I didn't know Adam until the awful recent events, listening to the speaches here it's obvious that he was a truly great guy and simply one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. The bravory his family and freinds have shown here is remarkable and I am sure he would be immensely proud of you all. Can't imagine what you are all going through. Special mention to Ryan for finding the strength to speak your words, sending you all the love and support in the world.
Gosh so unbearably sad.. so much pain for so many friends and family and ice hockey people of the world.. my two sons have played their whole lives.. my eldest 29 years the same…just can’t imagine the heartbreak everyone close is going through..we have all been touched by this unnecessary tragedy, senseless tragedy..god bless everyone hurting RIP Adam Johnson ❤
My condolences go to the Family, Friends, and Loved One's of Adam Johnson. In my 53 years, i cannot recall a "single event" in Ice Hockey that touched the Hearts of the World of Professional and Amateur Ice Hockey Athletes as did this unfortunate tragedy. Maybe the 1980 USA Gold Medal Ice Hockey Team 4-3 win over the Soviet Union would be a comparable single event in Ice Hockey history. God Bless Adam and may he always be remembered…

Thank you to the Johnson family for sharing this with us. Everyone who spoke showed great courage, love and pride for Adam. He clearly touched everyone he came into contact with. A very rare light in the world. His life will be an inspiration to many many more people who didn't know him. It has been a privilege to get know a little of the heart and soul of a great human being. Thank you so much.

I was one of Adam's classmates from elementary school all through high school. I wasn't close to him, but he always seemed so kind and sweet, and I know so many of our graduating class will miss him so so much. He was taken away far too soon, and he will absolutely be missed by all of us. I'm grateful for even being able to be a passerby in his life, and he will never be forgotten. I carry the memory of our first classmate who passed many years ago now, and I will be doing the exact same for Adam. Rest in Peace Adam, your Hibbing Bluejacket Family will love and miss you so so much.

Im very moved by his celebration of life. I didnt personally know Adam but I saw him play in Nottingham with the Panthers.I'm truly heartbroken for all the people who knew and loved Adam but I'm thankful that he gave so much joy to so many. Justice for Adam
I just heard: "Suspect is arrested for Manslaughter."
It can only be Matt Petgrave. I'm sure he didn't mean to kill Adam, and I'm sure he's in bad shape now.
But it wasn't an accident. He took the risk of hurting Adam with that kick. Skids are razor sharp.
I am grateful that there is now an investigation and I hope there is a fair trial.
It won't bring us Adam back. But it will bring certainty to all who love him and cry for him. And perhaps those responsible for the sport of ice hockey will draw some conclusions.
