The PNC Championship is held for the 26th time this week as the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida, hosts 20 two-player teams featuring a PGA TOUR, Champions Tour or LPGA player and one of their family members. After Tiger Woods made his return to action at the Hero World Challenge for the first time since withdrawing at the Masters, he’ll once again be back to tee it up at the PNC Championship alongside his son, Charlie. The duo was tied for second a year ago after the first round, but stalled on Sunday and ended up tied for eighth. Justin Thomas returns this year to play alongside his father, Mike. Justin Thomas finished third at the Hero World Challenge two weeks ago and will be feeling confident about taking his second PNC Championship title, as the Thomases won here in 2020. Defending champions Vijay Singh and his son Qass are looking to recreate their magic from 2022. Last year was their 16th time teeing it up together at this event, and they finally broke through for a win, becoming the first pair to shoot two sub-60 rounds at the event. Other pairings to look out for are Nelly Korda and her father Petr, Matt Kuchar and his elder son Cameron, and Bernhard Langer and his son Jason.

  1. I know we have a long way to go and that this all depends on how far Charlie goes in the game of golf, but maybe, just maybe, will we see Tiger and Charlie competing in the same Masters Tournament one day? It’s not impossible, but Charlie would either have to win or be runner up in the US Amateur or become a great professional golfer. I don’t think either are impossible.

  2. Meh, let's see the other groups who actually had a chance to win. The only reason people still watch Tiger is because that's the only person the golf channel shows.

  3. So sick of seeing them again and again…the media is yet again creating another woods monster cheater

  4. Watching these 2 play together might just be even more special than seeimg Tiger win a major. So special to see Father and Son out there ripping it. Moments to be truly savoured

  5. What about the others teams who are numerous strokes ahead of them.
They can't help their continual obsession with him.

  6. Hit 200k today. I'm really grateful for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with 14k in June 2022.

  7. Charlie will make his own mark on the PGA soon enough, what an absolute talent………….and his genes are pretty good too 😂

  8. To all of little Charlie‘s fan boys. He’s a high school golfer, and he isn’t even the number one golfer on his high school team. He hasn’t won a single tournament. You are such sheep, you believe anything the clowns on the Golf channel and other Golf media tell you to believe.

My son played high school golf, I saw kids every week with swings as good if not better than little Charlie.
