CPG Chief Referee Michael Jon, PGA of Germany Members, Andrew Duck and Christiane Stenger, and British Professional Simon Edwards bring decades of experience in the world of tournament golf and the rules of the game, collected from across multiple Professional Tours including the Ladies European Tour, German Pro Golf Tour, MENA Tour and the Confederation of Professional Golf’s [CPG] own sanctioned and Professional Championships schedule.
In this four-person panel style webinar, Michael, Simon, Andrew and Christiane will be discussing the practical implications of COVID-19 for golf’s imminent return to society. In the first half, Michael and Simon will discuss local rules adaptations to the various social distancing guidelines, how they can be applied and how to govern events and competitions in a safe manner. In the second half, Andrew and Christiane will be discussing their own experiences in Germany, a country currently undergoing the transition to allowing golf to be played once again, covering various facets of the golf business (academies, course, events, etc.).
By the end of this webinar, you should:
– Learn local COVID-19 rules to use and apply on your own facilities and courses.
– Gain practical tips on playing golf safely.
– Be able to assess how other countries are re-engaging golf currently, and apply their ideas to your own preparations.
