It may seem easy to start with but as the seconds count down, it’ll get harder! Here Canelo Alvarez and fellow pro boxer Bilal Akkawy show this parry boxing drill.

Boxing’s superstar will defend his undisputed super middleweight title against John Ryder on May 6 in Jalisco, Mexico.

The highly-anticipated fight will be held at Akron Stadium, a soccer venue that can accommodate nearly 50,000 spectators.

This will mark Alvarez’s return to Mexico for a bout for the first time since 2011, when he successfully defended his 154-pound title against Kermit Cintron in Mexico City.

Notably, this will be Alvarez’s first fight in Guadalajara since 2010, before he won his first championship.
