Got fitted for irons last Monday. I tried the 0317Ts (amongst others) but didn't like them. Ended up with Mizuno 223 which are essentially a combo set all by themselves.
For me these kind ofl videos you do james sees you enjoying playing with your mates but competetive but having banter are great viewing keep em coming and kicking gazzas arse hahahaha
Loving all your content with gary at the minute. I would love to see you go for a proper fitting with that guy from golferpairs 4 u like Gazs video as it’s seemed to change his prespective on all clubs. Would love you see you do the same fitting
On the topic of fitting, would you buy a pair of shoes without , checking the instep and width? Was fitted for the 1st time at age 60. Should have done that 40 years ago, instead of playing off the rack. Ended up with 1 1/2 degrees upright and medium sized grips. My Enjoyment level increased greatly. Highly recommend for all levels of play. Great Video. Look forward to the next.
I'm using Titleist 716 CBs. I've had them for years and hit them well. Spending $2k on new irons isn't going to magically make me a better player so they're staying in the bag until the grooves are too worn.
Speaking of lampkin grips I just walked out of the golf shop with a set of lampkin grips grey with the cord showing I put a few on for a friend and I like them so much bought myself a set of lampkin very nice grip very comfortable in your hand
I’m playing the t100s a-6i t200 5-4i. I keep thinking I’d like a zx7 zx5 set. But it’s like my current iron set knows when I’m considering changing and then I go on a run of hitting them great.😂
I just bought some PXG 0211 DC irons with regular graphite shafts and I'm loving them. I've also swapped out the grips for the Jumbo Max grips and I have seen absolutely fantastic results. Gonna be gaming these for quite a while.
I had a full bag fitting at the Titleist national fitting centre at St Ives in 2012, I was playing off a tidy 11 hcp back then. I got the D913 9.5° Driver, 15° Fairway and 19° Hybrid, AP2's 4-PW (with TT superlight S200), 50°, 54°, 58° Vokey SM4s and a Scotty Cameron Newport 2.6 putter. They served me pretty well for 7 years. Then I kinda fell outta love with the game for a few years only playing the odd society game or casual knock with a few mates. I came back to playing more regularly in the summer and found I'd lost the swing speed to match the stiff shafts and lacked the ability to fully use what I had been fitted for. So I swallowed my ego and pride went out and bought a set of Cleveland Launcher XL Halo hybrid irons, Smartsole 4 wedges and . . . Yep a Cleveland Chipper… All with graphite shafts.. Figured sod it, why make the game any harder than it already is. 3 games in so far and I'm pretty pleased with the performance and results… My playing partners laughed a bit until I started popping the chipper to gimme lengths! 😂😂😂
It is so enjoyable watching you two play golf against each other and also chat about golf equipment, definitely pays to have a proper club fitting and I’m pleased Gaz has finally getting tour fitted
Went to a titleist fitting last week. T200 were my best fit. What i was discouraged with is just a slight miss hit and I was losing 12-15 yards of distance. Just not very forgiving. Going to a pxg fitting next week. Running a good deal on the Gen5. We’ll see how it goes

I have an old set of graphite shafted Titleist AP1 710's but I feel now it's time to change to newer ones – so in the market for some & now looking around at all that are out there
Played with a friends Takomo 101T and broke 80 for the first ever time so when 2024 comes i will be getting some, and maybe a bewer driver too but not brand new but 2023.
Just went to PXG 0211 XCor2 this summer. Played some of my best with these, hole in one on league and a closest to the pin in a charity event shortly after I put these in play.

Gary. I looked to go zx5 zx7. Ended after fitting going zx7 and z-forged in the short irons. They are simply brilliant! The blades are stunning.
I reckon you've been stitched up with those irons mate. Some people will do anything for a chicken wrap 🌯😂

In the winter I use my Titleist t300s with KBS TGI 80s. My P790s are getting the 90g version put in. That’s a fantastic shaft.
I bought the PXG 317 t's in the dark model about 2 months ago and they are the best irons I have ever played!
Currently playing the apex pro 21 4-pw and love them
Recently snagged a deal on a set of 2023 p790’s. So far so good
Still using my Wilson Di7 irons after almost 15 years.

PXG 0211 XCOR2’s 6-GW very happy. Got these when they did a price drop. Standard set. Feel as good as my Ben Hogan Apex Edge set.

I am still a beginner and have second hand 30 year old Daytona clubs and some Slazenger V100 half set.
In the market for a smaller DTC brand so very interested in if you do this knock off clubs video.
Playing Apex19. Looking for a new set for 2024.
If I waited until I was happy with my game to get fitted, I’d never get fitted.
