Length and bread of our glorious Nation yeah it’s it’s taking us to all the corners of this beautiful country we in sh shur also known as t nagar Steel City look at that what a Marvel this city is and what Tata steel has done for sport and the country and now that
Magnificent football Academy all this also say that it’s like the the engine of India as far as infrastructure goes and the Big Wigs this week the heavy hit Ajit Buller Rah ganji Anga Chima we saw some brilliant action and for those of you who are joining us on this crisp morning I I’d
Like to tell you that we are live at the Tata steel TOUR Championship 2023 being played from gold muray and B Golf Course right here in jamshedpur t Tata nagar the price fund is rupees three CR I’m your host Shia Singh joined alongside my co-host Amit du we’re going to be taking
You through this penultimate day action on the moving day as it’s Cally called yeah you know it’s uh it’s it’s an unusual event it’s played over two golf courses the co m golf course and the B golf course so the pros are playing the front nine at goldmore and the back nine
At B and it’s a part three the starting hle it’s unusual to find a part three at the starting hle very underwhelming from AED somebody we saw the previous week in in jaur really firing on all cylinders fantastic player what a shot he hit on that 18th hole I’m still to get over
That and uh talking about Champions look no further Rashid Khan now many who to come in this shape and size and perform so well he’s just a Marvel this man yeah he’s playing with another but good play in this group Hangar Raja at the third
So and this you know they can fear of each other if they start these guys are good players they can you know use each other’s momentum to go well it doesn’t look like it seems like if anything they’ve started u rather cautiously both of them not up to
Par on the first hole rashid’s ball is still missing in action as you have a looked at the power built kangar Raja yeah he’s um one of those Bly characters who you know muscles himself I think golf is so much easier when you got that Big Bly strength behind you but
Not not to take anything away look at that compression on that nice and smooth good transition there you can see that he’s a little he likes to move it left to right it’s more on top of it and rash double crossed it context the players uh would be going with a 79 here
This hold place to about 185 and the flag pin positions a little to the front so I Reon should be about 180 so maybe a 79 they would expect to be at least within 25 ft so for the players missing the green not the most Shining Moment
Right there especially for AE was a good thing he does have an uphill shot and looking at the scores it’s going to be an interesting V gagan jit Buller probably one of the most decorated Indian players with the number of Victories he has on the Asian he’s number one amongst total number of
Victories on the asan 10 victories if I’m not wrong just goty was the one before this and talking about 10 Victor Look at om prash Chan yeah now there’s a there’s a scenario where he could get toppled if Aman Raj uh wins this one a chance so there is um permutation
And combination there om prash currently at 6 under 30th position Aman Raj 8 Under e you pull it it goes you can see the on the right right double cross yeah he’s not that good with that short moving from left to right it makes a living on the
Draw but not so much on the Left Right F that’s not shot that comes naturally to him yeah you know he’s got fast hands through the through the ball that people fast hands generally like to move it right to left you know you want to make
Your hands more passive if you want to move it left to right you know it’s a very long green though this one it’s the depth is amazing for a party of that play anything clubs three clubs yeah you could be hitting a five to the back pin
Position and a seven to the front it’s a kidney shaped narrow long green s starting so going first it snuggling it up close getting a SP on number one really makes it look easy does actually he’s so good with those shots around the spoke at length about that the previous
Week our tournament directors had a f day with it you know the pin positions today so it’s going to be going to be good scoring today from the pin positions we see let’s see how Rashid hits this part the first part of the morning have a little
Bit of nerves and it is a long one so distance might be not that easy to judge but yes leaving a little short leaving about good four 3 and 1 half ft little bit of a test for him coming back yeah to bad he’s left himself a
Very very makeable one not much slow on it from that side and uh this is you know for generally people who playing golf club golfers the tour average from 50 ft you would not lose any Strokes to the field if he had hit it that close so he
Actually has lost Str he was maybe a foot more further away then he would have been in Strokes G I think we kind of missing the point that the name Rashid Khan and average unfortunately don’t jel Rashid Khan is anything but average he’s phenomenal he’s fantastic and he’s
Spectacular but not on that occasion maybe get a few chances later as we get to our bit you know he got a good read from rash he knows the now so that quite a hit it’s uh you can see the difference in Grain there’s a left right and right to
Left converging at the home Taja electing to finish out actually to play fast you know I wish I could just when you said that he likes to play fast I thought that I’ve yet not been afflicted by that Melody I like to play my own nice wling pace and enjoy the game of
Golf you don’t get too many rounds in life and make sure you make the most we have a look at Rashid Khan confident but that’s where he separates himself from the field from inside three fet that’s that’s you need to be that good from that if you want to
Score well you can’t be thinking about three Footers you need you know you’re if you want to win golf tournaments you need to be just you know practice it so much and have so much confidence in your ability that you can just walk up and hit it yeah beautiful scenes from jamshedpur
From the Gold maray golf club we have two of them out there gold maray and B we play the front n at gold today and the back night at B two set so the uh the players shut it after finishing uh their front line they shuttle it to B
Which is probably about 4 5 km away and then uh we finish up at B Golf Club it’s rather unique the way this tournament is held across two different lines as I said taale of Two Cities I’m not too sure that if there many tournaments that have the same format
You do have different 18 holes being played but rarely do you see two different nines as we have a look at the big group here yeah this is the group of uh our leader group on on the te yeah it’s almost across Generations you have gagan jit angut probably the youngest gagan
Jit well into his mid-30s Ry G’s 40 I believe mid 40s if I’m not wrong should be like he’s about four five years younger than me so no maybe 43 yes you have riy I think um gagan jit should be about 34 35 maybe and then you have
Angad maybe about 32 years I tend to get his age wrong I way you get an idea but this is not they’re not spring chickens any of them at least the good thing is you’ve seen some experience come to the FL I’d like to see it because you’ve seen an
Onslaught of Youth and the youth has drowned the experience but maybe not this week this as they say the The Empire Strikes Back well you know uh experience counts in this game a lot you learn a lot from experience and you know how to handle yourself this is all about you
Know learning how to handle adversity and pressure yeah you’re looking at like the likes ofp J Rashid Khan sh these are experienced players you also have the youngsters at the heels shamim KH to see him at eight under 14 position last shamim Khan Miss cut Haven I wonder what they’re joking
About really has Pleasant disposition about himself when he play never really feels the very unique player in that aspect be walking chipping he’s still joke around with you few walking with him and he’s very relaxed even prior to the execution of a shot very limited negative energy that I
See him you know I think there’ll be a lot of stories between ra and G having played on on thean tour for a short before R went off to the con tour but forers who don’t know rahill first professional go victory was not on the pgti it was
Actually on the Asian tour he won on the Asian tour before he won on the PGT and I think was the The Beijing the Volkswagen Beijing open like you know it was surprised all of us because we thought he was going to win in India before he wins abroad so you know
Sometimes you know if you keep at it things unfold and so you should always believe in yourself you know I was listening to a podcast of Bryson Shambo the other day he his first uh tour first tournament on the PJ tour after you know coming out of college was serson farms
And he finished fourth and after that he missed 14 Cuts in a row really quite the story there and you don’t want anybody to be going through that 14 miscuts is a lot of days without money yeah he said money on that time and uh you can you imagine how much self
Believe he had you know to you know you can start doubting everything you believe in 33 so we’ve picked up a year since the last time I did speak about aging like fine wine two victories and seems like he’s been a professional since quite a
While he’s a good kid you know he’s got a good head on his shoulders I just you know I love the way he transl I there’s no he gets to the ball puts a lot of cheese on it not a pin position he likes to move
It right to left this a left right pin sorry so oh not that is going to affect and look at the amount of compression that he put on that’s what I said he puts a lot of cheese that the first shot that we’ve seen it stopped within inch
Even Tanga took about good 7even eightt for the ball to come to rest shows you that does mean business a few more victories under his turn 45 so you did get your friends age wrong yeah I but that’s a true friend you know they always think you’re younger than
You are and I’m certain that he look at R still in fine FAL producing a lot ofar Striker down lik the shot look at that surprising that this group obviously no you know hung ball landed on the left side downhill down so going to release more on the left but
Really these players are switched on right from the get goal now this is the man the big hit gag 23 professional victories won healing from Kap and coming from very good sport lineage as well had a fantastic Junior Amateur professional and only seems to get better very good friend of mine we
Played a lot of amate gol together look at that swing it’s a thing of beauty is this man’s called swing change much lazy like a Sunday morning look at that a lot of lag into that you know that’s kind of one of the so you see the ones that go left go a
Bit long because you know you trying to move it one way and it doesn’t so you know just feeling a little bit of nervs the others have you know asked a question of him on the first hole itself he’s he’s two shots ahead of his playing companions it’s
Never going to be easy on the professional golf tour of India in no free lunches here especially here this week because you playing for such a massive price fun the biggest ever in Indian domestic uh tour history you’re talking about the Tour Championship worth three this is the big one the
Crowning jeury crowning Glory my apologies we get to excited then to eat our own words but that’s what happens when you playing so much price fight as could easily be on the asan tour with that kind of priz money yes easily and the depth and quality of the
Field is second to none this week you have gagan Buller Ang Chima rahil ganji Rashid Khan Tanga Raja K coacher is on the asan touri aders here cha the American for the viewers the cut is not applied this week because it’s a limited field event 75
Players 60 from the from the top 60 from this year and whites and 50th position is at so just showing you the depth of the field yeah currently there are a total of 61 players who under part it’s just um an incredulous number if you think about scoring this way it
Shows you the depth of Indian professional golf and our pgti you know progress has you know has it effect on the as we have so many more Indians playing really well you know in the top 30 of the Asian tour compared to yesterday yes so the depth of your local tour is
Is the Catalyst for professional golfers our professional golf is playing well there AB it’s going to be an interesting day here to see how these players face these two different golf courses they’re obviously going hell for leather on this one it’s a lot easier this nine on the gold belly is very diff
Smaller Target ball doesn’t quite stick onto the green coming out from that coming off that crab grass the ball doesn’t you don’t get clean impact either you tend to catch fly colleague amid du lot of experience a lot of stories to tell and I’m pretty sure that we going to regail our viewers
With those stories for the next five five and a half six hours well I hope I keep can keep everybody entertained as we have a look at gagan jit here that ball bobbled up a little bit yeah you know I I was surprised chice he made
With the butter you know um he’s getting be playing prep for lies and tear up you can get a good contact with the wedge you can see moment the ball jumps it’ll always come up surprising Choice by him seems like he’s not uh he’s gone with the safer outout I would have expected
For him to probably go with the wedge and that’s there probably about seven legitimate six legi opportunities for the players to make red numbers so for those who don’t know he shot 62100 yesterday oh just this is tataa steel and this is an idea so what happens when you join them
Something remarkable like the material of the future fiber reinforced polymers that goes beyond steel that is high on strength and corrosion resistance and is cost effective a material that will be used in foot over Bridges the insides of R compartment and electric vehicles as also an infrastructure for smart cities tomorrow
Is shaped by imagination and steel tataa steel we also make tomorrow 10.3 so really that’s pretty quick for gold yes and uh for B they’re playing at nine which is fairly comfortable speed 10.3 is quite quick as we have a look at Ang capitalize after that brilliant shot that was really 10
On 10 that’s the kind of first shot that you want this one should move a bit from his pretty straight actually you know the great the grains left to right slopes right to left so won’t do much let’s see if I got this one right show
You oh yes he did just the the the grein wanted to push it off to the right you can see the difference where ganga jit’s coming from the grain right to left so his his turn right to left and straight the lead could be shared in the
Blink of an eye and that’s what uh professional go pretty much a highspeed Chase so as to speak kagit with that erent Chip Shot my apology that manufactured chip with a poter that’s known as a Texas wedge yes sir gets windy in Texas say if it’s going to be a
Hya Texas style look at that very self assured and relaxed the way he went about it it looks not it again he walked it in he’s really strolling about looks very confident he always been like that that’s his demeanor he his swing reflects his demeanor as well there’s no
Hurry in his Hall string he’s very me you know what when I was growing up and sorry not growing up and I saw him first you know he had has a little bit of joy and G in him yes you know he’s got the demean meaner of uh je around the green
He’s very you know slow and you know methodical and then he has that his swing the way he finishes has a little bit of joy in it so I just like oh this one is like a mix of these two and I guess you know we we don’t realize it
But up and we see people playing around us we start emulating I think it wouldn’t be far from a won’t be a stretch all of us used to try and emulate jtia swing at Army Golf Club When We Were Young all of us used to try and you know emulate because there if
You see there’s a lot of body English that goes into ji swing the way he reads the line there are those unique mannerisms we try to you know the way he Tred to almost almost pounce on a butt it’s it’s very athletic the way he used
To go about things when he made that shot uh you know that brilliant shot that was heard around the country if not the world that 16th whole eight into the hole so you know we even used to emulate that hit a shot and throw our club so
Obviously your Heroes have a big bearing on how you end up in my case obviously the game didn’t end up like that but I can definitely talk about it well JY hasm it’s very uh he has his own idiosyncrasies as you can say and uh you know being a close friend and
Uh I you know had I was very conscious of you know this is Ste and this is an idea so what happens when we join them marvelous like that are like but yes he definitely got us to you know better ourselves I was just wondering why isn’t
He playing this week you know he’s got the game yeah maybe something going to a schedule class or not quite sure you his better friend I’m sure that You’ know that uh maybe you need some time off when you’ve played golf all uh throughout your your
Life at some point in time maybe just want to relax a bit as you have a look at Rashid Khan here at the second all this is Eagle territory it’s it should be nothing more than for the longer hitter the driver and a six on and maybe for the medium
Hitters a driver and a 4 and or at most maybe a rescue it’s a very straightforward ho it’s how you bend to it there’s a bunker at about which finishes at about 285 on the left and then it’s a pretty straight on 58 yards there’s an out of bound on the left hand
Side that does impede a little bit in terms of the line that the player can takea touch there and you can see that it is you know it is 10. because I thought that was going to come up short actually Tang Raja AA Sharma and Rin Khan on the second hold power
Five so for the viewers this is uh birdie Blitz uh territory gold murri five three power five very reachable you know some breach shortage PA for so you head up to to a fly here yeah you look at the first is is a little challenging
With that flag but it is still not a bogey hole the first part you can still make B birdie there he going with a 79 as you see that part from a also would make birdie second is a definite birdie hole the third playing only 495 yard I
Mean it is a tight hole to be honest there is a hazard running the entire left hand side so you do have the option of trying to hit a driver on the right hand side Fairway which is about a 40 yard Fairway or maybe a rescue in your
Fairway and then uh get something like a 4 iron if you’re a driver to the right you can get anything from a six iron to a seven iron even so just depending on the kind of play that the players employ so definite birdy hold and you go to the fourth only
278 many players opt to go with an N of the te let’s have a look at Rashid Khan I have a feeling this could actually be really close he’s got a he’s got a good read from upes but you know he’s can he’s can see it I think he’s just pulled a
Bit yeah that’s that’s his measure for a bad part that missed the hole by 1 cm he he had a spot which he wanted to go over and he missed that spot so he knew that he was not going to get it in so he make
A birdie here nevertheless so not a bad start this is more like a 4.25 4.5 so players looking to make bird here so as you look at the fourth hold so the fourth is one that has hazards flanking the entire Fairway on both the sides but these longer hitters can get
There with the three-wood so it’s it’s pretty about if you here is if you there’s there bunker on the right as well from what I remember right yes there’s a bunker but there is enough space to be able to carry that bunker is probably 275 carry so they can actually hit a
Three all the way up till the green the the fifth ho is a tricky part three sort of a turtle back green with Hazard on the right and lot of undulations around it uh the sixth is a difficult par for you have to lay up and then probably get like a 79
In 7even and in seventh a difficult part three so there are these two holes which are a little tricky the eighth as well as a lot of distance and narrow so and and the nin then gives you a birdie opportunity but if you’re on song you
Can make a yeah so this you know the the third and second third four pole are your is budy country tangara which is birdie partner number two good read so third person this group with his birdie part coming up a Sharma sh C at 10 under four shots back behind our leader
Ganit B takes him to 11 under all three in this group have uh buried the bar 5 second hole and are can see the short traser into our first hole part three the Pion gives you a really nice uh starting point overcooking it a bit the beautiful drone use of gold Mar golf
Course in jur we are here at the Tata steel TOUR Championship 2023 which is our season Ender it’s a limited fette 60 75 Pros in total no cut and walking price money of 3 crores so this is the 20th event of the PGT season for 2023 and
U it’s um The Winner Takes back price money check 45 lakh rupees that would really change the the top order of Merit if Aman Raj would to win this week and you know since Amon is very and truly in the thick of things so but most likely I
Think um but it is substantially lead om prash Chan looks set to take the order mer title and this is the fifth edition of the T championships 2019 it was Udan man won in 2020 our leader of D came up on top 21 Udan again and then through it
Was our defending Champion is Chapa and uh we have the tournament record is presently with Udan man seted in 2019 with a Waring 26 under power 262 so this event is played over two golf courses we play the front nine at golday and the back nine at B Golf
Club it is uh our Flagship event on the pgti we have two jamed based professionals also in the field Karent Tonk and kurui this is our order of Merit leader on your screen on prash Johan playing his 10 he started at belly so going steadily playing alongside on prash is
On your screen am Malik l number one B there 10 Pole 200 today after 9 and he’s just finished his front line at B which is a tougher nine gold has this relatively easier than B having three power fives and couple of short power fours Ang
Jima one shot back right now after B birding number one check one number two judging it really well leaving himself with a t for bir number two which will take him to 14 under which is where ginit Singh our leader finds himself presently the trio of gagan jit rahill and angat our leader
Group you can see the two different shades of green that is the grain the way the grass grows on the green so when you see it dark it’s it’s growing into you and you see it’s shiny it’s growing away from you so this part is going to
Be slow initially and as it goes up the hill it speeds up so this these are the ones that are difficult to judge and she coming up a bit shy back to the split screen always makes things a little more exciting as long as you can gauge which
Hole is currently in view for that’s our autom leader home prash playing his 10th hole the first hole in golday yeah the first hole in goldar is difficult part three we playing prefer Li this week so for the vi wondering what he’s doing he’s actually playing
Prefer Li makes life a lot lot L easier at least with the short him and the you know Wes approach shots says Rahel here on hole number three if I’m not wrong or hold number two number two but that’s an e part yes I think oh he two really good
Parts you know he’s he’s he’s not left a not miss it on the lower side you know this is this is a good sign as far as fting is concerned especially you know makeable 10 12 Footers 20 Footers they too negative that you don’t want to see yourself doing it’s leaving
It short or missing it on the Lower Side git with his birdie part he’s got a good read from rah’s but this uh you take him 15 under and he’s just walking these ones and he’s so confident about his read and his his putting right now it’s you know it’s
Going to be difficult to dismantle him because when you’re putting well you know you just uh confidence putting is the key to scoring and if you’re putting well your confidence is generally High yes it all starts from the green and if you can just hold the Parts in life does get a little
Easier anath and his C discussing the intended line of play yeah this this one moves appeared from stsh very stsh part tangar Raja had it for his bir a few moments ago Aman Raj making aies two under today 10 under this should move a little left right and uh comfortably done by anima
It’s currently sitting at 13 and with that birdie would move to 14 under power yeah then just um still find himself one short DFT of our leader ganit who’s move to 15 this will take uh riy to 13 under you would think that the players
Will slow down on the other nine but U seeing that the players are in such brilliant form they’re able to make a few birdies there as well even though that Golf Course is a lot more difficult Ryan has his fiance on his bag this week congratulations to Ry
Now a few weeks ago we were trying to figure out who she was remember at the Grand th yes and now the mystery has been uh unraveled and uh seems like his game that’s always a good sign if if your profession is going along well with your with the new beginnings in your
Life then obviously everything is hunky Lory and he couldn’t have asked for anything to be better than this he’s currently sitting in at 13 under par Israel so long me lady lady smile upon him and this is CH on your screen our Baron’s from Chicago playing on the
PBT yeah there’s something um I know that Baron is an American there’s something very American about the way that his mannerisms or the way he plays the game it it it U it feels a little like he’s reminds me a little bit a bit like sah tala you know his whole how
He’s going about things yeah demina is definitely one of that of a player who plays on the PGA tour he’s he’s very in control and non not that emotive that he’s used to bigger stages I don’t know how quite to emote what I’m trying to say but it’s something that if you look
At him there are some unique unique tickers and the way that he plays the game not very Indian I mean not very very internal yeah but he’s not played much on you know haven’t I haven’t seen him practicing he comes from same home call and I don’t
See him practice the way he used to so probably things going on yeah I think so this is the part 31 17th if I’m not wrong some I thought this was the 11th looked a little bit like the 11th but soon find out we can actually see the scores where the is
So we ground this to six yes so this must be indeed the seven part three yeah this all players probably playing a six sign of the D long B three yeah this is the the eth or 17th e and B 17th for our tournament this week
And it’s um it’s about 180 yard 90 three alongside M Dharma rather unique to see him without his red pants first time seeing him in electric blue but definitely one that does favor a lot of color feeling a bit subdued this week I know the red might come out
Tomorrow I was definitely started that uh Trend with everybody wearing red on the final day yeah this is um well thma is uh got his homemade gol swing and his homemade pting technique he’s but he’s meticulous you know he all you all are see good s
You can see them if it works like that you might as well make it at home you there used to be a person on PJ tour ages ago his name was Isa Aoki Japanese Legend yeah and he used to putt with his you know the the toe of the putter really up
Really just the heel of the putter was touching the ground and you know um all the butter butting butter manufacturers said okay shall we make a butter for you that will you know mat your putting technique he says you can make it but don’t touch my putter so
Because you know he knew how it works with him and and they made one for him and it didn’t work because you know the whole balance was a bit not the way he was used to it so this is for coming back this is a club that uh has not
Really favored VR too much the putter has always been his ail’s heel you see there’s a difference in the way that he puts I spoke about it the previous week with AE tent with which he putts the putt always crosses the hole and you see it always skimming the hole vant on the
Other hand you rarely ever see that no matter what the distance that that intent where is going beyond the hole about a foot foot and a half you know you know there’s a there’s a there’s a there’s a player on the PJ to who now
Plays on live his name is Charles how II they said that Charles Howard if he had hit his butts past the hole he would have won numerous rounds on the PG which he didn’t he won a few but um you know it’s something maybe Vian wants to look
Into getting the feel for um hang but past the hole especially on those 15 20 Footers you if you don’t hit past the hole you’re not going to make it and that’s how you see players like Rashid Khan a Jamal lot of these guys they always if you see them on average
If you can see the statistics I I we tried to have a keen I previous week in fact on the final day had a very good discussion with aish we saw that there was only one part out of entire 18 parts that he left short that’s showing you
You know the first signs of nerves is when you start leaving putting putt short that’s looking at him talk of Talk of the devil definitely not the devil but you look at the way he putts has that um sort of forward press very assertive very dominant uh way of
Putting so forward press also as swing starters basically you know somebody crossing the hole Again by a foot foot and a half he’s always like that and that shows confidence by the way uh in your ability on whatever it is your line read or the way you stroke
It it’s I mean you can only do it when you’re confident from inside three three and a half ft and also uh you know you Von doesn’t play as much as he used to sh because you know I know him personally and these things come from regular play on the golf course
Tournament play you know he’s just going for tournaments and then he goes back into I guess something or whatever it is so these guys are regular golfers on that on their Golf Course when they’re not playing tournaments they at least playing nine holes a day at least which
You and I don’t get to play by the way so we have our problems in getting the pace of the green SC yeah I think but obviously you can jot a few things down down to rust but at the end of the day you are a professional competing
Fulltime and you’re competing with them uh not not to take anything away from any player practice isn’t the only answer to becoming that good I think some players are just innate innately better puts it’s very difficult to have that sort of a uh stroke which is so
Pure that you’re always going beyond the hole and on the intended line You’ll see very few players will be putting in that Fashion on the entire field maybe a handful will have that sort of putting accuracy and speed again adding adding on the side of caution but uh going to be difficult to
Get this one Clos with the poter you’re at the mercy of the elements and that first initial bounce will be a very good guess if it goes close you know he’s got three different surfaces he’s got this long grass he’s putting from then he’s got a the Fab
Grass then he when he hits the green that’s it’s fast so you know it’s not too bad actually yeah not too bad I would say probably an eight on 10 yeah it’s all right I think you know if I was chipping it that far I would be
I would been okay with it yeah still has little bit of work left life with via always full of altitude very straightforward hole just two there two bunkers that come up short TI landing area for your drives you want to hit at around 2 70 yard off
The te which will leave you about 150 yard for your approach pins on the top left today spot break a little from right to left and gang very comfortable got a good read on also you know it’s surprising to see sh call not playing well to speak you know
We’ve been used to seeing him up up on the last two four or five groups yeah he’s U has his unique uh ways of playing the game of golf do shiage playing alongside endary di vij Singh your dear friend Mr di VI Singh well um on the right is our Co M course
Which is the front nine the bar five fourth hole relatively easy 495 yards and the third member this group finishing up finishing up har gangar probably the first time that we’ve seen broadcast from two different Golf Course simultaneously Waterhead moment of sorts yeah you can imagine you know Kos to AB
They’re actually covering it from two different Golf Course simultaneously yeah for our viewers uh to tell you that there’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes especially with the professional golf tour of India team and the ABB team as well to get this
Together you got a lot of cabling um a lot of relay points and a lot of technical things involved in order to get you live action right from the heart of jamshedpur golf anyway is probably the toughest spot to cover life because it’s not over one field it’s over 120 Acres
So and you know different points you know it’s it’s probably the most difficult spot to bring live absolutely and so we request that if we are making this effort you also please stay glued to your television or your phone or your laptop screens on this wonderful Saturday morning sip your chai or coffee
And watch some interesting golf as you have a look at anima here at ho number three the par five I assume that he would be here in two front flag pretty inviting the players the players would have been able to very very accessible flag seven in Center flag pretty
Straightforward he’s he’s looking at it with the point of view of holding it see he’s going to give it a nice goal I think he has you see that oh look at that that’s so unfortunate he just got there oh went in and got sped
Out got him for a tie with I think if the flag wasn’t there that would have been in the hole and you thing you see it’s leading a bit towards he should have just you know MDD it up yeah that’s very unfortunate for Ang that that
Really looked good and uh I think had the speed as well it wasn’t U too fast either it’s just plain unlucky and he’s gone he’s got a hatrick to start off with he’s bued all the first three holes find himself at 15 under presently sharing the lead with gagan
Which might change after this S gagan and R both have eag parts coming up playing earlier times amep our one of our fellow golfers he’s his his wife used to carry from used to wonder man she’s such a strong lady just used to have big bag also there was no trolleys
At that point time yeah the staff bag I do remember that they made quite a formidable team in terms of touring now this part should break a little from his right and sort of get faster as it goes down hit three two really good parts so far this
Wasn’t too bad either yeah it’s just over more maybe you know the grain Gets Man he just walked his Parts in So Far So ring up that is such a g like deina in all three parts today that’s like a it looks really comfortable as well over the part just over every facet of the game does go first look at sakim with bar five and B Of um so right s s ahed and JRA as well mhm the South Pole reminds me a little bit of Rocky one surprising the opponent the South Pole I don’t know if there’s any such similar advantage in golf what do you reckon I is there any advantage or disadvantage that I think
Now equipment is also readily available maybe in yester years that that would get you a little hamstrung because you would not be able to find the requisite for your clubs to come bro you know it’s there I know so many people who are left-handed started playing golf right handed because they couldn’t get
Equipment sakip with his uh looks like his could be more than a birdie he’s goinging a really hard look Sak currently at even par for the tournament so is uh not having the kind of weak that the majority of players are but it’s never too late to change that can see
That exalted by that part as he’s followed by sukra who’s often found in a red and black in on the third day or the fourth so that’s uh our leader is now at 17 under he’s gone P birdie eagle sh and Ang has gone birdie birdie birdie R
Has gone P birdie birdie tangar has gone far bird bird rid’s gone far bir bird Kik Sharma has gone far bir bird so a lot of people making going getting off to a fast St today yeah it’s U the Q School happens at the same golf course
But believe me people don’t play the same manner I play exactly they you know these golfers are making a meal or that obviously and rightly so for them this would be easy pickings but uh just tell our viewers these holes are not that easy the second
And the third hole they don’t play that much in terms of length but course just sort of flanked by water hazard OB on the left on the second hole which is pretty much in play if you tget a little bit to the left on the third you do have
Water on the entirety of the left hand side so it’s not that easy as they’re looking at as they’re making it seem you know surprisingly so the sukra bad is from Nepal and place tomorrow is shaped by imagination and steel Tata steel we also make
Tomorrow a lot of we have one of our friends tan he was probably the one of the first to come uh to come and play here um play quite well actually for a long time thank h gangar on number 15 at B side Mohammad AAR on your screen and
Kuru that was a sizable diit right there he did hit down on that one yeah that was U this is khen Joi on your screen from gold murri playing at gold right now walking after it looked like that was going to go in the hole he’s walking
After it or just kind trying to scare it into submission yeah playing alongside karand coacher and Sh sodium Arjun Prasad making an eagle on hold number four uh we’ve seen nothing but birdies on hold number four as well but the way the players are playing it I’m I’m certain
That they all going for the green with their three-wood in the Q school and so on so forth see probably 90% of the players going with the safer approach so obviously this shows you that when the skill upgrades the way of changing a golf course you know the the way of
Playing a golf course changes so how they approach it the lines that they take is totally different and uh that’s what the that’s what you see when you have Premier players they approach the golf course in a very unique uh sort of way it’s not your average Jo’s uh uh
Sort of you know walk on the par they’re not miss they’re not aiming for a Miss they’re aiming for a hit exactly yeah cuz that is tight on the fourth hole there is water on either side not much space maybe about 35 yards but for them I guess that’s a good enough
Target eag number nine K Singh making eag number nine sing Sandu changa making it on number two Aman Raj on two Arjun on four as we were just discussing and gin on number three so quite a few Eagles already we haven’t finished has a really nice story I
Remember when we used to when he just went to America for the first time after turning professional to play I think on the secondary and he said that they couldn’t quite pronounce his name so they ended up chring him Gary so he was called Gary
B that’s uh I told him that’s quite the cool nickname for you ganit Gary B imagine them trying to get their Tong around his name most of her names are T twist for absolutely we just sort of have our own nicknames for them just call us this you
Know I used to used to have this player on the Asian tour his name was Jun now can you imagine a Caucasian trying to get his tongue around on that it was like I wanted to hear his name being pronounced I think Jun so can you imagine an
American trying to say that that’s a difficult name chikapa would be a tough one with them also I think U they’ve gotten used to that one because chikapa has been so often around the leader boards that uh they have no option but to learn that name chiar R up a beautiful name k
Coacher har gangar at B on your screen on your left that looked good playing number 15 think what appears to be on the part three on our screens on the right hand side for karand coacher the fifth hole tricky parri 175 OD yards the players would be going in with a
79 the longer hitter is probably with an eight narrow sliver of green slopes steeply on either side spot should break from his left paes are tricky at Gold muray you they’re not I won’t say difficult they’re tricky kind they just misreading that a bit you know you saw like he was
Aiming straight and it moved left to right so just misread that one and then just give khen josi a really good read on what the part is going to do and AAR on your screen playing 15 at B Arjun Prasad having a fantastic week this time at 11 andar pretty much in
With a shot at Victory imagine him trying to win this tournament what it would do for that young man also I think the C we we’re going to see uh the scoring record of uh hudan change he he’s he’s his his scoring record presently at 26 under for this
Event in 2019 is when he said it yeah this definitely seems like U danger little bit of signage problem there go number 15 you want to Enlighten us a little bit Amit on the that ruling if you do have a signage and it’s not in your swing but it’s in your intended
Line of play then can you remove it yes you can you can take relief from as long as it’s in your line of play directly you know not because you’re going to curve it around it or it has to be directly in your line of play uh especially when it’s around green
Because if it’s going to infringe your line of play on a on a shot maybe not on a you can say okay my signage on there on the left side I’m hting a fade over that that doesn’t work moments from earlier in the day Rashid Khan a Sharma and Hangar
Raja these days have seen any form of stress visible in rashid’s Rashid Khan’s face all throughout the years playing golf was being very relaxed has that innate ability to golf I think there’s some things which you can’t quite teach i b with it or Not need see different swings the more hand oriented swing using the arms a lot more got a tremendous amount of arm speed in his SC you can see his body type is making him swing a certain way yeah look at those arms yeah you know little upper
Body strong that he’s use his upper body more dominant and that’s going to generally lead to a left right ball ball pattern yeah looks like he’s got power Packers and then he uses them to bludging that golf ball and this man he’s matured over the years real
Young man he played so much Golf and pulled so many pranks on each other very Lively to have around was really nice story when myself your vintage and my vintage there a great story in the all India I remember year was probably 2006 in Mumbai one that
Himat Ray won and we were roommates uh me gagan jit Buller and himat Ray and it was a quarterfinal the next day me and himat were playing and gagan jit was there and uh I used to get the food the dinner each night and that day him refused that okay know cuz
We were playing each other it was a very weird air in the room so we all ended up getting our own I remember correctly so you know back in the good old days it it was a funny you know it was a tense night you know got up in the morning
Playing against and so far ahead of time whated yeah it it can be a strange thing if you’re rooming with someone and playing against them um certain how you deal with that to be honest we we had a match for the ages that was up to four to go and I B in
Bombay at bpgc if you know that golf course I made three birdies and went into playoff and that was something else did you him no I lost I was heartbroken because I was high on adrenaline I I bued 16 I birded 17 as well a given on
The 17th and and it was uh it was one of those moments that live on in your mind unfortunately there was no cameras that time but you know it’s we whenever we do meet we talk about that and he had his trusted caddy sain who’s who’s a very smart character
I must tell you he must hit it on the himat hit his drive on the left and such and said you know the wind is from the left that kind of stayed with me a little bit and I ended up so good caddy at the right moment can plant that seed
Of doubt I’ll tell a story after this watch upair with this on three fth pole gold so you know I was scatting for my my friend uh JY at the hspc Tournament of Champions his CAD that time was uh you know his passport expired or something like that I can’t remember part three
Says let watch this part first just want you to have a look at his buting style I’ve been most impressed by his speed and his intent sure that you’ll have uh the surgeon’s eye in terms of technique see what he does so well better than the other
Players he’s always beyond the hole look at that that’s what I’m talking it’s very difficult to be beyond the hole each and every time he’s giving that a run and he barely misses practice this is all how you practice also so when you practice you when you’re hitting
Multiple Parts you have an imaginary Target you’re not looking at the hole you’re trying to make the ball stop between the imaginary Target which is past the hole and the hole you’re not trying to hit the ball in the hole so you think okay let me get it to stop
Somewhere between that and that point and the hole is going to come in the way that’s how you do it so you’re not actually just aiming at the hole okay you say imagine probably another player sorry to interject with a similar putting style Rashid Khan very similar maybe a little more aggressive you’ll
Rarely see him short of the hole that’s how these players Mak so many birdies yeah because you know it’s it’s how you practice sh it’s what even he’s gone beyond the whole so the thing whether it’s 20 ft 25 ft they’re always going for it by virtue of being beyond the
Hole and and they’re always skimming the hole from one side or the other yeah you know but see you’re trying to you okay so that point which is beyond the hole for a long part gets a little further up for a short part comes a little closer
But you’re not trying to hit you’re trying to get the ball between that point and that so when you’re rehearsing and getting the feeling of it you’re not trying to get the ball in the hole the ball hole’s going to come in the way so
Coming back to ji and so he asked me for the yardage on one of the path trees and I said you know it’s 180 whatever it’s a I think it’s a third or fourth hole at shishan and I said you know the day he the day before he had hit a little bit
Of a thin and I said uh you know show you he said what do you H I said you know 6 sign or whatever and he says I said make sure you make make on it yesterday you got it a bit thin and was a bit short so it’s proberly the same
Pin position also yardage wise he says just tell me what I ask you that’s it yardage Club nothing more and that’s kind of seated this thing in my head I said I don’t need to that’s a good plays always in the present moment he’s not in
The past or in the future that’s a very good point remember that he used to say very jokingly to us he said you stay in the present and you get a present completely agree with you on that Rashid cleaning up this is this is just routine for him
They here at the Tata steel to championships from tagar jamur now you can see our Pros taking on the pon see the narrow shoot they need to get the ball to start between everybody you can see the shaping at left to right as the whole demands karaja pounding
It see a little more lower ball flight there can see different ways of swinging the club getting the job done that K coacher on your screen playing number six at goldi number six is a 400 yd Power Forward Dog leg right to left uh second shot plays a bit uphill and
Getting a close there try off Shia kheni and Kar coach are on your screen so this is uh a low sping week we have five power fires this week uh so for the professional go for five is the scoring opportunity for some club members it’s
Uh my I’m going to hit I need to hit some long shorts but for them it’s uh this is they treat more PA eyes more like long PA fors not sure what that delay is all about the group calling out to a referee referee tournament director this week as always
Sari on the right of your screen is B golf course we have pan Kumar Mohammad naab on your screen playing alongside each other along with Deepak Chan go number 14 at building split screen for you the left from korei we have the group of karand kacher shinda sodia
And karandip kacher playing number six on the right is from belly Mohammad naam putting out on number 14 narrowly missing out shendra just coming up a bit shy on the left pan Kumar in Orange from Delhi Golf Club been on the tour for more than a decade
Looks a lot like our tournament leader gagan jit Buller making Birdie on number 14 coacher on the left hand side hole number six for the look at some of the scores gagan jit Buller still leading the tournament going along pretty well at 17 underpar Ang Chima reeling off one birdie after
Another this is steal and this is an idea so what happens when we join them something marvelous like cars that are lighter more fuel efficient yet safer thanks to hyperform Automotive steel which lowers CO2 emission and makes this world a better place tomorrow is shaped by imagination
And steel tataa steel we also make tomorrow Ken here K coacher was there on hole number six at colur as they had Cen just making that part as well at hole number six little confusing sometimes when we looking at uh hold across two courses uh the sixth is a dog leg bar four
The players would be hitting a five iron or six iron to lay up off the T then anything from an 8 iron to a s iron coming in as you can see how much that means to the caddy back to our leader group uh on hold number five the part three
For those of you joining us on this wonderful Saturday morning here at jamshedpur for the Tata steel TOUR Championship 2023 this tournament offers a price fund of rupees 3C and it is the big one on your screens is Anga Chima who’s pursuing gagan jit Buller the 2023 Tata steel TOUR Championship is
A season ending event of the professional golf tour of India with a limited field no cut applied the players can fire on all cylinders from the getg go you don’t need to saf guard or secure your position for the final two days total of 75 professionals have teed
Up this week with the top 60 order of Merit and the rest of them n whes we have gagan buller s chasia International winners dig Singh Chapa harmit gon and many of the international tour regulars Manu gandas karand coacher V La gagan Buller and quite a few others as
Well and this is the highest price fund for an event on the PGT you have a look at angad little bit of a spot of bother here we’ll have to get this spinning quickly see how he has done here it’s a fairly good shot by Ang it’s
Quite n and short just about 30 yards left of Target but he’s done well given the severe angulations on this green that’s uh probably 10 on 10 for execution getting on the correct level to about 3 and 1/2 ft one thing that is is perceptible that Anga Chima
Has improved his short game he used to have severe chipping WS as having a business without an insurance policy Shan that’s not a very good idea chipping is your insurance policy for scoring as you said that this hole can be a little tricky you’ve seen now Rahel
Over the green Anga left of the green is a semi blind shot over that power grid it’s what makes this gol of course only a seven9 but still very difficult to hit the target now riy would have a little bit of work cut out in order to secure his par I
Think the greens are playing a bit faster than you know what the players have been used to it’s um seeing a lot of parts being uh coming up with little extra Steam on them this is the fifth edition of this event the previous four editions were won by odan Mane 2019 2021
Gagan bulla 2020 and chika rangappa 2022 right we have our penultimate group playing number six tangar Raja Rashid and a and on the left we have our leader group gagan jit rahil and gagan jit has had to wait quite a while for his part while the other two players now
Navigated this hole uh seems that he’s here for his birdie no he’s looked really solid he looked look at that that’s his uh fifth one part green yeah he’s really relaxed the way he’s walking nice and easy look at that looks like a bucket to him right now the previous record for the
Highest amount of money earned in a season was by Manu gandas 88 lakh ,000 that’s already been eclipsed by om prakash it’s going to be quite the season a watershed moment in more than one way as we have a look at Rashid Khan gag has he four under today and
Under has had a lastday he’s bu the first four holes exactly yeah and he’s one shot back still that’s a good one by rahil he really needed that that’s what a momentum saver looks like yeah just and he just birded number four so that was really important to get
That but keep in touch with the leaders don’t want to lose touch with gagan jit he can get away from you very quickly the eight forigners in this field andanga rajaon perea K pran Bangladeshi Jamal Hussein bad husin American V Chopra Andor Kevin EST regel and Nepal sukra bahadur Ray and two
Jamur based Professionals in the field are curent Tonk and kurush heri this year also the lowest score might be under threat 26 under is the current record set by odan man back in 2019 and our leader is already at 18 it’s good is um know it looks like he’s
Um really in total control of his uh game right now got Tiding up one number five that’s his first par that’s a brilliant par from where he was um not many people will be able to make up and down from there chipping across that spine mhm and also if you were to not
Executed would really roll off about 1015 beyond the flag so yeah it’s really well done by him I’m really impressed by the the strides he’s made in his short game you know coming back to this whole U short game thing and you know last year’s FedEx Cup
Winner Victor hland when after he lost his matches at the right unfortunate Miss there for Tanga you know so his the captain asked him which is B hon so where do you go from here he says you know I’m not a clutch player I need to know how to
Learn my my short game is not good enough to be a clutch player and clutch players been Big M tournaments and he’s worked he worked a year and a year and a half and last year his short game was right up there amongst the men that that’s just that was the difference
Between finishing 10th on the FedEx Cup and winning the FedEx Cup you know so short is your key to scoring the scoring that’s fine I think a lot of other people acest to that as well and give you applaud for that they agree that short game is where it all comes
Together and I remember JY was playing once with Chris Jun on on the at the British open qualifying and after the round was over our friend my friend DIY was getting for him so he narrated the story to me says so what do you how much
Of short game do you need to practice uh because they were both this is 2000 I think the 2000 British Open and he says you know short game short game short game till you get sick of it and then a little more after that so just for you viewers who think
They you want to get your handicap lower short game is the easiest place to lower your score I think that’s that’s a very important point that he made it’s probably the easiest way to shave off Strokes you’re not going to change the complexion of your game if you want to
Raise your level to a different um to a different genre of player then you have to hit a lot of balls and improve your ball striking to get to the next level but if you want to maximize what you have you just spend your time in in and
Around the dirt you know another thing is uh on our screen is U yat Singh Sandu he’s making some Headway today he’s a ball striking machine is you brought sing santu 300 today 800 for the tournament on number 12 which is the PA five penalty he’s really a machine he reminds
Me of iron Byron that ball striking machine this guy is just fantastic is H as far as pure lag and compression and visual poetry nobody comes closer I really like his swing and the way the ball comes off it’s like uh somebody shot off a loaded gun is that sound that
He has if you ever seen him in real life it’s a very good ball Striker indeed as you ra you know what you were speaking about earlier transferring you know having that uh the accelerating through impact he is probably one of the few players who does that the
Best yeah you know people want to always want to hit it longer and I don’t know a single Prof golfer sorry forgot was just about professional I don’t know a single golfer who doesn’t want to hit longer but in our attempt to hitting it longer we start get getting quicker and quick
Quicker to early and if you are quick early you’re slow when it needs you you slow down once an object is reached its maximum acceleration it has to slow down so you want to have that acceleration at impact not before impact I’ve actually written this down
Amit as You’ see um you know on on my sheet I’ve actually this written down is something that made a lot of sense and I have to try it because I have definitely a lot of lost a lot of yards and I think that happens when you stop playing and U
You you sort of try to hit it harder and it actually has the other effect which yeah you m time it you m time it your your timing goes because you’re accelerating too early it’s like uh you know when you see a cricketer Mis time
His shots he’s trying to hit it too hard and goes nowhere and then when he’s timing it it’s just flowing and it’s going with the same much lesser effort it looks like going much further it’s not much less effort by the way it’s the same effort at the right time good part
There by the long hitting hush G who drove that part power he he’s really tall he has be good 6 and 1/2 ft tall you I was watching another am who just turned Pro he won the RNA boys men’s this year and he is 6 f 10 and he drove
A ball on the DP world toour of 421 yards 421 yard long drive so he’s going with the driver here a players I’m surprised they’re going with the big stick here on this hole nobody’s really uh holding back that’s what uh store is so much pedigree everybody is going with
The driver nobody even thinks of taking out nine I thought they would go with a three but look at the quality of those drives not an ounce of movement yeah you know ri’s always been a really tight swing Tight Ball flight I I remember my coach saying loose swing loose
Shots so you don’t want to have any loose ends in your gol swing it need to be exactly what you want to do your vision of what your swing should look like should be what you see if you watch it it on a video and then the ball will do what it
Wants you want it to do when your swing is doing what you think it it is doing so your uh basically uh your working mechanism that envisioned should match up reality understanding of the Goon in simpler terms you can see on our screens the leader is
At 17 under he’s gone off to a Fire Flyer G Buller he’s on your screen right now playing number six yeah this is one of the more difficult holes for the players coming in layup with the six sign and probably watch the hole with anything from a seven to an eight and
Let’s see how they do here leaked it to the right somewhat there’s a bunker there then there’s also a hazard there so not quite sure where that has ended up but that’s uh definitely 100 miles in the wrong direction Rahel center cut he’s um had that momentum saving put on the last
Hole just having a look at the prize money distribution the winner gets 45 lakh I was thinking it was 50 my apologies and then the second is 30 lakh the third 18 and the fourth 14.4 this is rarified a You’ never seen this kind of money on
Offer in India previously even the fifth getting double digit lacks six getting 9.6 so there’s so much money to play for it’s all the way up to 10th getting 495,000 that’s more than a lot of Victories will get you and what a lot of Victories you get you on tour but you
Know there’s a saying in Hindi soar absolutely this is the gold smith look at that brilliant control by rahill the way that ball is coming out not moving much and getting a lot of purches on the greens also shows you that his strike quality is right up there this week he’s
Always had good strike his body movements he’s always covered the ball very well that shows that gives you that quality of strike it’s your body placement at at impact he’s always been right on top of the ball so never had a issue with strike quality so the only way that Aman Raj
Can usur om prakash of his seat of dominance is by winning this tournament git right now yeah and currently if Aman is climbing up that a for a fantastic finish and especially for our viewers Aman Raj currently at 11 under part finds himself seven behind gagan jit but
Aman is coming along pretty well asash is 600 today by the way yeah om prashan not too far off either he’s at 10 under par just a solitary shot so he knows that he needs to put his pedal on the metal for the last six holes om prash
Chan has gone birdie birdie par birdie birdie eagle so I think uh even if even if Aman wins it and and he finishes um om prash finishes in the top five I think it’s pretty much done and dusted so I think it’s safe to say that it’s done and dusted now no I’ve
Seen stranger things happen but it looks most likely that he’s going to win the order Med and and who guys that means two golfers will beat the one cor Mark if that happens you think what you just mention Tanga for his Birdie on number seven good but by
T Tanga going around steadily today amanraj would need to finish in the top three to breach the one CR Mark thir play Position will help him cross that Mark and uh if he wins the tournament he would need to ensure that uh om prakash Chan finishes no better than
Fifth TI here so it’s anything is possible Right still early days if uh he can make you know um gags in Fr and he just birdied the bar three oh he’s finding a little bit of U trouble on number six but he’s birdied part 3th hold go to 18 under this will be
Interesting viewing we’ve seen him really relaxed and composed from the other areas let’s see how he tackles his bunker shot because bunker shot can really test you not the bu so he was on the up slope left a short again now this will be a test he’s made a lot of them let’s
See if uh he’s able to continue on that blemish free path that uh upturn saucer green on number seven the part three you can see all the slopes are leading off the green that’s a very difficult hole a par is a brilliant score on hole number
Seven but we’ve seen quite a few birdies as well surprising to see birdies on that hole you know one of the most iconic golf courses to have that kind which I’ve been and I’ve seen is fin Us number two almost every Green is so I I
Remember that visit in when I ended up playing that time and he gone for that tournament it’s very interesting golf course I had seven three puts in 18 holes the ball doesn’t stop on the green yeah you can if you’re on the wrong side you can put it off the green the other
Side yeah it’s it’s and wide expansive open Fairways no challenge in terms of um you know hitting it off the te you just need to hit it hard as they say that’s the American way of golf and it’s most one of the most iconic golf courses in North Carolina
The pine H number two it has that that statue of uh pain Stewart after he hold that one C to win the US Open out there where he beat uh I think it Lee Jansen no Phil Mickelson for that tournament and the one time he beat Lee Johnson I
Think yeah that was the other time yeah but look at life as they say you try to live each moment as it last it’s easier said than done but uh his life was cut short and what a legend he was two time US Open champion and and so stylish yeah
He used to one so it was those he used to wear those plus fours yes is one of those characters on on the tour he was there now you have um um John Da with his colorful trousers and P stward with his plus Falls but there hasn’t been another who’s been able to
Come close to the Charisma the aura that pain Stewart had with those plus fours very rarely do maybe once in a generation sort of character come out of your hotel wearing that and wait for a taxi you need that you know he had the
Hoot Spa as they say to pull that off as we see our players who way laid somewhere in the rough and Anga Chima traversing the entire length of that green he’s got his um a brilliant part you know he’s he’s got his base control
Cor and you see as uh gag is has not lost his turn still he’s still away and rahill is for his birdie that’s that’s gagan’s far part on the right of your screen at the league off Club is sap delar and uh you can draw these lies
Which are pretty unforgiving at B and this seems to be one of them your guess is as good as ours where this ball will end up that’s the that’s a power um 15 hole that’s a pretty good shot he gave it quite the swipe there and it’s the it’s
A tight driving hole it’s very dense folage both sides gagan really under the C here let’s see if he can answer the claran call he’s just he’s just one for the first six holes show this is uh finding this hard to believe the way he’s making it look so easy he just hits
It and it goes in the hole believe you me it’s not that easy right PA there is no B coming in the way and it’s ball you know it’s I think you know there is a there is a player is an international player he’s played all over and his he’s on song he’s
Uh it’s a little deflating for the rest if you see the other one they need to take it from him he’s not going to give anything yeah definitely not from the looks of it where he’s holding parts and just walking up to them there is no hesitancy
And just fantastic right of aen Indian open ex Indian open Champion chinna Swami Muna what a beautiful name he has and a beautiful game seeing a little bit of a Resurgence but obviously still besieged by that unfortunate back injury as we have a look at rahil who you know that’s
What it is it’s just A Tale of Two Cities unfortunately for R they all skimming the hole yeah he’s burning edges right now don’t worry R just stay on course he find the ball up sometime he really needs to keep his head because he’s seeing these opportunities with
He’s getting fantastic shot after shot and they’re not going in and on the other end he can see the ease with which gagan jit Buller is just coxing them in the hole Yeah but you know you got to play your own game at this stage they’ve
Seen enough of golf they don’t know they know that you know what they can do is what they can do they can’t depend on what others are doing it’s a very very individualistic spot golf is there’s no opponents they’re 100 and out here there’s 75 of them and of course the number one
Opponent and your demons your biggest opponent absolutely sa no such demons for sapak there seems to have slayed them pitch and F on number 15 at B lot of eagles here it’s good to see dark red on the you know leaderboard it’s big dark red versus Eagles Light Red is uh pink or
You can say it is and uh dark blue light Blues are boies and dark BL the so lot of dark Reds today on on our lead Ang with his far part on number six with his bird part on number 15 the home is well pivotal butt for Ang
To keep the momentum going yes well done you know must be exhausting trying to keep up with gagan jit buller’s parting antics you know I you know you sometimes you uh if somebody’s playing that well makes you also play well you know you are looking at holding parts
And you know accelerate your game so it’s not a bad thing har got Rob there one we here at number 133 y power for at B go course it’s pretty straight hole for our viewers side R sing Sandu and uhan from Sri Lanka this is what the modern day Goa
Looks like compared to far more athletic yes he’s the epitome of modern day golfer if only modern day golfer could if every modern day golfer could look like this uh they wouldn’t be any issu uh this is too much sp there I would like to say this is what Peak Performance looks
Like speak athleticism ball striking and uh and you know for people who think you know you know you know working out is not important you only your body is can only do what it’s capable of doing so if that answers some of your questions then go to the
Gym yes and we know that yaj does spend a lot of time in the gym and that uh brings in its own set of rewards you know confidence uh is is also um is a big thing in golf and you know that you are capable of producing
The horse part needed to compete it is just an added confidence in yourself background you can see Sun vishno instinctive swing prakaran with his part on number 133 walk with with the lower hand down in yesterday years it was known as uh the G handed grip some of the other scores of the
Players out on the golf course om prakash Chan Numero Uno is at six under power for the day then you have yat Singh Sandu four underpar visible on our screens ven Chopra American four underpar very few overpar rounds if any on the whole U players are under par with his SP part number
13 he got a four leg spectator following it’s going to be quite a few of those this week you can see our leader gag The Rock really really dialed in um with regards to the speed here yeah pleasure watch right now he making it look really easy and that’s
Uh look at that that was such a nice part just about I think a lot of confidence also comes stems from the long game when you know you’re in control of the longer elements you’re a lot more relaxed on the green even if you miss the part you
Know you’ll get a lot more opportunity so I think when a player has that ability he’s never he’s a little non-plus he’s bothered about uh the proceedings as it were see gagan jit walking up to look at that go shot right on the flag stick on this uh
Precarious part three so this is what a part can do for you is it a given bird it seems Little bit of gardening work going on trying to repair any marks pitch marks foot marks as well right you can repair those as well now this is steel and this is an idea so what happens when we join them something iconic like the bandra worldly cink and Engineering Marvel that connects two
Parts of a thriving City where Tata steals state-of-the-art lrp strands have played a role inserted in the concrete deck and anchored to support the vision of New India tomorrow is shaped by imagination and steel tataa steel we also make tomorrow Australia and I remember his colorful language and that
Was my first exposure to a golf coach but a very unique way of approaching life and the game is that obviously there’s no one siiz fits all but I feel that the joy RVE that he brings to the game of golf is that the way to play
Have a lighter way in about things I think uh that’s the Australian way of doing things I have quite a few other Australian uh friends who played on the Asian t as well so they’re very very similar that’s the Australian way of dealing with things everything is light-hearted there’s there’s no
U on Earth and this is not the last part so it was just the way that things are done in that part of the world and um he brought it to us because um he’s Australian himself and yeah he’s he’s doing well he just celebrated his 84th
Birthday he can break his age playing golf which is phenomenal actually he can still play Break Power by the way yeah I’m having difficulty breaking my age on the front line now it’s getting difficult but we have a look at Ang Chima here no he had that surname that um you
Know was a very difficult surname to pron mind well for it’s Welch yeah it’s it’s a very Welch name and he had probably more L’s in his name than anybody on this planet so it was Kelvin Lloyd luel and I I counted it was seven L’s my father always speaking in
Military terms he used to say where is kilo Lima that I find hisame very difficult to pronounce let’s just call him that yeah r with his birdie but on number seven he’s shaved the whole a few times today yeah just he just needs to stay patient just keep doing what he’s
Doing things you know you know you can there there’s only a certain amount of patients that after which you’ll run of it he will you know it will get to him at some point in time he needs a putt to drop because it’s just not going his way
You know he’s hitting but off and it’s it’s just not going his way he wants to so it’s fine you know so you he’s not losing ground as such he just you know golf is a very funny game and you know when you least expect it things start
Happening and you know as long as you are there knocking on the door the door will open eventually as long as you keep knocking keep knocking on Knock Knock Knock on Heaven’s Door Heaven would be absolutely that’s what it says knock on Heaven’s Door and then uh you will see
The pot of gold only rupees 45 lakh uh only I say I say that with a slight so much money life changing as they say what would you do with so much money travel the world look at places leave your work no obviously not these golfers will go from strength
To strength the person who will win the order of Merit uh will be the order of Merit Champion will get to play on the DP world to om prashan pack your bags get your visas ready get your aame on which you already have on because you’re
Going to be competing with on the best but if Manu gandas can have the last laugh then please make sure you have enough pages on your passport for all these visas also you know sometimes as Indians we run into a lot of trouble with visas and some some of the
Countries need an extra page for some reason I don’t know why yeah probably there yester years now golden years are here it is the Amit KH and uh we travel as we please number eight the another opportunity to have a look at actually the thing that has talk
About but it’s surprising that’s the first time that I seen him U maybe with a little bit of a cautious approach from outside taking a poter let’s see how he does this time will will he be going beyond the flag I think this will be a
Lit Miss test he’s taken the putter so maybe he knows uh he’s going with a safety first approach you’d think otherwise he would have gone with the chipper to try and hold this hello yeah this is probably the longest that gold has to offer 434 yards n green
Power four n green n yeah this probably the first time that I’ve seen him shot this weekend because he took out the putter maybe in his mind he knows that I just want to make a par here maybe something to do with the lie that is not quite visible I don’t
Know yeah would have been up surprising there normally not he’s a lot more aggressive from uh that was one time that uh he sort of didn’t pay caution to wind number from B course number this is looks like hold number two I’m I’m not quite certain we we’ll soon find
Out le as I say let’s we open our mouth and uh make a mistake keep them guessing yeah this is looks like the power four fth 14th 14 yeah this is the 4 the top left flag the other in the group tangar Raja on the left of his screen playing alongside
Akai Sharma and Rashid Khan Angar Raja presently at 14 under five shots behind our leader gagut who’s birdied another hole he’s 5 under today through seven I think that was a shot of the day thus far gagan jit Buller is iron shot on hold number seven angad on the first was
Brilliant as well I think gagan is maybe a notch better because this hole is a little longer the players probably would have gone with maybe seven or six sign even placed about 200 yard two on number seven short in the top 10 we have honey biring it Arjun biring it and tangar
Raja biring it as well yes I mean these players are really and it’s not just a matter of the whole I think these players are really firing on all some of the players who are really on song gagan Buller hitting there almost making a hole in one on the right from B
Sapar on the left a Shara finishing up on number eight for his with his spart AA Sharma presently at 11 under just one under he must have felt like he’s left a few out there with his biry attempt playing alongside CH Swami mppa this is hole number 15 the straight PA
Four probably one of the rare holes that you don’t find a green side bunker on there no bunkers in number 15 very straight hole trouble both sides on your screen the back is so important for a professional golfer you know getting an injury on the back is it takes away our entire
Physicality you know um om prash is buried one more so he’s now finds himself at 11 under seven under for today so Aman Raj has followed suit as well he said Catch Me If You Can he’s reached 12 on the par so I don’t think
He can be discounted in any way shape or form he’s at 12 and if he can make maybe two more birdies on on the other nine finish to stay at about 14 but the way gagan jit buer is going he looks like a man possessed mppa playing alongside sanjie Kumar and
Sap sanjie on your screen on hole number 15 short work of that SJ Kumar doing well today 300 today so far sub tidying up on number 15 so in the background you can see there’s a there’s a mini scoreboard there leaderboard and the leaders when they come to this hole will see it
Yeah that uh it’s always nostalgic to see that there’s some things that you don’t want technology taking away the scoreboard is one of them fashion leaderboard you know guys remember those old Cricket leaderboard those big ones and they to keep guys at the back you know see them anymore though right yeah
And that there’s certain charm attached to those old world things rill with his approach into number eight 43 four yard par for it’s a difficult par for with the water hazard flanking the left side and the out of bounds on the right hand side so I presume the players would be
Teeing off rescue or maybe even a three-wood seems to be a fair distance so might have gone with a rescue maybe let’s see where he’s he’s hitting all he’s hitting the greens in regulation so he’s he’s always giving himself a chance far is a good score here this is a difficult hole as
You have a look at see gagan and angad are very far down I think gagan has gone with the driver we’ve seen how accurate he is and I think that’s a an effect of him playing so much golf internationally he’s able to hit driver on even of the
Tightest of all this is not uh not a very inviting Fair I’ll tell you that much yeah and he’s coming from the right angle also he’s he’s got a really clear view of the flag which is on the right com shy there yeah I don’t SP short
Might not have a you know surprised by the way that he’s hitting his hands one of them is on the flag then the next he misses the green to the right his uh you know he was I don’t think he was on The Fairway so you know you can get a you
Not sure what how the ball was lying out there Ang angat has had an absolute belter here you can see by the way he’s swinging it trying to hit an out to in sort of a fade that abbreviated sort of finish want to keep that club face open be
Looking to get this closed by putting some left right spin on it yeah it’s uh he likes to move it right to left so um you have to create something which is uh not as usual seems like he has been able to put that left right and he’s Still Standing
Tall and looking at that go shot uh still had a little bit right to left it you saw it pitch in left a lot of compression so shows you that he wasy coming in with maybe at most to nine iron look very close to the green you’ll
Get a good read from R SP so you’ll be having a really good really good look at what Riley’s but does especially around the hole you know it’s um uh three different walks there you know this the loose you know like loose athletically loose walk of Rahal ganji I’ve never
Seen him look stiff ever and then you have the stern stiffish walk of gagan jit and then angad is is like somebody who yeah in the park is you know this is just me so you can see three different characters there with the walks angut has got a very youthful
Demeanor and look about him and that serves him well to 15 with the group of Arjun sharmma fantastic Putter and very good uh driver able to hit those trade drives gets it to about fly about 280 odd yards in the air roll it to about
300 and a brilliant pter on his day he’s can be devastating playing along Raj Raj Kumar chal and San bishnoi yeah affectionately called Bonnie I’m not quite sure Bon Buck Bon bu okay you would know Theology of that Bon Buck because he used to love gambling for
Bucks they have uh I never quite knew why he was called that but uh really affable very nice thorough gentleman Bonnie plays a lot of golf he’s one of those people who love the game of golf yeah you he’s probably the The Last of a Dying Breed the players who play For the
Love of the Game and he never been that successful he’s I’d be surprised if he makes this one that’s a tester and then some I think beats before that you’ll see how what R does and you’ll see what Ang does and you coming back to Rajiv jaal
Is what do they say journeyman yeah he’s a journeyman bro he’s like he’s a journeyman professional he’s like went out some excess energy well the youth in him which uh is also the energy factor of you know you know I love watching the youngsters play they they they they’re like you know
Everything is um this I can’t say how to put it in words but they have this exuberance about everything they do yeah as they say U that’s what youth is and eventually Fades away so make the most of it and then you become mature and then life
Hits you and then I don’t want to get too philosophical about what happens next but uh that’s how the cookie crumbles so that’s why we looking at the best Sportsman and giving that a good run yeah I think there’s some frustration setting in because he’s really given that a good rap has
Uh good seven eight feet by that’s not what you you can’t force the issue I think you know one of the first long Parts he had also so just give it into frustration he’s just one of the longest buts he had today for his birdie so yeah and
Um you I I can only say there’s another name for this game it’s called patience um spred over 8 kilomet takes four and a half five hours so you going to be patient about everything you do a little bit about the Tata Steel Group uh this uh tournament is jointly hosted
By the Tata Shield group and pgti the Tour Championship 2023 the prize distribution will be held at the B Golf Club on Sunday 24th of December and this is the season ending TOUR Championship a 72 stroke 72 hold stroke play Championship Mr DB sundur Raman vice president raw materials division Tata
Steel K jamshedpur golf Captain said jamshedpur is a buzz with excitement for the upcoming Tata steel TOUR Championship this year’s tournament is poised to be an exhilarating conclusion to the 2023 season featuring renowned golf his Vine for the prestigious title we take pride in hosting these top tier players and
And presenting the city’s Lively golfing scene to the world and uh haven’t his words been prophetic this uh tournament is really promised and delivered and the words of the CEO of PGT Mr utam Singh Mundi Tata steel and pgti have had a longstanding Association when we thank tataa steel for being a
Pillar of support for pgti since its Inception the tataa steel Tour Championship 2023 promises a grand finale to the exciting 2023 season with some of India’s leading players part of star studed field one of the Stars visible is gagan jit Buller heavy hitter 10 time winner 11 if I’m not wrong not
Too sure 23 on the Asian Tour on the Asian tour and 23 overall so and the number one position on the Tata Ste pgti even gets a spot on the DP World Tour while we look at this pival part Single part in row if he gets this one and
This is I mean this is just ridiculous now this is this is bordering on I mean incredulous run out of adjectives here is and every part falling in with the same speed this has a had a lot of break would have been about six to seven inches outside the
Hole it’s not that it’s a straightforward part how’s he doing it it’s the eigh hole how’s he getting it done every whole every time you have a part you you just think of making it so it’s it’s momentum it’s a very big part of sports Rah now on the other end of
Spectrum hopefully he should be able to make this oh it’s just been that kind of a day that the but is not working the way supposed to while we have a look at Rashid Khan brilliant bunker shot there by Rashid that’s the ninth five Rashid rahill unfortunate bogy there
After very good shorts of the T and for his second it’s just that kind of day hopefully the back nine will turn it around for him yeah you know golf is such a funny game you know it was it looked like gagan jit was in a bit of trouble but butter is your
Salvage I would say so he he’s using his part to good use today he’s had eight on I think eight one put Greens in a row which is fairly unusual probably had one makeable on the seventh where it was a given but uh still right I’m I’m not quite sure the
First he had a good butt the second third he hold that eagle y fourth I think he had a par so maybe not not a one part green on the fourth I think let’s have a look yeah fourth he made a part so maybe not that one the fifth he
Hold a really good part the fourth he did he was in that greenside bunker uh on the face uh Shia when he chipped it up and he hold that long part he he was on that face of the bunker we thought he was in the bunker and he chipped it up
And hold the part so it was a one part hole as well nine power five and then that good part on the power five the par three fifth then that brilliant par save on six then again another par save on eight it’s not just the birdies he’s making those saves he’s
Missing the greens sometimes with those erend shots and he’s making some and and the short game is not really on song the chips are not Landing that close they good about 10 15 feet it’s the butter that’s uh really doing the magic right now and obviously the iron strikes and the driver
Yeah you know it’s uh it’s it’s something which uh you know dagger’s dad used to make him work from green to tea contrary to what the norm was at that point of time and he remember he I remember reading this and he says you know if if you can putt everything gets
Easier it takes the it takes the pressure of every other I mean this man definitely can putt see he like likes to get the feel by just making a stroke with one hand let’s see how good he does with both break a little from his left
And right in the hole you know you can see that see how it just keeps the momentum going he was in trouble he hit it or you know he knows that even if he gets into trouble he can get away with it so and that gives you that uh
Confidence in hit going for your shots also because you know in case you do get into trouble you can still Salvage yourself you you’re going to get more aggressive and that’s going to going to hit shots closer to the hole AA with his bird attempt on number nine yeah he’s been able to
See rash Khan’s part as well yeah making that easily yeah probably a little bit of indecision with his CAD there and discussing it seems like a little bit of wrap on the knuckles for the cad there you know I remember this if you if uh in
K of course they have some of the holes have these boards behind it some you know oh that’s uh you can see that the frustration is setting any this right it does happen you know you don’t want want that to happen and he’s such an experienced campaigner shooting 10
Underp yesterday the part is just not working it there’s only so much you can uh keep trying to do after a certain point in time he’s he’s hit some brilliant shots and I’m certain that he’ll be able to The Back Nine as well that’s that short Tracer technology
And see how fast his arms are you know rashid’s asking the ball to come right body language so yeah it’s um it’s a it’s a parting that kind of takes the stress over of the rest of the game and coming back to quf course uh there are these
Boards at the back of some of the holes with have some you know quotes from golfers I don’t know if you’ve ever read them there’s one that always uh you know stayed in my mind was I think it was by Bernhard Langer from what I remember he
Says an indecision is worse than a bad decision on the golf course because you know indecision leads to a lot of things which uh you’re not actually want him to do so for golfers who are starting off and or are playing Club whatever you decide go with it it’s
Your best chance yeah you learn from it anyway if it’s a wrong one so it’s okay prophetic words by Amit du and gagan jit Buller seems like he’s a man to catch but uh what is going to do that he’s going to do that had a great expense to
Himself it’s going to be a pck victory if there is to be one for somebody apart from gagan jit Buller you’re going to have to really put everything to try and get a victory and beat this man it’s going to be very difficult I have to extract every ounce of talent birdie
Blood Sweat in TS to try and beat gagan bull is not going to be easy yeah you know he’s he looks like he’s found good form and uh he just won recently on the Asian tour as well so he’s coming here with with uh confidence and uh I’ve heard him like his interview
And he says you know I’m I’m I’m playing well so he knows that he’s playing well and um once you’re doing that you’re just actually waiting to play the next tournament because every tournament is like yeah I I’ve got another chance coming up here right so it’s uh and when
You’re not in form you you’re looking at a tournament and saying listen I need to start with something here so it’s it’s a mindset thing and he’s got momentum on his side today with his fter you know doing wherever his clubs are not talking his pter is is shouting so so he’s he’s
Well and truly uh on his way to taking this unless someone yeah R is Rah is struggling with the bulky butter and on the other end gagan jit’s is really yeah you know there’s about in the first eight holes there’s about short difference between both of them and just
On the pting green yeah and if you look at ball striking both of them are pretty similar riy did some really good shots as well yeah so but the good thing is that you know wherever ganit is when his approach shs have become actually closer than ry’s
Approach shs proximity to the hole so his putts are shorter as far as his birdie putts an eagle putt is concerned he hit it whereever he’s hit it on the green he’s hit it really close and you know that’s from uh the fact that he knows that he can get away
With a few misses just from the fact that he’s putting it really well I’ma cleaning up on number nine the PA five playing alongside AE and Rashid now the a penultimate group leaves gurri and has a short uh ride across town to B where they will play the 10th hole at B gos
Boss yeah and B is a little tighter tougher track than and gold wor the first hole is a is a longish part three with a really small green really small Target so I used to always okay have if I can hit B number one four four days in
A row I’m hitting mys really well yeah that’s a difficult golf course in terms of iron striking small targets sort of those Turtle Back greens beautiful drone view of Kary Golf Course and we are here at the Tata steel T Championship 2023 our season finale this is where everything they’re playing for a
Whopping three lakhs and the winner will take a whopping 45 lakhs sorry three crores this is steel and this is an idea so what happens when we join them something iconic like the bandra worldly cink an engineering Marvel that connects two parts of a thriving City where tataa Steel’s state-of-the-art lrpc strands
Have played a role inserted in the concrete deck and anchored to support the vision of New India tomorrow is shaped by imagination and steel steel we also make tomorrow back to the action yeah it looks like SSP is that he’s having a good day today um yeah that’s
SSP a lovely swing uh the man The Smiling assassin very affable personality and what he’s done for himself and Indian golf coming from such humble backgrounds and so many big European door victories and Indian open victories uh you know there should be a movie made on him one day will be a
Blockbuster under for the tournament playing number 12 the power five at B golf course you know one thing I’m seeing in all the players now which is a departure from yesterday year everybody’s so much more in control of the game they able to add the longer clubs to tighter holes
Which wasn’t the case when we were playing professional golf players were hit maybe a three iron or four iron a lot more now they aggressive and they’re able to execute it so I don’t know how Ball’s going further short yeah but they’re hitting straighter I mean my point is hitting it further and
Straighter it’s not just further they’re actually taking out more aggressive clubs on tighter holes that’s that’s what I’m Seeing fruit nck electr plus rehydrate feel alive technique you know you can get in touch with your coach from anywhere in the world he doesn’t have to be or he or she doesn’t have to be next to you at that moment of time so it you know there’s in sport there’s one
Predominant saying consistency over intensity if you can consistently do something correct uh again and again you are most likely to have a better result and earlier it was intensity you know it once you see your coach and then I fix everything and okay now I’m going to
Play well because I fix everything but then it’s to go you know after some time so that consistency factor is has has become more uh easier to have with technology we seeing a lot of birdies and even eagles on hole number nine Mrs feia playing alongside Shu and Jamal Hussein sh on your
Screen that’s you know he’s got such a very very makeable part for Eagle there you also seeing the order of Merit and U the players were able to make it and some the others unfortunately missing out friend vikrant I would have to pay that the piper of visit this year for the first
Time I think in his life I don’t think he’s done it for a very long time I don’t think he’s ever done it to be honest Gran Chopra has never played the Q School on on in India I know that for a fact as even the first time maybe when
He even not the first time either he turned professional and kept his guard as we look at Ang Chima so so he’ll be a bird he’ll be you know Fish Out of Water this time so obviously he’s not at the best here but I’m certain that he’ll be
Able to bounce back some of the others who’ve not been able to keep uh his his card is um some of the notables Japan’s Makoto IAS Saki and able to Arjun bti the young Phenom from goam bud Nar anur cha fantastic ball Striker H that good event in jaur nam da
Your friend affectionately called doc man Bas s Singh Al also very good ball Striker mesh Kumar I think that’s the first as well yeah mes Kumar I think he missed it once previously as well obviously he’s he he’s mid-50s now or if late 50s or how
So for a person who’s 58 and competing and still making a lot of cuts if you look at it and uh he made six cuts and close to Six LS so yeah he made a lot of cuts for mesh Kumar he never missed a cut for the first 15 20 years the
Unfortunate truth is that the sun must always set but obviously ween oh he is human yeah but that was a really good part you know he missed it on the highest side it smelt the hole had a good sniff at it decided not to eat it yeah it’s finally uh not
Getting one to drop but that was a good part nevertheless by gagan that would be a birdie I’m assuming on hole number nine you can see the grumpiness in rill’s face right now I know I can you know so long I can feel his emotions he need he needs to get one
To go in and everything will change that hole will look bigger life will look brighter everything and he wears his emotions on his Le so knowing him that this part if he can get this one to go in change a lot is um what we looking at the
R yeah missing that part riy it’s just nothing’s G gone his way today for r that was a rful smile you know he’s just he can just laugh about it right now but I can imagine his frustration H with that real brilliant chip from short left of the green on
Number nine five five and gold M for the viewers who have just tuned in this tournament is being played over two go of course goore and beldy in the final two days of play the the we the the front line is going to be at goldi
And the back nine is going to be at B golf course so angad’s on number nine at gurri and after that after they’re done they take a short uh taxi drive or across town to B to finish up I’m seeing the order of Merit and what’s surprising to me honestly the depth of
Field has increased so much you have players who are winners and almost there contending some weeks and shooting low numbers the likes of Pavan Kumar how much have we seen of Pavan Kumar we’ve seen a lot this year you know we’ve seen him shoot low numbers we’ve actually I
Think seen him even leader groups but and he’s had couple of top 10 as well and you see him in 59th position wow it just shows you the depth like previously I think that’s andak no he’s he’s a winner you know he’s he’s at 60th The
Last Man Standing yeah that’s one of the things that is is sort of a depart from previous years is that um you only had the winners would probably be in the top 10 of 15 on the order of Merit you would never find a winner in the around the 50th
60th yeah you know and we have multiple winners this year also it’s not just one person person winning everything like it was I remember at in yesterday year it would be mesh Kumar Ash Kumar Vijay Kumar yeah you know at that and then it became Manu gash Sandu
And for a while but this year we have multiple so you the the the back is catching up yeah so even even the six player is good enough to win a tournament he likes all these players at position it shows you even has played 11 events but not having a top 10 very
Unlike him 15 events nine cuts the I think one of the priorities for these players on the bubble would be to keep their card you it’s important to play this event big big money event you want to be here it’s an important event it’s a big
Event having you know I think last week at jort you had a really good showing that the nerves correct for this so you know he ensured that he got into this event look at am Raj with the dingo hat have intense competition on the professional Door of
India this is uh scenes from B golf course now on your screen benign conditions yeah hardly or no wind so what you see is what you get kind of nostalgia when they see this takes us back to takes me back to our I knew that
A lake was there now I see the screen because you never visited yeah it was right at the E you had an inkling there was something exactly say we I think we had tunnel vision for such a long duration of Our Lives you know the golf course and you
Know everything the intricacies of trying to be a player kind of as I say you don’t stop to smell the roses yeah Kar Pratap Singh presently at six under one under today he’s had a couple of Victories this year including the big one at blf Grand thoron oh look at
That damaging the whole there playing alongside G Pratap Singh also known as GP GP and you are good friends good friends yeah we Country Cousins as as they call them and the third member is our last year’s order of Merit winner manuk G saying a great fellow really
Funny and whenever I do meet him we do end up speaking in our local dialect and it’s rather colorful you know uh for someone who’s been on tour for that long his his energy is still that of a youngster yes probably you know one of the things I
Can always admire that he has not left his zest to play well and to win is still the same yeah there is the fire there and he really does believe in I think that a lot also comes from the upbringing his father K lari saying fantastic gentleman used to be a golf
Secretary and uh you know shout out to him and kudos to him what he did for us when we were playing golf he just gave us you know an open uh Open Season he said do what you want on the golf CU you guys if you want to hit balls you want
To play here he was really nice to us and helped us uh really practice and enjoy the facility very laidback uh with all the players who were trying to do something in the game of call no that’s probably um something you know people don’t realize and you know uh that when
You have uh good players in your golf course it’s it’s it’s probably the institution needs to recognize that and promote them and you know help them in every way they can this is that is what the institution is meant to do to promote that spot that they are
You know promoting it’s for a golf course it’s golf so if you have some stars in your golf course playing and you know and as institution Administration I um I suggest that you encourage because this is where this is how you can grow the game talk about stars there’s one right here
Uno yeah you know you never can make up from Miss walk how he’s playing which is a very good thing you know he’s very emotionless and sport is all about you know keeping a tap on those tight tap on those he’s a young man with an old head
MH he knows how to handle the trials and tribulations of Life somebody that comes to mind is Jordan Speed he’s very young but very mature there’s few play shanka Sharma you know you are at a precocious young age but they have some innate ability to sort of see life even this
Young man on our screen right now I’ve watched him this whole year we saw him do well at uh NOA then win at chandigar a week later and then you know his his demeanor has not changed he is still doing it the way he did it in that that event and
What I really liked about him to be honest with you I heard that speech we were there and and you know we heard it firsthand is there ra emotion that came out respect for his coach and you know paying h to his golf club and and how
Much meant to him you know he was uh almost holding back tears at that point in time he’s very emotive and that shows you what it means to them they’re very they do understand the the the gravity of the situation and what it means and I
Think it was a fantastic Victory on that car as well so if you want to win a tournament try and W try and win a tournament where there’s a car in store man on was really impressive at the national games I watched him play Jas Chandra Ms from
My very good ball Striker Kia watched him swing was impressed with the way he was uh he had om prash on his heels all week he also one of the players that has that lag yeah he’s got that you know he’s got sneaky long distance you he’s not having
The best day today he’s just bar for today you can see not holding his fair share of Parts playing alongside the leftand Kik Sharma and badal Hussein a word about U Tata Steel Group Tata Steel Group is among the top Global steel companies with annual crude steel
Capacity of 33 million tons perom is one of the world’s most geographically Diversified steel producers with operations and Commercial presence across the world the group recorded a Consolidated turnover of us 2.41 billion in financial year 2018 in 2018 Tata steel acquired bushan steel now renamed as Tata steel BSL
Limited it’s uh you know their role has been pivotal what they’ve done for Indian sport not just Indian golf they’re taking it to another level here with their involvement and their support for the players providing these sort of opportunities and U I mean the more you
Say you know words can’t do justice to what this this event means to the professionals the viewers the fans everybody who’s associated with this sport I really do understand that this this tournament brings together the best in the country for that one week the Stars descend upon Tata nagar yeah bad
With his on them at B yeah it’s a little difficult to guess what all this is so I won’t blame you I think it looks maybe be like yeah it looks like the four 14th yeah it does yeah we’ll just wait for that confirmation yeah looks like the 14th indeed
Maybe well uh we we can’t play musical chairs too long so we’ll just wait and watch Kik Sharma so I was right it was the 14th as we have a look at the updated leaderboard gagan jit Buller not making bir on the PA 59th R gji also missing out Ang Chima making the most of it R gji even though his all his Parts have
Leftt out is still too under for the front that shows the pedigree yeah you know it’s I I just hope he keeps his patience doesn’t lose uh it’s this saying every dog has it day so he will have his day as long as he stays patient with it patient with
It and things are heating up here in J shur the our leaders you know you know take the ride from goldi to B we playing this over two golf courses the front line is played at goldmore the back nine at belly and uh on your screen is the updated scoreboard Leader by two
Still is gagan he’s 500 today and so is ang and so is honey so he’s 500 today as well so you can see um the lot of red numbers today on on our leaderboard it’s uh it’s a track where low scoring is uh is always happens it’s happened through
The years the scoring record for this event is held by Udan man at 26 under which he got in 2019 at the first edition of this event this is the fifth edition of the Tata steel t a championship as a precursor to the season ending Tata steel TOUR
Championship the butting green at the JD Tata Sports Complex in jamshedpur witnessed an exciting putting competition it featured some of India’s leading professional golfers this has become an annual feature of this event although this is not part of the main event the putting competition has become quite popular over the
Years there were a good number of people in attendance among them was former Indian cricketer muralii Karthik he is a keen golfer and like he was on the field of cricket karic is a left-hander on the golf course too He was there as an invitee of Tata steel for the proam event the competition was intense it was held in a knockout format while the matches were played in The Stroke play format pgi’s tournament director Mr saath charari was in charge of conducting this contest the eight professionals were
Drawn into four pairs each contest was played over five holes significantly each hole posed a different kind of challenge these Pros gave a great demonstration of their butting skills just like they do in professional Tournaments the pairings were based on seeding which was in turn based on the world ranking King of the golers the bearings made for some interesting reading the season Duo of gagan jit buer and SSP chasia were up against each other om prakash Chan took on changappa Rashid Khan faced VI
Alaat and it was karand deep coacher versus amanraj in the last quarterfinal as it is expected to happen when top professionals lock HS against each other most of these were closely fought contests huller Chan Rashid and Amon were the winners in the quarterfinal round in the semi-finals it was puler
Versus Chan and Rashid versus Ammon this round also witnessed some top quality pting after some exciting action Chan and Rashid made it to the final buer took on Ammon in the contest for the third place it kept getting interesting and The Spectators loved the intensity of the competition they also appreciated the
Quality of fting that was on display in the final Chan had the last laugh the Tata steel pgti ranking leader gave a glimpse of the kind of form he has enjoyed in the ongoing season the player from Mau in madha Pradesh won the first prize of rupees 75,000 Rashid back rupes 50,000 as runner up huller defeated Ammon to claim the third price of rupees 25,000 a brief break uh you tend to forget the reality but yes uh so brilly well done there this drone view I think it’s it’s really has been a paradigm shift in
Terms of what we can see and what we can’t is uh giving you view a different Vantage Point Al together Bird’s ey view yes and talking about a bird I think that’s Eagle that flew by so that’ll okay well for our players golf is such a unique game in that
Aspect somewhere where you Meandering walking through open spaces and you’re not in a confined space playing a game it’s it’s very different the ball is in ner You Are Moving Your Mind is Playing Tricks and it’s very different uh the growth of golf post covid-19 has been
Spectacular because it was one of the only sports that that ad H to the you know distance rules that they had put because on a golf course it’s 100 acres 120 whatever it is and you don’t come within forget about feet of each other you don’t come within like half a
Kilometer of each other if you want to you know talking about that I’ve been having a hard time to be even 30 40 hours behind my co-players these days I I’ve been on a different post cord so that’s I’m going to try the tips that you gave me today my ball striking is
Taken a nose dive and I’m I’m going to take a amit’s book have good Tempo maybe try to pause it on top and then try to unleash and uh unleash a lot of these players are you know uh my coach used to say this word this statement and it now comes back to
Me as I as you speak about it right so he says you know the the golf was invented by the Scots right so you need to be a Scot to play a good golf so and I was like okay can you please elaborate on being a Scot and you know Scottish
Are known to be very stingy people so when a Scott goes into a bar and he gets himself a beer and it’s for let’s say 4 quid 90 he gives five quid to the bartender and guess what he does after that he waits for he waits for the
Change okay so if you want to be a good golfer be a Scot wait for the change don’t start your dcing before you finish your back swing exactly so that’s a it’s very interesting story I must say that you come up with the most interesting anecdotes and you really do educate our
Viewers and myself included thank you just I’m just have a good memory for some silly things in life normally professional golfers over the long dur as we have a look at Honey B here yeah he’s on this number 12 the pop five very reachable pop five very
Strongly built Honey B say three word carries it good 285 90 yards these are the players of today these are the modern players stocky build works out in the gym he’s on his he’s out of his shoes when he hits it you know he’s he puts every ounce of meat into
It you know watching a uh I think it was a cartoon on um can’t remember it was I think uh Justin Thomas from what I remember it was a cartoon and his shoes were still on the ground and his feet were outside you yeah so that’s how much he was putting
Getting out of the ground yeah he’s he’s somebody who’s almost uh from the 72nd Airborne by the time he’s hitting the t-shir he he’s because he has to extract everything from that 140 that is that is uh using the ground forces very well so most of the energy that you you get is
From the ground and more you get out the ground think about it he’s he’s probably 140 PBS dripping wet maybe maybe not not not ounce more so still he hits the ball 300 yards so he has to really extract everything from that frame yeah so a little bit like rahill pound to
Pound the longest out here for pound to pound I think riy would be the longest yeah still very athletic has a lot of speed Banu Bajaj on your screen with for his birdie attempt on number 12 having a good day today three under today yeah another man from
Kolkata the city of Joy yeah he was in our commentary boot a few a couple of weeks ago Shia chatting up with us and telling him telling us that you know he’s actually playing well and thought he missed the missed the cut at Grand th he said you know I’m actually playing
Well I there’s a few hes here and there so and then he played well the week after and then at SSP then he’s playing well here as well so it’s good to see him you know sometimes you know that you’re playing well even though the the the results are not showing for yeah
It’s that sort of a sick sense that you have and then you calm and res showed that yes I am playing well I don’t need to really think too much about anything else this is our defending champion on your screen s changa flamboyant Kapa takes his Fitness very seriously works a lot on
Speed he has the Need for Speed yeah Top Gun there be too difficult to hold this part very good friends with our man anirban Lahiri yeah they he mentored CH NAA for a long time you know having same coach and practicing the same facility something like what happened
With when you know with JY and Diggy and Amar know coming from the same facility ji not so much Amar I Think fruit nck electr plus rehydrate feel alive ELR reh El electr plus rehydrate not employing the sandwich I can understand that at B if you if if you’re not on The Fairway you’re not getting a preferred Li and those you know with the paspalum crap grass or
Whatever you call it it’s it’s a hybrid of ppum and uh you you are not sure how the ball’s going to come out with your wet so you know your worst part is always better than your worst chip so safety first I guess yeah it’s all about uh the law of
Averages this is bad from Bangladesh there’s so many good players Bangladesh has been a Factory of Champions sidik rman is a household name there you know there big posters with his name you know they say in bangl most imagination Tata steel we also make tomorrow sport is is a very integral
Part of Any Nation it’s nation building it’s about soft power it’s also about the Youth of a Nation and for every country to go ahead you’ll always see that sport has always been at you know this it’s been the tip of the spear so as to speak you know for a country that
Size and with only maybe I two golf courses to the to their credit Bangladesh pryes a lot of good golfers I’ll tell you they have a lot of Steel these players they have to endure a lot of hardships but U they do have uh I think
Pgti has a lot to do with them playing well as well because you know they don’t have a local tour of Their Own and they they they come to our country to play on the pgti and which is and we have a event on there at uh Kola every
Year or did we have this year not uh quite I don’t think year had yesterday we played in Kura we played at batari which is in chiong yeah I remember playing the first ever Pro tournament in uh in Bangladesh at uh at Chong at the batari golf club from what I remember
No this year we didn’t have uh an event there I think they had Nation Tour event there this this year ad development T event there very nice gol of course that as well and this shows you what the players face on the first Ro difficult t- shot but playing of the left-handed
Left-and T so it’s nothing more than maybe a 67 and from the right te it’s an AB it’s an absolute beo from the right te’ be getting a four about 210 I was playing this one tournament with the Earth while ship ship prash and I’m standing and I’m contemplating four
Sping into the wind four four three should I go with my three should I and he’s taken out his driver I need this really soft feather fade you know landed like a just about 2 ft from the hole he hit that postage stamp green which this
Is a really small green for the viewers you have the green on on number one and belly is really small let’s see if uh he’ll be Vindicated for that choice going with a pter from off the green and I think u in retrospect that seemed to
Have been the correct one yeah you know I I can understand them using uh part from that grass you you generally don’t get to practice from that kind of turf So you you’re unsure of how the ball’s going to come out of it as they say when in doubt go with the
Putter flattering of red numbers all across but Eagles yeah so we already had two um seven unders coming in om prash shooting seven under today and baron Chopra as well is honey Honey’s at 600 theanu is 500 today so’s our leader gagan J is at
5 under and and angat Chima as well so a lot of low low scores today this is that kind of a setup it lends itself low scores obviously not these low these players are good and you’ve seen you know by virtue when we had these tournaments with the
European challenge tour that was run by om prash johans so and I would say that kga was a golf course that doesn’t really favor any sort of uh local player but still we had our Indian player winning so supp you the depth and the quality uh that Indian players possess
Now especially with gagan winning in Asia and Shankar in Europe and anirban on Liv G on the senior Japan tour and so on so forth so Indians are spreading their wings and I think the T Ste pgti to is is definitely the wind between the wings absolutely that’s number one on py the
PA three the 10th hole for our players this week top right pin today bar is a good score here on this hole div dianu Bajaj really getting on a tear after that double bogy on three he’s gone um birdie birdie par par Eagle par birdie birdie he’s five under par is
Dianu and he’s six shots behind gagan jit Buller who had currently would be making that long a journey from one Golf Course to the next I remember that journey and you like you know um there it’s it’s there’s a lot of um traffic on the way and sometimes you can you know
Get stuck in a little bit of a sometimes it’s happen very though uh you get stuck in a little bit of traffic so it takes a little longer so you know pace of play goes for a toss there for a bit otherwise the pace of play on the is
Phenomenal you know that can be a little bit of a momentum breaker unfortunate for a still again just skirting the whole u in traveling in a car and sort of you can lose your field for a little bit especially if you’re going on a te making birdies and Eagles and so on so
Forth yeah you know especially and you’re allowed to by the way when you come from there you’re allowed to warm up again that’s what I remember we were allowed to do earlier not sure now but um yeah because it’s almost like a 15 20 minute drive on the screen is tangar Raja
Tangar Raja presently at 1400 five shots behind our leader gagan buer let’s see can get a bit closer our leader has shown no weakness so far and definitely not not left any part short either you know his speed uh for his SPS has been phenomenal since we’ve started
Our telecast today it’s been tripping speed you know it feels like it’s not going to make it and it just about makes it so when you’re hitting it at that speed the hole becomes bigger how you can test this speed control is if you take three balls and
Place it in front of the hole and push it if you push it too hard only one will go in there seems to be a look of consternation on uh BJ’s face and obviously he’s you don’t want to be at the end of that swing he a strong young
Man is baj maybe had uh some sort of uh wrong shot Dr the te we’re not quite sure he’s on this SP five doesn’t look like a happy camper motive right now yeah he needs to calm down a bit it’s not the end of the world yeah not the best shot either
Let’s see what score is baj at currently sitting in at six underpar playing alongside the veteran shamim Khan have a split screen on the left is sham group with shamim Khan and on the right is our leaders working their way to their 10th hole which is uh at the B golf course
We’re playing this tournament over two golf courses goldm and BDI no this is Sachin basya he’s currently number two in the order of Merit take my words back is he was number two Aman Raj is number two now Sachin was number two till last week I think yeah
Yeah he can still um become number two once again unfortunately cannot become number one as I say there’s only limited space on top and currently it seems to be occupied very comfortably by om prakash Chan from Ma and on our screens now on the right hand side is gagan jit
Buller will be interesting I’m my prediction is this going to be close yeah it’s it’s it’s a top right pin he likes to bring in bring it in left to right so yeah this should be close not quite visible where it’s gone see that see that fall off behind that
Flag not much room behind it so players would ideally want to be somewhere between the flag and the front of the green and this green is pretty quick from back to front it looks drastically yeah came on a little high as well for gagan jit
Buller um Rahel gji on our screen now on live feed two from the 10th hole at B maybe this is the nine that will mend his broken heart his heart is with him by the way well the golfing the golfing heart he he’s you know he’s missed quite a few
Parts so maybe this is this nine is going to be more oh look at that go shot could have hit it any better than that he pitched it flag High had that compression to stop it anybody else that would have pitched and probably gone over the green there so was able to get
That bite and from here that’s it’s a very makeable part it’s it’s uphill so it’s like a ledge and then on top and then slopes the other way backwards so you actually part his he’s got up but coming up yeah poar trying to intimidate the green
Into agreeing to let that ball go in the hole you don’t want to be on his wrong side not right now he’s pretty hot under the caller is bukaj let’s see if he can make this SP he’s a pretty decent second half uh this year you know he’s played well so
He’s in good form playing alongside of Veteran shamim Khan who has no emotions yeah pukraj 35th on the order of Merit three top 10 16 tournaments played 10 cards made uh pretty decent here and uh would be aiming to add a few more F the to cap by a good
Finish this week and a good part and that’ll calm him down a little bit yeah I was hoping his make he would make it otherwise he would go fuming to the next te yes and on the opposite end of the spectrum shamim no really do yeah he’s
Unflustered with all this he’s just gos around doing his I think he’s a man who seen at all if you were to think that who would be the highest earner ever on the professional golf tour of India and line up all the players I’m pretty certain that shamim won’t be a first
Guest but for those of you watching this man has earned the highest amount of money on the professional golf tour of India uh since its Inception this shows you that looks are deceiving yeah looks are deceiving you can’t always judge a book by its cover you got to read the story and the
His story is indeed a fascinating one coming from Humble backgrounds SE um Ki missed quite a few shot and right today so it was the other part three also I can’t remember which one there was like right being short and right but that’s consistent at least he’s not double
Crossing it he knows which way he’s missing it but this is he has his work cut out here yeah this is not an easy shot uh yes uh looked like he was a little short on his back swing you know the door there is a little bit of light
That seeped in for r g you know it’s a psychological game golf I think is his closest pursuer right now so can and he’s missed the green on the left so chipped really well today yeah has chipped well and this uh going to test his short game this
Shot but lucky for him it’s it’s a lot easier than what gagan had facing him yeah g just short sided himself with that top right flag you don’t want to miss it right on a right flag Ang has a lot very unique way of chipping Scoops it up uh is not that
Conventional chipping technique he’s always struggled with chipping I remember him since a boy when he used to play in Army golf course in Delhi he was always struggling with chipping he a very good iron Striker very good putter strong driver of the ball but chipping has never really come naturally
To him he’s had to manufacture one or the other technique yeah yeah I’m is you know chipping is uh got a lot of you need to be rhythm is the key to chipping any short game shot so if you have something short and fast it’s like if you take a ball in your
Hand and I asked you to throw it and roll it to a hole would you be short and fast through it or would you be little longer and languid through it the latter would come to your mind before right either way as you throw it I think it’ll
Be difficult for us to throw it as close as Tang Raja has hit that thrown an absolute dot here what a fantastic shot on hold number 11 by hanga Raja and he’s uh he’s at 40 under he’s well and truly in the mix of things and as seems to be
AE if I’m not wrong and gagan is got a little bit of work left for his bogy on number 10 you know this part will be a test of his temperament a coming out of that bunker not the easiest shot K has a really really good look at this now V Birdie on
Number 10 this is probably the easiest part you’ll get on number 10 he’s coming off the French it’s it’s it’s going to it’s not going to jump on him it’s pretty smooth looks makeable just uh give it enough steam really like to see him make this
One and yes he has see that’s probably the easiest part he has to let the ball settle down yes yeah fantastic it’s really nice to see that then you don’t want to pick up the ball until the whole ball is below the surface of he’s been given his due finally after nine holes
Of pain as the great Clubber Lang said what’s your prediction for this fight he said pain and the back line is different man R ganji finally makes a birdie it’s it’s and and probably on one of the most difficult holes fantastic yeah it’s uh good to see him
Finally hold apart it’s he’s been uh knocking on the door for a while now finally someone opened yeah it’s about time as I say if you keep at it eventually it will happen yeah SP uh has a little more consequence to it now so he’s two shots back and gagan uh will
Definitely drop a shot on this whole he’s already played three and he’s got five four five feet left for his Bogi having missed the green shot right so got this um 10 12 footer left for his p on number 10 and he makes it just might
Find himself only just one back or maybe even TI you know is far on number 10 and well hold young man so as I said very good butter and that butter was make able to make up for that um below bar Chip Shot as you
May yeah so this uh that really set the cat amongst gagan jit’s pigeons absolutely and he’s got to thing to think about now this uh well they should be able to make it fairly easily what’s so important to note is that all these big International Players they don’t
Really get out of the element same routine yeah you know unflustered you know you can see that he’s brimming with confidence he knows that U he’s allowed to have a loose hole here and there it’s not going to have any consequence on this game knowing that you know uh U how to
Deal with situations is what makes you I’m just player sorry to interject I was just thinking that mesh Kumar has won over 120 victories gagan Buller has been so Stellar fantastic and he’s won 123 uh how did Mukesh manage to win so many tournaments I mean the competition was
Still there at that point in time on the Indian tour but he would have been averaging almost like five tournaments a year six seven tournaments a year you know I remember one year I can’t remember it was 2005 or six I can’t remember exactly but he was more than more than 300
Under for the tour he every round was under power every round sorry it it was relentless and it’s not like he was the longest of the tea it was like he was straightest of the tea but he never missed it on the wrong side never he always left his chipping and bunker
Shots for phenomena and every time he needed to make a part he would hold make it there’s a man who’s uh has a similar story yeah out look at that he always gives it a run yeah he’s uh he’s very confident young man so Rashid is this is
Something which uh is very Rashid like he’s no matter what his performance is his confidence in himself is never uh he never doubts it h Raja you saw that him heading it really close here so he’s got this to move to 15 under he’s presently at 14 under three under
Today and with gagi dropping his first shot of the day at number 10 has uh slipped back to 18 under though he’s still four under for today um so this will bring him within three off the lead if Hangar Raj were to hold hold this BS are going along really well have
To really borrow outside the hole here not the easiest aport looks like it has at least 3 in of break on this had both of us F there no he um he just hit a bit too hard he got he got it started on where he was aiming his pter was aiming
Rather so very Jack Nicholas like stance open with his feet and somebody asked me there was a big debate on who is the best butter of all time and you guess who got who got the vote Jack nich Jack Nicholas one somebody talk about that I would want
You to have a look at ae’s setup mhm the way he puts according to me he’s probably the closest thing that you see in in our players somebody who puts like Jack Nicholas has the similar similar demeanor and has that sort of forward press and open stance crouches a little
Bit and a brilliant putter similar style of player as well left to right so maybe you know you see a lot of similarities in the way a person’s built or I don’t know what it is look at that he’ll Crouch over left foot will be
Open number one thing I think to be a really good p is to be a good line reader and you can see here is he open he’s crouched over crouched over he’s his pter has been uh you know matched to his stance you can see it’s a much flatter Li butter very similar
Yeah but what you see that he’s there’s no doubt you can see that how he accelerated through it he was he’s know he knows what he’s doing exactly he’s sure of his stroke and that can only happen when you’re not thinking about the putting stroke when you know that
That is an aspect that’s taken care of you know it’s it’s good to be in a place where you’re not thinking of how to hit it yeah rather than you actually thinking how much to hit it exactly if somebody not sure of the stroke they’re thinking how and how much and he’s only
Thinking of how much yeah I think if you’re thinking about your putting stroke and so and so forth we pretty much lost the battle before starting it you need to practice your putting more that’s uh very well said by Amit and uh for those of you our lovely
Viewers who are joining us on this uh crisp Saturday now it’s not a morning anymore afternoon we live at the Tata steel door Championship 2023 being played at the gurri and BDI golf courses in jamshedpur also known as tat nagar and the price fund for this tournament
Is rupees 3C it is the big one this is the final event on the professional go tour of India top 60 and the invoice this is um your regular Joe’s are not going to be getting to be able to play this event you need to earn your right
To get here yeah this is invites only top 60 plus invites and U this is whole number 13 from BDI I think this has been a first look at Adil yeah we haven’t seen him today and thankfully we saw him do that yeah good part and uh so an update um gagan jit
Buller is leading the tournament by a solitary shot over Young Gun Ang Chima his young is such a relative turn now I it’s eventually what is your vage what’s your Vantage yeah what’s your Vantage Point draw conclusions to where we are exactly yeah so maybe he’s far more
Younger I think eventually eventually we don’t want to make ourselves feel old so that’s how we decide who’s young and who’s not KK Sharma is making a really good move today he’s just legal number 12 the power five to move 6 under and 15 under for the tournament just three
Start back now a man Aman Raj making a move now Aman would move to 14 so he’s not done yet as I said it’s still possible that he can win this tournament and win it all he would really be wanting to go and play in Europe cut his teeth on those unforgiving cold
Conditions yeah as of you know if he he needs to I think he’s he needs to finish with the flurry today and then continue it tomorrow yeah you can’t uh leave it all for the final day it’s not going to be possible because there too many players too many good high quality
Players who going to be between him and the lead and even a low number on the final day won’t get it done yeah unfortunately he’ll have to bite the bullet today he’ll have to make at least two more birdies in the next six holes he’s he’s done fairly well he’s one
Under for the back nine he can end at 15 under maybe there’s a good chance tomorrow yeah I completely agree with you sh he needs to get at least to 18 today at least and he’s 15 right now no my he’s 13 so my my thought was he needs
To get to 15 at least 18 18 is impossible but he’s he’s got six hes to go two birdies 15 that’s a good Edition shows you the scores of the leading group yeah that’s uh now the viewers can have a really good at what’s happening
On the on the golf course gagan jit one shot ahead of angat and three shots ahead of KARK who’s tied with rahil Genji at the same score gagan jit coming in from the right hand side really belting off a big Drive he’s pretty restrained with his driver
We’ve seen that he even hits the driver in a three quarter fashion really Unleashed on one here seems to be having nothing more than a sandwich on this hole hold number 11 425 yard power four you see like he gets a little up on his the back swing he just
Dropped it in a bit Yeah his yeah you can see that he’s he gets it little above the plane on his on the way back and then he has to drop it in a bit and sometimes he just overd does it and that’s his leak to the right now we have Lefty
Karthik but the good thing he’s not missed anything left which is uh the trade of a good uh player you want to miss it one way whole number 13 at B kik’s having a really good day he’s six under today and 15 under for the tournament one of two left-handers in
The field the other being JJ Sandu JJ was the first left-handed player to win on tour is it yeah wow so his name is going to go down in history in Golden letters Kik now with that unique pre-shot routine where he tries to visualize the line yeah yes got some
Strange idyn synes to him I think to work out well for him though see how he executes this shot should be a little bit of a jumper coming out of that rough have a little bit of Top Spin on it hit that really gingerly that’s a good shot you know
Luckily he missed it on the correct side you know with this right pin you from the right side it’s going to be really tight to get it close so he’s had a pretty decent look at but and with the way he’s been going in the last few
Holes he’s just Eagle uh number 12 so he’s he’s got moment this is steel and this is an idea what happens when we join them something magnificent like the bdj Khalifa the world’s tallest building three times the height of the Eiffel tar an iconic Landmark where Tata Steel’s comp FL 80
Composite floor decking has stayed a part making it a Triumph of human inspiration tomorrow shaped by imagination and steel T Steel we also met tomorrow shiron that’s Dro from the right rough on number 13 gagan jit with his bird part on number 11 you know you know just it’s been a
Pleasure watching him but today his speed has been so good you see that yeah he’s not leaving himself much work once he hits his part first we’ve seen him putting from that range 25t we’ve only seen him putting from inside 10 ft this entire day yeah he’s H pretty close
Wherever he’s hit is HED close so and his mes have been with short and right today R getting a really good read on that one so and he’s just made one so he’s ri’s misses is also on the right hand side aiding him in this journey I think riy has a really good
Chance of making this one should break a little from his right to left and he’s seen that ball travel ball travel so you can see that he really had a good just about burn the edge yeah that had a shot maybe if it would have caught the lip but uh not to
Be oh his Ball’s got so many skid marks on it no I’m always we of that I wonder whether it’s going to hit and come back at me I’m so you know I’m so old school when it comes to you know having the flag you know out I I prefer it out yeah
I think players at this length maybe from about 25 30 OD feet where you’re not really expecting to make it then they still sort of leave the flag in just for maybe just to speed it up or just to play at a Brisk clip but otherwise from within 10 ft we see
Majority of players opting to keep the flag out Ang Ang’s been putting well as well he’s he’s made everything that has any he’s already seen he’s already seen two parts from sort of similar seen the seen the speed I love the way his hands are right under his
Shoulder you know that shows you that that butter is going to swing as it’s going to very have very little arc on it and then it’s going to be very straight went the other way sure it had him fooled as well that’s what he’s saying oh yeah it looked like the grain
Was left to right and the slope was right to left so it was going to be a toss up there now look at some of the others on the golf course you have cartic Sharma 6 andar Arjun Prasad from gurugram also at 6 andar on your screens is ang Chima
It’s currently sitting in at second position one shot behind gagan jit Buller you have yarat Singh Sandu who’s finished with a six underpar lot of low scores today om prakash Chan the number one player Numero Uno leader of the order of Merit is at 1100 for the tournament in
700 today what a blistering round and vun Chopra is well the American seven under really knows how to golf his ball does vun manag gandas 4 under power last year’s number one order of Merit Champion five under by Rohan Dole patil and M Dharma also shooting a five under par good scoring all
Around l numbers currently we have a total of 58 players under passes Golf Course is yielding a lot of birdies and Eagles the current tournament record is 24 under 26 under par by buan man looks like uh this week that uh might be under threat gagan jit Buller is already at 18
Under par and has uh a total of 26 hes more to play as you have a look at the bar five 12 that’s a big Drive Right There by Rashid Khan seems to be coming in with a long iron it’s a brilliant shot right there by Rashid Khan
Karthik on your screens on whole number 14 a slight leave number 13 my apologies the ominus 13th we have a look at r unleashing a drive on the power five hole number 12 that is still pretty much a young man’s swing he is 45 but has taken
Brilliant care of his physicality and to maintain that speed mind you that’s no mean task that’s it’s a pretty difficult uh sort of exercise to keep that speed going as the years keep progressing and that’s one of the difficulty that any Sportsman faces especially a professional golfer as the
Speed goes down you have to find other ways and adapt your game probably change your equipment there very few golfers who maintain that speed even into their 40s Anga really stands far away from the ball generates a lot of uh speed and has long lever as tall young man nice languid
Finish seems to have leaked it a little bit to the right the players would be really wanted to go for broke as far as the drive is concerned in this whole fairly wide hole draws a little bit to left little bit of a dog leg right to
Left little bit of the T Trish almost yage only plays to 52 yards so for a lot of these players if they able to Belt one down uh might get nothing more than a six or seven iron yeah if you have a really good firm handshake with it yeah to within uh six
Seven iron yeah you need to get that rolling uh turning from right to left that’s uh the important part but does seem like he tries to go after it ever it’s it’s very similar yeah you know thing is you know he knows his timing is good enough to
Get him there you don’t need anything extra you know he’s going to hit a mid IR in anyway so whether it’s a seven or six you know it’s immaterial yeah very calm composed and he knows okay he knows how to put the ball in the Fairway and he knows he’s
Long enough to get home in two easily so know it was a different time and we think if IA just hit a shorter Club it’s going to be um better but you know actually it’s uh if you’re h it from the you know you’re going to get home and
Too so an extra will not get you anything extra this is left he’s shortsighted himself he’s found himself in jail here a that’s not the place you want to H your chip from on number 12 and Tang neither this T would have been pretty aggressive on his second short and so he finds
Himself in no man’s land yeah I think just uh anywhere within 15 ft from there we should be good enough but the good thing is he has ample green to work with he just missed a spot by a very warm welcome to the viewers from the Bailey golf course on the third
Day of the Tata steel TOUR Championship 2023 the season ending event of the Tata steel pgti season today we have with us one of the rising stars of Indian golf yaj Singh suu he had a spectacular 2022 with five wins on the pgti and this year he’s won an international title so let’s
Hear from yuj his thoughts on this season yuj how’s it been for you how do you look back on the season so far um I’m I’m very satisfied with the season that I had uh there were a lot of choices that were supposed to be made
After the first half of of the Season whereas uh what to play next uh tea up on the 80s more or the phdi more and luckily I teed up on the 80s and I got my first International win under my belt uh at the minda and U it was it was a
Surprise to me but um I knew that uh the offseason grind that I put in was uh was going to bring something out so it’s it’s it’s been a good year it’s been uh it’s been it’s been a year where I’ve achieved my goal of uh securing my isent
Door status and also so um I had the opportunity to go to Spain and uh play with the best uh the DP World qualifying School learned a lot became a better player uh definitely got more patience more perseverance for sure and uh I look forward to uh the events next week uh
Starting from Feb which is uh the Asian tour now and I’m really excited to tee up again on the international soil but uh all in all I think um everything this is everything where I am is possible because of uh the nurturing that PGT has
Given me it’s it’s it’s been one of a great stepping stone uh stepping ladder I would say so I’m glad I’m glad the season went this way and uh you’re still not done one more round to go here at the season and uh how you looking
Forward to this contest and uh you know it’s a unusual kind of an event you play across two courses there’s a little travel time time involved in between you get some time to warm up before you start on the second course uh how you looking at that you know this different
Very different format this time I think uh the difference between uh you know the both golf courses is mainly the greens uh gold Mar as we all know has always played a little quicker as to BDI but uh BDI has been doing phenomenal job uh with their greens and with their
Course I think the time that we get in between is uh you know especially for me that I’ve come back to BG after a very long time so whoever I’m traveling with I try and talk to them and spend time with my friends whoever that is in the
In the car and uh just you know get a life update on on what is happening and what’s not happening c a song or two and then just um you know it’s it’s also like a fresh start you know You’ you’ve played nine holes but then you’re like
Okay it was it was another round this is another round so if you had a bad front line it’s it’s a good thing if you had a phenomenal front line you get to forget about it and just start fresh again so I think it’s a good it’s a good format
Different but it’s fun it’s fun yeah and a word on our sponsored Tata steel uh this week you know the umbrella partner for the pgti and sponsoring the biggest event on the pgti oh Tata steel has always been uh like family Jim shadur is like family uh had it not been for uh
Tataa steel our tour wouldn’t have been where we where we are where we are right now so I think T Steel has done a phenomenal job for everybody who’s up there on the board for every single professional golfer in the country uh I want to speak on their behalf that you
Know everybody is getting uh bread everybody every body is getting uh visibility and everybody is getting a means to live through their passion and that is all because of tataa Steel being our umbrella sponsor and um Jim shadur is always home because of the hospitality here the people are the
Sweetest the food is amazing and um it’s it’s some somewhat similar to my hometown which is a small town chard they’ve got good roads organized perpendicular roads so I think jamshedpur and Tata steel are are very close to my heart so yeah that’s it thank you yuj for talking to us so that
Was uh yuj Singh Sandu and it’s back to the commentators in the studio back to you shya and Amit now we back with live action that was nikel with yat Singh Sandu ad with this part yeah just I think he just misread that he was a line where that ball
Started for number 14 at B the straight tight PA for top flag today know this stretch of uh 13 14 15 it’s a it’s a good stretch at BDI it’s it’s almost very similar holes very similar yardage also and um then it opens up a bit with uh the par five
16th B is going to test you off the te yeah there’s not really there’s no place to hide here on this golf course especially this people the viewers who can’t see this where the where the golf is coming from right now there is a water hazard in his line
So this is karand poer on 133 yeah par a regular on the Asian tour he’s had a pretty good good season this year he’s the I remember him winning uh Pro tournament as an AM to G really well stitched together game that’s curent de have oh he came to the front or drunk
And slept outside playing alongside Ken josi in his lime green shirt you know when I see khen and um he has the same head as I which is not much I don’t old by the way I don’t so I said okay I need to be around people like Ken
Now I’m not too sure what cin thinks about that trade but yeah that’s uh what is the the human body is indeed uh very individual and as I here today gone tomorrow or for some it stays forever but either ways it’s we have a common friend and he could not his
Pronunciation of he you could not make out if we were saying here or here tends to happen with certain dialect who’s U this is now again on hold number 13 shendra sodia with his Bud part on number 13 yeah very snatched at that pter after making that going along
Steadly he’s three under that’ll let him to four under so 13 under big paycheck yeah it’s a tournament that rightly so when this such a big tournament is not going to come easy you really have to earn it look at that brilliant drone work yeah you can see number 13 what the golfers
Are faced with and they’ve done a really good job at the with the the conditions of play look really good balls rolling so smoothly on the greens khen with his budy putt on number 13 now to break a riddle from his right and that’s our leader on number 12
The PA rahill doing a little bit of gardening Cen also come front door drunk and staying outside know when it happens more than once there’s definitely something to it unbeknown to the players that maybe you know some some grain that is standing up or you know probably um it’s very much
Into the grain that part so you know you uh in getting you know immen immersed up in getting the line correct you forget that you actually have to hit this one harder than the others Ang Chima and riy having some sort of a discussion there not quite certain what that’s
Out gagan Buller seems to be zoned in for his eagle part the first to play here so I think might have been like is it yours or mine this is more like a long PA for for the modern day golfer you know they’re drawing back the
Golf ball with uh the new their drawback is going to the balls are going to go shorter still a few years to go for that yeah but you know you know the the thing is drawing it back because Golf Course is are running short of real estate you
There’s not enough land to make it long enough so they need to put a the thing is that you know professional golfers will get that new ball to play with in a year or two and and um the club golfer might can still play with this other one
But that expanse of getting the same quality of golf ball to go a little shorter is going to be like there going to be a lot of research and development yeah I’m thinking what how it affects the golfing industry you know all those advertisements about this ball goes
Further that ball goes further know amount of uh R&D to make something feel as good as the modern the present Ball but go shorter it’s it’s going to be a tough ask from the from the oems yeah it’s going but what kind of a ball are they reverting back to I mean
Something like the first version of the pro1 or the professional 9 professional I think the first version of the pro one used to go probably as long as this one I remember it used to used to go long off the seam it was a really two pure two-piece ball so if you
Land it up on the seam and hit it it would go further so when is lying on The Fairway you need to see whether it’s lying on seam or or not so I think it’ll B more towards uh somewhere between the Titus professional and the prov1 somewhere right in the middle there and
But the what will what’s going to happen is balls will cost a lot for some time yes yeah because you know the amount of R&D that they’re going to put in somebody’s got to pay for it yeah and and and the club golfer will end up playing for it R gansi
Oh so if you stick at it long enough and if you believe the process and uh keep your wits about that was like that was for Eagle uh do 17 under which is presently just one shot beh back behind our leader gagan jit who has a eagle part of of his
Own coming up gjit is always very relaxed not quite flustered by what’s going on about him around him my apologies and this is on the right in live feet two is our penultimate group of Rashid Khan AK Sharma and tangar Raja theu 7 under today 15 under won’t
Be surprised if gagan jit follow a suit oh just about missing that looks so good sorry I he thought he had it yeah so now um he’ll move to 19 under power Ang Chima to 18 and R will be there’s a very old saying there’s a many a slip
Between the cup and the lip you know so sometimes you you find it and you can hit a really good butt and not hold it so it that’s the part of golf that really tries your patience rahill it’s a replay of his bir eagle
Part on number 12 the PA five it took a while yeah he came to the front RW drunk and somebody let him in yeah doesn’t quite work out that way but contrary to prop normal this one scenario crazing the lip you know I I like um gangji’s demeanor on the golf course
A lot it’s totally unlust there’s not much emotions he’s there’s no roller coaster inside rile on the other hand you know he far more emotive as a as a person as in in real life also knowing him personally I know he’s he he likes to express himself so it’s all
Right if you if he if you you generally play your your character on the golf course I think gagan jit is also um very self assured very relaxed he there there’s an air of um I mean subtle superiority around him the way he walks the way he hits the ball you know he
Knows that he is a lot better than 99% of the field that makes a difference when you know that your ability is better than majority of the players that makes a difference and he has those victories now with the updated leaderboard it’s gagan jit at 19
Followed by rahill and angut at 17 and all three are 5 under today so they basically stand with they started and in uh fourth position at 15 under we have dyanu Bajaj was 7 under today alongside KARK sh 6 under today and then Arjun Prasad is six
Under as well and he’s 14 under he’s joined there by Rashid Khan and tangar Raja and tangar Raja with his birdie part on your screen he was was in the right rough he’s uh rolled it up onto the green which was probably the only shot he had from
There yeah and yeah one of the few parts that have reached the ho from come from that would have taken a sizable hit sizable hit we playing a sizable tournament we live from the tataa Steel toour Championship 2023 you live on ABP Network ABP News and uh if you want to get more
Information about this tournament you can head on over to www.pof india.com and uh if you fancy yourself a good player and uh you want to try yourself uh you want to try the professional ranks then you can head over to the professional golf tour of India qualifying school which is being played
In this very City next month and in February as well you can fill the form if you have a handicap I believe of two or below as we have a look at Rashid yeah Rashid you know I I never count him out see yeah I was so good he read it to
Perfection he hit it ex you know you can see it it had written it had ho written on it exactly it had a destination and it reached there and uh yes for those of you who want to play the Q school you can fill the form the door is big it is
Grown My Le I thought that might miss on the left but actually came back in the end from here yeah he it was like a triple breaker right to left left to right then you know yes I would think pound for pound this golfer would be the best in the
World very good player is Rashid Khan yeah narrowly missing out on his birdie attempt actually is uh he to wonder must be feeling like he’s let a few go there yeah especially given the fact that it te off from uh goldmar you want to capitalize there was only two underp
There I just uh all the other players were more than three or better that I’m seeing you have to go down all the way to 22nd for somebody to be worse uh then three two under and actually all the way 25th 28th baj had a one under
Front night D Sheron had a three over front nine there that’s the only player who struggled on B yeah alen on your screen playing alongside karand coacher who’s on your screen right now K coacher always likes to support these full sleeves very lanky Build do dance moves in there shendra solid swing from shivender strong uh player ball by long as well I go are a different kind of a player col guys tell the story that strong Power Player uh these slow motion uh videos of uh you know wers expressing themselves this uh that’s almost a story it by itself right like you can see there good afternoon viewers we are back live from the buy golf course on the final day of the Tata steel TOUR
Championship the season ending event of the Tata steel pgti season and today we are joined by Mr DB Sundar ramam vice president raw materials division Tata steel and golf Captain jamshedpur uh sir thank you for joining us today first of all I would like to ask you how do you
Look back at this very fruitful association between Tata steel and pgti over the last few years thank you uh good afternoon everybody I think the association has been wonderful uh I think we started in 2019 and now in last 4 years we are seeing it is growing leaps and bonds and
Also this is also giving a very good uh you can say uh moment momentum to the golfers of jamshedpur and I think all the golfers of jamshedpur they look forward to this Tournament being the last leg of pgta and also it is known as T Ste TR Championship everyone looks
Forward to this and this is now I think is going to give us a big momentum going forward as well uh sir thank you for giving us these wonderful venues to play at uh the bilyy golf course and the gurri golf course uh as a golfer yourself and if
You can speak for the others here in the golfing fraternity uh how do you look at the leadup to the event you know how highly anticipated is this event is there a lot of excitement among the golfing fraternity here when the event is about to happen just tell us a little
Bit about that so I think this has given uh really a very big boost to the golfing fraternity of jamshedpur we always say that with 300 plus golfers having two golf courses both gur and buildy with almost 27 holes being maintained I think it’s really a facility which I don’t think any any
Other any Tire City could afford so it’s because of Tata steel Tata steel is supporting the events one after other and with this event I think even our calendar also starts after that we have Steel City Golf we play and also we are playing many inter Club tournaments and
All but I think everything starts with pgta and Tata s tournament and also people look forward to uh this T tournament and also I see many uh students and many New Comers who are also now enthused and sensitized by this golf tournament and the other day when
We did a press release I think thanks to the local media they have given a wide coverage to this tournament across jamshedpur not only jamshedpur in eastern region so I think with your Association as well as with Tata sales backup and also support uh golf is going
To be really a big event going forward also today as I mentioned we are 300 plus but we see it getting into more and more because we also done some small changes in our systems we said you know to be a member of the club to be a golf
Member so then I think people are catching up with that and we also see our Sports Department of tatas is also trying to get golf training to youngsters and all with this jamur definitely is going to be another chandigar going forward you heard it from Mr DB Sundar
Ramam he’s been one of the driving forces behind this event this year thank you for talking to to us today sir and it’s back to you in the studio Shia and Amit life with via always full of altitude I think Tata St has been such a benefactor of sport and golf and you
Know to produce this fantastic event the way it’s organized it’s almost a crescendo the way you know everything sort of builds up the entire year builds up to this one particular moment and the man who is as they say come at the are come at the man gagan Buller you know on
Your screen was rahil ganji earlier earlier I remember when I first started professional golfes were not allowed you were not your caddy was not allowed to pull a trolley for some strange reason you know I can imagine ri’s fiance carrying that bag like am Deep’s you
Know wife used to do it man I was you know hats off to her she was and in in the most adverse of condition we were playing in Thailand or Malaysia in the middle of the summer there like 100% humidity and she used to carry that shoot staff bag you know unluckily for
Her they were trolleys were not allowed but now with the with the with Co you know after Co people Tred to had started carrying for themselves a lot and that’s where the trolleys really came into being I think it’s sensible move to have trolleys you I was contemplating having
One of those battery ones like you know you go abroad you have those battery you know yes troles there but I think we saw caddy it’s called I think but at the end of the day we have a responsibility to uphold the livelihoods of the caddies if
We all start using our yeah completely you know I I’m a purist in that fashion that because the integral part of the game of golf especially in the subcontinent in India are the caddies they actually run their houses and you know not I mean we haven’t really
Touched upon them and how important they are can you imagine during Co what they must have gone through with you know people not taking a caddy and you know I remember we we started a we we started a fund for them to we collected money so
That we could give all the caddies of nor gol course some money when nobody was taking them it was something which was very close to all of us who were m out there yes it you know it’s a thankless job and it’s a very difficult job to be traversing the length and
Breadth of the country with these players and you know you find the good caddies changing players three four years after every three four five years because the player either Withers away or moves to a different tour and you know normally the players very few players only give 10% or if if they’re
Earning more they give seven 10% you know golfers also have a tough time themselves only the good golfers and the good caddies make money so it’s a diff difficult life but all that would be the furthest thing from gagan jit bu’s mind he’s in a similar place to Rashid Khan
Maybe a little see if he gets the line right no it’s left yeah it was more that we saw rashid’s move drastically from right to left’s got a good read with that part you know he’s got a shorter one coming up similar line he’s seen the ball so it’s it’s always an advantage
When you see somebody putting over your line or very similar to your line you see what the ball is doing the ball as it loses speed it does more okay and that is around the hole so you want to know what the ball is going to do when it reaches the whole
Area yeah so it’s U but that was a good part but maybe borrowed a little bit as you see angad and his caddy you know we were discussing caddies and how important they are for all these players Anan leri he met his CAD last week and you know he
Took him to the United States America to caddy on the PG at T I think that would have been the first time yeah yeah I mean I play JP caddies for me was it the first time that ever happened to a cad that they was taken from India to the PJ
Tour you know I I I don’t know what are the facts on that but might well be I don’t quite know if a player that shows you the level of trust and the relationship that they have that ANB had taken him for I think an entire season
And many tournaments to the pg tour so yeah he’s he’s a good C Raji Ang with his birdie part on number 13 this will get him within one of our leader Kagan jit came up and out of it you saw that he was just up and out of it a yeah
Earlier I think that that is also a telling sign that he was still thinking about the line it was not that convict you know that was not a stroke of conviction yeah I think he didn’t trust it completely what he had seen so indecision is worse than a bad decision
It’s coming back to that per yeah paralysis by analysis rahill ra seen this one this does a bit right to left but not as not that much it’s very slightly from his right the greens are a little slower here as compared to Gold Moro I don’t know how that changes things would
Obviously break yeah as soon as you hit the part on the 10th hole you know the speed of the green so it’s these are pro golfers they need to adjust quickly he said it’s well yeah he did it gagan showed him the line so he’s now moved to
18 and now he’s forgotten all those Miss buts and everything looks brighter now if you so I think Amit it comes back to one very important point you might be a good butter but if you’re good ball Striker you’ll get so many opportunities eventually they will go in the ho you
Know and thing is you know some days some weeks is your week and some weeks are not you have to understand that is the that is the part of golf not not everything is going to go in and not everything is going to miss and as long
As you give yourself enough chance so this coming back to you know there was a very famous uh uh multiple major winner Tom Watson and in his initial part of his career he used to blow up the last round leading a tournament so when he went gone to in one of the press
Conferences that termed him as choker initial part of his career so we are back live at the Wy golf of course uh live the final day of sorry the third day of the Tata steel pgti uh Players Championship the toour championship and we are joined by Sachin basya who’s had an outstanding season
With two wins this season and he has been in contention for the Tata steel ranking number one spot so let’s speak to Sachin Sachin uh to is over back on the track game fin thank you for the go course is very good thank you final round all the best
It’s back to you in the studio and Shia that was uh nikel with the Sachin basya who is currently fourth on the order of Merit he couple of Victories this year so coming back to Tom Watson’s story and you know they T termed Tom Watson as a choker and in this press
Conference somebody says Mr Watson they’ve termed you as choker what are you say about that he says they’re probably right but you know if I keep getting myself into that position again and again I’ll find a way to win and you know that is called you learn as you
Go as you as you proceed you’re learning more about yourself and what you need to do in situations so AA with his chip on number 14 heavy handing it a bit you know that’s uh really out of character there to see him hit a Chip Shot like that
He’s uh really on the money majority of the time the first time that we’ve seen uh such a Chip Shot very uncharacteristic you know so Rashid him finding himself in the greenside bunker on 14 playing alongside karaja Rashid Khan at 15 under power quietly creeping up upon the leader look
At rill now he’s gone birdie far Eagle birdes so for under for the first four holes at the back nine I love the way Rashid Khan hits his bang just stand and Stand and Deliver technique which you know shows that he really knows how to use the bounce well
Yes also had good purchase on that you know he has control on those shorts they they don’t spend too much they don’t roll either you know if your ball is dancing on the green there has no chance of going in yeah so need to put spin but
Not so much R dancing around now this is going to be an interesting shot let’s see how he treats this one after that miscue I really want him to be a little more aggressive on this one what happens to Golfers is that when they hit hit the
First one a little firm they sort of back off on the other one and that’s how you sort of you know keep uh making more mistakes so you want to be a little more aggressive on this one really gets into the sh like Jack nichas see he crouches himself into a small Target
Yeah he’s he beating down on this one he wants to make it really short and that’s very surprising I’ve seen him for many tournaments and this is the first time that we’ve seen something like this happen but that’s golf it can happen I saw him on that remember you you
Mentioned to him to me earlier on the on this show that you know he’s a good chiper and he took his SP on I can’t remember that it was the hole the and and he puted it there is a little air of doubt in his chipping
Right now you can see seem so I mean maybe it’s a weak thing and we saw a week to week thing we saw him je he was just impeccable way he played there and this looked really quick and uncertain you know because when you see you know human beings when they’re under pressure
There’s two things you can slow down and calm yourself and you you know you know do things like in control or 99% of human beings try to hurry things they’re not sure about they want to get over and done with and you can once you have that
In your mind you will your your your swing shortens becomes fast and quick you lose your timing you lose control so now you’re trying to roll you know so it’s it’s you can see that his anxiety had built up yeah yeah maybe something to do with with the kind of grass that
You have here you think that no so you can see on our screens that they have done a really good job of getting berura around the greens there’s the grass around the the playing area around the greens is you can see it on your screen it’s there’s it’s berura now so I’m
Talking about the Chip Shot that he had from uh the rough there you think that a players technique um would be better to a certain kind of grass and wouldn’t change I don’t think so right would a player be able to adapt to different I saw that chip it was really quick also
You know he uh he kind of HED into it so it got a little hit it too hard and then this one he again got really quick his back and backed out of it so both chips were very similar technique both mistimed for me when you get it hit
It so hot off the face is also a Mis time chip and this when you hit it really short is also a m so that was just him hurrying you can see how quick it you don’t want to be that quick in the transition in a chip you need to
Make sure that you finish your back swing and then start your down swing yes so we’ll see how he does this time maybe he proves us all wrong and holds this in we saw him making some very good chip in in in jaur that week he was actually
Able to chip in and uh almost won that tournament and came down to the wire let’s see if uh he can extricate himself from all this misery and just drop a solitary shot for me it looks a little too quick again oh give that a good run but uh
It’s not pretty not done dusted yet that is for double bogy and that’s going to drop him to at least 10 under pass so his hopes of winning this tournament uh seem pretty much all yeah I think safe to say that uh they are now on
Hold well ryel is uh just one shot back now so you know he’s forgotten all those putting Wars of the front nine and he’s uh world’s looking brighter and you see what a few holes can do to you and you know Rashid this is for PA on number 14 so he needs to
This is more like a momentum saver he’s just birdi the last to remember us him reading it really well and then narrowly missing out here it’s just uh it’s one in the wrong direction yeah you can see the shoulders moved a little bit obviously short small gut punch of sorts
To make bogy from there h yeah and uh know I’ve seen him over the last uh few tournaments I saw we he was right in the middle of things with in Kolkata as well and he just you know he had a few Wild Ones coming in
So he just wants to put a little bit of a curb on those mes coming in on the last day or two and Raja with his power part on number 14 the steadiest of the Lord so far in this penultimate group yeah it’s you know you see that on that’s shivendra on
Number that is yeah that’s the 14 D the power oh yeah a lot of the players playing short of the has it some fancy footwork by kand K there arm speed by Rashid good Rhythm by yeah so made a meal of the whole thereafter but was pretty good off the tea
Yeah so many different ways of doing it all on your screen today to championships from jamur on our screens young man from chandigar seen a lot of him there’s a lot of pink on the golf course today it’s uh really burst onto the scene which is all over the new and everywhere
That I saw him uh the first year that he turned yeah it was a lot of uh talk around him and uh somehow just hav hasn’t uh you know shown us uh what we were all expecting at that from all the hype that was around him this man on the screen is
He’s just your grit I think they’re all a long career he can still resurrect fortunes this is one game that you can at any point there’s so many ways of uh you know was some some have come to light much later than there in their like Brian Harman for example the open champion
This year uh 35 years old before and he was a Phenom as a junior he had won multiple he’s won the US Junior am and the US am both which is the two other USG events other than the US Open this is our leader group rahill
Gagan jit and angut playing number 14 R safely on the pting surface this has been a little bit of a uh now you’re seeing a challenge for a golfer in the last few groups that we’ve seen come in haven’t seen a birdie on number 14 year shya yeah it’s probably
Playing a little difficult for a lot of the players that flag pin position on the back left is what you call a sucker pin position that’s the one you hit to the center and but to the corners exactly what’s also unique in this group you’ve seen um two players sharing a
Chat and I’ve not quite seen gagan G joining the festivities he uh T to c a lonesome figure doesn’t quite believe in small talk it seems and I’ve seen that obviously is a very Jo character so is Rahel ra is always yeah and Kagan jit is a very serious
Campaigner yeah kagit has his own uh time to gossip right yeah yeah yeah I heard a few um by stories about him so it’s uh again that brilliant drone work well that’s leaderboard Kagan jit at 19 Rah at 18 Ang at 17 KK at 16 Dian
At 15 so low scoring week here five par fivs so uh lot of birdies and Eagles and our order Merit leader has had a good day today he’s he shot Seven under today prash Johan kagit over the back a little bit of in the spot of B prash has climbed himself into 16th
Position he’s jumped about 15 places today sha so he’s he’s not letting go Aman Raj the only person who can displace him is 6 today and yeah is 4 under making a contest out of it I stated to you previously that if he can somehow reach
15 under par then uh it’s pretty much game on and that seems to be the story right now as you have a look at gagan jit Buller in a spot of bother here it’s not the easiest shot here he’s one of those who likes to have his glove off short game short feet
Yeah yeah what a brilliant shot there by gagan jit made that look easy and it was a very difficult shot mind you not just a long game the pter he has everything uh going for him at this point in time yeah he he you know he’s been
Playing on the Asian T he knows the demands of playing at the highest level that you need to have a short game to you know back your long game rahill studying grass you know he’s uh he’s he can smell Victory right now he’s trying to
Be a golfer and a Bist at the same time is rahill they say understand your enemy I’m not quite sure certain if the golf green is your enemy D got his his whoop band on which is something which is revelation uh it’s it’s a band which most professional golfers wear these
Days it’s uh gives you your heart rate and you can see if you can and how much you’ve recovered from the day before and what even if you can really get down to the bottom of things it tells you exactly what helps you recover well also
So it’s really good Tool uh for an athlete AE on your screen on 15 angad with his birdie put on 14 oh brilliant he’s going to join r at 18 so they tightening up the news on gagan jit a bit yes the boogeyman are coming gagan jit you best make that
Part he’s looked in control so you know let’s see how his nerves hold up on this hole yes it will be a test riy with a very makeable Birdie on number 14 and he’s he’s made a couple of parts in the last couple of holes so he’s you
Can the hole has just grown bigger for him break a little from his left yeah fantastic see once the flood gates open it opens yeah once it rains it pours but and is we for the first time we have a joint leader in this event Ry has joined our leader gagan jit
Who has a four five footer left for his Spa on 14 to remain at 19 under R is just with that buy taken himself to 19 under you can see the manual scoreboard at the background and get a shot back right now at 18 they’re really delivering on all the promises this leader
Group no he’s yeah the in the armor yeah and now he’s not the leader anymore the leader is rahill ganji and that’s he’s been clawing back on this nine this nine gagan Buller is one over and Ry ganji is five under on this nine hasn’t he been Sublime he’s five through five holes
Yeah you know and this is not a golf course which is yield so many birdies known gets on a roll he can keep going it’s he’s a good ball Striker so he gives himself a lot of looks and he’s uh and he once he gets the ball finds the hole He he’ll keep
Finding it because you know it’s it’s it’s more of a confidence player brilliant play by rahil ganji here at the tataa steel thr Championship 20 23 presented by Tata steel being played at gold and B golf courses at jamshedpur offering a price fund of rupes 3 with 45 lakh yeah you heard that
Right 45 lakh going to the winner and the rest of them don’t go away scotf free either they get a lot of money as well the second place 30 lakh and and then so on so forth lot of money a lot of Pride world ranking points as well on
Offer so it’s it’s a lot of play for this week for the plge it’s a big event and this also helps them to move up on the order of Merit om prash Chan who already won his challenge tour card by the virtue of winning that tournament uh
On the challenge tour this year and he has an opportunity to win his European DP world tour playing privileges by being the number one player one more good round and he should have it sealed up yeah uh Aman Raj will really need to serve a lot of heroics on the final
Day and even the last three holes it’s definitely being true to form yeah that’s how that’s how a champion player responds to adversity yeah that’s just like a you know it’s uh this is a this is what you want to see in a in a student you’re teaching who can you
Know you know come back from adversity Rashid with his birdie put on number 15 this is the 15th old has a uniqueness has no bunkers to no green side bunkers very rare to see a hole without bunkers it’s very elevated like a tabletop and of green and lot of fall
Off you now that you said it I’m actually having to think have I seen um to my memory it’s it’s very rare to see any green without a bunker yeah and this is one of those rare greens without a bunker Raja with his bir part on number
15 this is the penultimate group of tangar Raja Rashid Khan and AKA Sharma we have a new leader right now ladies and gentlemen it’s rahill ganji he’s 19 under one shter head of uh angad and Kagan M who are at 8 under each this is steel and this is an idea
What happens when we join them something fantastic like Pro St that never age that save our forests or customizable artifon wardrobes that match your personality and are redefining modern home tomorrow is shaped by imagination and steel tataa steel we also make tomorrow taraja using the whole hole our leader rahill angut and gagan
Jit playing 15 very good short tracers of the number 13 I’m really good slow motion from Power Play screen Che our defending Champion honey vya one handing It we live back to live coverage from the to championships 2023 from kmri and belly Golf Club in jamshedpur also known as tatan nagar a leader currently rahil ganji at 19 under seven under today five under for the first five holes of the back nine he’s gone birdie par Eagle birdie
Birdie for the last five holes whereas gagan jit a leader after the first two rounds and two shots ahead starting the back then has gone bogey birdie Bogi so he’s one over and Riley at he five under that’s a six shot five HS angut with his approach number
15 the hole without any green side bunkers a rarity looking intently looks like he’s uh White a bit left of the flag gagan jit from position A1 duu shiron on your screen not having a good day today on the 16th power five gagan jit with his approach into number
15 you’ll want to get those that shot that he just dropped back quickly let’s see can bounce back now leader R gangji nothing more than a wedge so it’s like a green light flag ding it down looks to be happy with it yeah body speaks the language of
Certainty yeah so you know such a drastic turn of events as far as gagan jit and Ryan is concerned he’s made up six shots and five holes on gagan yes just um as I said that road ride a lot can change on that half an hour 20 minute drive over from golday to
B yeah I know experienced it myself I like can I just play the Resto rest of the whole year itself because you know uh we more go forces as well I think uh rahill has definitely liked the pting Serv is a lot better here it’s shoting
Him he’s holding a lot of parts here yeah he likes slower greens I guess H especially today it seems uh but it’s all said in levity it seems that uh when it when it starts clicking it should does and they have the long hitting on
37 must up and out of it a bit could be a bit right and short playing alongside D shiron and KARK Sharma KARK Sharma has those that’s very distinctive preot visualization routine of his but he has a really good ball flight I don’t know if you ever seen him
In real life first see him at drivers I’ve seen him once um about a month ago on the Range in gurugram and it was just fantastic the way drivers maybe about not even 7 to eight yards of dispersion between 20 drives and all of them on you
Know as they say a frozen rope and good about 290 in the air so he’s uh you know fortunately there’s so for him there’s so many good players now so you sort of get you can get ignored a little bit unless you perform really well and
That’s the depth of tour now you would only in years gone past you would only see that sort of driving on the European or Asian tours You’ rarely see Indian pgti professionals be having being that consistent and long with the driver but uh that’s the case now so the alltime
Record on the PJ tour of pis hit is by a gentleman B not very many people know is Calvin Pete who for first first African-American to play on the PJ tours so he has I think 90 Holes without missing a fav or something like that and
He’s one handed this one so he’s not very happy with uh how he swung on this one 90 hes is a lot yeah feet maybe more actually I’m not sure about the number so but how was his golfing record how was he your player yeah he sh a lot of Fairways but
He very far though yeah I’m assuming both can’t happen yeah you know sometimes the distance comes a little bit of I’m amazed on how accurate Bryson is with his distance though made it that far and that straight is you know a degree at that distance is 30
Yards gagan with his birdie part on number 15 as he can make a bounce back birdie you know he’s up and out of it the last two parts so he’s there’s a there’s a element of Doubt which is crept into his putting so and it’s always short so he’s not being able to
Gauge the speed of these greens yeah it’s not the easiest thing as I said you know players moving from one speed to another it’s when we saw him play on the front line he was had this dripping speed where he would just about make it
To the hole and the greens go slower you can’t have that kind of speed you need to be a little more firm with your with your parts yeah I think and that adjustment um sometimes is easier said than done you know when uh you know I have
When I teach students and they say oh it was green was so fast or the greens were so slow I said you know you got to know that speed on the first scen itself so you need to adjust and on fast greens you end up leaving it short and sorry on
Slow greens you end up leaving it short on fast you up hitting it too much that’s the trend of a mistake somebody who’s not having any issues with the putting surface yeah for for him this pting surface must feel like a carpet at home comfortable rug for him yeah he’s
He’s rolling it really well on this nine and oh I jinxed him normally that’s what the job of commentators is that’s commentator curse it eventually comes into play and the last member of this leading Trio angat Chima with his birdie put he’s just one sh a drift so this could
Bring him into a tie for the lead with r gin moving day has been rather interesting year been many of seven underp pars rarely do you see that sort of an occurence Karthik Sharma Vu Bajaj Arjun Prasad seven under Rah G can you imagine he shot Seven under by boing the last ho
Theanu he was eight under yeah that’s quite the round that he had going pretty much under the radar till that time that double bogy really spurred him on mhm he was even PA through three and uh he decimated this nine with birdie on 11 12 13 15 16 and started from the the
Ninth hole actually very eagled yeah I think something about that that interview with you spur demon I believe you he had good golden trinkets he had a really good vibe of it wasn’t very flustered with his uh result he says you know I’m playing well so I’m looking forward to the weeks coming
In angad with his birdie put on number 15 this will get him to a tie for the lead and a lot of people have misread this yeah they always under uh Tiding up required formality okay this is uh getting interesting shya yeah titly Bunch leaderboard that’s how
We recommend lot of money at stake and and um you know we the professional golf tour of India always delivers on the biggest stage and there’s no stage bigger than the Tata steel T Championship 2023 and yeah the biggest players in attendance as well the Heavy Hitters so
As to speak rahil ganji this man has played around the world he’s made a One On a par for he doesn’t you need four shots five shots not him he needs one when he made that one on the Nationwide toour and then you have Angi
The youngster you know I use that word a little Loosely when I say youngster I once played against rill uh in all India uh I think it was a quarterfinal and uh we had such a tussle and we came down to the last hole actually where birdie did to beat him by
One on the last hole it was in kga it was his you know home course he had just shifted to Bangalore and man I have yet to play better than that on kga he’s he’s a fierce competitor and then you have gagan jit Buller a man who needs no introduction youngsters trying to
Establish their name Karthik Sharma dianu Bajaj um seasoned veteran say somebody who’s in his 30 now good player from Kolkata Arjun Prasad youngster from gurugram Aman Raj uh also W to be the number one player on tour heing from Pat with that fantastic victory in japur carik on your screens and then Rashid
Khan sometimes Jo called King Khan definitely plays like one tangar Raja khim josi lot of pedigree lower down you have yat sing Sandro ball striking machine yeah you know it’s U being the a little bit of a dip there but uh he’s a he’s a good ball strier for
Good know extra movements that he does have that perceptible dip with the ball takes up really well very flat penetrating ball flight he has that he has the physicality of a cricketer you know you see him on his for as well and he’s definitely in with the times it’s got
Cool as I say a cool customer d z all his Visions that’s Vick the the Vick from am looks like him it looks like him I don’t know if it’s yeah it is Vicki looking a little different I think the years have Ang like yeah looking really cool as wi you
Really digging in that good hit this carik no uh a lot of um good golfers on the ex they play left handed I was just uh I think it was Adam he’s scratch left-handed he’s a single F handicap difficult to be scratch either handed and to do it with the pure
Lunacy should be this really uh great coach he still is a great coach Mady he was scratch both hand both hand left and right and one day he decided that one tournament he did first round with right hand second left hand so little bit of golf trivia for
You there m and he then one decided that I’m not going to hit the aard and a wedge I’m hit the wedge having anime discussion there Shon and pretty much zon is z in his caric doesn’t want to have anything to do with that discussion just wants to
Focus on his body English and move his head all around make sure it’s a Saturday evening and you get into the groove of things look at karik Sharma put some music on see him hit the drive ball takes off straight you can’t quite tell where the ball is gone by looking
At that swing yeah you know you’re thinking okay hang on that’s going left okay it’s not I guess he would be I mean it’s fair to say that swing is not easy on the eye but the ball is it it really is it’s a fantastic he’s a fantastic
Ball stri like w nean you know W Neeman has very similar tip in his body and he’s a multi he’s a multiple winner on the PGA tour and now he’s shifted to live but W is a noral ball Striker and he’s probably dips as much as Kik Sharma
Does no let’s say his head dips now on hole number 17 yeah he missed this screen so that looks like he’s just made a bogey we’re having a good week nevertheless and what a day seven under par he still has the opportunity to have the round of the day by making another
The solitary birdie and moving to eight under for the day all of them are trying to I was going to say all of them are trying to pursue gagan jit Buller but had amnesia for a moment now I realize Rahel ganji is a top the leaderboard not
Gagan jit Buller now he finds himself from the outside looking in that’s how fortunes can turn on the professional golf tour of India here today gone tomorrow you best make a lot of birdies otherwise you’ll be cul down Pate gr wait into 16 the power five so another B
Birdie opportunity coming up for our leaders tangar Raja background Rashid trailing at the back very impressive name Tanga Raja has a hard-hitting personality and a heavy name Tanga Raja right there playing through to form he got this uh this walk which is uh doesn’t give away any emotions it’s just very it’s a
It’s a walk to inight fear among the heart of opponents Tanga Raja used to be a tailor rather benan background yeah used to be a tailor back in Sri Lanka and then from there one thing led to another one day he got a golf club and the rest is
History so from a tailor to a golfer maybe there’ll be a movie One Day could be a fantastic biopic nice movie actually you know they they they’re coming out with some really good movies these days one people how they start somewhere and reach somewhere else so you know different isn’t that the story
Of life I it it never works out the way you want it to you always start somewhere have but eventually they get wayed and you Meander somewhere watch the movie butterfly effect that teach you a thing or true about how life has its own
Plans as we have a look at a here let’s see what life has in store for him on this short yeah he’s not had the best pitching day so far hope he has better Lu yeah I I would say that you really do know your game Amit I you called it I
For one saw him and jaur and I was pretty much sold on his short game and uh you found something where I couldn’t quite see it must tell our viewers call is sp is paid I’m surprised how is he chipping like this if he was chipping so
Well in jaur and he had that sort of aggressive setup towards chipping how is it now that he’s actually missed the green twice thce actually now with this know walk while eating he is right next to the he was on the front of the green he could have parted it from
The any reason why this would happen to a golfer where you’re sort of overshooting it and just anxiety result and you know you want to get the result and you you know you start you know hurrying the whole process and you should just calm himself out take a
Couple of deep breaths visualize the shot do go the do the whole routine the whole mental not just the physical rehearsal the mental rehearsal and you see tangar Raja is much more languid in his in his you know technique there was no there was much more flow to it there
Was no you know anxiety as a result there was no hurry in it yeah it looks like that Tempo is something that you would like to fix sooner rather than later as we look at have a look at Rashid Khan you know you know you can go
Back and say oh yeah you know today my chipping was not good why was it not good what were you doing different today than the days that you chipped well yeah and that’s taking ownership of what you’re doing that is going to help you get better with in times to come just
Saying that it’s wasn’t good is not going to you know get you get you better you need to you know take ownership of what you’ve just done oh and that’s uh definitely another one that would required some prognosis to understand what went wrong there he’s coming from that elephant grass crap grass whatever
You call it and it’s not the most favorable uh grass to get good contact with and U I think he just got it a bit bit heavy and got a little bit of grasp between the club and the and the ball so he’s come up Shy you can see he’s not
Feeling too happy about it he’s uh a little hot under the collar there and understandably so with his high standards that shot definitely didn’t meet them you can see from the from the club pH there’s a lot of grass on it that means he he’s got a lot of grass
Between the ball and the club and there’s a steep elevation change in well so not the easiest of shorts visually it would have been quite intimidating hitting a high shot and not having much green so to speak the green is especially when you know you never get
To practice from grass like that it’s it’s Rarity to to find grass like that to practice from so you know it’s uh it’s and feel is such a big thing in golf so doesn’t like to amble about doesn’t waste time now you see he was on
The on the Bermuda side of things so he knows how that Ball’s going to react he took all of 10 seconds he just walked up to and here didn’t walk up to the hole and that shows you that confidence and and being SED I would have definitely
Caused a little bit of a traffic jam and that uh between you and me that was one of my techniques of uh that’s how I failed many of few opponents in match play including the likes of mesh Kuman you know if you can’t beat him slow
Him not like you all no I slowed it down and that used to work out really well to play tournament in Dubai and and I met a person from from the Emirates and he was playing with me and he didn’t know that I wasn’t her me because he had played with harid in
Pakistan the couple of weeks earlier he says oh you’re uh you’re not harid I said no I’m not harid because Amid and harid almost you sound the same let’s have a look at that that that Chip Shot he called harid the th toys from India I’m pretty sure he would not be
Pleased about that and you see how how fast his whole manm you know almost chittery come on slow slow yourself down buddy slow yourself down yeah that’s good oh look at that that’s much better that’s what he’s capable of yeah so you know you could you know
Just slow yourself down a bit you you’ll get it this was a little more slow with his transition you could see that he didn’t hurry into it a lot of ways chip chip also is another way exactly that uh as I say more than
One way to skin a cat no putts on the score card on thatle that’s help his putting stats taraja with his budy attempt on number 16 so he’s going WR his work steadily rifle smile he’s uh got a St look of a station Master otherwise Rashid Khan would remain at 14
Andar riy ganji making a par on hole number 15 now with three holes to go that was a good shot yeah much better Rhythm on that know kind of stance he made to hold that three four photo is what we take on a one photo right now I just just knock it in
Yeah confidence can do wonderful shendra playing 17 the part three measuring at 180 yards today something between a seven or a baby six for most players yeah I think for these longer hitters like cin would go with a seven maybe even a hard eight with the length that they hit it these players
Normally hit their eight times about7 go a little shorter in jamur from what I remember you know it’s just one of those I don’t know why it goes shorter there it’s uh like I remember you know always taking half a club extra because would reach otherwise it’s the
Turf underneath which is a little different from like an ITC like in Classic Golf Resort it goes further it goes further you always catch it really I don’t know what it is but it goes further there so it goes further than JP greens as well yeah and N doesn’t go that
Far it’s the turf underneath where the ball’s getting compressed from is is different so I think the C kicks into place and CR is coefficient of restitution that’s science for a lot of Us Golf science specifically it will soon get into technical Jon that will go all above our
Heads I had something really weird the other day it was like this is how far science can take you that’s karand deep on number 17 with his birdie part almost leaning behind his entire setup seems like a lot of the weight is to on the right foot whether is putting
Or hitting it he seems like uh he’s put a majority of his weight on the back foot very unique setup and way of playing golf yeah you you see a lot of uh you know and probably also to do what with his the way his his his uh strength
Strength potions in his body is you know if one side is more dominant you generally T tend to favor that side and it’s subconscious you don’t even realize it alen with his sorry Sher with his birdie putt fairly makeable putt you know sometimes you see a putt that just
Looks four under today this will take him to five under and total of 14 under and yes it the pin position looked like it was a little bit of a trough and he was uh parting from a little above it the ball would feed into the hole if you get the
Correct line and he did that reachable PA five so I think angad found a little bit of trouble of the te so he’s laid up to his um r on the live fe2 we have our leader group Ang Chima with his approach into number 16 the PA five and
Live feed one we have khen josi with his papart on the part 3 17th yeah well done khin angat with his approach into number 16 the par five you know getting it really close so that should we can almost give him that one Shia it’s not more than two feet yeah
For birdie I’ll take him to 19 under and a t for the lead with Rahel ganji who is our leader at 19 under presently one shot ahead of angad and gagan jit buer KAG B now walking up 16 green brilliant camera work sh you this 17th hole the par three yeah this is
Probably a outside Cher bir you know it’s uh seven irons so average 18 180 yards average distance away from the hole would make it about 18 ft onj yeah on PJ so 18 fo 18 feet whole percentage on the PGA tour would be 11% 18 ft is not too bad uh from 180
Yards 18 ft is really close to be honest that’s the average that’s 10% no I don’t think what you want to head yeah 10% would be so I’m say just giving a 10% the guys were playing well generally are within that average they’re better than the average for that week the you know
The latter the the leader groups are hitting it closer that’s why they yeah otherwise I think the average would might be closer to 35 feet from one yeah one we about 32 33 ft yes so just giving you a few statistics to know you know sometimes s uh Club
Golfers expect every shot to go given just because it’s a professional golfer hitting it and sometimes we only get to see highlights on from the recordings of the pj2 you see gaget has his game face on now it’s a little just got a little r L
By that change in God rahill is our leader now and he find himself one shorted drift 16th green is very very close to the club housee so you’ll see a lot of people coming out and Watching fruit nck electr plus rehydrate feel alive electr rehydrate electroly resten energy Fruit l electr plus rehydrate very soon by angut who also has a very short birdie part on this 516th left himself a little bit of work uh sh for birdie yeah again one of those parts that if
You just get the correct line and he has been parting well so I expect is to go in not much break and for a right-handed golfer something that breaks to the left is it’s right to left slope left little bit of left to right gra won’t do much
Won’t do much and should get there because it’s downhill so given the fact that he has been putting well expect this to go in the hole smiley on his golf ball and why not when you’re playing like that all he should do is smile oh
Not no legs yeah it was pretty much into the grain so you see the ball a bit jumping a because grain grabs the ball very quickly so we going to have a three-way tie for the lead after this 16th hole uh with Kagan jit buing it and
Angad will with this really short bird part coming up will join ra at 19 under so this leading uh group has been firing on all cylinders all three players playing really well Al ganji seven under gagan five under and now angad would also reach seven under yeah
So they’re like uh 14 and five 19 under amongst them s making it look easy at this point in time Ang with his birdie part on number 16 that takes him to 19 under as well so we have a three-way tire for the lead now at 19
Under taraja with his an outside chance for Birdie on number 17 it’s more like a two-part Zone seems to be traversing the entire breath of the green yeah no I don’t see uh any of the members of this group other than him hitting the green and regation actually
So the other members of this Tri are aash Sharma and Rashid Khan Rashid is four under today 14 under for the tournament tangar Raja is three under and 14 under for the tournament and AKA Sharma is two under and 12 under for the tourament I haven’t seen anybody close
On 17 have we had anybody so far just have a look Endra just saw him quite a few actually on 17 from the long part yeah just misread it a bit you still have a few players who te off on the other nine on on te off from
Belly finishing up at GOI namely har gang dig VI Singh having a good run today one under part today yeah he shot one under yesterday as well so he had a dismal first day though he’s actually um moved to jamshedpur so is his own course yes he’s the CEO of call for
Operations yeah at uh chur I can’t imagine by the way he’s a big town boy in a small town that brings us to our leaders playing number 17 now Rashid Tiding up first for his part at number 7 so three-way tie for the lead at 19 under with the between gagan buer rahil
Gji and kachima this is such a good uh uh this is something new we started with our scoreboard at the bottom of your screen this is the group of khen shra making their way in onto their last hole on on your screen is abet Sharma hitting his last t-shot for
Today he’s two Wonder today 12 Wonder for the tournament seven shots a drift of our leaders Taylor Made for him this home likes to move it left to right short arm jab at the ball short tip back SP acceleration I think he could see the ball coming to a halt as well over
There Hangar Raja now I sure what the discussion is about it’s just a little bit of humidity you just feel the club slipping in your hand you want to just wipe it down with a wet towel feel that tackiness in the grip so yeah fairly relaxed sort of a pre-shot routine nothing too
Particular yeah another good drive seems like the that 18th hole is playing into the wind otherwise balls tend to go lot further down place to 4 down yeah it’s a it’s a good uh finishing hole it’s it can set set a stage good stage for drama yeah fairly uh straight forward
Drive like he’s H it to the right move it right to left that’s fine fine good work by the camera team in order to trace that uh call Paul you it’s a small object and it’s um it camouflages itself with the sky so it’s it’s it’s not it’s
A pretty tough job to track that call that’s that’s another field of professional work is to be able to track that and talking about track look at this trackman giving you um yard by yard update how these players what line they take Cur hting on Lower Drive yeah looking precariously at
It Cen you know back footing it yeah really does uh has that swash buckling style does Cen has a lot of power and utilizes all of it on each and every Drive doesn’t quite hold back this path there’s Hazard that comes in the middle which you walk around
You can see a three-way tie at the bottom of your screen rahill angad and gagan jit rahill and angut seven under today kagit five under today speak low scores I think uh in our top 10 the the worst score is 400 or 500 yeah it’s been a moving day where
One or two underpar has not moved you one way or the other you’ve been static I think two under has been probably the PA yeah for the course for these five power FES sh know 72 would play more like 7 70 minimum you know because two of
Those three and all those SP fives are very reachable yeah in fact if if you think about it all the five uh FES for these players uh pretty straightforward irons into these holes for these plays yeah nothing more like like a m into more of them except the 16th which is
Probably at 530 whatever for the medium length players I’m not quite certain which te they’re playing from otherwise there’s one back te from where it’s not reachable I don’t think that’s the tea they use yeah I don’t think that’s the tea they use the one on the left from
Where you can still get there into two with the driver and a three but yeah the other one you got to really bend it around the yes Bush and you can’t get there in two from that one and probably these players can but I remember from yesterday year nobody could because you
Had to really see what the where they they could thread the needle around that tree over the road into this narrow stretch of Fairway this is the visual of uh our last hole at uh B of course and on the top of your screen is
A path 3 17th with the what with the lake on the right to the the end of our coverage with our leaders on hole number 17 lead presently at 1900 shared by three rahil ganji angat Chima and gag buer they all started the leader group with ganit leading the frame there were
Two shots behind him and they have been able to cover up looks like a three horse race right now yeah but you know you’ve seen the nature of this golf course it can offer up saw something changed drastically when rill went P Wonder for the first five holes of the back nine and
Ganit went one over that was six shot swing and five holes on our screens a here at all number so the wind is definitely um you know hurting the playge so the whole is uh playing longer than the Y digits on the scorecard sizable Fanfare as well it’s
Always nice to see that’s something that we tell our viewers that professional go tour of India events are free to watch you can see the short Tracer of for a penultimate go play 18 T has that trigger right before he starts kick like Al share like and three distinct Styles all
Together I love The Stand and Deliver swing that Rashid has this you know I like the way he stands tall and delivers there’s no you know loss in radius interesting to see that Rashid Khan is out driven a seems to have at least maybe 20 25 pounds on him if not more amazing
Speed trying to see where that ball has ended up see this top right pin today on number 18 something that uh favors a left to right B flight you can see Rashid next coming from the right side of the Fairway just trying to figure out who’s further away right now thought it was
His shot like rashid’s going to play first who started new you know eate is letting the person first first seems like Rashid has pulled the trigger C looks in great shape yeah I think a word to the entire golf uh Team here at both the golf courses they’ve done an Immaculate job
To be able to present uh this this golf course in such a fine condition yes indeed know jitp as uh you know I’ve been I don’t know I’ve been almost a decade since I’ve been there but from what I remember and what I see this it’s a revelation I believe you’ll be going
There uh soon again I me I so you too yeah we might the the annual pilgrimage I think unfortunately for us we won’t only have to talk there you’ll have to Stand and Deliver Amit it’s going to be a little different that is what you as they say those who do do those
Who can’t talk but it’s all right I’m pretty certain that we’ll still try and do and talking about doing Ry ganji Anga Chima gagan Buller they’re doing good they’re doing good not letting up it’s a keenly contested battle uh one is trying to Stave off the other two
But then lo and behold they’re clutching at him tightly all three of them are fighting for bragging rights and maybe for 45 lakh as well that’s a big price not to Discount Aman Raj who just let the foot off the pedal on the last hole a bit very unfortunate finish by
Amand yeah we were we were thinking 15 is his number today he’s just Fallen one shy of it at 14 but nevertheless I think of a good charge at it yeah the leaders might still be at 19 when the day is done M um so if he’s five behind maybe he still
Has an outside shot but the problem is not that you’re five shots behind it’s also the number of players between you and five shot behind gagan Buller who’s just recently won on the and Chima who’s played brilliantly the whole year gji and was just found late form in his career so
You know it’s not like he’s then there’s somebody in front of you who are somebody you know yeah I think also that there a lot of players between him and the leaders at the least he would have to shoot at least an eight underpar or do the
Rah 62 yeah 62 would definitely get him in thick of things and then pray to go God that om prakash doesn’t do the same and on the other end om prash Chan is at 11 under par so but the great thing is that he’s made it interesting and for
All our viewers who might be wondering what we rambling about is that the order of Merit Champion will get to play the DP World Tour get status on the DP World Tour kind curtsy the tire between professional go tour of India and DP World Tour yeah which is a big thing
It’s a it’s um it’s a really big upgrade from in you know Tournament purse and uh tournament conditions and quality of golf and once you play it there you know you up your game automatically yeah it’s a somebody like Manu gandas playing the entire season on DP World
Tour not able to keep his card unfortunately U that’s I don’t know maybe that’s like two steps forward one step back yeah you know what you can’t but he’s definitely must have learned grown as a player and as a person so you know sometimes you can’t ways yeah but given the opportunity you
Know player would want to try and keep his card cuz he move of like something what let’s see if he can get back that chipping feel which he had lost in the middle this is could be another good test for him sure but not too bad too bad works out
Pretty well as we also had a look at Ang chim’s t-shot yeah looks like all three of our leaders have par 17 the par three and the it stands at it as it was at 19 under gagan Buller with an easy swing there this should really suit his eye he
Likes to hit those uh nice bleeding cuts to the right with the driver has a lot of Reserve in the tank he probably plays his golf at 90% see how easily HS the driver never loses balance a strong athletic posture yeah you can see that it just
Gets a little bit on top of it and then holds it off a bit Let It Bleed right very very fade dominant uh you know swing pattern I would say an in control swing pattern I think he can also do that because allows you
To be on top of the ball and the moment you allow your body to be on top of the ball the club head doesn’t rotate so much I think fade that kind of fade is a strong players flight unfortunately a lot of the medium built or smaller built
Players don’t have that luxury to play golf that way you have to extract some distance also at least the feel they do yeah so you know somebody like ganit Buller I like this man’s call swing a lot he stands and delivers his no whole part yeah he’s given it everything yeah
He’s you know and you know what his swing is so good you know he’s hadn’t changed it at all over the years and that’s the difference though gagan jit nice little 90% Left Right fade Rah going with everything and still being about seven eight yards short of 10 yard
Short of gagan jit on the left you know I can I just b a b and tell you that you know with that pattern of Swing he yes he can’t actually go after it because once he starts going after it he he’ll start missing because it’s his his
Pattern is such that he needs to you know leave the club face open he can’t release it if he releases it and thatches the ex acceleration you you want to if you want to accelerate a lot you will release it at the end and you
Can’t if you a little bit on above the plane because the moment you release it goes left on you so you need to hold off your release it’s the the release pattern is more like a hold off when the way you are swinging uh when you’re
Swing like kagit and with riy he’s more on plane he can really go after it because he there’s no the ball’s not going to go left and the the I can tell you the even the ball going right is from the fear of it going left most of the time
Some really insightful points by Amit here who obviously has uh made a career in learning about Golf and golf teachings and U you spreading the gospels so as to speak you know it’s it’s it’s so much of physics and geometry and luckily I went to when I I
Did my plus two that is in I had a pure science uh in my plus two so help me a little bit with with the physics and geometry as you say and with this part on number 18 finish a few you know chipping hiccups in the middle yeah I think that chipping
On hole number 15 what it was I think that sort of studied the ship somewhat and uh he came in with a couple his finish was um he made Birdie on 16 15 16 17 18 so he bir 15 and 16 and and then part 17
And 18 so yeah he studied the ship a bit I think there’s some error here on no I remember him buing 15 the power 4 and then he the birdie was a on 16 was a Chipen oh yes yeah bird on 16 and before that he had that uh chipping hiccup on
Number 14 which he could easily forget so yeah not all in all you know not a day that he would want to you know remember but um last two chips have been pretty decent so okay this brings us to the finally the moment that we’ve been waiting for
Moving day has we would love to have this scenario tomorrow when we speak at this moment yes sir all great tie for the lead and all three playing really well today you can see uh angut going first he’s um he leaked it a bit to the
Right that’s when he’s come up a bit short of raill interesting gagan bull only hitting three quarter shots and he’s uh still managed to like really long we’ve not seen too many plays down where he is yeah looks like he really shook hands with that one is playing into the
Wind and you know uh this is uh you don’t see this landing area from the T box it’s a pretty blind t-shot favoring a left right ball flight pattern so some holes which favor your ball flight pattern you’re more comfortable you actually hit it further on those holes than the ones that you
Don’t that don’t favor your ball F pattern you can see that he’s trying to hit a fade here yeah you can see he’s yeah he wants to bring in left it’s a right flag he’s wants to start it somewhere between the flag and the center of the green and Let It Bleed
Right will be ideal and he’s done exactly that from the looks of thing let’s see if he’s got the yardage correct yeah that’s a good shot there by riy he’s really been dialed in as far as yardage is concerned today h a lot of Greens in regulation today I don’t think
He’s missed even one so far well that leaves us just with G on number 18 isach be more than a 99 wed it’s a really big drive there visualization visualizing the shot where you wants it to start and the pattern wants the ball to follow the artist before the mechanic
Here and now his mechanics will produce the Artistry is visualized looks like he’s stored it a bit because the ball moved right to left and likes to move it left to right so to it has come up a bit shy as well so not a pure strike beautiful views drone views of
The last hole at B golf course atur and we are here at the 2023 Tata Steel 2 championships being played at the gold murri and B golf go the front nine being played at gurri and the back nine at B Golf Course uh this is the fourth edition of
This tournament for a Waring prize money of three crores the winner this this week takes back 45 lakhs you have a interesting scenario with the the order of Merit also Aman Raj has made it a little interesting having shot six under and 14 under five shots behind but he needs to come out
And shoot a really low number and hopefully hoping that om prakash doesn’t have the day he had today which is om prash who’s the order of Merit winner or leaders as at present with short a 7even under today and he finds himself at 11 under
So am Aman Raj having to go really low tomorrow and om prkash not having a similar day would make things interesting but which will also the the order of Merit leader earned himself a birth in the DP world tour with the tie up that the pgti has with the DP World
Tour our leader group on poll number 18 Rahel gagan jit and Ang all 1900 gag furthest to me himself work you know he was he had a very short iron in add the Drone a bit G will be first to play those customary handlebar mustaches no he’s I think he just m hit
That one but he’s come up quite a bit short on number 18 and just you can see just um coming a bit up Shy with his SP as well pretty decent from that distance he you know it’s was more more like a ped part of 30 ft next play would Beima I sure what that is but the player seems to have been disturbed by something they’re looking up towards the heavens yeah that’s the Drone which is giving us this visual so I guess they’re not used to drones yeah maybe a little too close to comfort was for comfort my
Apologies this is a challenging hole the finishing hole here yeah this is uh uphill left to right is pretty drastically up uphill first and then it flattens out towards the end you can see he’s given a good trap Ball’s rolling pretty well though going too much steam there it’s got left
Himself a bit of work coming back yeah and Ry has a really really good look at this one though he’s um he’s seen a few puts he’s got the idea of speed of the surface he’s been putting well this nine didn’t have the best putting nine on the front
Nine you know he had one bogy and that was a three part on the E home the I he’s hit almost every green and regulation today let’s see if we can uh we study this one well enough bit of steam at the end so that was level he’ll finish up at
19 under and uh left himself a bit of work for his Spa on number 18 yeah but the final group would still be the same so they better like each other’s company because it’s going to be at least another day but that’s the kind of tournament
That this is is keenly contested see a lot of low numbers here yeah they all all three at 19 under the the tournament record here is 26 under so for them to match it they will have to match at least R and will have to match today’s
Score but Udan has been a prolific winner the fact that he won this twice he knows thing or two about winning big tournaments M long with his far part coming up having rolled by four five ft yeah the first one broke left right so reckon this one maybe a little bit of right
Left the good thing is it’s downhill so this is this green a bit slow from the front line so one thing is good that is down he’s not going to leave it short we’ve seen a lot of parts come up short in this nine there you have it so all three of
Them gagan jit would you know I always used to say that if the scen the slow I would prefer myself with a downhill part at least one thing is out and I’m not leaving it short yeah I don’t need to worry about the speed ganit with his bar part coming up
A bit of little bit of a teaser left little bit of left to right left in it that’s nothing more than 2 and a half three fet gagan G is also going along going along really well today yeah Tiding up well done all three making last this
Will keep them at 1900 so our leader group for tomorrow will be the same as today Rahel and Ang and just to give you a rundown of things um smile today yeah he’s a season campaigner as sanss of time leave no stone unturned my friend Amit but they haven’t affected
Ry as he leaves this tournament alongside Ang Chima and gagan Buller this has been uh the third day’s play at the tataa steel to a championship you’ll soon bring you the highlights so we’d request you to stay tuned there have been some low rounds a lot of seven
Underpower rounds Rah ganji Ang Chima D B Jun Prasad vun chra om aash Chan the number one player as well as M Dharma who went pretty much under the radar and short a 7even under par today and might come up this tag colors more yeah I’m pretty
Certain that he will and this uh extensive reportage of the penultimate moving day was what to you kind curtsy ABP live and this historic partnership between the professional golf tour of India ABP live DP World Tour and you know we have all the stars here this
Week it’s been really good on the moving day and uh any parting words Amit I’d like to tell our viewers that I’m your host sh Singh and my co-host was Amed du and he’s going to have the final word and we’d request you to stay tuned as
Well I think it’s U it’s almost three horse race as as far as this tournament is concerned and the result though we would want to see something more but these three look like they’re really in control of it it’s 24 25 would be the number I think tomorrow that 26 would
Really see it all right so there you heard it from the CL we have 25 the number depth of this feel is phenomenal so you could see somebody thinking behind to get to that number would also see that for them so stay tuned for the highlights and we’ll see you on the
Other side tomorrow Rahil ganji there’s a three-way lead at the top between rahil ganji Ang Chima and gagan bull and uh a fabulous round of seven under following up his personal best of 10 under yesterday rahill has shot a seven under and he’s tied at the top so let’s hear his thoughts about the
Round how was it today today was all just about managing um my emotions about managing myself in my head I’m the only one who can get in my own way so like I said yesterday I need to stay out of my own way I did that
Pretty good um in the second half I think initially I started off as I wanted made one one mistake with one bogie but just stayed calm you know uh the the break I think kind of got me uh Karma listen to some music on the on the
Way here and um yeah I think uh this side was a little better today I mean I haven’t been scoring well on this side the last couple of days but uh today was much better when you say keep myself out of my head what do you mean by that tell
Us a little bit about see golfers basically they get ahead of themselves or they stay in the past the the whole thing is to just be in the present so we that’s the only thing I’m trying to do is is be there with the with the shot at
Hand and um U I was able to do that um felt good hit some really good shots even the last uh hole I had a decent 7 iron um overall I’m really happy with uh all the the entire game and uh the 10and yesterday was that something that really
Uh you know got the momentum going for you today you know we we all want one deep round or a couple of deep rounds in a tournament and yesterday was mine uh it really puts you in contention but with people like uh gagan jit and angad
Around you need to go deep every day I think this golf course throws up a lot of buddies you got to grab him thank you that was rahil gji the joint leader thank you for talking to us rahill and all the best for the final round you you’re familiar with that
Swaga he’s won here before so gagan jit right up there tied for the lead with two others how you looking at the final day um I think it’s going to be very interesting you know Rahel played really well anath played really well as well uh
I got off to a really good start uh today and I thought I would continue the same form in uh in BDI but I think other than that I mean I I played pretty well today um you know uh made really good par saves uh on that half uh this uh
This morning and uh I think tomorrow I’ll be in a much better form and hopefully you know um try and play a better golf than than today and of course you have the advantage advantage of good memories from your last win over here and you’ve been in good form
Recently having one in Asia tell us a little bit about that uh yes I did play really well uh this year in the second half especially starting from uh um International Series in Scotland and Then followed by two back-to-back in um in Chinese type where I had third and
Fifth finish and after that you know Indonesia was that was a dream run played really well from the first te all the way to the 72nd hole and uh definitely you know those memories will will come in in place and hopefully you know uh the old uh positivity will
Trigger down the down the last last round thank you for speaking to us gjit and all the best for the final round and finally we’ll be joined by the third joint leader today that is angad Chima from chandigar angad if we can have you here angad fabulous round today
7 under puts you right up there uh tied at the top how would you look at today’s round and your whole season you’ve been very consistent uh quietly got into the top 10 without a win just tell us about the season and today uh today was good
No doubt I played well I hit the ball consistently I kept in play made a few important parts that I needed to apart from that looking at back at the season it’s it’s been good again like you said without a win uh but I think for me the
Main aim was to play well like not try and look at the result so that’s what I’ve been doing and uh how do you look at this break this is an unusual format playing across two courses you’ve got some time to warm up in between and there’s that travel involved too how do
You look at that break in between uh I think we’ve gotten used to it we’ve been coming here for so long it’s been 10 years I’ve been proos I’ve been coming here so I think we’ve gotten used to it and it’s it’s sort of better
In a way you get time to eat something you can relax and then you start your back night fresh thank you all the best uh angat for tomorrow so we have karand coacher also here with us karandip uh good effort today how you looking at the final day and how you
Looking back at the season it’s been a good one for you in Asia yeah I think it’s been a great season for me um last couple of months have been really kind to me um starting from uh that stretch in Taiwan I think I played really well
And obviously finished 18th on the agent a merit so obviously been a very successful year for me and um but yeah another one more one final day before we can you know end things uh it’s been a great great season but I’m really looking forward to tomorrow I think I’m
Uh six or seven shots back so I’ll really need a deep one tomorrow but uh just trying to go out there be aggressive and trying to make as many birdies as possible and uh let’s hope for the best yeah and you’ve been away playing in Asia how is it coming back
Meeting your mates on the pgti it’s it’s it’s a lot of fun you know just chilling around in the evening we’re all staying at the same Hotel so just uh kind of have that all thing going on like I think it’s a lot of fun um really
Enjoying uh the whole process uh you know I met some of them only like in Jan or Feb when I played the Indian open so I haven’t seen them since so it’s really nice you know coming back here and chilling all with all of them and yeah hopefully I can play some more
Tournaments next year as well on the on the pgti and uh yeah that’s it thank you thank you for speaking to us uh karandip and best of luck for the final round and uh we also have uh dyanu Bajaj who’s very much up there on the leaderboard
Dyanu uh I’d like to ask you about your recent form especially you made that Albatross back in jaur what a amazing moment for a golfer and you feel carrying forward that momentum into this event I mean it’s just not the Albert Ross but it’s a it’s a bunch of a lot of
Other things I mean um uh just uh staying in the process and being in the present is what is uh important right now to me and U whatever comes along with it uh I’ll accept and you started off really well you feel uh that first round really sparked uh your form here
In jamshedpur I mean I’ve been playing well uh all throughout the second half of the season and uh I’m just continuing to do so and U uh playing with a very free mind thank you thank you that was Dian also one of the top performers this
Week and it’s now back to the studio to you Amit and shya
