Each golf club has different loft. Wedges have high lofts, while the irons work progressively lower from your 9 iron down to your 1 iron.

You can control the height of your pitches and chips simply by altering which club you select! Some situations call for a low bump-and-run shot, similar to a putt, while others force you to go high with a pitch, or a high flop shot.
