Host Ricky Sacks and co-host Jason McGovern are joined by Author John Greechan as we discuss his brand new book Revolution: Ange Postecoglou: The Man, the Methods and the Mastery.
Unknown in Scotland upon his arrival and unheralded in the English game, Ange Postecoglou revels in his status as an outside agitator. After transforming a Celtic team in turmoil into serial winners, sweeping up five trophies over the course of two spectacular seasons, his appointment by Tottenham Hotspur made him the first Australian manager to take charge of a Premier League club.
Revolution charts the dramatic story of Postecoglou’s instant impact on British football with Celtic and explores his life and times in the sport, through the eyes of those who know him best. Could a track record in Australian, Japanese and Scottish football transfer to the unique landscape of the English game? Would a man without a playing track record in Europe command the respect of a dressing room packed with international stars?
Examining the traits that set him apart from his playing peers and the coaching education that has prepared him for his biggest challenge, Revolution provides an insight into the making of a man and the unique football philosophy that has reinvigorated teams and transformed playing styles at a succession of clubs across the globe.

I watched an interview with postecoglou and Craig Foster whilst Ange was at celtic, Ange described celtic fans as intelligent football fans that could see what he was trying to achieve at celtic, I only hope spurs fans can be as intelligent and allow Ange to do he's thing. Please spurs fans have patience with Ange.

Bazball is a non-invention and a fake rebranding that a country called England have dreamed up in a persistent cloud of self aggrandising delusion – the rest of the world are quietly laughing. My God, they put `bazball' in the Oxford Dictionary – it doesn't get any better!!!!!

Brilliant watch 👏🏼👏🏼
Jason is right, it was good to lose against Wolves playing that way. Ange will be saying, if you'd kept attacking, we may have had another one or two goals, and wouldn't have been in danger of the late comeback.
Also, going into games against top teams, play the attacking way, and gauge where we're at – then strive for that level
Ange interview on Optus YouTube channel today is good – he mentions that reason maybe started better than previous clubs is quality of the players so they were able to pick it up quicker
Talking about knowing the box being written is like when Ali gold was on holiday in oz as too time out to interview some people and he knew ange knew as was told by others he knew of where to visit even tho wasn’t ange himself actual telling him – and then he mentions it in press conference to ali
I posted this in answer to Matt Lawton's, Times article questioning the legality of Spurs transfer of Jermaine Defoe to Portsmouth in 2008.
Arsenal Bung Scandal:
Bung Scandal involving George Graham, Arsenal Manager 1986 – 1995
John Jenson was transferred from Danish club Brondby to Arsenal in 1992 for a fee of
£1.57m but Brondby only received £900,000.
The remainder went to Norwegian football agent Rune Hauge, who deposited £285,000 into Graham's bank account in the Channel Islands, and the transfer fee was logged by Arsenal at £1.1m.
Graham was later investigated by the Inland Revenue for non-declaration of £425,000 in undeclared income.
Arsenal received no punishment for this dodgy transfer deal which was swept under the carpet by the football authorities. Besides, David Dein, was Vice Chairman of the FA & Arsenal between 1983 -2007. Dein also sat on various committees within FIFA and UEFA including UEFA's Club Competition Committee and Executive Committee. Dein kept a lid on this scandal to protect his beloved Arsenal, but what about the other 140,000 of the undeclared income of 425,000. Was that 140,000 one or more extra underhand payments? Has that 140,000 been investigated?
