In this video, we discuss Kim Mulkey benching Angel Reece (who is ranked #2 in the nation). Reece, known as the NIL Bayou Barbie at LSU is rumored to be struggling in school. Should she focus more on academics or should social media mind their own business? Was Kim Mulkey justified to bench her?

  1. Didn't listen to the whole thing…Angle you are not going to be the bright light!!!!!

  2. You’re biased on behalf of Kim Mulkey and I disagree. Kim needs to check herself and pride. You’re assuming that NIL changed the players. Could NIL have changed the coach’s attitude?

  3. For years, athletes and their families and friends and everyone under the sun, were lobbying for NIL, and now that it has happened, we can see that a monster has been created;🤔

  4. Bro she delivered a Championship like it or not she is a Hollywood star not just a college player wake up people.

  5. Use to be back in the day, amateur athletes, including Olympians, absolutely could NOT make money on anything. If i remember wasnt it Dwight Stones, high jumper got in trouble for almost accepting money? And now we send our pros instead of amateurs to represent us in the Olympics. I don’t necessarily agree with that policy. I think of all the college athletes that now can’t go because of that. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

  6. Follow the money. Colleges are blowing back at black athletes who can make money off their likeness and image. The NFL and NBA are doing the same thing. They do not want stars creating their brand that they must pay. It was never about her grades. College basketball is a 5 player sport, so blaming Reece for the Colorado loss was petty. Those White administrators and coaches are losing the kickbacks they are used to receiving. LSU is sending a message. Instead of focusing on Reece, it should be on LSU and the coach. College players can receive compensation for their talent. Its the law, so stop the retaliation.

  7. Angel in the hood. She thinks she’s something special. When people are turning off of soccer because of Megan Rapino. Keep up your nasty attitude and you will be considered the same.

  8. I don’t understand why black people. Always give a coach a pass when no one running their mouths knows what is going on in this situation.

I see jealousy envy coupled with and hidden case of racism that is steaming from Angel Reese’s accomplishments and success

If nobody really knows what is going on WHY do we side with the Coach always

Kim Mulkey is human and all humans have flaws to include coaches in power.

I despise black people who don’t know the facts yet they create narratives.

Lady shut your damn opinionated ass up. You are creating your narrative and you don’t know the facts

Got Damn!! Another big mouth woman running her damn mouth.

All coaches are not right. Kim Mulkey is not GOD got dammit. 😡😡🤬

  9. It's the other way around I think all the big mouth haters is against her angel Reese you are the best It's not over until God says it's over

  10. Angel Reese is not jealous of no body she got the beauty bage and the brains and a beautiful personality and a very sweet spirit

  11. Let's come to grips with what's happening, people who feel a sense of entitlement are individuals who feel they are better than anyone else, she has disrespected her coach, her university but most of all her team mates, it's time to cut ties with her and move on, she's going to face a harsh reality, when she sees how thermal gives it and the man takes it away. U ain't tiger woods, Shaq, James or Jordan. Your pennies will surely dry up. Good luck young ladies.

  12. I think the Angel Reese saga is an inside job. Regardless, Angel is still a superstar. She is raking in big bucks, making the cover of magazines, pulling in endorsement because she is great. I don't recall Michael Jordan getting bench for having a bad half. Reese is still a beautiful slo-eyed superstar/supermodel. It's not just her on court skill but also her off court phenomenal presence. You don't see the other little girls garnishing that much attention. She has it all and guess what people, LSU is not her future…

  13. Without knowing what the conversation was between player and coach it’s hard to say what could have been done differently. I’m sure the coach talked to her team and told them to prepare for all the increased attention and scrutiny. The target is definitely on your back once you win a championship, everyone is gunning for you including the media. And now with these NIL’s in place every player that has a deal should be partnered with an advisor or counselor to help them manage time and school responsibilities.

  14. Is there a chance Mulke saw Van Lith struggling to look for her shot while at the point, Smith come back looking like an All American and Morrow the second team all American and only other player besides Reese to avg 20 and 10, and struggling to find her place playing essentially the same position as Reese, and Mikala Williams as a true freshman looking like the best player on the team and maybe in the country if she gets enough shots, she’s shooting at 68% and putting up 42 points in a game and leading the team in scoring with less shots than Caitlin Clark’s put up since middle school, and Mulke is letting it drag out longer than she should to not only help resolve those issues, but prove she’s the star of the team and why they’re winning, or at least that she can win without her?
