Taking like Littler cares about football when darts is his passion. It's arrogant to suggest he'd prefer a football related trophy. Much harder to win the darts on your own
Darren, The question isn't is football better than darts?, the question is it harder to win the pro world darts championship at 16 than it is to win world cup at 17?…🙄
Why would a pro darts player prefer to win a different sport? That is the most mental thing I've ever heard. What loooks better on a c.v.? For what job, a job thats darts related or football related. What looks better, 2 goalss in the world cup final or a 9 dart finish in a world darts final.

Totally ridiculous comparing Littlers achievement so far to 17 year old Pele in 1958. Pele scored 2 goals in the Final against the hosts Sweden and also in the Semifinal against France. Littler hasn’t played a top player yet, with Kist ranked 91, Barney 29, Dolan 28 and Gilding at 20. He’s done great but wait till he plays someone in the top 10.

It's impossible to compare but. In terms of winning on individual sports I don't think there's many that win before they mature into their 20s (outliers like Stephen Hendry or Ronnie O'Sullivan do exist) but to win in individual sports takes different skills than in a team sport. Of course it's not like Littler has faced the best of the best yet and Rob Cross will be the first time he'll play someone of the contender level. The pressure will build then and we'll see how he handles it. Rob Cross, MVG or Luke Humphreys is likely to do a job on him at some point. But it would be incredible to get through that and win. Just as Rob Cross was incredible when he won it at the first attempt.
How does Darren bent get paid for this
