How was J.D. Martinez not mentioned when talking about notable Red Sox signings, he was fourth in MVP in 2018 and essential in that championship and played a role in the 2021 ALCS run. Also Kenley Jansen is hall of fame caliber closer and Sox signed him around this same time last year
ownership said they were gonna go hard. tons of free agents left. I think they get Jordan Montgomery but it's gotta be a lot more than that
