Tbh. I do feel bad for Mac Jones. He probably thought he was going into an organization with great coaching and leadership. His first year was great. Then the shit decisions by BB like having Patricia as an OC. Then this year by just being an overall SHIT GM that brought in NO help on the offense. When Mac Jones plays the Patriots on his new team i feel like he’s going to destroy us when he plays the Patriots again.
Only arrogrant idiots that live on past laurels in a league that has passed them by don't implement the rule of thumb when drafting a QB in the first round: Take advantage of the rookie scale contract and surround him with elite talent until he gets his feet under him. Spend money on difference makers, not a fleet of one dimensional, part time, special teams guys.
The Patriots left that kid out there on his own, gave him multiple OCs, didn't invest properly on the o-line, played musical chairs with the back up and didn't give him receivers that make bad passes look dimes.
He's cooked now. Fire the entire offensive staff along with the head coach/GM and start over. It didn't have to be like this. Look at the Patriots' drafts from 2017-present. No excuse for this.
