Q.
The player’s ball has missed the hole and rolled back into another player’s ball on the putting green. What is the ruling?
.
A.
Stroke play = the player is penalised two strokes for their ball in motion after a stroke on the putting green, hitting another ball on the putting green. Ball to be played as it lies.

Match play = no penalty. Ball to be played as it lies.
Rule 11.1a.
.
Is this an illegal pin position?
There is no such thing, but it certainly looks to be a stupid pin position for the speed that the putting green is currently running at. One that will delay play and certainly reduce the enjoyment of the golfers.
