    I once signed up for a rather pricey putting and short game clinic w Stockton. Told me he couldn’t help me because I putted left hand low. His other deep wisdom was don’t have any practice swings. Then we spent almost an hour watching one of his sons play a bunch of shots out of the sand. Lots of ooohs and aaaahs but nothing learned.

    We also got a signed copy of one of his books. I like Dave but not the best instruction I received.

    I"m a dominate left hander but I play golf right handed …So, Stockon's advice fit me well ….I follow my let hand to the hole …)))

    I went with DS's "guidance" on putting just about 6 years ago. From low side viewing mainly, keeping in motion, as he says, rolling the rock, not trying, back of hand to the hole, good athletic position, forward press, not to try and today I tell every golfer willing to listen and try about DS.
    I have worked on Dave's methods, and today I'm a 5.2 Index and by combining his Putting and his Short Game approach around the greens has allowed my game to improve from a 8/9 index and I play a lot of Golf.
