Now every golfer should listen to this because it’s going to directly affect how we watch golf now it’s no surprise because we leaked this story the other day that the Liv PPG tour deal is delayed like I leaked it I said it would be and it is now officially delayed with an official

Statement from the PGA Tour and rumors are that this is going to continue all the way up until the Masters to try and iron out a deal now we do have some new information on this and this is why it’s going to seriously affect how you’re

Going to watch golf because it’s come to light that there’s going to be four parties that are all going to be part of the PGA Tour Enterprises now in my mind I thought there was going to be three but that’s not the case and I’m actually genuinely shocked on this so welcome

Back to a breaking news story here on Batman film and happy New Year we are starting off as we mean to go on in 2024 with all the breaking news this is your place to get it honestly the only place that gets the honest breaking news now

Where we’re going to start with this is just give you an update that the 31st of December was the date set in from June earlier this year of when negotiations had their deadline to be sort of ironed out finalized that has not been met and is to be extended until next year

The PJ to statement on this is that they’re currently working towards a finalization of terms and drafting the necessary documents so by the sounds of things we are getting to towards the end of this process few key points you’ve got to pick out on this is simply there is an

Active and productive process and these are the words of Jay Monahan now one thing that I would say if J Maham wants to keep his job and I mean this like just honestly he better be keeping the players up to date and I don’t just mean the players on the advisory Council I

Mean just every single PGA Tour player and just simply because last time any news was broke the media were asking players like what you think on this and they were like I have no idea what you’re on about mate they knew nothing about it and I want to say right now Jay

Monahan please keep players up to date so let’s get into this crucial point and I want to say this is crucial because it’s going to directly affect how we watch golf now as far as I was aware we were going to have in terms of the investment the DP World Tour involved in

This the PJ tour and PF okay they were the three and how I was sort of well told how the media sort of portray this and how I reckon the PJ to portray this to the media is that there was going to be almost a competitor investment from an American company company an

Investment group and it was almost like the PF were putting theirs ahead and the Investment Group in America putting theirs ahead now that’s not the case it’s going to be a four pronged company so what we’re hearing from all the rumors is that the PJ tour wants to

Include the PF the DP World Tour the Strategic Sports Group as the minority co-investors for a for-profit venture including also the PJ T Enterprises so give you an idea we’d have PF DP wiltor strategic Sports Group and the PJ tour Enterprises and this would make up the

Company and have investment into it and the key words that they’re saying here minority now we don’t know what minority means we’ve heard that for a minority investment that the live golf we’re going to invest around $2 billion will that be the same I don’t know now the

SSG the Strategic Sports Group is a Consortium of us-based professional sports team investors led by the Fenway Sports Group owners of a Premier League Football Club Liverpool and the Boston Red Sox football team so it’s going to be really interesting to see how that shapes up that is some new news that we

Have found today that the PJ tour don’t want it to be too competitor Investments now I’m not sure what each of them will feel about that they want it to be everybody investing into PJ tour Enterprises in order for for the PJ tour to profit in

Order for the DP World Tour to become h a more desirable product and live golf tour I find this a very very interesting proposal and as soon as we get more information on this I’ll be sure to break it because this is your home of breaking news within the golf industry

For 2024 and Beyond this is your only place to get the honest breaking news

  1. We want Jay removed & start the talks without him. The Saudi funds are big enough not to bring in other money. Best just to run the PGA tour as is without increasing prize money to drive away USA sponsors.😀

  2. I get the impression that the PGAT was thinking about ditching the PIF and going with SSG entirely, which is why LIV ponied up and took Rahm. That was a shot across the bow… so now we have a four investor situation.

But I still say it all falls apart.

  3. Hi Alex happy new year. First gut reaction to the news, is that the pga is stalling, and wants to water down the pif involvement by bringing in different parts. I was always taught. If you don't want something to work. Form a committee. Looks like they are forming one.

  4. I have tried and tried to listen to you expecting some news BUT no just talking and talking round the houses, SO matey sorry but the style and lack of proper info that you constantly promise but don't deliver just doesn't work.

  5. Unless the PGA Tour begins to show serious respect for and support of the PGA of America, I hope they get crushed by the PIF. I trust Greg Norman and LIV promoting and growing the game than I do The Players and Governing Members of the PGA Tour. They have proven again and again that their support of growing the game is nothing more than lip service.

  6. Honestly does this even matter anymore? YouTube golf is the way forward. The top 50 golf YouTubers will have more views on the videos in a week (combined) than all the tours.

  7. “How we watch golf”

So irrelevant to those that want to “just play golf”

We have absolutely no say, so they’ll just do what they want to do🤷🏻‍♂️

  8. More investors into PGA means Jay can get his sticky fingers on more money to make even more money in 2024 than what he made in 2023…like I said before, Jay is in it for himself, not golf or the golfers. Liv should stay on their own, take the players they want when they want, and force the PGA into submission…

  9. I’m with what’s best for the players and now that I’ve seen both sides, seems to me the PGA deserves little respect in that regard and Greg and Phil were right all along.

  10. WHY no media coverage of LIV,PGA merge meeting, location, people involved.Wheres the world media ? THE biggest golf story in history is being ignored by the media.

  11. Looks like the PGA Board members are attempting to do nothing more than secure their seats along their Multi Multi Multi Million dollar salaries SO yet again nothing to do with the players

  12. LIV is a joke, and even adding Rahm, the ratings will still be in the toilet, as nobody gives a crap about exhibition golf!

  13. Japanese firm 20+ years ago bought Pebble Beach – golfers felt it should stay in with USA – stopped playing there – had to resell to local co. PGA / LIV better watch out I’m not impressed with LIV -having watched on tv

  14. This whole issue is glaringly similar just like existing politics inside the USA. The days of bullying others, lies and deception are gone. The world has caught up, become more advanced and educated. With growth comes change. The real sinking ship can now be seen. Players, Sponsors, purported sports team investors and fans, especially fans outside the USA, the global majority are growing too. Growing weary with the PGAT and growing more excited about the game otherwise and where it is headed. Lead, follow, or get out of the way days seemingly have passed as the sands of time in the hour glass for the PGAT are soon to be a thing of the past as the hour glass goes to empty. It now, Jan 1st, 2024, not Dec 31st,2023 with no deal in sight and is too late to recover.

  15. Future of golf IMO
Top tier: World golf. Tournaments played all round world + team events. 72 players or possibly more.
2nd tier: PGAT and DP tours.
    3rd tier: next best tours.
    Promotion/ Relegation
Bottom 4 World Golf players relegated to 2nd tiers. Top 2 of PGAT and DP promoted to the top tier. Continue relegation/promotion through the other tiers. Probably financed and controlled by PIF. Just an idea like others.
