Josh Anderson scored a goal and notched an assist, Jake Allen made 30 saves, and Justin Barron sniped the overtime game-winner to lift the Montreal Canadiens to a 3-2 win against the Winnipeg Jets.

  1. I FEEL so bad for the jets. half the fans were rooting for the habs?. It is in winnipeg. They should support more their nice little team. If there is a team i like more than my fav team is probably the jets because they are a small city dependant on hockey and hockey values and they try hard. They should get more support from home fans.

  2. I Love how WINNIPEG is also kind of a “French City”. That’s why losing to the HABS makes me less sad lololol

  3. Is it me or when the habs are away they have a massive crowd in the rival's arena? Either they follow through every game or habs fans are everywhere!

  4. Great set up on the gwg. I like that switch up of Caulfield and Suzuki to the opposite sides, with Mony going around the net to create havoc 💯

  5. All day on sports stations they had the Jets destroying the Habs. Once again the Jets can beat the elite teams then struggle against the bottom teams.

  6. 🤕More horrible NHL, what a joke😂 the Jets still stink. They were never good.Conner who? Bro you just lost to The Habs for no reason🤦🏾‍♂️.The Jets good record is a mirror of how bad the NHL is now🙄.

  7. Justin Barron and the Montreal Canadiens wins in overtime against Adam Lowry and the Winnipeg Jets 🏒🔴🔵⚪🇨🇦

Montreal Canadiens went up to 14-13-4, while the Winnipeg Jets move to 18-9-3

  8. It would be so sweet to see the Habs meet the Make Beliefs in the 1st round. With a 4 – 0 sweep proving the curse of Harold Ballard lives on.

  9. For folks who are confused about the Habs fans at the game, Montreal and Toronto were the only Canadian teams in the NHL for a very long time. Older Canadians were likely cheering for one of those teams and their kids are now cheering for them and their home team. This happens right across Canada. I would guess many of those fans will be wearing Jets sweaters for the next game.

  10. When you can't out-skate someone and aren't strong enough to hold them off…you take a penalty and lose the puck. Penalty or not, that was the saddest giveaway I've seen – maybe ever.

Your #1 overall pick ladies and other ladies.

  11. Montreal survived the first 12 minutes of the first period thanks to Allen. Habs got their legs going and made it a good game to watch with their big wingers Armia-Anderson-Slafkovsky matching Winnipeg's physical play. Good forechecking. Cheers

  12. Allen played very well but the Jets should have easily won this in regulation. Missed not only great chances but SURE goals especially in that first period. Still give the Habs credit for their effort.

  13. Technology has progressed so much; 5G, ultra high def, huge screens and then broadcasters decide to post digital ads on the boards making the picture foggy, and the game jumps around. What a waste of tech.

  14. Regarding Montreal's second goal, there obviously needs to be a rule stating that when the puck is swatted towards the net, it should be classified as a goal-cancelling infraction whenever it isn't clearly evident that the same guy's stick came in contact with the puck (i.e. prior to the stick of a team mate).

  15. That 1st goal was pretty fluke. Then to be gifted a power play in OT. The habs had to win this game, or it would have been massively embarrassing.
