  1. My pops said you can tell the character of man by how well he takes accountability of action and outcome. This is a master class imo. Not to ride. Empirical observation.

  2. ”won 1 playoff game” They have won more than that. The last time was beating the Dallas Cowboys, 1991 divisional round 38-6 at the Silverdome. The Detroit Lions won 4 world NFL Championships aka Super Bowls. Last for them was in 1957.

The Lions defeated the 49ers in the playoffs right before the title game. I agree that Barry Sanders and the 1991 were a better. Fontes and his Lions traveled to Washington knowing at that time they were 0-19 lifetime there. Eric Hipple, QB and the Detroit Lions came close with his hail marry from midfield, receiver catching it at the 1 yd line, time expired losing 32-31. The year was 1981. There is no doubt in my mind if they were to win that playoff game at Washington, 1991, the Detroit Lions would have beaten the Buffalo Bills in that SuperBowl. Erik Kramer was a solid QB and the defense lead by Chris Spielman was at the top. 1991 was amazing and I will never forget it.

  3. “If you want to crown them, crown them then. But they are who we thought they were & we let ‘em off the hook.”

  4. With as terrible as this game was played, the coaching on both sides of the ball sealed the deal. Faking a punt inside your own 25 against a team you're expected to lose to, KC in KC, is one thing. Pulling the same stunt against a team you're expected to beat at home (who's already seen it on TV) is another. On the defensive side of the ball, Aaron Glenn learned nothing from the first quarter until time expired. The score at the end of the game shows no reflexion how bad this was. Players are going to have a bad game dealing with the physical aspect. Coaching? Can never lose to emotional aspects or a lack of knowledge to improve. This game was coached like a high school game. I don't expect it to happen again.

  5. Like what Campbell says, exactly what it is that makes a winning season. Takes responsibility for a bad call on 4th too early. He brought out a tighter team play 2nd half. GB played a tight good game all around all 4 Q. Like this coach, all the coaches and this team. Going to the show. You watch. Cheers 🥂

  6. Just get rid of your defensive coordinator. How can you not see thats the consistent weak point no matter whos playing.

  7. Man this is what a coach sounds like? I wouldnt know im a bears fan 😏….. I want to run through a wall right now… Did he just take accountability 😮

No foreal though, did he just admit to a bad call on his part 😢??? Man lion fans are lucky 🤦🏽

  8. God I couldn't imagine talking to the press after a loss like this without blowing a gasket you're already pussed you lost now to have to them rubbing it in would be inhuman 😅😂

  9. I’m not saying my packers are all that great but the lions are just overrated even at 8-3 plan and simple

  10. Reading these comments make me embarrassed to be a Lions fan. They’ve had two bad games in a row and are 8-3. It’s not unreasonable to be concerned, but for the people saying variations of “see I knew this team sucked all along” or “they may not win another game this year”, y’all will always be SOL fans no matter what they do because y’all love being miserable. Pathetic af.

  11. where is the passion and kneecap biting? i want to see this come back with some damn motivation that game was embarassing
