  1. I went there absolutely expecting to walk away with new wedges, and spent over an hour going through my own wedges (MG3), and came to the conclusion that all I needed was a loft and lie change. Saved me so much money and now I don't stand over a wedge worrying. All done as a last minute appointment too. No nonsense and really professional experience.

  2. We need to get Ian back to Scotland, so he can do a full fitting with guys like Rick and Peter. It would be great content for everyone's channel.

  3. Got a utility iron on order with the Glasgow branch at the moment. Brilliant to deal with with it not being a standard build and opted to have the shaft pured. A welcome addition to the area

  4. Looks a great facility but with it being indoor only, is it possible to get an accurate wedge fitting when turf interaction is so important?

  5. One thing club champion need to work on (in my opinion) is reducing swingweight. I’ve had two driver fittings over the last couple years and both times the driver they tried fitting me into was over D8.

  6. Definitely learned that the quality of the fitter is just as or more important than the quality of the facility.

  7. Of course the most important question is Club Champion (or should that be Champion Club) Rangers or Celtic!

I hope this is the first of several more sites across UK. I am lucky enough to be 45 minutes away from a brilliant club fitting centre that is close to the TXG level, and completely brand agnostic, but those are very few in the UK.

However, Ian is completely right, it is not enough to have all the brands, all the shafts and technology, it is the people that make the difference

  8. When getting fit for irons, would just hit the 7 iron or are you hitting a few in the set?

Also if anyone is aware of the best facilities around the manchester Liverpool area that would be great to know

  9. Was there last week to get fitted for wedges. Great service from the guys. Looking forward to collecting my vokeys

  10. I am a left-handed player, and club champions has a great amount to look at. Where they lack and need to improve is the putter for left-handed players.

  11. I understand the importance of fitting, but you didn't really show much in relation to the fitting process. Fortunately, I have had a couple of fittings, more of an advertising campaign for club champion, IMO.
I will say, however you – Ian are the best I've seen in the business far superior to what I've experienced in Australia.
