The 2023 Ryder Cup is the 44th edition and runs between September 25 – October 1. Luke Donald is the European Team Captain and Zach Johnson is the U.S. Team Captain. The U.S. are the reigning champions after winning 19-9 at Whistling Straits in 2021. Every two years, 24 of the best players from Europe and the United States go head-to-head in match play competition. Drama, tension, incredible golf, camaraderie and sportsmanship are served in equal measure, captivating an audience of millions around the world. It’s an event that transcends sport, yet remains true to the spirit of its founder, Samuel Ryder.

Europe had Lowry, Rose, Tommy and Mcilroy as of age experienced and moral leaders, the voices of the team that supports the youngers and rookies of the team. Viktor had a bit of that + he is on fire this season. And What abt USA ? I see only JT with voice experience leader to galvanize the team…that's not enough. All the others look like non leaders' quiet voices. And no experienced guys as of age.
I see Brooks, Scheffer and Spieth more like a leader in playing area only. Not galvanizing leaders.
DJ, Keegan, Glover and Bryson have either experience or is on fire and should have been picked instead of
Spieth, Burns, Fowler and Morikawa..
If Zach Johnson and everyone else thinks that this Ryder Cup was a positive experience, then they are bind and in denial! In order for the US to dominate again, we must have a totally different mental approach! Kinda like Seve had? However, our PGA tour is to blame? They pamper these guys so much they are soft! Also, they think they should be paid to take a shit? I do not forsee a US win against this European team for at least 10 years or so?

Very apparent that these guys don’t care about the Ryder cup as much as Europe. Would any of these guys prepare for a major by taking 5 weeks off? This press conference is proof of that,these guys couldn’t care less
I can tell you one thing, if Tiger Woods was in this team he for sure would not be laughing & joking, team USA did not give a damn or showed any heart/pain for their huge loss. Maybe your captain was not as a bad as people made out and just a terrible squad poor team. Freddie Couples would have played better & with heart. Terrible USA, be ashamed. Only Homa can walk out of their with some pride.

I’m a golf fan and was rooting for the Euros, that being said, Speith, Ricky, and Zack not playing that LIV guy in all matches may have been a mistake?? Aside from that, great contest, the fans were awesome, the US fans will give it all in 2025, game on…

When you look at the USA Captains picks, total contribution was only 6 points over 3 days, they were total garbage.

US Patriotism ? Ryders Cup players are privileged players – they are chosen to represent their country. Now they ask for more more moeny for playing at the next Cup. There would be thousands of people who would be honoured to play for free and give their last shirt for it – and here you have wealthy , spoiled players who even dare to ask for even more money to play. Where is the famous American Patriotism which is always so displayed ? These guys are super rich hypocrites , preposterous and laughable and think they can fool us. Just join LIV and accept blodd money from a Saudi government that has no respect for human rights and which would lock you up if you would publicly criticize and oppose it. US- patriotism – not from these guys, its all fake!
