    Everyone must stop comparing this young man to Tom Brady, there is only one TB and he would not be the legend he is today if he had been improperly coached and ruined.
    People talk about Mac Jones' footwork etc and how he isn't seeing the field properly. His confidence has been severely eroded and when that happens the simplest task, the things that you normally see and do become distorted, your timing and vision is off even by a split second, your feet don't move properly, nothing works as it should. This is an issue of being improperly coached and lost confidence, confidence that can be found again in a new environment with proper coaching.
    Quarterbacks are thoroughbreds, they are sensitive and artistic as well as being good to great technicians.They need to be pushed hard and coached hard and they need to be nurtured and encouraged at the right moment.
    Mac Jones is a very good player and will overcome this and recover from this, I do believe that wholeheartedly.
    Stop comparing him to TB who is phenomenal on and off the field and who in his own words is tormented. We will never see the likes of Tom Brady again. Mac Jones has done his best to pick up the torch and this complete debacle, disaster and nightmare of a season is not his fault. It started last year when M. Patricia became the OC, how was that allowed to happen? To put a defensive coach in charge of the second year, a pivotal year in the development of a quarterback?? That has damaged his development and confidence.
    Tom Brady had Charlie Weiss and O'Brien, McDaniels and Belichick.
    I am not related to Mac Jones, I have never met him, never seen him in person. It makes me furious to see a person put in such a horrendous position that is no fault of his own and then he is compared to the very best of all time. I will always cheer for him and wish him the best and believe in him. Let him rest and maybe let him play in December and then do the right thing and send him to a team and coaching staff that can resume his proper development..

    mac jones doesnt have any protection, there is a sorry oline thats suppose to protect him. they are the ones who need to be yelled at. Not to mention the defense cant cover receivers.

    Lets be honest here, team from the coaching staff down to the player is failing. We have gone through 3 Offensive Coaches in 3 Years, and Bill hasn't looked like the super-star coach since Brady left, go figure!

    Patriots fan and it's been brutal to say the least. Time for a change. We as fans had a good 20 year run but it's time to start new. Bill can sail and play golf on Nantucket. I would like to see them bring Caserio back as GM and Vrabel the coach.

    Bellicheck has been exposed. I hope Mac gets the hell out of this dumpster 🔥. This is all on the coach, ALL IF IT. Mac can't flourish if the coaches come in and out of NE like they're riding in a merry-go-round. It was the Tom Brady way the whole time.

    Mac Jones isn’t great but only about 6 QBs in the NFL are. The Patriots are a train wreck from the front office down. They need a new GM and Coach with recent proven track records. No coach who screams at a player in public like OBrien did should be coaching anything anywhere and Belachek just standing there. The Brady era is over and unless losing is a habit they want to encourage they need a new GM and a new Coach- or their next QB will go down the same road,

    Mac Jones really needs to get away from the Patriots. He may never be good, but he'll never be worse than he is now.

    Now that it is obvious that it was always Brady and the fact that top players wanted to play with him and it was never Belichick, the Patriots will be firing Belichick this off-season and removing all of his deadweight coaching tree.
