Finally happened I’ve got the entire Kirkland Signature golf club set that I’m taking out here on course we’ve got the driver we’ve got the putter we’ve got the four through pitching wedge of these beautiful Kirkland Signature irons that were just released and we’ve got a wedge set 12 stunningly gorgeous clubs

That you’ve just got a try to believe how good they are for the price the value is just insane now I’ve also got as you can see the Kirkland glove we’ll be playing the Kirkland ball today so it’s all Kirkland all Costco as we try to take on carolwood Country Club our

About the contest here as we progress but let’s hit the first hole and get to work o we’ll take that it’s be right down the middle I got to say I was pleasantly surprised when I got this driver in hand and just looking at it it

Looks premium but the feel the sound the sound is much more thuy than I would think for $199 driver generally get those tingy sounding drivers at the cheaper price points but this is not that it feels premium it looks premium the results have been speaking for themselves hitting some really good

Shots getting just as much distance as I normally would out of a driver one thing this set is missing is the woods and hybrids that’s the next thing Costco is going to have to roll out I could use it right here on this par five cuz I could

Probably attack this green in two I’m only 250 yards out might get there with a three-wood but as it stands we’re going to have to pull out this four iron now looking down at this four iron not a lot of offset that was also surprising when I saw these clubs for the first

Time I thought they would be a little bit more geared to Mid handicappers and more of a game improvement type of iron but I guess they’re using the Callaway Edge set as their starter set and this is definitely for more advanced golfers going to try to lay up here and get into

Position ooh that’s nice nice crispy feel on of these irons and again the sound is really great it’s kind of a classic sound it reminds me of a Wilson Staff Club that’s the closest audible connection I’ve got here with these Kirkland Signature irons I have found

The rough just barely in the rough but we had plenty of distance there I hit that about 195 almost 200 we’ve got 59 yards here into this flag stick time to take out the wedges I’ve got the lob wedge in hand I think the wedges in this set

Could be the best value of all of them because for $169 you get a gap wedge a sand wedge and a lob wedge 55 bucks a club something like that all right let’s see if we can knock the stick down might have to go just a little oh now

Settle okay one of those things go no stop no go no stop we’re going to have a good cracken birdie and we have a chance to check out this putter which again is another special club that Kirkland Signature rolled out here’s what we’re left with so I love this for an early

Birdie opportunity we’ve got 12 15 ft Max I love this putter I love the Milling on the face it’s like a checkerboard pattern almost down at a dress you can see it’s oversized it’s a pretty wide putter there you got a nice aim point line I would just love to see

A little line added right there or a DOT or something that would make it even better but it’s clean a lot of people compare this to a Scotty Cameron I’d say the quality is just as good as a Scotty Cameron and the price is a whole heck of a lot better

Down here you got adjustable weighting and Kirkland at times on their website sells a weight kit where you can swap these things out oh just didn’t break enough oh it would have been nice to start with a birdie but we’ll take a par here easy par we’re heading to two second

Hole here could be a potential birdie opportunity as well it’s a shorter par for dog leg right let’s see if we can cut a little of the corner off oh yeah we’re off to a good start with this driver that’s for sure so if you saw the video where I put the

Kirkland Signature driver up against the titals tsr3 you’ll know that it was pretty on par with the TSR 3 the only negative to this driver as well as the irons is that you have very limited shaft options with the driver you’ve got stiff or regular Flex that’s it and only

One shaft brand with an even flow Riptide it’s a good all-around shaft but a lot of people like to have choices the driver is 10 1 12 degre but you can move that up or down a degree you can also set it for a draw byas so there’s four

Settings built into the hosle all right we found the middle of the Fairway here I’ve got 119 I’ve got pitching wedge in hand probably would hit a gap wedge if there was a 50° gap wedge but uh as it stands we’re going to go pitching wedge good strike just a little right of

Target maybe just a little long actually and that is again where I wish I had a different Club in my hand but that’s the makeup of this set at 45° the pitching wedge is pretty strong and it leaves a 7° gap between the pitching wedge and

The gap wedge so that’s for me just a little bit too much I think that was one little mistake Costco made when they came up with these clubs and The Lofts they chose for these clubs I would have loved to see a 50° wedge could have used

It right there for sure yes so I just rolled off the back here probably hit that 126 127 it’s all downhill here so uh it’s a little touchy but hopefully we can get up and down with a lob wedge these wedges are as good as my Vogies I

Would have them in the bag if it wasn’t for the fact that the Lofts just don’t quite suit me come on get down there okay and that’s two pars two holes two pars we’re heading to the teeth of this course now though this next stretch of holes is very difficult on this hole

We’ve got a dog leg right it’s pretty long we’ve got water right bunch of trees on the left really narrow landing area we’re going to put this driver to the test here for sure oh was not my best I kind of that was my no right swing and it went really

Left on me all right here’s what we’re left with as you can see it’s a back pin which that doesn’t help either and we’ve got to go around these trees with a big draw but these players irons here really allow you to work the ball again just

Take a look at that offset this is the five iron in my hand much much more blade like than I would have guessed all right I’m going to try to draw this ball luckily because the slope we’re on it should naturally go that way plus I

Usually hit the ball right to left but we’re really going to have to exaggerate it to get around the trees here so I’ll play it a little back in my stance maybe shut that face just a little bit and uh wish me luck five iron in hand here oh yes it’s curving maybe

Even a little too much it did it finished left of the green so we’ll have another chip in a putt here but I really like these irons and the fact that if you’re a person who’s a lower handicapper or if you’re in that 12 handy C range trying to get lower these

Clubs they offer a decent amount of forgiveness but they’re extremely workable and that’s what you need you need to be able to shape shots you need to be able to move the ball right to left or left to right depending on the hole you can definitely do it with these

Irons all right now I’m just off the green by Bo a yard and a half to the apron so still pretty decent I’ve Got The Sand Wedge in hand this is the 56 going to try to chip one close check oh just rolled down a little bit

More than I wanted 8 and 1 12 ft here I’d say we need the Kirkland Signature to come through here break break oh it didn’t want to break it didn’t want to break all right we surrender our first shot there and bad Drive will get you into trouble on

This golf course like I said this is only going to get harder here for the next few holes another very tough driving hole I’ve got to get past this palm tree which is at about 210 yard something like that there’s not of bounds left it’s very narrow to the

Right there’s a bunker over there as well and some more waist area so it’s going to take a really accurate shot all right now for this shot I am going to try to play a fade all right so we’ll see how workable this driver is I’ve

Only used it in the simulator I didn’t try to hit any fade shots in there but for me if I overhook it like we just did in the last hole I’ll be in the bushes maybe even out of bounds and we cannot do that so I’m setting it up a little

Off my front foot going to take more of an outside to in swing here and let’s see if we can move it left or right we did it’s subtle but that is going to be perfect it’s even more perfect than I really wanted it to be it was a much more

Aggressive line so this driver I would say is going to be airing on the more forgiving side side rather than the workability side it’s kind of a a scale it’s either really workable you can really move the ball or it’s really forgiving and you hit a lot of Fairways most average

Golfers like us would probably take a fairway shot over anything and I do think that this is a very forgiving driver that Kirkland Signature has put out oh this is really position a I’ve only got 105 yards in I’m going to go gap wedge here which I think should be

Perfect for this 52 now there is a hazard here in front I’ve got to carry some water and then some bushes and the pins in the front so it’s really well protected rather be a little long if possible but this should be the perfect distance it’s time to attack after that

Bogey oh it’s on a good line if it’s the club oh yeah oh it hit and stuck we’ve got a great opportunity at birdie we can make that bogey right back up I hope great spin on these wedges it landed here it went up there and it sucked

Right back to here I’d say we’ve got 10 maybe 11 ft here just slightly right to left oh we could use this come on it’s tracking yes yes we are back to even par that was huge oh perfect Drive absolutely perfect Drive Great wedge shot perfect putt

That’s how you do it okay I’m jazzed up I’m ready for more first par three here finally get a chance to see if we can really knock one tight I’ve got 173 now and normally would be hitting a seven iron here but I think we’ve got a little

Wind kind of hurting us and so I’m going to go six and rather be long than short here with the water in front oh good strike again I love the sound nice height the Kirkland irons have great Peak height and that was perfect for distance we’re below the hole it

Looks like we’ve got maybe 15 ft there for birdie oh yeah that was a golf shot we’re a few yards long probably five yards long but like I said I’d rather be long than shorten in that water like I saw from the tea box we’ve got 15 ft here for

Amazing but I’ll take a par here and we got through those tough three holes even par we’re heading to the hardest hole on this side the number one rated hole it’s a big dog leg left part four a lot of water on the left side big tree covering

The left side of the green as well it’s going to take two good shots but if we can get past that hole I’m going to breathe a whole lot easier here one thing we really haven’t talked much about is these new yellow balls from Kirkland they rolled out the new balls I

Would call them the version three balls earlier in the summer and these yellow ones just hit store shelves it’s the first time I saw in store when I picked them up today and I got to say I like the compression of these balls they’re not too hard they’re not super soft

Either they’re right in between I would say and in terms of distance I’m getting all I could want out here the only thing I’d say is maybe I’d love to see a little bit more spin green side we had that chip on to I would have liked to

See check up just a little bit more and maybe a little bit more roll out from the iron shots but not a bad ball for basically a dollar a ball at $27.99 in store $28 for two 12 packs it’s just over a dollar ball and that’s what many

Of us should be playing especially if you’re losing six or 12 golf balls around you should not be playing a Prov or a super premium ball you should be playing something like this which is a very good ball it’s not the best ball out there but it’s very good and for the

Price extremely good value let’s try to hit that nice fade like that oh yeah it’s actually pretty darn straight it’s going to catch the hill and hopefully go down once again this is really position a I’ve got 150 yards on the button I’ve got eight

To make do with what we’ve got we should just be on The Fringe there I might even be able to put a putter in my hand but likely I’ll be chipping boy this is kind of a funky little lie I’ve got I’m definitely going to have to chip it and

I’m going to have to put that ball way in the back of my stance and yeah this is going to be this is going to be a fun one for sure I’m going to put the camera back here because I won’t be able to put it

Behind me hopefully I can knock this one tight I really love to get a par here 5 de wedge in hand settle settle settle settle settle everything is just a little too far today I was worried about leaving it short but that ball literally rolled right under the camera so uh

Longer par putt than I would have wanted here for sure should be a little right to left for me left to right for you could use this putt for sure I think I pushed it just a little I didn’t hit it so we surrender a bogey on the number

One hole here and we are plus one now but we’re still in decent shape because we’ve got two real easy holes here and then we’ve got the tough par five island green to finish it but I feel pretty confident maybe we have another birdie in US par 4 it’s about 370 375 straight

Away yeah this driver is pretty darn good right now looks like it’ll be right side of the Fairway maybe into the right rough but we are safe no tree trouble and uh that’s a win right now all right we missed the Fairway by one yard let’s see what we’ve

Got guys are just putting the pin back in now it’s 140 we’re going to go nine iron here got to carry that bunker that bunker we got to carry at least 135 to get past that bunker nice strike just a little left of Target just a little bit short there probably

Hit it 135 but luckily avoided that trap I didn’t want to go over that trap CU I knew that that could be a possibility depending on the wind it was tough to gauge well I’ve got a little weird hump in some sand so I’m actually going to chip this one lob wedge in

Hand need to get it tight bite yes that is exactly what we needed to do there we’re heading to a short par three and I’m going to have like a nine iron in my hand I really want to get aggressive here because I think we’ve

Got a chance to go maybe even par with this full Kirkland Signature set that would be something we’ve got 130 on the button and since we came up a little bit short there on that last hole I got to think there’s a little wind in our face

And this nine iron should be perfect cuz I thought we hit it about 132 on that last hole oh maybe hit it just a touch thin but it’s on a good line and it’s there we got a birdie Putt and these irons they’re not the most forgiving

Clubs in the world absolutely not but I did hit that one a little on the thin side in it forgave that sin so I said it on the last video where I was taking a look at these irons I give these irons like a three out of five for

Forgiveness so it’s definitely going to help you guys that are more in the mid handicaps trying to get lower you’re going to get a little bit more forgiveness out of these clubs I still would say these irons are really meant for your 12 handicaps and lower I really

Do think that that’s The Sweet Spot everything else is pretty playable for all ranges of golfers I think that driver is just long and forgiving enough to be for pretty much anyone the wedges I think are pretty much for anyone the putters defin defitely for everyone so

Those irons it’s the one thing again maybe Costco made just a little calculated error there in who these clubs are for but I’ve heard a lot of people really happy that they are the clubs that they are I’m really happy with that shot we’ve got a very reasonable chance here for birdie and

Very long time we just need to put one in the Fairway it’s a rather wide Fairway there is a bunker on on the right side and there are trees on the left but the way we’ve been hitting this it’s wide enough for us oh I pulled it is it going to be okay

It’s flirting with the trees on the left I think it’s going to be fine but that was a nervous nervous Drive I got to say we were flirting with disaster but I think we’re going to be just fine I’m going to have to keep the shot low

Here under the branches but that’s the only thing I got to worry about I’m just going to be laying it up to where those guys are he’s standing at the edge of the Fairway at 159 I think if I take like a seven iron try to hit it low

That should be perfect and it’s probably the one Club I think we haven’t hit all day so I’d love to hit every Club in this bag that is going to be perfect all right we’ve got one more shot I’ve enjoyed this set immensely I can’t even tell you how cool it’s been

To play these clubs people see my excitement and they’re like what’s wrong with you well let me tell you what’s wrong with me the value these clubs provide to the Golf Community is incredible it’s a fraction of what the big dogs are charging for their golf

Clubs as much as a third of the price in most cases here and I think that’s exciting I hope we start to see prices maybe get a little bit more reasonable I don’t think we’ll see a change but I do hope it happens and at least it puts

Some pressure on the big manufacturers out there so that’s why I’m excited I’ve got 108 to the flag stick now it’s a back pin so we can go the easy route and play for middle of the green or we can go the aggressive route and really try

To make something happen I think that Gap wi should be perfect because if it is just a little short I don’t mind that see where that pin is they’re shaking hands I’m going to be up to bat here where I got to take a deep breath it’s up it’s
