  1. It’s a total lie that the game can not be stopped once restarted. Anyone remember that penalty which was given to man united a few seasons back after the whistle had already been blown? Why is that allowed but not this? total B.S in my opinion

  2. A protocol a only a prediction based on tests. A protocol does not prohibit improvement based on testing or real life responses. Protocols are just the testing before the rule.

  3. Talking about protocol and how "two wrongs don't make a right". Well Mike two negatives make a positive and in the case of the officials for Liverpool vs Spurs, 4 prats don't make a right call.

  4. Sky Sports keeping Paul Merson in a job by putting him out there again… Paying for his gambling sadly

  5. Didn't var change a decision after the fame had finished for man united ? 😂

  6. The way he tried to blind the truth is what amazed me. He had hated on Arsenal for majority of his career. The truth about the agenda of this refs against certain teams will prevail. He was the worst of the referees in the history of the premier league

  7. 200 Million claim wrongful decisions where getting told clubs are now running like a business. So Business decision been wrong the owner would sue in the real world

  8. I think maybe Merson took one too many headers in his career. He seems to think that Mike Dean is in charge of making/changing rules.

  9. We cant change it because the current setup brings a lot of money to our bossses. It's not about football. It's about money

  10. VAR can only intervene if it's a clear and obvious error is the stupidest rule ever if it's an error it's an error and the correct decision should be applied.

Football is run by fools every other sport gets it right with much lower resources, revenue

I watch rugby league aswell and it's a million times better in the Super League.

    1. Put the ref in charge of the VAR not the other way round.

    2. Have the refs miced up when decisions are made.

    3. Show the VAR on stadium big screens show the result like rugby on screen like rugby try or no try. Football Goal or no goal.

It's would stop all this bs and fans will no what is going on rather than thinking the refs are all corrupt like they do in football.

Ud think this was the first season using VAR with how bad it's implemented.

  11. They should put Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal badges on their shirts so we know where we stand and can just move on. Anyone outside these clubs know its not the big decisions its all the small ones they constantly give throughout the game which gift or take momentum of play.

  12. Just look at the statements:
    1. Protocol is to follow the protocol.
    2. Process is the correct process. To ensure no error happens again, we will improve the process.
    3. We can't stop the game cause it's a law. If referee stops it, his career is over.
Sums up everything wrong with VAR. These referees feel they are non answerable to anyone.
Mic them up, will show the true side. It might be incompetence, it might be corruption. Who knows.

  13. They have awarded a penalty to the conceding team after the Opponent has scored a goal on a counter attack and reversed the goal. It’s absolute BS what mike is saying

  14. Why not tell the opposition, an error has been made if they want to concede a goal?

  15. How about to drop VAR. it’s totally ruined football. Can’t even celebrate a goal naturally anymore. It’s really bad
