I'm not saying I would be surprised because nothing at this point is a surprise, but I would think some things would need to change for Jon to take this step. Not only the format which he has also said he doesn't like, but Is he ok with not playing the Ryder Cup anymore?
Kyle Porter is possibly one of the most biased “so called” writers out there.
You do realize fellas that some of these sources on Twitter / X have legit ties with insiders on every golf tour. You haven’t a clue. Of course they want to get scoops and get it out there.
Golf will easily be resolved and put back where it needs to be. From the start, the PGAT and DPWT should’ve allowed golfers to play where they want, when they want. Play 4 DPWT events to keep their card. Play 15 PGAT events to keep their card. Jay and his monopoly money grabbing mitts needs to be fired for what he’s done. Jason Gore may likely be the best candidate. I’ve known him for 10 years + and an amazing guy.
Very simple. Let players play where they want and give points to players based on performance regardless of what tour. If you win an event, that should be rewarded.
I know players and caddies in both the PGAT and LIV and I’ll be surprised if Cantlay, Xander and even Finau don’t go too. I know Finau is in talks too, if not agreed on a deal.
And to see the so much coverage on Tiger coming back and a potential to win his 83 event is a joke. For sure he was the best. Was! Not anymore and never will be again. Just give it up.
