At UFC 285 Welterweight contender Geoff Neal would face prospect Shavkat Rakhmonov who was labeled by some as a future UFC champion. Neal believed Rakhmonov had potential but was unsure if the young fighter deserved all of the attention he was getting. Neal and Rakhmonov would have a entertaining fight that would win “Fight of the Night” honors for the event. Neal would later admit that he underestimated Rakhmonov somewhat, but credits him for being a talented fighter. #shavkatrakhmonov #geoffneal #shorts #ufc

I here with the winner shop cot Rock mov thank you sir I always wanted one of these just because everybody was hyping him up so much it made me not believe the hype he’s a good fighter you know what I mean but i’ I’ve beaten good

Fighters too so uh we’re just going to see on Saturday see what the hype’s about I want to see who this Unstoppable sha cat is I was just like that like he’s not that good you know what I mean he actually sucks you know and uh I

Should have thought about it do little bit different I should have took him uh way more serious than I took him because he he was a serious dude you’re staying right in the pocket you’re landing on him but he’s got a big head right and he’s eating those shocks I used see sha

Like he took takes a lot of damage but that had his shint from hell good shots by Jeff Neil they’re smiling each other it was surprising how he did it like I was not expecting that he didn’t practice it but he he has like some you

Know similar situation so uh yeah and uh he was pretty confident because uh the grip was good and he controlled him pretty good and you know what’s crazy about it uh he finished me in the same way that I finished uh my first UFC fight

  1. Shavkat is a great fighter but he should try and move his head a little bit, he relies a lot on his chin to save him from shots and he almost got knocked out in one of his fights and he was hurt bad by goeff neal
That's probably the only hole he got in his game, if he fixes his defense and head mouvements he will become champ and will reign for a very very long time

  2. Geoff already outclassed Belal, no way something would change in rematch and surely he could punish Colby. He is solid top 5 guy.

  3. Shavkat looks at his opponent like they’re food. Looks right into his opponents soul and you can tell he’s trying to hold back a full blown smile because he knows what’s gonna happen.

  4. Shavkat is just built different. He has massive and big head as well as chin that’s what is making him more stable for shots so he can take way more damage compared to avarage head sized person

  5. Geoff is a bad mfker but he’s also an extremely good sport. He will be back. I do see these two will meet again fighting for the belt.

  6. Neal is a monster watching the fight feel like talent level wise he’s pretty high up there. Should be a top 5 fighter easily
