You guys said this in 2021 and UGA obliterated all the teams you hyped up. Georgia is the system right now and they are doing it with backups. i mean am i missing something here
Jim Harbaugh isn't going anywhere, I would appreciate if Colin would stop insinuating that he is.
It's been all about resume the whole year.. Who's got a better resume then Michigan.. That's your answer!!
Oregon lost to Georgia last year 49-3, the over inflation of this team is wild.
Quit over analyzing when you haven't lost a came in 29 games you deserve to be #1 no matter what. Georgia is clearly #1
Thought you said Michigan would slam Ohio State. Ohio State should be in the playoffs. Maybe another OH State Michigan game?
Ryan Day being red faced and voice trembling over comments from Lou Holtz showed his lack of confidence. The team picks up on that.
On Georgia, they always rise to the occasion.
Georgia and Bama would wreck these weak pac and big schools like they have done year after year.
How many years in a Row has The sec Won The Natty ?
The Game going forward will have so much less weight when it comes to the CFP. It's hard to imagine that Michigan and OSU will not be a top 12 team at the end of the year for the foreseeable future.
so if U.M is moved to #1 that would mean OSU lost by 6 on the road to the best team in the country, in turn would put them in the first 1 loss team in the playoffs.
I heard TCU going to playoffs again this year 😂😂 GA stays 1
i like listening to Jonathan alot. the playoff should only be conference champions. otherwise, whats the value of playing games? even let the number 4 and 5 conf champions play for the 4 spot. if you want it really fair, and like the other divisions next year, seed 1-10 should be only conference champions. it would be better if it were 16 teams, but oh well. if you put in an ohio st or alabama because they are a good team, so what? you might not have even won your division and played in a conf championship. youre a fraud, you dont deserve to be there. thats why the comittee, etc is never right. and i dont care if youre a 2 loss or three loss team.
IF it were an eight team playoff, based on what we know today before the conference championship games, I think it would look something like this:
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Washington
4. Texas
5. Oregon
6. Florida State
7. Alabama
8. Ohio State
I could easily see a final four of Georgia, Michigan, Washington, and Oregon coming out of that, but both the Bulldogs and the Wolverines would have very difficult round one assignments.
In the 2nd half, Michigan had the ball for over 18min.
OSU had two possessions and 2 TDs.
But Michigan had 4 possessions, 1 TD and 3 FGs. OSU could not stop Michigan. Michigan made the clock evaporate.
Day, McCord, Harrison just had to sit on the sideline and watch as their 'bread and butter' was nullified. They could not stop Michigan.
Everyone talked about OSU's defense, but Michigan proved they're #1 on D.
As long as the king of stupid analogies backs cheating YAWN
everybody looks good from the skill position stand point for eye test especially playing the teams that are in front of you but real football fans know it’s all about the trenches can your o line and d line be a factor against superior comp 🤷🏾
Georgia has the weakest schedule of the top teams. Fsu undefeated gets in. Osu played with a backup but nobody wants to admit that
Ohio state and Alabama won titles recently with backup quarterbacks
As a Michigan fan, of course I'd love to see them with the top seed. But I would also love to see Big Ten vs. Pac 12 in the Rose Bowl one last time. So Michigan vs. Oregon or Washington in the Rose, and Georgia/Alabama vs. Florida State in the Sugar Bowl.
The CFP committee is supposed to vote on a week-to-week, year-to-year basis. If that's 100% true — then Michigan should be ranked #1. No question at all. Strength of Record topples Georgia. Georgia shouldn't get #1 because of the preseason rankings, or anything that happened last year.
UGA not being as good as last year doesnt mean they arent #1 this year.
Remember when Caleb Williams came in as the backup at Oklahoma? You can’t disqualify FSU for their backup quarterback when you haven’t seen him play enough. You never know what they might turn into.
