This is an easy touchdown for about 30 other starting NFL quarterbacks. What Jones sees here is mystifying to me. 52 is coming in but has a blocker–Jones can't slide far to his left because 93 is beating his man, but he could move straight up a bit and step into the throw. The blocking scheme is off–the RB is releasing after stepping inside, just as the linebacker breaks off his assignment–it's clear that Jones didn't read the rush or adjust the protection correctly, like Brady almost always did, which helped compensate for some of the below-average linemen he occasionally had. Then there's the throw. This is just a pillow-soft, nervous underthrow with a complete lack of accuracy and awareness off the back foot. This isn't about arm strength, it's fear, nervousness, lack of awareness, lack of intentionality, and poor decision-making. Those are the flaws that mean that Mac Jones is not currently good enough to start in the NFL. Not sure if he can improve on those things or not but if he doesn't, he just can't be out there on an NFL field.
Why does he lean back like fat Joe? Has anyone ever told him to step up? Set his feet? Mac sucks the coaches suck ,if I were his coach id say next time u have a clean pocket and don't use basic high school mechanics ur done

No one talks abt zappe QUADRUPLE COVERAGE throw and Mac had slight pressure yes it was a bad throw but it was 1 mistake still my QB
