practice on one leg to create a more consistent strike and better vertical forces in your golf swing
You’re going to do a drill for finding a consistent bottom to your swing so the reason one of the I mean there can be different causes but one of the reasons people don’t have a consistent bottom is that they’re moving the center of their swing around too much so you can move
Your lower body quite a bit and still maintain a center but a way easy way to feel what’s staying in one place and this is also a good drill for feeling how to drive your swing with a more vertical so if you re eliminate the possibility of a lateral move you are
Forced to then power with is sort of going up down and up the advantage this is there’s no way for me to move off center I have to stay on one point so I’m just there’s just enough weight on this toe to just sort of support the weight of the leg without
Anything else happening so feel it’s a good way to feel a correct emotion to drive your trainer as well just to just work on one leg like this so I’ve got that healing now and if you’re really having trouble making consistent contact spend some time with this and just look at
Where you’re hitting the ground now on one leg you should feel like your contact on the back swing kind of starts here and goes back and on forward swing starts here and goes forward so now just find the right so first off find where that point
Is that’s there for me now look down see where I am and then move myself into the right place here all right and for a lot of people you’ll probably hit you probably able to hit it just as well off of being 90% on the front leg as your normal
Stance because it will free up your rotation even as it limits your ability to try to hit something with your arms so we’ll try this again and you’ll notice that it also will straighten up your ball FL cuz you can’t basically uh you don’t move your Center you’re coming back to the same
Spot and you’re going to be pretty Square do one more so it requires a tossing move in the back swing and then just let everything rotate through so nice easy rotation so work on that move particularly and you can see it’s just as long really for me as that’s a
Pitching with it’s just as long as standing on 2 feet so um yeah it’s a good thing to on so work on with your trainer first your trainer will especially inform you so you will let me go back to the club so if you’re used to hitting with your arms you will
Attempt to do that and find that it’s very hard to balance and make anything happen in your swing if you don’t start using your up and down motion and rotation so that’s what you want to learn and then with the trainer it’s pretty much impossible to do anything but a proper
Motion especially on one foot so you get on one foot pretty hard to lever the trainer up you have to start using this nice little sit and throw move sit and throw get that feeling of the timing of that thing I said before and I think works well for people imagine you’re
Still swinging the trainer you’ll notice a couple points when you do that you won’t probably do this off the ball because you would never do it with the trainer and you will let it pause and drop better those are important things in your swing so one foot get yourself
Where you need to be where you can stay balanced toss it up rotate through
