How to improve your golf game and shoot lower scores? Improving your wedge game is the easiest way to lower scores and become a better golfer. Your wedges are known as your scoring clubs and for good reason. PGA Tour Golf Professionals are so good with their wedge game and there is no reason why you can’t master your scoring clubs either.

The most important thing to focus on is knowing exactly how far you carry your wedge shots. Whether your wedge game is more feel, or more technical with a clock system you will learn how to improve your golf game and shoot lower scores when this part of your game improves.

We recommend going through a gapping analysis. Write down those yardages and never forget and if you can get three distances with each wedge down!

  1. That 100 Yards and in are Key to score well. Also know what type of Wedge you as golfer should be using.. What kind of Bounce. Do you bump and run or do you try High Loft and with Quick Stop.. Thin Lie or in the Rough.. So many things to consider. Not specific to a Certain Distant.. Learn to hit them correctly is what is most important.

  2. Excellent test guys! I too am a feel player and tend to manufacture shots to control shot distance, height, and spin. It's worked well for me over the last 50 some years I've been playing the game but it's not a perfect system, especially when playing in the wind and attempting to hit the ball low with spin at my age. I too likely need to consider using an alternative approach like the clock system to get the ball closer to the hole more regularly.

  3. Hi Thomas & Ian Brilliant Video 👍, watching Ian hitting his yardage’s with all the Wedges & very good with in between (part shots)👍around 30+ years ago got a book “Dave Pelz short game Bible” and worked thr’o it he uses the clock face part Wedges system ( I found it most helpful) and recommended it to anyone wanting to improve their “short game” who is willing to put the Practice in👌, Thanks Thomas, Dickey 9hcp 76year senior golfer UK
