Can skip it if you need to uh but for now here we go let’s play this cadarius Tony is an athletic freak the guy can run routes like no other he can he can return punts but when you’re making costly mistakes like that in and out I

Mean from beginning of the season to the uh to middle of the Season throughout your whole career it’s kind of like you just don’t love the game of football you’re just out there because you’re just so athletic that you born with that type of athleticism but you’re not out

There to be the best teammate you can beat or best football player that you can beat because those mistakes that he’s making should have been corrected after the first time if you love the game of football you go back to the locker room you take accountability of

It all you go you go hit the practice field you make sure you look that ball in catch it and tuck it and secure that ball well and that’s what you do if you love football and then you don’t make that mistake again but when you keep

Making mistakes like that you must must not be that much into the game and you must not love the game yeah so he didn’t hold back um coming from a place in which I played the game I do not think grank was meaning that maliciously I do not think grank was

Meaning that in super negative um in a super negative way I don’t believe that because grank kind of is saying what I feel like some of our leaders on the team needed to have said a little bit yeah it’s good to show people some some love but it’s good to have a little

Tough love and I understand what he means by this um I don’t think he’s a lot of people were saying he thinks that because he dropped the ball he don’t love football it’s not as simple as that um I think what he was trying to say was is that cadarius Tony is very

Talented but is he just in the NFL and is he just doing this to make a paycheck and then he’s more worried about this off the field concerns in which a lot of of people in New York said that about cadarius Tony and they were like you

Guys wait uh he wants to be a rapper he wants to do this he wants to do that football’s not on his plate he’s always had that stigma and every time you thought he had got over the process and he was like well no he come to Kansas

City he’s ready to go he’s ready to he’s ready to win he’s ready to do this ready to turn it up a notch he’s kind of taking a step back this year and so I think all grock is trying to say was look this is a game where

You have to give your all every day every day every day you’ve got to get better you got to get better you got to be a good teammate you shouldn’t be making the same mistakes in week one and week 15 you can’t it’s mental mistakes and I don’t think he’s just talking

About the drops per se I know that’s what he listed but look just last week week before his toll goes over the line again I I’m pretty sure he’s signal to the ref I don’t know if he waited to get a answer from The Ref that all happened

So quick but by the way he was off sides so it didn’t matter he’s just having mental mistakes um is he taking care of his body body properly this guy’s had bad injuries the whole time I don’t know I’m not in there I don’t see how he

Handles himself and I don’t know if it’s fair to say cadarius Tony just doesn’t love football but maybe it’s fair to say is cadarius Tony giving his all to the Chiefs is cadarius Tony giving his all to the football career or is he just so gifted and talented that he’s just in

This position because of that as grank was stating but his heart’s just not in it I don’t know that’s for somebody to decide that’s for somebody to decide not me that’s for him to decide that’s for his coaches that’s for management that’s for the players his teammates that’s for

Mahomes to decide I I I feel like something like that could have been said by Patrick Mahomes would he have said it no you’re not going to throw your teammate under the bus like that but if grank says it grank has no affiliation to this team and A lot of people are

Just saying hey gr’s a hater gr’s a this I kind of get where he’s coming from I mean you can’t really say the tak’s wrong wrong um we all love Tony I don’t want people to badmouth anybody on the Chiefs I don’t want that I’ll stick up

For my players I’ll stick up for my team but you can’t you can’t uh you can’t always take advice and I’ll say that I think that was advice I think if cadarius Tony hears that that should fuel him that should be advice that should be something like grank one of the best

Tight ends to ever play the game because the best is still playing for Kansas City right now one of the best tight ends playing the game is telling me look get it together get it together and maybe maybe you just take you know you take some heed you take some warning

From that and you just apply it to yourself and if you want to play football then you got to get better look you need to be working on those hands all day every day be at The Jug machine for six hours a night who knows uh you

Have to do it if you’re not going to do it if you’d rather be doing this doing that doing this doing that it’s whatever but yeah he he prefaced it by saying cadarius Tony was super super talented he runs routes he’s quick he’s Shifty he is cadarius tunnel’s got all the

Potential did I call him cadarius tunnel cadarius Tony has all the potential in the world but it’s almost like he’s not applying it and he’s not a dumb guy he’s smart uh so so it leaves a lot to be desired as in does he want to do it is

This where his heart is um I’ll let everybody decide that let me know in the comments what you guys think uh if you think cadarius actually loves the game he’s just struggling or do you just think maybe his heart’s not in it fully and that’s why he just keeps making

These things I guess we’ll find out in the in the next few weeks in the off season again he was supposed to be wide receiver one coming into this year Brett V the entire team come forward in the off season and bestowed upon him the reigning Super Bowl champs

Gave him the title of wide receiver one to the greatest quarterback in history and nothing a Monumental failure let down this year so it’s like did you take that seriously did you take it I don’t know we’re gonna find out a lot of people are saying is he going to get cut

Blah blah blah Chief signed a new wide receiver today you seen that in the title it’s nobody special it’s nobody special if anybody thinks Anthony Miller is going to come in and be the Savior to the Chiefs you’re crazy I it I don’t see there’s no way this guy last played in

An NFL game in November of 2021 it’s been over 2 years since the guy’s been on the field uh the Chiefs did sign Isaiah gathings I said yesterday that’s going to be the one they sign they won’t sign the other kid they’ll go with gathings he played on the team during the

Preseason but yeah back to back to Miller he played at Memphis he was pretty decent he played with naggie and Chicago he’ done decently um in 2018 they targeted him 54 times he only started uh four games but he played in 15 he was targeted 54 times he had 33

Receptions for 423 yards to seven touchdowns they used them in 2019 52 receptions 656 his touchdown production went down a little bit two touchdowns year three 16 games six games started 76 targets so he went from 54 8576 so he’s still getting a lot of targets 49

Reception so he had a 52 reception season and a 49 re reception season 656 yards and then his third year with Chicago 485 two touchdowns again and then after that he kind of roamed and Roam and roam he went to Houston he went to Pittsburgh um I’m pretty sure that’s the

There’s yeah yeah I don’t think this guy’s going to be anything that’s just groundbreaking um I seen somebody today saying that this cat was going to come in and this was the uh the cadarius Tony replace replacement this was the mvs replacement this guy be lucky to see the

Receiver we signed the tight end a lot of people are wondering like what is this is Brett V guys everybody’s W Zack hers we don’t sign Zack herds we sign Isaiah gaing we don’t sign a wide we don’t go get Jarvis Landry we’re going to sign a kid that’s not played in two

Years to the practice squad this is what you get it’s it’s what you’re going to get with Brett ve he’s doubled down this is the team that he thinks is good enough to win granted why he didn’t do nothing the off season why he didn’t do nothing at the trade

Deadline he thinks that they’re just they need to come together and they’re good enough to win he may be right we’ll see he may be right we’ll have to wait and see I think if you get us in the playoffs we’re dangerous anytime you got momes on the field you’re

His size is uh the jump ball ability but we didn’t see it a lot we really did not see it a lot in the first you know six seven weeks of the Season whatever it was till he was injured didn’t see it a lot I would love to see that uh moving

Forward maybe a few fades in the end zone you know may maybe you know like the one against the Vikings where momad throws it up and he just lets him go get it that’s what I’m hoping for let’s see if we can get Justin Ross I just want to

A win for Justin Ross here is that Justin Ross just increases his snap counts every week because what that’s showing is that he’s getting it Mahomes is trusting him and he’s trusting him they’re letting him build the same way with Rashi rice you’ve seen him it took

Forever to get those snap counts going and now that he’s getting it he’s getting it so that’s all I really want to that that’s all I want to see out of Justin Ross that that’s it um kiwi what’s up has anyone asked who’s on the practice squad there’s a bunch of

Colorado that’s news I I don’t even remember this guy being added to the practice squad uh Matt Bushman well on Matt Bushman we love Matt Bushman Cole Christensen linebacker they have now added Isaiah gathing uh Tyreek Gillespie the safety from maou you guys probably familiar with him Jason godric the

Offensive tackle Darius Harris the linebacker Keon Ingram we signed him a few weeks ago Truman Jones I like trumman Jones I think he’s somebody that that could maybe develop sort of like a Malik Herring type player not their production not their body type but just a guy that you’re going to put

On the practice squad see they can develop uh you got Chris Ola doen quarterback you got Daren Canard our boy from UK Mike panel they’re still listing them for the practice squad I guess they just move them up and down P Ryan Cornell pal deneric Prince Austin Ryder Keith Taylor corner

Out of Washington and then of course montre Washington wide receiv R of Sanford that also played did some kick returning special teams played with Denver so that’s who they got on the practice squad right now that’s what they got uh Doug what’s up brother he says Big Mike who’s at fault 70% the

Wide receivers and 30% Mahomes and the coaches for this season what your thoughts I don’t know I it’s if you look at it from a purely if you look at this season from a purely standpoint of just an outsider looking in that don’t know anything about the

Chiefs don’t know the ins and outs and you just look at them and you compare them to everybody else you say this team looks middle of the pack to top tier we don’t look like Elite so you’ve got a few Elite teams and we’ve shown flashes we’ we’ve tiptoed we’ve cadarius Tony

Tiptoed into the elite category for a little bit um against the Eagles we played pretty well I thought we should have beat the Eagles we beat ourselves against the bills for the majority of it we struggled but I’ve seen signs of the offense we’ve never played at full

Strength I give the most and and people dog me for this I don’t know what Steve would think I give the most the majority of this to Brett V I’m just going to say it I think Brett V and Reed because Reed too I I know Brett be makes it happen but

Reed kind of decides hey I’ve got enough at wide receiver I don’t can you go find me somebody can you do this can you do that and then but and a lot of people just blame V you know V is cheap he didn’t go do this he didn’t go do that

But I think he listens to it’s all a big revolving everybody throws their ideas in so I’ll say we’ll just put the the coaches and the management together I think that’s where the problem this year has lied because they just missed they missed on the fact that they thought our

Wide receiver core was good enough and I just don’t it didn’t pan out on the field it didn’t um I don’t think they thought Ross was going to be anything special special like instantly but I think they expected decently good things from Richie James especially after the

Preseason I think they they we know they expected cadarius Tony to be a wide receiver one they said that all off season I think they thought mvs was going to step up a little bit this year I even thought mvs was going to step up a little bit this year especially after

The the playoff game against the Bengals last year and then you kind of thought he was going to just you know catch we all thought Scott Moore was going to develop a little bit better this year than he did so that’s where I’ll also put it on the receivers because it

Strictly is the receivers it strictly is the receivers um some of the tackle problems have reared their heads but for the most part the tackles have been decently solid I mean momes is he’s had to venture in and out of the pocket but that’s what Mahomes does sometimes he

Gets a little you know anxious and this and that but I think the majority of it is the the wide receivers not developing and then sometimes the play calling and this and that and not really finding the right spots to put so I think the management but then again the players

Have to get out there and make the plays at the end of the day too so right now I’ll say it’s who I mean I don’t know who to blame I don’t everybody wants somebody to blame but it it’s tough I think it’s just all a team effort and we you win as

A team and you got to lose as it and you got to evaluate it as a team and I think from top to bottom I just think everybody kind of missed the mark this year Mahomes hasn’t looked himself this year but from time to time he has and is that

Because they didn’t put the players on the field for him is that because they didn’t put the players in the right positions on the field for him possibly so see it’s just a carousel it’s a revolving door of who’s at fault and it’s a blame game and I don’t know I

Don’t I’m I think you have to look at is hey as bad as we look this year to a normal to a normal fan base they would still kill to have a team right now that’s won the same amount of games we are they would kill to have a team

That’s just locked up the eighth division ninth division in a row something like that they would they would kill to have a team that if you put us in the playoffs you’ve got a chance like you’ve got more than a chance to make a little run so I think

In a sense we get a little too caught up in it but I’m also under the camp of I don’t want to be like hey we won a few let’s go back to the days where we struggled and just be happy go lucky we

Won a little bit I’m not that guy I want to keep continuing to build so a lot of the stuff comes off as negative people say that all the time it’s not negative it’s just me wanting to grow and grow and grow and hold people accountable and

I wouldn’t ask these people to be held accountable I didn’t knew they could do it like we see how this team can perform but they don’t tend to do it on a week toe basis and then that’s when it falls on the players and the coaches

Out wide he goes to the slot this and that but I don’t know will they throw more to him I don’t know how many targets he had last game what do he have three four targets maybe maybe five somewhere around that if they were smart what they

Would do is they would continue to have a little bit of designed you know screen game setup for Clyde maybe sneak him out in the slot see if you can get them on a linebacker but that’s the thing about Clyde too he’s got pretty good hands But

Clyde also don’t have that burst and that quickness to separate necessarily either so if you put him out wide I mean he may outrun a linebacker he’s not outrunning most Corners he’s not outrunning most safeties to be honest Clyde barely could look I’ve seen times where Clyde doesn’t look like he

Could outrun Creed Humphrey so I don’t know and that’s not a knock on Clyde it’s just Clyde’s not that guy like he’s not Alvin Kamar you can’t just throw him out there let him go so I think it’s a pipe dream if we think that he’s just

Going to be like this gamebreaking guy but to answer your question they may throw to him more I don’t know they may um Roy what’s up Roy he says what about Jerick in the slot for a few snaps that could be a possibility I mean you could

See that I don’t I don’t think we’re going to change anything like to do all this kind of stuff I think you have to completely have given up on your wide receivers at that point and they’re running backs for a reason they don’t run the route tree crisp they don’t

They’re not you know they’re not Elite Speed getting in and out of breakes they’re not deceptive route Runners I don’t see us changing our entire offense to put a bunch of running backs out there wide like I this has been a narrative kind of put and this is so

Weird this is what happens because you’ll get some of the talking heads and the The prominent Chief people and they’ll start throwing stuff out there and then like everybody kind of gets it in their head that hey this might be the way to go and then everybody repeats it

And then by the time gets to me or something I’m like this is crazy like could that happen yeah possibly but I I don’t want a team okay I don’t want three weeks till the playoffs to me have to start relying on running backs to be

My pass catchers I don’t want to have to start relying on Anthony Miller a guy that’s not played in two years to be the Saving Grace or Justin Ross who’s literally played about six games in the NFL and with six games probably less than 50 snaps total it’s crazy I just

Can’t do it um Chris rright what’s up Chris what’s up brother he says isn’t that Hardman guy back this week you know I don’t I can’t keep up with MCO Hardman I can’t I don’t know when he’s injured when he’s not even when he’s not injured he says he’s injured and when

He’s injured he says he’s not injured he said he’s never had a history of injuries that’s what he said all off season and then we make a trade for him and then he’s right back on the IR can’t keep up obviously I could care less too

No I I don’t know if it’s likely I really don’t um the Ravens have been playing well they play just they play a style of ball that’s it’s a style of ball that should be fit for this time of year you know you go outdoors I think I don’t know if

They go to Pittsburgh or what but anyways it’s designed it’s a ground and pound uh they don’t don’t take a lot of chances they got a good defense they run the ball it it it’s designed you would think it would be designed to do well in the playoffs as well even though they

Routinely choke but I will say I don’t think that um I don’t think that the Ravens are anything that are super super scary out of one seed we’ll put it that way do I think they match up well with us the way we’re going this year it

Looks like they could match up well with us because um our we’re defensive Orient team and they you know they they can ground and pound which means it limits our chances on offense keeps M homes off the field and we’re not a quick strike offense anymore we don’t put up a lot of

Points anymore it becomes very um strategic and and Andy doesn’t do well at those games that’s why we struggle so much against the AFC South be it the Titans or I think the Jaguars were we do pretty well with the Jaguars but they kind of you know they’ve got that more

West Coast style but all the other teams the Colts they play that grind you know the ground and pound and all that crap and just play defense try to keep clock management going so yeah I don’t know if I’m super scared of them but we they do

Match up well probably with us this year uh the Dolphins they haven’t really shown they can beat anybody but do I think we can get the number one seed it’s possible not likely I would say we probably fall some I’m going to say probably two seed is where we end

Up too bad we don’t get the uh too bad you don’t get a buy for the two seed anymore or do you no you don’t get to buy for the two seed man you used to I think back in the day I’m so old I can remember back in

The playoffs man wild times wild times of course we never really made the playoffs much we did in the 90s we did you know we’d make the playoffs or we’d make the playoffs under dick verm and then we’d get to the we get to the playoffs and just completely uh screw

The pooch every time that’s what happens uh what’s up Taran Taran says we need to adjust our pass game strategy not one player that’s true too we need to use um N More throw short more and limit the rotation Noah Noah gray I got you and limit the rotation let the best guys

Play um yeah I think uh using Noah greymore would be great I do think gry is something they need to start maybe featuring a little bit more down the stretch I I like the uh I like the 12 and 13 formations and things so yeah that that’s a good idea

But but you’re right I think a lot of it is they some of our receivers just don’t they play out of position I’m telling you Sky doesn’t play in the right position he doesn’t play in the right well it’s not that he don’t play in the

Right position cuz he will play the slot a lot he just don’t run the route tree doesn’t fit him or something something about it it’s weird weird but uh almost all of them down through the list don’t play well and again this Anthony Miller guy is another slot receiver like how

Many more slot receivers can we possibly get on this team Samuel says I see a lot of the same stuff offensively from week to week almost as if we’re stuck and can’t generate new plays are you seeing the same thing you see the same stuff

Out of Andy Reed from year to year it’s just the I mean it’s pretty close to the same if you remember back with Alex Smith the Reon we okay so the reason the Chiefs took a step forward with Patrick Mahomes not I mean he’s got immense Talent don’t get me wrong like he’s

Generational but he took Andy Reid and he took the uh we’ll call it a West Coast style he took that style and he was Patrick transformed a little bit like he could get out of the pocket he was mobile and once he was out of the pocket he was dangerous uh he didn’t

Care to throw the Deep ball he didn’t care to be a Brett Favre Gunner on the outside and I think that’s what transformed the offense to what we were used to and accustomed to and now all the weapons have kind of dwindled and now I feel like we we’re falling back towards a

More traditional West Coast dinking and dunking kind of stuff the big plays just aren’t coming and I don’t know if it’s the coaches calling it that way because we don’t have the players or it’s just the players not actually being in the right spots not doing the right things I guess one of

The two but yeah it does look like we we kind of we look very vanilla it just constantly we always look vanilla like we look like we’re playing in week two of the preseason every single offensive possession just about I’ll say one of the best possessions that we’ve done all

Year long off the top of my head was what was it three four weeks ago I don’t remember who we were playing and we may have even lost the game but if I’m not mistaken yeah we did lose the game I don’t remember who it was but we come

Out in the second half and that was the best offensive Drive I’ve seen us run it was pass pass pass they used Travis Kelce they used Noah gray they used um they used Sky Moore properly they they put him on the outside through a little bubble screen to let him get up the
