Those white dots on the back of your putter represents Domino's dots; when the putts start falling like dominos…
That had to be the most "jaw dropping" podcast episode I think you've done. What a story!! Fantastic loved it and I will share.
Only saw this guy play a few times, but he always played well, and had the cool hair, with no hat.👊
Great interview….that was cool…
There better be a 10 shot challenge with Robert coming!?
I've been watching your channel since the beginning of first Covid. Please don't take this the wrong way, however this was my favorite Podcast I have watched. Even though this one was longer than most, I found myself wanting more. Robert is a GREAT story, and would love to see a match with Robert, James , Guy and you. Thank you for the entertainment , I look forward to all your content.
I played in the junior section with Robert. I was a year or two older. He used to practice with another junior.
In the summer holidays I’d get dropped of by my parents when they went to work. He’s be there before me and stay longer. Had a good swing back then, just a good tempo.
The golf club is Ingestry park golf club. Difficult to shoot low scores then as quiet long and very small greens.
Brilliant podcast.
Really great podcast! Such a genuine guy. Well done guys!
Brilliant, I hope you have around with Robert, what a great human, humble, hard working, new what he wanted, worked hard and achieved, best interview yet
127 that's my score on a good day lol 😆
This is fascinating.
Robert Rock top top Gent, what was obvious is the fact you did not talk alot about how the mind works. loved the question from brown NOSE asking about what Robert bought, really great QUESTION, hahahahahaha SNOWFLAKE OOOPPPSSS.
Like the Robert rock
The haircut like the fifth beatle
Cool
Much rather here a story like Robert’s, amazing winning a tournament with tiger in the last group
Robert Rock v James Robinson as a few have said has to happen!! Or maybe a 2v2 including Rick and Guy. 👍👍
The guys Rick is talking about being able to hit the ball are just athletes, playing sports etc their whole lives. They're coordinated and strong. Which is why it seems just natural to them. They still dont play well without going and practicing
More more more of this type of podcast longer format more in depth didn't felt rushed like the hour long usual podcast
Great story I really felt I was taken along his journey over 20 yrs
Keep up the good work
hope you getting robert on the course for a game
what a great guy Robert is !!
I actually love this pod cast, was amazing to listen to the grit it took to make it and to beat Tiger woods after all that… So humble a great listen…. The hat is a funny one. 😀
Would love to hear him do commentary on sky etc
Such a great interview, one of my favourites on the channel. Such an incredibly humble guy is Rock and he just has a great ability to share his story. Can't believe it was nearly 2 hours, time flew past!
Another brilliant job by Rick & Guy doing the interviewing. 👏
Just wish Rick would let his guests finish a story, his enthusiasm always takes over. No idea what Robert's round was like versus Tiger or his winning moment. And would have loved to have heard more about Roberts recent wins or which pros he would love to work with but Rick always wanders off bless him.
Robert is a shining example to everyone , sport business , life. He is an absolute world class athlete, proven winner yet he is so humble , class, warm, engaging! So many people with over stated arrogance could learn from this guy! Best episode so far . Well done Rick and Guy.🎉
Enjoyed that. Always stood out for no hat. I remember seeing him at the Scottish open at Loch Lomond. Interesting debate on junior golf at the end.
Best interview by far upto now on your channel. What a great player Robert was/is and what a lovely fascinating character. He was always one of the coolest best dressed guys on tour and has the a wonderful pretty golf swing. Thoroughly enjoyed this.
Have youse gave up on H.I.T
Robert still holds the course record at my local golf course not sure what it is but it's something ridiculous like a 62…..my lowest round is a 1 over par gross 73 and I thought that was good just shows how good these guys are.
What a truly nice bloke. I had followed Robert's career but never knew the back story. This is the antidote to the money obsession which currently pervades golf and its media coverage. Also brilliant to learn of his commitment to bringing kids into the game. As one who is involved in this in a minor way I know how incredibly important this is.
Great interview, down to earth normal guy who is excellent at golf but hasn’t forgotten where he has come from. Another good pod guys
Fantastic interview and what a great insight into the road to becoming a professional golfer. Absolutely brilliant podcast.
Cracking pod lads, Rocky class, such a likeable guy
Brilliant interview! Loved it
Class…. so insightful. Proper golfer of the generation that I grew up watching.
