Hull City have gone from 21st to 6th in the Championship over the last 12 months under Liam Rosenior, and are now in search of a fourth Premier League promotion in just six years.

It comes in light of Turkish businessman Acun Ilıcalı acquiring the club, a series of very busy transfer windows, and Rosenior implementing a radical style of possession-based football.

So in the fourth video charting Hull City’s rise, fall, and rise again, HITC Sevens takes a close look at the Tigers’s turnaround, what Ilıcalı and Rosenior have got right, and what the future may hold for the club closest to my heart.

During my lifetime spanning just 28 years Hall City have almost dropped out of the football league and ceased to exist have been locked out of their own stadium moved into a new stadium made the fastest rise from the fourth Ser of English football to the Top Flight during the Premier League era winning

Three promotions in Five Seasons got relegated almost went bust again one promotion back into the Premier League reached an FA Cup final played in the Europa League got relegated again promoted again then the owner tried to change the club’s name to H tigers and said that fans could die when they want

He incidentally has since died rip then got relegated twice dropping down into League one and the tigers are now back in the championship sitting just inside of the playoff places at the time of this recording targeting a fourth Premier League promotion in just 16 years it would be fair to say that it’s

Been eventful and I left out of that brief synopsis stories like Phil Brown’s halftime team talk losing 8 nil against Wigan Athletic and that time when my mate got hit with a cab cream meaway at Middlesboro suffering serious sugar and goo based injuries as you may or may not

Be aware I am a hall City fan I think I might have mentioned it once or twice I’ve previously made three videos about Hall City on this channel which I think personally is evidence of great restraint on my part one in 2020 summing up the alamira pretty much at it alltime

Nar shortly before we finish bottom of the championship which actually launched the what in Earth is going on series on this channel one in 2021 providing an update on what had happened in the intervening 20 months as the club was about to be bought by Turkish entrepreneur and current owner ailla

Jala and most recently one in 2022 entitled why Hall city are the most interesting Club in England this season after a fairly wild and sporadic summer transfer window which as the title suggests I thought even without my whole city goggles on was quite interesting so I suppose you could say that it has

Become something of an annual tradition and with not long left in 2023 I figured that I’d best satiate Your unshakable Lust For yet more Exquisite H City content no it’s not just because it’s Christmas and I don’t have to do as much research to make a video about my own

Club thus freeing up some time to spend with my family and girlfriend that is a very cynical accusation honestly I really thought better of you joking aside the situation at Hall city is actually quite interesting in terms of the club’s ownership financing tactics management Recruitment and turnaround

And it has received next to no in-depth coverage at least as far as I can tell in any major Publications or in any big YouTube channels you know like this one # massive even the athletic haven’t covered it over the last 12 months and this is free so it’s not just laziness

And public autoeroticism on my part I am providing a valuable Public Service I am oh ye of little faith what else is Christmas if not a time for rampant capitalism and for believing in that which seems functionally improbable is it really any less likely that this is a

Public service than that Santa Claus can deliver present to every child on Earth in about 30 hours and yet he does it besides for some unknown reason people are forever asking me to make another Hall City video and not just Hall City fans who happen to recognize me at games

So sit back relax and join me on a journey to Hull I know I bet you never thought you’d be so lucky a city of Music poetry emancipation and Ronny Pickering oh Ronny Pickering as we take a look at what has happened at Hull City over the last 18 months how they have

Risen from 21st to sixth place in the championship under Liam RoR and whether any more of my friends have been struck with popular brands of confectionary used as projectiles on a days when Turkish media Mogul aella jaler arrived at Hall city as the club’s new owner in January 2022 having paid a reported3

Million to acquire the club he inherited a rather unusual set of circumstances on the one hand hul is a club with very recent Premier League experience a relatively large and modern stadium and an enormous catchment area upon which to grow a fan base the frugality of the Tigers previous owners also gave ilala

Plenty of leeway in terms of the Championships profit and sustainability rules something which is a big problem for a lot of the League’s other clubs the Tigers were blessed with a couple of very talented Academy graduates in Kean Lewis Potter and Jacob Greaves and a slight Feelgood Factor had returned to

The mkm stadium following the club’s first league title in 55 years the previous season on the flip side Hull had been in in League one more recently than the Premier League just the previous season in fact they were only a couple of places above the championship relegation Zone at the time they don’t

Own the relatively large and modern stadium that I just referred to and crowds had plummeted to an all-time low since the Tigers moved to the mkm stadium over recent years owing to a combination of a downturn in form terrible public relations and broader displeasure with the previous owners in the

201920 season before covid-19 lock Downs prevented any fans from attending games Hull average less than 12,000 fans at home which was the fourth lowest average attendance in the championship for context Hall City average crowds of 17,785 in League 2 and over 18,000 in League 1 that was the extent to which

The Alam had eroded the club support even in the championship in some ways that could be viewed as a positive for ill Jala in terms of metaphorical own goals the alarms were League of Their Own a bit like replacing Frank Lampard as a manager he couldn’t do any worse

Just by virtue of the alums having gone even if ill Jala was a purely neutral force and offered nothing positive crowds were likely to rise due to former boycotters returning and a broader sense of toxicity having been removed in terms of fan engagement bringing back supporters and tempting a new ones ill

Jala hasn’t just been a neutral Force though ill Jala is a broadcaster and TV producer who started out as a sports reporter at the age of 22 and is very well-versed in all things relating to marketing and medor engagements things like taking 300 Hall City fans on an all-inclusive

Preseason holiday to turkey with the players and staff and giving away free biscuits and memorabilia we will come back to the former have all helped generate positive headlines but more important still has been the engagement with supporters and sensible ticket pricing H City operator members ship scheme paid monthly rather than

Traditional season tickets but however you measure them they are among the cheapest tickets in the championship adult memberships start at £25 a month equivalent to £300 a season and even the most expensive non-hospitality tickets are only priced at £35 a month for those age between 16 and 22 memberships start

At £850 a month for 11 to 15 year olds just £450 and for kids under the age of 10 memberships are free in a league where most clubs have raised prices in an effort to increase Revenue as they look to push for Premier League promotion or to avoid relegation whole

City have bucked that Trend banking on making up for the cheaper ticket prices by getting more fans into the stadium and increasing non-tick related Match Day Revenue such as the sale of food drink and memorabilia we won’t know for sure whether that gamble is paid off until the club’s latest accounts are

Published but the initial premise has so far proven to be accurate crowds at Hall City have increased much quicker than I as a hall City fan expected that they would even after the alarms departed from an average attendance of just 12,324 at the mkm stadium in the 2021-22 season when Adan Jala arrived

Which was itself boosted post takeover the Tigers averaged over 18,000 fans at their home games last season and have averaged around 21,000 so far this term that’s an increase of over 70% in two seasons which is fairly remarkable that is as impressive as any recent turnaround on the pitch at least as far

As I’m concerned though of course the two are cyclical the better a team performs partly in terms of entertainment but particularly in terms of results invariably the more people will turn up to watch them and as more people turn up and ATT tendences and atmospheres improve there tends to be a

Positive impact upon turning a home ground into more of a fortress which can further improve results in terms of the results last season was a bit of a mix bag if you watch my video just before the start of last season you’ll know that Hall City had a chaotic summer

Transfer window to say the least keing Lewis Potter was sold for an initial £6 million to brenford rising to 20 million subject to add-ons experienced Club Captain Richie Smallwood dropped down to join Bradford City in League 2 and another regular Midfield starter George Honeyman was allowed to join

Championship Rivals mwol for a nominal fee in the opposite direction Hall City signed 12 new first team players from 11 different countries this wasn’t your typical Championship transfer window ozan tan and aliar side Manesh arried from fenab the Turkish club that aala supports and has intimate ties with Doan

Cynic Benjamin Tate and Adama trior arrived from fellow Turkish Super League clubs and alaspa Yenni malatia Spore and Haas Spore Tobias figero Cyrus Christie and Jean Mikel CI were brought in from promoted Nottingham Forest and Fulham Oscar estupinan was signed from Portuguese Premier leaga side Victoria

And vaugh kov Timo Lula and Ryan Woods joined from other English clubs a handful of further recruits arrived on loan including Nathan Baxter Javier Simons and Harvey Vale all from Chelsea saladine ulad Mahan from Arsenal and demitrios pelas from IL Jala’s old pal and one of turkey’s richest men Ali Kota

Fenar once again the degree of chaos was such that a lot of people predicted that Hull would either be the season surprise packages or would crash burn and potentially go down ever the voice of moderation I predicted that we’d finish 15th on an unrelated note here’s what

The table look like at the end of the season all right shav valad and other of Il Jala’s friends was sacked just8 weeks into the season and replaced by Liam Ria we will talk about Ria’s style and managerial abilities in just a moment but in terms of the club’s broader

Leadership and decision making I think that it was a very shrewd appointment iller Jala and his vice chairman tan kzla who manages the day-to-day running of the club while a Jala is otherwise occupied with his other business interests and had no prior experience running a football club let alone an

English Club were clearly a little bit wide-eyed and green when they arrived at the club the idea that they could sign a collection of talented players from the continent most of whom had at some stage played in Turkey not coincidentally appoint a manager who never managed in

England before and whose last job two years earlier was managing in usbekistan and hoped to win promotion which Jala stated was his ambition in his debut campaign is fanciful at best and slightly delusional at worst I suspect that ill jaler and Keesler likely would have learned from their mistakes to a

Certain degree following their debut campaign regardless of a senior’s appointment but having someone who is relatively levelheaded sensible and has a lifetime of experience in English football and is very familiar of the League’s demands and what it takes to be successful in the championship as well

As knowing Hall City very well from his 5 years at the club as a player in both the championship in the Premier League has provided a vital counterbalance to the ever ambitious and optimistic but slightly less experienced and moderated Turkish Duo at the top of the club in

Terms of Hall City’s recruitment this season for example things were a lot less chaotic Jason Lilo who was on loan at Istanbul sport in the Turkish Super League last season is perhaps the only signing reminiscent of the previous campaign but even he came through the youth ranks at Crystal Palace and

Previous spent a season playing for Doncaster Rovers in League one in total only six new permanent first team signings were made one of whom Javier Simons was on loan at the club last season and was subsequently sent on loan to gain greater experience in League one with Fleetwood town and another of whom

Aaron Connelly was also on loan at the mkm stadium for the second half of last season and only signed a one-year deal to keep both parties options open fellow Irishman James Furlong was also signed from Brighton another of Liam re Senor former clubs meanwhile Ryan orop arrived

From Cardiff City to become Hall city’s new number one and Jaden filene was the Marquee signing arriving for5 million from Aston Villa Hull was still active in the low Market but again this time around they looked a lot less left field Liam dap Ruben vdar gray Scott twine and

Tyler Morton all have experience in the English game theoretically requiring a lot less time to adapt to the riggers of the championship in add addtion to giving Hull themselves far greater assurances that they knew what they were getting if the recruitment in a Jala’s debut campaign could best be described

As a mixed bag featuring some costly errors especially in terms of unduly increasing the club’s wage bill this season’s arrivals have been overwhelmingly positive Ryan orop hasn’t been faultless but has made some big saves and his footwork and distribution have made it far easier for a senior

Side to play the ball out from the back as he intends Connelly has had his Fitness and injury problems once again but has been among the most lethal goal scorers in the division when fit averaging a goal every 146 minutes Scott swine has gradually got better and

Better following a slow start and now looks to be one of the first names on the team Sheet Liam deap could still become more prolific but has frightening potential and there’s hardly a fullback or Center back that has enjoyed facing him this season Tyler Morton is a superb

Technician and passer of the ball who it is easy to understand understand why Jurgen klopp would have wanted in and around the Liverpool first team this season before they managed to sign Ryan graen and Jaden ferene well I’m afraid that I’m going to need a couple of

Minutes to tell you all about Jaden fene I like to think of myself as someone who is fairly balanced when it comes to appraising Hall City players and I tend not to get too carried away the last time that I wax lyrical about a hall City player was Jared Bowen and though I

Took a little bit of flack on here and on Twitter for describing him as the best player in the championship before his move to West Ham with Bowen having scored the winning goal for the Hammers in a European final and now a full England International it hasn’t aged too

Badly All Things Considered I want you to bear that in mind when I say that Jaden ferene has the potential to become not just a full England International like Bowen but a very good International in fact I would go as far as to suggest that no Hall City player during my

Lifetime whether that be Jared bow and Andy Robertson or Harry MaGuire has a ceiling as high as Jaden filene in terms of the level that they’re capable of reaching ferene tore Jacob Greaves to shreds on loan at Cardiff City last season and gavves is no mug by Championship standards so I was already

Excited by his arrival but nothing could quite have prepared me for the flare unpredictability and audacity that this lad has in Spades it’s worth noting that filene was one of the stars of Aston Villa’s preseason tour of the United States and that many Villa fans were surprised to see him allowed to depart

Let alone on a permanent basis I’ve been told the unai Emory told filene that he would be involved this season but was unlikely to start games following the club records signing of mity AR something which seems understandable with Villa currently in the hunt for a top four finish or some may even argue

The Premier League title that would have been enough for most 21y olds but at such a key age filene insisted that he wanted to be starting matches week in week out effectively forcing Villa’s hand Villa have a buyback clause on filler jeene reportedly worth5 million and only able to be activated if Hall

City win promotion according to Vice chairman tan Kesler and that would be an absolute steal for Villa of course injuries attitude coaching and Fortune all contribute to a young players development but if things fall into place ferene has the potential to do pretty much whatever he wants in the SP

His touch anticipation and invention are already of the highest caliber he can beat players at will and wants more just for fun and what’s more before picking up a knee injury which is expected to rule him out for the next four to six weeks no player in the championship had

More end product in his previous 10 appearances philene had scored six goals and made five assists including the championship goal of the month which was an Exquisite improvised back heal reminiscent of tiar onri against Charlton in 2004 when philene was only 2 years old in an England under 21 team

Which contains the likes of Tino Le rento Harvey Elliot Rico Lewis Cole Palmer and non madake it his first two starts against Serbia Philly was the star man incidentally there are more Hall City players in the England under 21s right now three including lones than there are players from any other club

The fact that none had made appearances for the under 21s before joining the Tigers is Testament about the club’s summer Recruitment and their performances since their arrival as far as Liam RoR is concerned the Tiger’s style of play has been crucial to attracting players of the caliber of

Morton and philene very much a disciple of the Pep Guardiola or Roberto deseri school of thought where aor looks to control games by dominating the ball and the middle of the pitch his center backs both of them ball players invite pressure in an attempt to create openings goalkeeper keep ER Ryan Olof

Gets more touches than just about any outfi player the fullbacks particularly Cyrus Christie step out into Central Midfield to create overloads and there are no genuine holding midfields in the team or at least no one who could remotely be described as an enforcer or Destroyer I must admit though I am a big

Fan of playing out from the back I had my skepticism about playing a Midfield 2 of Tyler Morton and Jean Mikel CI both of whom are wonderful ball players but can lack intensity and defensive nouse when out of possession it would be dishonest to say that it hasn’t been a

Problem at all this season on occasion it has but it has been far less of an issue than I imagined that it would be and in possession the benefits are obvious while Siri frequently comes deep to offer an out ball retain possession and instigate attacks Morton tends to

Occupy much more advanced positions and has grabbed a couple of goals as a result in recent weeks because neither of them are are blessed defensively when Cyrus Christie steps into Midfield allowing Morton to push further forward he tends to occupy similar spaces to Siri meanwhile Louie Coyle who is a

Right back by trade but has been playing at left back due to a combination of injuries and a lack of alternative options will slot in alongside Jacob Greaves and Alfie Jones to form a temporary back three it’s a highrisk high award strategy and though the people who sit behind meah Hall City who

Think that both playing the ball out from the back and obser in a minute silence for the almost 60,000 victims of the earthquakes in turkey and Syria in February are quote woke aren’t particularly keen on it and insist that it will get us relegated the league table would appear to suggest otherwise

That’s not to say that there aren’t some valid criticisms there have been times this season where even Liam RoR himself has admitted that his players probably ought to have cleared their lines despite him having drilled a dogmatic first principle of looking to pick a pass into them and sometimes the Tigers

Buildup play lacks the kind of speed and intensity required to open up defenses and kill teams off but overall the turnaround from a relegation battle 12 months ago to being firm playoff candidates now is impressive and those further improvements should still come we can see Hall’s patient buildup play

Reflected in the data for a start the Tiger’s average over 56% possession which is the fifth highest figure in the championship bettered only by the three relegated clubs and sun land in terms of the total number of carries that is just to say the number of times that a player

Has controlled the ball with their feet Hull rank third in the championship trailing only Leicester and Southampton when we look at Progressive carries that is any sequence of play that moves the ball forward 10 yards or more within at least six passes or any successful ball

Or run into the box Hull drop to seventh reflecting the occasional ponderousness and caution that has prevented them from winning even more points this season that’s also reflected in Hall’s overall expected goals the Tigers ranked 10th in the championship for XG and sixth in terms of the fewest expected goals

Against Hull’s expected goal difference is 5.6 and their actual goal difference is seven suggesting that they haven’t significantly over or underperformed their underlying data that won’t come as a massive surprise to most H City fans given that Ryan alsop has made some improbable saves but has also dropped a

Couple of clangers and the Tigers have simultaneously been wasteful in front of goal at times while also scoring from some very low XG chances most notably a couple of ozan tan long shots and a recent Scott twine free kick while we’re on the subject of stats it is evident

That when Hull’s patient buildup play struggles to break down a stubborn back line they are heavily reliant on a moment of fene magic filene ranks in the championship’s top 10 players in terms of successful Tak on Progressive carries carries into the penalty area Progressive passes received successful

Take on that led to goals and most fundamentally goals and assists per 90 where he ranks third in the division trailing only cresencio Somerville and Adam Armstrong both of whom were older than him and were playing Premier League Football last season as I said this kid

Is special and the fact that he is sidelined throughout the festive period which is the busiest part of the Season likely for seven or great games ought to be a major blow to Hall’s playoff aspirations unsurprisingly at this stage lots of people outside of Hall City are

Talking about Liam RoR not just because of the Tiger’s turnaround on his watch but also because of the way in which he presents himself RoR is a very Savvy medor operator he speaks well comes across as being insightful and typically very polite every team that Hull City have played this season are top

According to a senior including Sheffield Wednesday who didn’t win any of their first 13 league games this season and rotheram United who haven’t won a game away from home since the reign of Henry VII and they’re all managed by top coaches with huge Futures in the game it’s all a little bit silly

When you view it as a whole but rinia plays the game well and all power to him the reality is that he’s still in his 30s has a burgeoning reputation within the game and his style and Persona a geared towards being able to manage at the highest level he is still very

Inexperienced before taking over at the mkm stadium he had only taken charge of 12 matches on an interim basis at Derby County but if he continues to learn and get results he will become a very attractive Prospect to at least a handful of Premier League clubs and who

Knows perhaps one day even the England job in terms of what Hall City are lacking despite a very creditable start and where they can improve the most obvious answers are in wide areas and at left back fene is a phenomenon but outside of that Rena’s options out wide

Are limited Jason Lilo has shown glimpses of talent here in there and some smart deliveries into the box but seems reluctant to take players on he is yet to score or assist a goal in 14 appearances and he has been sidelined for the last couple of weeks with a

Hamstring problem regardless both ad damama trior and Scotts wine have been deputized at Wingers but are wasted out there and are far more effective when operating in central areas aliar sanes and Doan syic have been plagued by injuries and January departures for the pair of them would surprise no one and

19-year-old Harry vaugh has failed to kick on from some impressive performances towards the tail end of last season and will probably benefit from a lone move to a league one club and playing regular football Ria masterminded a 3-0 win against a poor Cardiff Cityside in Hall’s last outing

With Scott swine and Liam deap on the wings and whilst both can do a job there and Ander laap is a menace wherever he plays the whole boss would much rather have them in their prefer positions and actual wide players occupying the wings a left back meanwhile H actually signed

Two left backs in the summer young James Furlong from reor former Club Brighton and former wolvar Ruben vagra vagra made 32 appearances for wolves when he was only 19 years old during a season in which they finished seventh in the Premier League but he has played barely

Any football over the last two years Ria clearly felt that he could get the best out of an AR gray but so far he has been disappointing both defensively and quite literally fragile he is another player currently out injured it’s for that reason that first Jacob Greaves and

Currently Louie Coyle have been shifted out of position to left back again if possible I’m sure the RoR would like to have the option of a specialist there as the January transfer window looms Hull are also likely to lose ad dama trior and Jean Mikel Seri to the IR coast and

Marley join the African Cup of Nations next month which means Central Midfield is likely to be one area in which the club looks to recruit Darby’s Max bird it has been well documented is Ria’s preferred long-term Seri replacement but whether Derby will be willing to make a sale midseason as they search for

Promotion from League one Still Remains to be seen RoR has already stated that the club is targeting three new arrivals in January meanwhile ill Jer has confirmed that one signing has already been done while I was recording this that signing was revealed to be 37-year-old Veteran Center forward Billy

Sharp equally one would expect at least three departures holl most likely going to have to accept pretty significant losses on last season’s two most expensive signings aliar Manesh and Doan cynic though that is also likely to have been somewhat if not entirely offset by the sale of Benjamin Tate and last

Season’s top scorer Oscar s jainan who both arrived on free transfers but joined leagan side Mets together last summer the biggest danger for All City Beyond this season and they are victims of their own success in terms of recruitment in this regard is that ferene is so good that keeping him

Beyond this summer would be a phenomenal achievement regardless of buyout Clause triggers there is a likelihood that either one or both of Jacob Greaves and Alfie Jones will attract Premier League interest during the offseason and loney’s Liam dap Scott twine and Tyler Morton have all been pivotal to the

Tiger success this season it’s not inconceivable therefore that Hall City will lose essentially half of their current starting 11 and the strongest half if they failed to in promotion this season and it would actually be very surprising if they didn’t lose at least three of them IL Jala has expressed a

Desire to sign Morton and the lap on a permanent basis which would be Sensational but whether it is realistic is sadly a slightly different question so potentially another busy summer and at least a semi- rebuild potentially looms because getting promoted from the championship this season is tougher than

At just about any other time last season after the same number of games first and second in the championship namely Burnley and Sheffield United had 44 and 41 points this season the top two Leicester and ipswitch have 55 and 52 points after just 22 games it is unprecedented the relegated clubs

Leicester Leeds and Southampton have all retained the core of a premier league Squad and parachute payments give them an enormous advantage over the rest of the division those three combined with the IP switch Miracle means that probably 12 clubs are fighting for two remaining playoff places and of course

Even for the two that manage that only one team can actually win the playoffs and leads in Southampton will go into it as strong favorites there is also the financial issue Hall city has haven’t spent wildly since Ella jaler arrived especially not when one considers the at

Least 16 million sale of keen Lewis Potter but the wage bill will have sharply increased with signings like Siri tan and even cynic we won’t know for sure until the accounts are published again but I would be surprised if the Tigers wage Bill hadn’t at least doubled since ilala arrived and as we

Know the vast majority of Championship clubs Hemorrhage money invariably to their detriment at some stage if they fail to win promotion there are a few ways in which this can be offset or at the very least mitigated against one is increasing Match Day revenue and the sale of merchandise another is through

Player sales like Keen Lewis Potter and Jared Bowen and the third is through commercial deals the first we have already discussed and the second is quite frankly unavoidable at least if you enjoy any kind of success or any of your players perform well which fortunately has been the case for Hall

City this season but the third is perhaps the most interesting of all ill Jala owns his own production company adun Media or media which purchases the broadcasting rights to famous television shows like Deal or No Deal Survivor and the Got Talent series and adapts them for Turkish and other International

Audiences incidentally it is aun media as an investment vehicle which actually owns Hall City ilala also owns the Turkish television channels TV8 and TV 8.5 the streaming service exen which is Turkey’s fifth largest streaming service behind Amazon ATV Blue TV and Disney plus and the rights to the reality

Television show xation which has been adapted and sold in several other countries including the United States Mexico and Brazil all of ilala companies are privately owned though which means that it is very difficult without having an intimate understanding of those particular sectors to try and estimate

How much wealth and capital he has it is disposal the figure frequently quoted in the Press is $100 million which is a suspiciously round number but likely has little basis in fact because that oft quoted headline figure is quite low though I mean obviously not in regards

To the general population but in terms of the owners of championship football clubs where only Plymouth Norwich and possibly whoever actually owns West brom’s owners have a lower estimated net worth it has sometimes been speculated as to whether ilala is the money man or whether he is a front for other

Wealthier parties or individuals that speculation came about in large part after morat Ula was pcture with a jaler at the mkm stadium uler is Turkey’s richest individual worth an estimated $5.1 billion according to Forbes at the time of this recording which puts him just outside of the wealthiest 500

People in the world he by contrast would rank as the third wealthiest owner in the championship here is ala pitched alongside aala decked out in Hall City clubber inside of the club shop alar is basically the heir to his father’s food-based business Empire yid holding which owns well-known Brands like cars

Jacobs and mcvities yid holding is and this is a stat that I never thought I’d quote on this channel the world’s third largest biscuit player behind mes and Kellogg You’ll Never sing that you’ll never sing that the world’s third largest biscuit player you’ll you get the idea basically or biscuit sorry that

Was Dreadful alar is very wealthy and in September mcvities became one of the Tiger’s main sponsors mcvities aren’t the only whole city sponsors with Turkish ties far from it in fact of the club’s principal Partners aside from kcom and mkm the former and current Stadium sponsors they are all Turkish

Even Kappa whole City’s Kip manufacturer is the Turkish arm of the Italian sportswar giant which produces H City’s kits incidentally and by that I mean not at all incidentally 14 months before that deal was struck with Kappa replacing Umbro agilla Jala bought the rights to Kappa turkey supposedly at

That time with a view of becoming fenar kit manufacturer Annex tour owned by nes at kotar and based in antalia and Coran Airlines a Turkish Airline also headquartered in antalia are the other principal sponsors meanwhile EST Medical Group who are best known for turkey’s most famous export hair transplants and

Turkish real estate company real to Global are gold level Partners last season Turkish beverage firm FS sponsored the back of the club shirts but that appears not to have been extended this season and another partnership with the Turkish crypto exchange platform Tomia which you can see being announced here has been very

Quietly dropped which presumably might have something to do with it no longer existing and the company’s owner yavas uster having been one of 25 people arrested as part of an investigation into defrauding customers by the chief prosecutor’s office in Istanbul last month whoever could have foreseen that a mysterious crypto platform sponsoring a

Football club might turn out to be dodgy there is an excellent video on YouTube titled football’s cryptocurrency and nft crisis by a very very very clever person who did just that for what it’s worth and I don’t really know any more than any of you I don’t get the impression

That ilala is just the frontman for some shadowy investors behind him I could well be wrong but I don’t get that impression but he is certainly very well-connected with some powerful and wealthy people in turkey and it would be absurd to suggest that H City haven’t benefited in terms of striking

Commercial deals with several Turkish companies that quite obviously wouldn’t have happened under any other ownership again exactly how much these Partnerships are worth and what they will mean in terms of future profit and sustainability considerations we won’t know until we see the accounts personally I exercise Extreme Caution

When it comes to any and all football club Owners IL Jala has done a great job of increasing Hall City’s crowds and enthusiasm for the team learning from the mistakes of his first season in terms of Recruitment and he has made football fun again for a club that had

Gone deeply stale I have witnessed a lifetime of whole city owners who have been hailed as saviors and Messiah upon their arrivals only to turn out to be very naughty boys including the Alam who somehow managed to go from hero to zero even while the club enjoyed their most

Successful period on the pitch in their entire existence so forgive me for remaining tentative ultimately I think the whole model of ownership and owner funding in English football is deep rotten and the way in which it turns Ordinary People into foring secants for oligarchs tyrants and a shakery of other

Assorted billionaire Bandits often with hands soaked in blood or at least grotesque exploitation to be well you know all a little bit undignified still it was nice to get a free packet of digestives earlier this season I will wrap up there because this is probably more information about Hall City’s

Current situation than the vast majority of people able to absorb there are still several things that I could have talked about but haven’t such as an Ever improving Academy and impressive pipeline to the first team an utterly tragic training ground which is barely League 2 standard and needs to be left

Behind as a matter of urgency and whole city supposedly having the best food or scran in the entire efl but alas there is only so much whole city content that I can force feed to a global audience on an annual basis hey there’s always next year I bet you’re already counting down

  3. 33:00 does this mean we can just do what man city do with all there internal saudi sponsors and just claim there offering us 5x the money of any club in the league just because they really like our football even if it doesnt make business sense for them

  4. As a fellow Hull fan/member and North Cave native, it is so refreshing to hear someone with such great knowledge and a grounded point of view on our team, I completely agree with everything you have said . I have been following your content for a few years now and have to say it is fantastic. I count myself as quite knowledgeable on football but I learn something new for each of your videos. Please keep up the great work. Hope you have a fantastic Christmas and New Year

  5. Thank you! As a fellow Hull City supporter, it's good to have someone with such a comprehensive understanding of the club creating videos like this about the Tigers. I'll be looking forward to the next installment. UTT!

  6. You may be sceptical that Santa could deliver billions of presents across the globe in such a short time frame but you're forgetting an important factor in the equation….. He has magic reindeer!!

  7. theyre my favorite team in england not because I have any connection with them, but because I had an FM save with them and got quite attached, from what I have seen from them they're looking very promising under the turkish ownership, and Jaden looks great

  8. Having supported City for over 55 years I can honestly say that Philogene is the best player we have bought by a country mile. Last nights game against Bristol City we managed to lose 3-2 after leading 2-1. With Philogene, that would have been a goalfest in our favour. Obviously he will be gone by next season but what skills he has for us all to admire and hopefully keep us in and around the playoffs. If we can only pick up a competent keeper in the new year and nobody else, that will do.

  9. 7 best defender of all time.(Not greatest) players who are best at pure defending. Balling playing ability or goal scoring doesn’t count. It could include center back full back or sweeper

  10. Time to stop messing around, Alfie. It’s time to make the video your entire football fan life has been leading to: Football Ground Scran. Do it. (As in, please do it.)

  11. 😢😢The guy had a point… Tigers 🐅 would have been a better name.. like nobody ever travels to Hull so far as we know tigers could live up there 🐯 it's believable marketing.. but nobody will ever believe that Hull is a civilised city tho, right? 😅

  12. If you add Turkish subtitles to the video, more people will watch it. Hull City team has many fans in Turkey. Even though I don't know English, it seems like a really great and detailed video. It's a great YouTube channel. 🐯🐯🇹🇷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

  13. If this new young CF has, in the channels opinion, potential to exceed Andy Robertson… Then basically you're saying he's going to be a World XI player, as Robertson has been. Hmmm.. unlikely. More likely he's one of those players who'll score 30 in the Championship and 3 in the EPL which is why he was allowed to leave a big club. I've never seen him play, but I'm unbiased and older… Fiver on it??

  14. An interesting video would be Ilicali's takeover of League of Ireland side Shelbourne in the summer and how he was basically forced out by the Shels fans for wanting to get rid of Damien Duff

  15. As a fellow Hull City fan, I’ve been looking forward to get another follow up. Cheers for the early Christmas present!
