Spot on, Dave. You do tell it like it is backed with extensive knowledge and research. I felt uneasy about this game, but Lions will bounce back Saturday. And believe it or not, I'm still optimistic about the Cowboys. So long as the Lions bring their A game. I was with you all day Sunday including post game. Appreciate your coverage and hard work. Lions certainly have the talent.
Lions need to step it up. The division isn't won yet. If the Vikings win out, they win the Division. Now is not the time to start to play your worst football of the year.
True about the fact we should have won and the defense played better but still the DC needs to fired the offense was like it didn't want to get going anywhere but also I can't believe how the referee's were blind to the bears holding and the really bad call about Justin fields getting sacked and throws it into the offensive line men's legs and its not intentional grounding
No1. He’s not BUILT LIKE TYSIN HILL 2. He’s not that type of player that could take that many hits! I really don’t want to put him in any more injury trouble than possible. Remember he’s with us only because he blew out his knee. Don’t want to increase of injury chances.
Worst called coaches game I have ever watched in my life and 60 years old !! Go back and coach high school or rocket football !!! What a down right disgusting game called by our coach !!
I wish you the best for your channel but how use the defense lows to consistently claim that Aaron Glen needs to be fired is absolutely stupid you bring up all the weapons we have on offense but you don't bring up the injuries we have suffered since the beginning of the season our 2nd best corner out mostly the entire season our best pure pass rusher out since wk 2 I believe our best safety I believe was out since wk 2 and best DT out on IR tracy walker has not been the same also was out for a long period of time so for weeks we been without arguably 2 pro bowlers one that lead us in sacks until the last game of the year last year and safety who lead the nfl in interceptions but in games where our oline played decent or great Goff has thrown ints to players who never caught ints before and if we count the balls that could of been ints but dropped and also his fumbles goff has easily regressed in the same offense but you only say he played bad and no one can change your mind on that ok cool w.e. but answer me this why did the rams trade him if he's as good or elite as some would call him take Stafford and go to the superbowl NO BODY GIVES UP ON THEIR NUMBER 1 OVERALL PICK FOR NO REASON UNLESS THEY ARE REBUILDING again I wish you the best but if you are gonna hold Aaron Glen feet to the fire for not having his best players keep that same energy for goff when he has his best weapons and 2 runningbacks who have over 1400 yards and 16 tds I was subscribed to your last channel but I'll be a damn fool to sub to this channel or continue to watch when you tell half trues best of luck to you
The level of panic and histrionics amongst the Lions' fandom is, well I'll just be the bad guy again, WAY out of whack. We are far from being the deepest, most talented team in the conference, much less the league. We are good, and getting better. But 24 months ago, were still absolutely the consensus worst team in the league. The rapid rise since the 3-3 finish to 2021, and most specifically the AZ game that season, gathered a lot of interest. By 12 months ago, almost certainly a bit earlier, the Lions' have been one of the heavily studied offenses in the league. Thus the Ben Johnson hype and other teams drooling over grabbing him as a HC. I said back in July that 11 wins marked real progress and it's still true. And back then I did not expect getting a whopping 2.5 games out of CJGJ and Mosely combined would even be a thing. No knock to a guy overperforming his natural size, but good teams should have a guy like UDFA Jerry Jacobs as a depth piece. Unfortunately with those injuries it means he plays as CB2 across from Sutton most of the time. CB4 to CB2 does have consequences. The O line still has played, what? 1 or 2 games as a full starting 5? So we have significant areas to address yet and even on top of all of that, most of our best players are young and still improving. We have that dirty shot at a SB if, no WHEN, we hit the playoffs. But we were not favorites for that at any time. The Yzerman/Lidstrom era Red Wings, the Bad Boys, they took a lap or two through the playoffs and doing some tweaking once the core was ready.
Long story short (Hi David!) this is just that part on the roller coaster where the chain is cranking ya up that first hill. Also, think about this if you read this far, what is not being talked about anywhere? Our draft picks in '24. Because regardless of anything, those don't matter right now, it's what's immediately ahead.
Before this game I had posted an appeal for positivity. Now look at the weekend including the games today. Green Bay L, Miami L, KC L, Jacksonville L. Ok the Lions record is nine and four. I do not know what it is about midwest crowds but they are never satisfied and maintain wishy washy loyalty. The way you make your team edgy is too praise when they win and over criticize when they loose. I live in Vikings territory and it is the same way here. I think the Bears have a good team in addition to being on the way up as well. You have a lot of youth on the team and they are learning how to win. We have to remember all of these teams have the best there is and any given Day the top can be beaten……support your team Good, Bad, or Indifferent…..Go Lions
Love your show. Love most of your analysis. On this last Bears game I believe your emotions got the best of you. This game was really close. The Lions ran the ball really well, even without Ragnow and Jackson hurt. The defense after the opening 2 drives played well. False starts, drops (St. Brown, Gibbs?) on passes and a snap (Goff/Glasgow) combined with an offside (Hutchinson?) at a crucial juncture cost the game. The Lions did not get "their asses whipped". This game was about focus and keeping concentration throughout. Lions came up short on that score and against a really good defense now that Sweat in on their defensive line lost a close game. Weird officiating did not help, but wasn't the reason for the loss. The Packers lost on MNF. The Dolphins lost on MNF. How do you explain those two or the Jets utterly crushing the Texans, who also lost CJ Stroud. The Lions at this stage of the season have never been in better shape in the Super Bowl era. Have a little faith in the organization who assembled the coaches and players that made it happen. Campbell, Goff and the other vets who've been through the lulls, t he ebbs & flows of really long season know what they face and how to deal with it. If the Lions go 2-2 to finish the season they are NFC North Champs and host a playoff game. When is the last time that happened? Keep the faith!

If the Bears have one of the "worser" defenses in the league, then made last our defense look like thr "worsest". 😅
Sorry Dave, just lightning the mood.
You were right David I loved this episode and I 100 percent agree with everything you just said especially the fact that A MF G needs to go
Well we did have two bright spots on the offense. DPJ and Dan the Man Skipper both looked good

Nowhere did you give examples of Goff failing in this past game.
You instead gave examples of his teammates and coach failing, but blame Goff?
Will you still make Lions content when Jared Goff is playing for the Gwongdong Tigers?

We will be lucky to win one more game this year ! They will end upn9 and 8
Hate being a Lions fan ! Every year , LOSERS !!! I CANT STAND IT
FIRE AG !!!!
Spot on man
You better think of something soon……
I absolutely appreciate your honest assessment of this team. I am not convinced of Ben Johnson’s “genius” and AG is blame deflecting machine.

It's the sol they lose the important games and win the hard games yup Sol
Dan Campbell thinks AG is a good coach i say fire all of them
The Giants just beat the Packers! Now, we need for the Lions to beat the Vikings twice, so Matthew Stafford and Puka Nucua can get into the playoffs!

Fake ass tough guys 😂. Bears should have swept you weak overrated mfs this year
Our defense is 1st against the run and 5th overall. Man yall have a misinformed fanbase
