The best players in the world have different bounces in their in their golf bag they have a wedge with less bounce and a wedge with more bounce they obviously have W wedges with different Lofts but also with different grinds so you can take care of all the different

Situations you’re going to get to on the golf course whether it’s a hot a firm lie a soft lie something that’s really tight or something that’s in the rough you have to have different uh grinds when you’re going out to play I’m here with a couple of the great Bob V sand

Wedges the 56f which is the most popular vogi wedge sold and the 60 t with 4 degrees of Bounce the 56f has 14 now the 56f has no heel or toe relief it’s 14° of Bounce throughout the sole of the club now when you have a a Chip Shot

Like this uphill Li you want to keep the ball on the ground on the ground or low this 56f is a a perfect wedge to do it um when you’re hitting in an uphill having more bounce can help if you’re one of those players that comes over the

Top uh you know cuts across it more bounce is going to help you you tend to be steeper on those shots uh certainly when you’re hitting into uphill um you can really get caught into the UPS slope that’s why a lot of Bounce will help here so this is a

5614 uh it’s a club that I would hit a chip shot with here and you know you can almost hear go in almost went in you can hear the bounce hit the ground that that ball stays low you want to try and hit all these shots they’re they’re best when

You hit it lower on the face and you hit that driving sort of Chip Shot and that one was really low with a lot of spin oh almost went in too so that um ideally Bob vogi and Aaron Dill will say if you can hit it between the second and

The fifth Groove that’s you know when you’re in a good spot to do that this is a little chipping motion a a lot of Bounce I’m not trying to cut across this I’m trying to drive it into the ground so you can see my weights forward on my

Leave foot uh I’m taking the club straight to slightly inside on the back swing no no weight shift going back and that’s three really nice shots with good contact driving down low now if you wanted to try something differently now here we’re go on to the Other Extreme with vogi this is a

604 degrees of Bounce the tea grind so there’s a little bit of Bounce here and then you get a lot of toe and heel relief so what does that mean so you can see on the grind here um it doesn’t go all the way back that four degrees you

Get the relief so when you open up the club um you don’t get that Leading Edge stuck way up in the air now this is going to be a harder shot from this distance but this is going to be a completely different shot if I was going

To hit it up in the air I’m going to get a lot of spin um I can open up this club face and what I like to do is when you’re hitting this shot open open up the club face before you even take the grip so that club face is open the

Handle’s down lower and I can make a much longer swing I might cut across this a little bit and watch how much spin that is there’s a little divot there that’s actually on a 30 yard shot came back to me there a little bit of divot I can even see that the paint

There the grooves just taking the paint uh it’s fun when you get to do this and it’s now it’s almost necessary that you want to get fitted for wedges now I hit that with a little bit of Bounce and it still had the spin I hit a little fat

There that’s why it went a little bit higher it wasn’t quite as low on the face but that’s why you need to get fitted you can find out what your patterns are and you can find the best um grinds for you and and The Lofts too

You want to have the gaps between your uh clubs the distance you hit the ball to be the right amount so again here’s the the tea grind four degrees the most or the least amount of balance so this one you’ll you’ll get a benefit from if

You can hit it a little bit more from the inside and that was really nice there that one I made run a little bit more more of a draw shot but still up in the air uh to control it pretty good stuff here I recommend going somewhere to your

Golf PJ golf professional find somebody that will fit you for vogi wedge or vogi wedges it’s mandatory for lower scoring
