Segment 5: Moe Norman was My Friend

For three years (1992-1995), I performed clinic with Moe. Moe, obviously, new how to hit golf balls with accuracy, height, distance and any spin he chose better than any other golfers.

However, Moe did not why he was as good as he became. When we performed clinics, Moe would tell his sensation to the spectators. I would then explain to the spectators what Moe was really doing. Moe was NEVER in the positions he called his buckle, sit, slide and bump. Moe never had a problem with me explaining his actual mechanics.

A few of my subscribers have golfers that they feel should be in the great ball striking category. What separates all of them from Moe, it the number of golfers who have signed their names to the “1996 Bass Wood Carving autographed by peers”.
