2020 this this tournament is just pure sadness for me it does not start the year off well for my betting needs yeah you should be looking for like an exact second place finish Pat um yeah no I haven’t had the the close calls that you have I remember being

Burned on that Justin Thomas one where he flipped those wedges in uh but yeah no I’ve usually been out of this one pretty pretty quickly clearly have no idea what I’m doing yeah so for those people who don’t miss John ROM I am one of those people because he stole my

Money here he stole my money at Riviera last year so good riddens to John ROM he can beat it and I will say I actually do believe I know it’s so silly cuz he’s one guy but I don’t know in this moment I feel like stuff kind of will feel wide

Circumvent those Waters a little bit or at least become acclimated to how those shots can play and usually that takes first timers a round or two I mean some guys can just hop into it we’ve seen at the Masters as well someone like Jordan spe has had no problems either here or

At Augusta or at TPC Deer Run which is another one that has some elevation swings and a lot of uneven lies throughout the course of the season so just keep those ones in mind if you’re looking for longer shots down but the good players tend to show up here I did

Me mention Harris English that’s sort of an outlier of the winners that we’ve seen at this tournament over the years and giant greens giant giant giant green they’re like 8700 square foot Greens on average so if you’re not hitting Greens in regulation you’re not doing anything right here a lot of three putts

Though tons of three putts slow greens and not gay not gay walks the fairways with a Ruler I forgot about that how nice is it to be flipping on we’ll flip on because it doesn’t start till late because they’re on Hawaii time obviously so you get your Prime Time Golf Thursday night it’s going to be most likely freezing wherever you’re at because it’s going to

Be know 11: 1100 p.m. in the evening uh pure Darkness probably like a sheet of ice over something because it’s right around freezing then you tune in to Golf Channel it just looks so lovely yeah so lovely they’re they’re playing great uh birdie bonanzas right someone’s this is where DJ almost had

The only protection this course has because the fairways are the biggest on the PGA tour in terms of width the greens are the largest there’s not a lot of rough because it’s hard to get off the fair away but it can start blowing pretty badly like when Justin Thomas won

I think it was the first time it was at-4 maybe that was the second time but then we saw cam Smith win at minus 33 two years ago so it can kind of go either way I’m always expecting like any bed I make is for birdie Bonanza well let’s do

That then let’s get into the odds draftking sports book right now Scotty sheffler is the favorite at 6 to1 Vic is 8 to1 H and morawa both 12 to1 Xander Klay and your boy ludvig oel 14 to1 Tom Kim and Jordan spe both 22 to1 Matthew

Fact I found even better numbers at other spots so it’s good news for me on that front but actually there’s three names that jumped out to me obviously I cannot bet all three of them because that wouldn’t make sense and trying to win money but for me it was Max hom

Colin morawa revenge for Colin morawa and Tom Kim who was T5 in his debut here a year ago so two of those names came to me in morawa and Tom Kim for a lot of obvious reasons but there were other names Pat when I said said like you want to feel I

Coming fourth twice so I think that makes a ton of sense obviously morawa was the runner-up he’s never finished worse than seventh at this event in his career so there’s just a lot of different ways that you can play this uh weirdly hland has been the one who’s

Really sucked at this course and that makes no sense to me yeah I guess in the preh hovin could win on Mainland we probably thought this would be a great place for him I don’t really have an answer to that I didn’t really give him thought at all like I

Didn’t I’m not I look right through Victor hin at 8 to one this is just bets I I can’t make in the same way I’m probably looking through Scotty Sheffer at that number and as for ludvic Pat like what the [ __ ] like what’s like the only place left to go is single

Of losing money on these guys exactly and I can’t believe it if you’d have told me like not a chance in the world not a chance in the world there’s a lot of things that have happened I didn’t think would happen but I didn’t think I’d be here the first

Doing nothing yet nothing yet I can’t see a world where I don’t bet morawa to get my money back I like I like that as well if I wasn’t stupid and having these thoughts of like just going down the well in some narrative place I think I would already

Have bet morow at the biggest number available the biggest number I can find is 15 to one right now yeah that’s like if I had to make a bet right now like I was on a shot clock that would like I just feel fine I wouldn’t feel alive but

I would just be like okay that’s a good bet I think that would be the more I think I’d walk out of with morawa i’ clicked twice if but I got nothing in my hand to click if you are looking for a future bet obviously we’re going to go

Through the ones that we like for the majors and frankly there aren’t a ton because the major Market is worse than your regular week PGA Market with all the value sucked out of it it’s better to bet the majors now unless you can find some sort of number out there and

Catch them sleeping essentially all the value is beaten out of them until the week of and then people readjust odds and guys fall down the board a little bit because as you’ve pointed out over the course of the past three years guys don’t fall down on major boards anymore

If someone is 20 to1 they’re staying 20 to1 regardless of how they play until that week guys can only kind of move up if a guy is 80 to1 and they have a great week well now all of a sudden they’re 40 to1 and they’ll never go below 40 to1

Again however in the to win a PGA Tour event Market on some sites that are out there where you can bet on the previous year’s winner there is a Tony feno 18 to1 to win the Mexico open here’s the problem I don’t know if he’s going to

Play in the Mexico open but since that tournament became a thing two years ago only two players have gone to play that tournament like two legitimate players I obviously it’s a full field like I had baa last year and he came third I wish he would have won that would have been

Nice but he didn’t Tony fena won because he also beat John ROM so John ROM was the other guy that used to go to that tournament now he is obviously out of the PGA Tour so he cannot go Fina went off at that tournament 8 to won last

Year and now Rah is gone if he decides to play it I can almost guarantee you no other top star is going to go play Yeah remember ROM was four fena was eight um now you can get now you can get him at 18 18 they probably would refund if he

Has won in the past be it last year at Bay Hill or on the DP World Tour they’re all win in fluence Coastal courses it just seems like a really big number and I understand that he’s you know far more likely to come in last place than first

Place but he is one of the few from down in that range that I think can win in a tournament like this it’s a pretty solid case I don’t really I mean list too those are well I’m happy to see there well the list one is weird because the ball striking has
