away from from the things that are not working so um it’s a lot less stress by the way it’s also a lot less energy and you know if you got a sport that’s breaking even it’s probably not worth

Your time so um kiss keep it simple stupid um staying away from the cute plays staying away from the plays you’re trying to outsmart everybody and you know trying to be the smartest guy in the room sometimes it’s a good idea but more times than not just keep it really

Really simple take the plays that are available to you there’s no reason to force anything in today’s market there are so many plays available to us that you’re going to have a couple of great plays every week I mean just take take NFL think of how many props and lines

And ALT lines I mean there’s a million of them every week in the NFL and yet you only need a couple of them if you really wanted to to turn a profit so there’s no reason to get really complic ated with with trying to do too much research um on plays like

You want to do as much research as possible but in the end sometimes simple is the best way so I really really want to make sure that I’m just keeping these plays as simple as possible uh more long-term packages for people as opposed to just single plays this is more of on

The wager talk side I like I like obviously we like when people purchase our single plays but it’s just not a good enough sample size to see what we can do like if you would have bought a Year’s worth of plays last year you know on January 1st

You’d be up 90 units and you would probably say that was a good experience that I had if you get one of our plays on a Tuesday and it happens to lose you may walk away and say that wasn’t a very good experience with that person so um I

Know it’s important for us to talk about play oh I have this play up I have this play up but I I really want to try and get people involved more long term and the other thing is we are running so many specials now at wager talk that

It’s so much more economical to just get like 7 days or get 30 days instead of that so I really want to harp on that because you know we we’re proud of our records in certain sports like hey cor number one at tennis beautiful we’re going to brag about that never had a

Losing season in golf and auto racing we’re going to brag about that but at the end of the day we’re looking at total units at the end of the year and that’s what we want to focus on so yeah uh work on organizing plays let think

People know when they will be coming out um so soccer if anyone doesn’t understand well Corbin you explain the lineups why sometimes this is just really hard with soccer yeah so soccer the lineups can alter so much by just one or two players missing for example

For we use Man City quite often I feel like I have a good read they’re my team but if we’re missing a key Striker or a key Winger that changes so much about the play from just players to have a shot if I

Put in a player not to have a or to have a shot and he doesn’t start that’s like a huge problem it the the key one is the corners when you have a corner play if a team suddenly decides they’re going to play five Defenders as opposed to a four

Defender or three Defender formation that changes the scope and the style of the game massively and that you don’t know these lineups until an hour before the game for the most part so I feel like you have to really wait to see to have the best idea in that window when

You get the team news so yeah so um to picky back off of that even though we know that we need the lightups to come out I want to try and work on getting people ready to just be like hey this is when a play might be coming out or just

Get ready for Saturday at this time um one of the big ones is Formula 1 um lines don’t come out for qualifying to literally an hour before qualifying but I think we can do a better job of let letting people know when is qualifying okay it’s Saturday at 2: in the

Afternoon so Saturday at 1:00 get ready because if we have any qualifying plays it’s going to be between this so and things like that aren’t that hard to do like Formula 1 the schedule is right there on the website all we need to do is communicate it to you know to people

So I want to get people ready and it’s going to be a lot of on this you know on the road to million show getting people ready so we know some of these plays are coming out so that’s something that I want to focus on um as well so for

Gambling goals so um all right here we go Corbin’s goals for Andy be more positive okay yes I need Andy to worry less Andy can sometimes freak out on us and get a bit worried a bit too soon sometimes or or it um what’s the word it

Puts you off for the weekend if we lose an early play play in NFL and he’s less sure about coming back with some plays later on even if we love them he’s it it can put him off sometimes for the weekend that’s the first one the the

Second part is to celebrate the great weeks more often it is very hard to make the profit that we do as often as we do I mean you you see it in the statistics we made 90 units and we’re number three on wager talk that’s a huge achievement that is a huge achievement

And I feel like we just need to celebrate those positive bankroll resets even more uh third part the third part is Tik Tok uh just marketing outside of the wager talk channels just I feel like we do a good job and I feel like people outside of the wager talk kind of

Audience need to learn and be aware basically of at least what we’re offering uh I know Andy started uploading again on his Tik Tok Channel if you want to give that a follow Shameless plug right there but it’s uh Andy Lang bets on Tik Tok uh just

Posting quick little bets free plays and information that could be a way that we keep people up to date I don’t know how Andy feels but he could easily upload a video at the start of the weekend saying what he’s got upcoming but that’s an idea so marketing outside of wager talk

Is my third one and then uh if you want to cue the video this would be a all right so we have a video here all right I don’t know if the sound’s gonna work okay oh you need to go back to the start I don’t

Know all right oh the sound doesn’t work the sound doesn’t work you get the idea Andy is C this is the kind of celebrations that I need on a bank roll reset day when we have made units look okay so you need me to celebrate

Like that when we do B reset I I would I think at the end of the video he says and thankk you that’s the road to Millions out and he stands up and walks away it’s a perfect perfect moment okay all right uh that’s pretty good man that’s pretty

Good I I’ll give that to you um okay so uh be more positive and and worry less what’s funny about that is most people say I’m very positive and I’m probably positive on the outside like kind of behind the scenes um but I do worry yeah

I I I I do I do wor I I worry quite a bit and I I think I am happy with the winning weeks I probably just don’t show it on the videos as much I think you’re you’re winning a little bit more production I do I need that I need what

We just saw in that video every week yeah um that’s good that’s a good one so all right all right so I I guess I can concentrate on uh on on on being more positive and worrying a little bit less I will say you and I come from different countries

And different like like do you want to tell the story about I it doesn’t matter like Kelly Kelly sent a a message in our slack Channel and just reamed a bunch of us and it was it was deservedly so she was like get your together on social media what

Is this what is that just Lac into it and so what was what was your response Corbin because it’s really funny what was your response to that I just said that’s not the way that we would do like it was very very direct I think is the

Word that I would used and uh over here we’d have like a softly softly approach we’d be like oh please don’t do that again or i’ would advise you maybe not to do that not like not like get your together this is this is awful kind

Of directness so yeah kind of call me a bit off guard but and and to the rest of us we were like yeah she’s probably right like that was that was the thing about it was it just didn’t phase me at all so I I think

We’re think we have a lot more ups and downs uh at least at least at wager talk so but it was a that was a very funny uh funny moment so um let’s go over a couple other things here here’s something new that I have for everybody

Um ways to get wager talk plays delivered to you this is for um if you’re if you’re a longterm access client I’ve discovered this and it works beautifully so here’s what I did create a brand new Gmail I just you could do your name wager talk Gmail just something that’s obviously nobody would

Ever have like John Smith wagertalk gmail.com make that your email that you get your wager talk plays delivered to you so no other no no other email should get sent to this email address change it in your wager talk profile or just let wager talk know this is the email I want

All my plays to go to on my iPhone all I do is click on Gmail go into settings notifications and I applied a ringtone that is only to that email so when I hear that certain ringtone go off it’s go immediately I know we got to play and

I got to tell you I’ve done it for two weeks and it is so much easier every time I hear that thing I know either Corbin’s uploaded a play or I’ve gotten an email from wager talk or or or something um it’s really really easy if you’re long-term access this took me all

Of five minutes literally five minutes to to do this so um go ahead and and do that if you’re worried about not getting plays or if you’ve missed some plays that have you know been given to you just have have an email that is only for

Wager talk plays I’ve done it two weeks it is uh it’s it’s a home run in my opinion so um let’s see here uh so Corbin I wanted to go over okay um yeah I worked on organizing plays letting people know when they will come out um I want to talk about

Constantly adjusting to the sports so I want to talk about UFC and college football team totals we added college football team totals to our Arsenal this year and talk about a home run 13 and four and this is something that we really have never done but we noticed

That we were good at Team totals in other sports and there’s something to be said about like forget the spread forget the total for the game can I just pick one team that I think is going to do good or bad on their total and that winning percentage was great

And the only reason that it was great is because a we had experience in other sports and B the lines were soft enough for us and this is something that I don’t think we would have experimented with and we certainly wouldn’t have pulled the trigger on in the past but it

Was an adjustment that we made because there were unique opportunities in the marketplace and we took advantage of it so we have to always be constantly adjusting to the sports I will tell you this Corbin I loged into DraftKings a week ago and bang there’s a new feature

Progressive parlays are right there on the front page this is never ever would you see this on on a Sportsbook in the last couple years but the sports books now they are constantly adjusting they’re putting out new plays there’s new markets and I just feel like in this

Day and age if you’re not adjusting to those you’re you’re missing the boat because there’s values all over the place um UFC so what what what was your takeaway from UFC from from last year I guess do you think I’m overreacting to it because I’ve talked to you I want to

Change most of the way that I handicap UFC and how I’m going to bet it what was your experience in UFC for last year yeah Mine mine’s probably slightly different to yours uh I definitely lowered the volume this year like previous years I would have had play I I almost would have picked

Something out for sure every week on cards the last year just gone less so towards the end of the year I got burned on a couple of uh favorites of people that I loved I remember I had Robert Whitaker uh money line versus uh the man

That I call the windmill uh dup dup and he got finished in the I think it was the second round it was so one-sided and that that really affect fected the way that I thought about UFC it takes a lot of research to delve into like all these fights every single

Week particularly with all the other sports that I I’ve got going on at the minute so I kind of I kind of put it on the back burner the play that I liked as well is I like a lot more of the to start round two so many of these fights

Andy will come into the to not go the distance but so there’s so many of these fights that I think are going to go the distance and I can parall two of them to just go to round two or over one and a half rounds and they get there easily

There’s like some women’s fights where they don’t have the power or the submissions and you can also use those as cross Sports obviously as well but they’re my main thoughts on UFC I’m probably scared off uh like favorites slightly less than you I know I’ve got

Uh well we’re not going to put it as a play so I’ll say I’ve got like Burns and um anlv together like I still like those kind kind of plays and how we used uh we used Rak manov towards the end of the year in a parlay like I still like those

Kind of spots maybe they stand out slightly more to me than uh than trying to find something on a card I let the things stand out to me I don’t almost go looking through each fight trying to work out certain stuff I also I know less about the new people coming in cuz

I haven’t had a chance to watch the contender series or the like these uh tough like Andy has time to watch all of those and all the film I do less well on those kind of fights where there’s a lot more unknowns so so in UFC like I think

We were we wanted to try and get ahead of the lines and we wanted to put out plays like you know really early and I got to tell you there’s some times where you can get burned like there is nothing worse than when you have a UFC parlay

And one of the guys the fight get gets canceled like 3 days before and you’re just sitting there like well well damn it I got one big favorite here so trying to beat the Lions was one thing but I think the judging has gotten so weird and so unpredictable in the UFC this

Year and I think there’s a couple reasons to it one of the the big thing is they’re fighting in different states like it’s not all in the same state anymore they’re fighting in Vegas and Florida and Texas and New York and different countries and you end up with

Different judges and the judges it is very obvious Corb they are not using the same criteria like yeah or they have different understandings of the criteria yeah so so I don’t know how many times I thought we had a win and then the announcer comes in announces a split

Decision and we’re on the wrong side of it so I want to get really really into it like you said to start round two and fights not to go the distance I want black and white very clearcut there is no judges it is either this fight did

Not Go the Distance or it did this fight started round two or it didn’t and I do follow the road to UFC and Contender series and I will tell you Corbin these Fighters that are coming in from these road to UFC and Contender series their fights are not going the distance that

Is going to be a big thing that I’m focusing on uh the the the female fights are kind of in a different category these younger fighters are coming in and they are of the generation where they know it is almost better to lose and excite fight than to win a really boring

One Dana White wants excitement like and so I’m going to be focusing on fights not to go the distance and fights to start round two there are going to be some money line spots that we can take advantage of but the money lines I’m just going to cut down big time because

They were just a thorn in our side at times and um getting out ahead of the lines was great until one of the fights got canceled and you’re sitting there with one fight left at like minus 400 that you weren’t a big fan of and then you get the dreaded judges decision and

You’re just sweating it out you’re like well I think he won round two I hope he won round three no I want the fight To Go the Distance or not go the distance that way I just know what the result is so um that’s the constantly adjusting to

The sports um UFC the college football team totals so um I’ll also use another one NHL I think I found a Hidden Gem with players to not have a point this year I haven’t really dabbled in that market but it’s been working well so far so I want to constantly be adjusting to

The sports as one of my uh one of my longer term goals so trying to think if there’s any other you had a couple I can’t remember some of the sports but it’s kind of like the soccer shot the player shots that would you know if you’re looking to attack that I feel

Like that’s going to be something that you’re adjusting more towards what the books are giving you this year yeah exactly there’s some players where I’m not going to take them to have two shots I normally like it at one or two shots you don’t normally see me doing three

Four five different shots even if I think they are going to get there it’s just adjusting to the formations the other players that are playing around them like if a team’s playing five players that are all greedy and love to shoot that takes away from the shots of

One particular player if there’s teams with just one or two shot makers really so that’s what I look for awesome awesome good stuff good stuff so that is kind of what we’re what we’re looking at so um let’s see anything else else uh that you have for me Corbin that besides

Some personal goals here these are things that uh that I want to work on for this year so uh one of the things you guys know that I have a production business and I have not paid myself for years from that business I’ve reinvested the assets I think most most people

Would tell you that’s really really smart but this year is the year where I got just I I I have to pay down business debt and pay myself and my co-owner so that is something we’re not going to be buying a lot more equipment this year

This is just going to be a year that we can start actually enjoying some of the profits of the business that we’ve uh that we built uh second is my health my blood sugar is still high I don’t have a lot of the bad effects of it but I’m

Making a huge push Corbin uh a very aggressive diet very aggressive working out and I am absolutely cutting down uh alcohol like you guys know I live on a lake it’s so easy in the summer to just blast out a six-pack every on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when you’re out you know

With your buddies and uh I’ve already started it um I have had basically no sugar this week haven’t had any drinks since New Year’s Eve and uh it’s amazing just in like four days my blood sugar’s down so I really want to I really want

To focus on that um so let’s see uh a couple other ones being more social I was so social before covid and I have gotten away from that I’ve gotten kind of obsessed with business and some other things and I find myself that when I’m

Alone it’s not good for me I just know this about myself so I am going to be doing a lot more social things with friends and family it’s something that I absolutely have to work on um being alone and isolated it’s not good for me

Which is which is odd cuz my wife is an introvert so she loves like being being alone a lot of the time she wants you out that house is this her go Andy is she trying to get you out of the house away from her I already do actually

Sometimes I will just leave for a couple hours cuz I know how much she loves her alone time so uh so I need to be uh a little bit better with that and then uh I need to follow through with a business that I’ve been dragging my feet on

Launching I’ve been working on it for about 6 months and it’s time to really launch it and put it into uh put it into the world it’s a really good business it’s a really good project um but I’ve been dragging my feet for the last few months and I need to not do

That I need to I need to launch that bad boy so those are some of my personal goals that I’m working for for 2024 so so H that was a lot uh and so no free plays but like I said I really really hope that uh this ends up being the most

Important show so I think we can stick to everything Corbin uh I think we got really really high hopes and um I do have to push back back on one thing you’re already number one in tennis why do you need to be more aggressive what do you mean more aggressive you can be

More number one though oh man I I this is the one thing you and I are just going to bump heads about I I like I just feel like you’re so good at tennis that if you just take the loow hanging fruit and just less plays I think you’re in you’re going to

Be even more profitable I really really believe that it’s a it’ll be fun because we’re going to go back and forth and like what leg do I have to stand on you’re number one like exact exactly I just need to say that to you and uh
